3. ‘Night Court’ (2023 – 2025)
The original Night Court was one of the fan-favorite sitcoms on NBC that could get away with almost any kind of joke thanks to the late Harry Anderson and the rest of the cast. For the recent revival series, Saturday Night Live veteran Melissa Rauch plays Abby Stone, the daughter of Anderson’s character, Judge Harry Stone.
Abby follows in her father’s footsteps by becoming a night court judge, and she convinces Harry’s friend, Dan Fielding (John Larroquette), to return to the court as a defense attorney, rather than resuming his role as the prosecutor on the first series. Dan’s grown a heart over the last three decades, and Larroquette does spectacular work bringing out his character’s humanity while retaining the wit that made him so much fun to watch in the ’80s.
Night Court is streaming on Netflix.
2. ‘Prodigal Son’ (2019 – 2021)
Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne) never brought his father, Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen), to his school’s career day … and for good reason. As seen in Prodigal Son, Martin was a prolific serial killer until his son helped the police bring him to justice. Malcolm’s greatest fear is that he will turn out just like his father, and those feelings have sabotaged his personal and professional relationships.
In the present, Malcolm is coaxed into resuming his career as a criminal profiler, but he soon realizes that he needs his father’s insight to crack the case. Martin is only too happy to help his son, because this is his way of worming back inside Malcolm’s head so he can manipulate him for his own ends. This isn’t some heartwarming tale of reconciliation — it’s like living with Hannibal Lecter as your father.
Prodigal Son is streaming on Netflix.
1. ‘Stargate SG-1’ (1997 – 2007)
The Stargate movie didn’t make a big splash in theaters, but the franchise took hold on television and became the longest-running American sci-fi series to date. Stargate SG-1 started on Showtime and shifted to Syfy halfway through its run, which may be why it’s considerably darker in the earlier seasons. This series picks up after the movie, with Jack O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) reuniting with archeologist Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) after he elected to remain behind on an alien world.
When an ancient threat to humanity arises, Jack and Daniel from the SG-1 team, with Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) and an alien warrior named Teal’c (Christopher Judge), explore the galaxy through the Stargate network and discover a way to defeat their common enemy before Earth itself is threatened. There are over 200 episodes, so this show will keep you busy for a long time.
Stargate SG-1 will stream on Netflix on February 15.

Eric Dickerson is NOT backing down from his Bad Bunny stance — and now he’s dragging the NFL into the fire!
The Hall of Fame running back tells TMZ Sports he’s doubling down on the opposition to the global superstar’s headlining of Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show.
Of course, Dickerson has been very outspoken about the choice … saying he’d rather anyone else play, insisting Benito should “keep his ass where he’s at” in Puerto Rico.
So when we caught up with the NFL legend on Wednesday at the San Jose airport ahead of the big game … we had to ask if he’d changed his mind.
“Hell no. Absolutely not, man,” Dickerson said. “Why can’t we get somebody from right here, from home? How about someone from right here in San Francisco? All these artists right here in the area to play at the Super Bowl.”
Dickerson also questioned whether a Spanish-language performance would resonate with American audiences.
“He speaks English,” Dickerson said. “I don’t know if it’s going to be in Spanish or whatever. What sense does that make?”

The former Rams star then waded deeper into controversy … saying he doesn’t view Puerto Rico the same as the mainland U.S., though he insisted he has nothing against the island itself.
Dickerson wasn’t done swinging.
He also blasted the league’s diversity efforts — calling the Rooney Rule “a freaking joke” and arguing Black coaches still aren’t getting fair shots at top jobs.
“You can’t make a person hire a Black coach,” Dickerson said. “Owners are going to do what they want to do. You feel comfortable with who looks like you sometimes. That’s just it.”

“They’ll do anything for money,” he said. “As an entity, the NFL is one of the most corrupt organizations there is.”

Moment of truth in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case … the first deadline from the ransom letter came and went … but the family says they still haven’t heard a peep from whoever abducted her.
The first deadline lapsed at 4 PM PT Thursday … that’s when millions of dollars in bitcoin were due in exchange for Nancy’s safe return.
‘TODAY’ host Savannah Guthrie uploaded a video of her brother saying the family has not gotten proof of life on Nancy … as they’ve been requesting since Wednesday evening.
Thursday’s deadline was included in the ransom letter sent to TMZ on Tuesday, which we forwarded to law enforcement, and the FBI came out Thursday and revealed to the public the first deadline date.

