1. The Trump family’s new crypto bank, World Liberty Bank, is backed by the “spy sheikh.”

Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al Nahyan, an Abu Dhabi royal and U.A.E. national security adviser, along with co-investors, owns a 49% stake in the holding company created to house World Liberty Financial’s banking venture, according to people familiar with the matter. The firm recently received preliminary regulatory approval to launch a national trust bank to manage USD1, a stablecoin with $4 billion in market value.
