Air Canada Swings to First-Quarter Profit, Suspends Full-Year Guidance
Air Canada AC -2.09%decrease; red down pointing triangle swung to a profit in the first quarter on resilient air travel demand, but suspended its full-year guidance amid unpredictable jet fuel costs.
“Given ongoing disruption in global energy markets caused by recent developments in the Middle East and the significant volatility in jet fuel prices, the reliability of any fuel forecast for the second half of 2026 is materially reduced,” the Montreal-based airline said Thursday.