Former NFL tight end Greg Olsen announced the death of his older brother, Chris, in a poignant social media post.
“It is with great sadness that I share this update. Despite fighting with every ounce of his being, my older brother Chris has lost his battle with Glioblastoma,” Greg, 40, shared via Instagram on Thursday, February 5. “This terrible disease took many things, but it could never take Chris’s spirit for life.”
Glioblastoma is an aggressive form of cancer that starts as a growth of cells in the brain or spinal cord.
“These past few weeks, people came from all over the country to Little Rock to share Chris stories,” Greg wrote. “We laughed. We cried. We remembered a larger than life personality who made everyone feel his love. More importantly, he was able to feel the love and impact he made on countless people over his 42 years.”

Greg — who played 14 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks and now works as an analyst for Fox Sports — received condolences from the football community after announcing Chris’ death.
“Praying for you brother 🙏🏼❤️,” commented San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, who played with Greg during their overlapping time with the Panthers.
Greg’s Fox Sports colleague Kevin Burkhardt wrote, “Prayers for the Olsens- love you all so much. Chris was always smiling, pure joy. He certainly will be remembered that way. ❤️”
Erin Andrews, who also works with Greg at Fox Sports, commented on the post, “Love the Olsen family and Chris so much. Here for you always.”
Chris committed to Notre Dame before transferring to Virginia in 2003. After backing up Matt Schaub and Marques Hagans for three seasons, Chris was named the starting quarterback during his senior season in 2006.
“If you are willing to wait for four years to get your chance, I think that shows people how much you really love the game and how much you really want it,” Chris told VirginiaSports.com at the time. “I knew it would all work out in the end.”
Greg recalled how his father, Chris Olsen Sr., ingrained work ethic into him as his head coach at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, New Jersey.
“My dad drew that distinction for us,” Chris said. “He was always harder on Greg and myself than he was on anybody else on the team. He did not want to make it look like he was trying to favor either one of us. We always had to be that much better than the guy in front of us. If we were even, he was going to play the other guy, so we had to be considerably better. We knew why he was harder on us, but sometimes it was tough. In the long run, it made us better as a team.”

Patrick Mahomes Sr. will likely be spending his Super Bowl Sunday behind bars — the ex-MLB player will remain in jail until a hearing next month — with prosecutors pushing for him to serve a 10-year prison sentence for violating the terms of his probation.
As we previously reported, the 55-year-old was thrown in jail this week … and now he’s staring down the possibility of up to 10 years in prison.
Mahomes Sr. has been serving five years’ probation after pleading guilty in his 2024 DWI case, but authorities claim he broke the terms of his probation by allegedly drinking alcohol — with the probation violation report stating he had a high reading on his SCRAM alcohol ankle monitor on Jan. 1.
According to court records, Mahomes Sr. was booked into Smith County Jail on Tuesday and is currently being held without bond. Officials say his probation officer was alerted after his alcohol-monitoring ankle device reportedly showed a high reading on New Year’s Day.
The prosecutor also says he failed to perform his community service at the required rate of 3 hours per month for several months.
The probation violation report claims Mahomes Sr. later submitted urine tests on Jan. 5 and Jan. 9, and both reportedly came back negative for alcohol.
Still, it looks like prosecutors are moving forward with the violation claim … and a judge will ultimately decide whether Mahomes Sr. will have his probation revoked and potentially end up behind bars..

As we previously reported, Mahomes has been arrested for DWI at least three times — the most recent coming days before the Super Bowl in 2024, which his son’s Chiefs competed in and won over the San Francisco 49ers.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on March 9, when he’ll have the chance to fight the allegations and try to stay out of prison. The judge ordered him to remain in the Smith County Jail until the hearing.

