Canada Services PMI Improves in July Yet Remains in Contraction Territory
Activity in Canada’s services industry remained subdued last month as price pressures intensified and output and sales declines, data released Thursday showed.
The S&P Global Canada services purchasing managers index climbed to 49.1 in July. That marked an improvement from June’s 47.1 but still below the 50 threshold separating contraction from expansion.
