With Kemi Badenoch now expected to announce that the Tories made a mistake backing net zero by 2050, GB News asks its members if they agree with the Leader of the Opposition.

In her policy renewal announcement, Badenoch looks poised to “confront the real problems”, including on Britain’s energy policy.

In her announcement, Badenoch is expected to say: “Net zero by 2050 is impossible. I don’t say that with pleasure. Or because I have some ideological desire to dismantle it – in fact, we must do what we can to improve our natural world.”

However, the Leader of the Opposition’s speech yesterday was interrupted by eco-zealot activists who bashed Badenoch over her alleged support for billionaires.

The North West Essex MP is also expected to spark a backlash from environmentalist groups within the Tory Party.

“This undermines the significant environmental legacy of successive Conservative governments who provided the outline of a credible plan for tackling climate change,” Sam Hall, head of the Conservative Environment Network, said.
