S&P 500 Rides Sixth Week of Gains to Record Close
The stock market’s rally hit its sixth week with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq at their highest levels on record.
The S&P rose 0.8%. The Nasdaq rallied 1.7%. Both rose for a sixth week in a row, their longest weekly winning streaks since 2024. They also finished the week with record closes.
The Nasdaq marked its largest six-week gain since April 17, 2009, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
