I run the North American diversified financials vertical. And I’m very pleased to introduce Marc Rowan, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Apollo Global Management. Marc co-founded the firm in 1990, and he served as CEO since 2021. He’s also a thought leader across financial services and a pioneer of the alt insurance model, which its largest competitors have replicated. Marc, thank you for joining us in London.

So Apollo was founded in 1990 with a focus on private equity, but actually initially a little more of an investment banking focus. The firm now has evolved into a diverse global alternative asset management firm with scale across all 3 channels: Institutional, individual and their leading insurance platform. Apollo pioneered the retirement model with the creation of Athene and is also a first mover in investment-grade private credit and is also capitalizing on the industrial revolution. The firm now manages more than $1 trillion in AUM and is one of the 5 largest alt managers in the world across all metrics. So with that, let’s get started.