Banks has been under fire since audiences began rewatching old seasons of “America’s Next Top Model” during the COVID-19 pandemic. While Banks is not listed as a producer, D’Amato said, “She’s a producer,” before branding her a “narcissist” who won’t take real accountability for the harm she’s allegedly caused people because she doesn’t know how.
“If she was really upset about it, then she wouldn’t still be making millions of dollars because this same franchise is still be licensed in other countries around the globe,” D’Amato said.
And her bold comments didn’t stop there. She went further, blasting Banks as a “slimy little snake.”

D’Amato Says Tyra Banks Rushed To Release Netflix Series Ahead Of Upcoming Tell-All On Rival Network
Elsewhere during her conversation with TMZ, D’Amato claimed the only reason Banks inked a deal with Netflix was that the former Victoria’s Secret model allegedly caught wind that she and other “ANTM” contestants had signed on to be part of a tell-all on the E! Network in March 2026.
D’Amato said the two productions would differ. Netflix would likely focus on on-camera behavior, whereas the E! network would focus on the “psychological warfare that they did to us behind the scenes.”

Tyra Banks Finally Opens Up About ‘ANTM’ Backlash In Netflix Docuseries
According to The Blast, Banks will star in “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model,” premiering on February 16, 2026. The series is said to be reflecting on the modeling competition show’s “complicated history.”
In the teaser, Banks addresses some of the backlash, admitting that she “knew I went too far.” She added, “It was very, very intense, but you guys were demanding it, so we kept pushing it, more and more and more.”
“Reality Check” is directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan—filmmakers known for their work on the streamer’s “American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden”—and will feature Banks, co-creator Ken Mok, and former judges and contestants.

Another ‘ANTM’ Contestant Comments On ‘Reality Check’
Season 1 winner Adrianne Curry, however, had different feelings about the series, according to The Blast.
In a social media post, the former reality star called the pushback against Banks and the reality series “absurd.”
She expressed her gratitude for the series and blasted people for “psychoanalyzing” the show “over 20 years later.”
Curry also explained why she wasn’t part of the Netflix series, saying she doesn’t “trust” TV producers and hoped to avoid extra attention.

Banks Commented On Backlash During Previous Event
The Netflix docuseries won’t be the first time that Banks has discussed the backlash against her. At a March 2025 event, Banks fired back at critics, saying she built a show from the ground up to celebrate diversity in an industry that had very little of it.
“To show different beauties at a time when the world was like, ‘What? You casting that? And what? Was it that?’ A time when people in the fashion industry were telling me, ‘You putting the girls from the hood on your show?’ I was like, ‘Why can the girl from the trailer park become a supermodel, but the girl that’s chillin’ in the park in the hood can’t?’ And we fought, and we struggled, and we made it happen,” she said.
She finished with a strong declaration: “… I refuse to have my legacy be about some stuff linked together on the internet when there were 24 [seasons] of changing the world.”
A middle school counselor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been found dead after he was accused of allegedly inappropriately messaging a former 14-year-old student.
Police confirmed that Quinton Dixon was found dead at the age of 44 of an apparent suicide in an unused building at Glen Oaks Middle School on January 28, according to People.
Dixon’s death came two weeks after he had been placed on administrative leave from his job at Westdale Middle Magnet School. While he was on leave, an investigation was launched into the allegations made against him.
In January, he was accused of messaging the teenage girl via Instagram between November 2025 and January 2026.
A warrant was filed in late January for his arrest on four counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to court records viewed by People.
The girl recounted to police that she came into contact with an adult male counselor from her former middle school. She said that he stopped his car next to hers and told her she looked familiar. She then told police that they briefly spoke before he asked her for her phone number or Instagram profile.
After she shared her Instagram information, she said she started to receive likes and messages from the man on Instagram.
The girl also told police that the man’s name was Dixon, adding that he said he coached the football team at the high school she is currently a student at. The victim also told police that Dixon allegedly called her “fire” and that he never forgot about her after she graduated from middle school.
Police investigated the messages exchanged between Dixon and the student, which they characterized as being “consistent with grooming behavior in pursuit of an intimate relationship with the minor victim,” according to the warrant.
The warrant added that Dixon likely started talking to the girl on November 10, 2025, when he allegedly asked her about her sexual orientation in response to a photo of her with a female friend. The warrant also alleged that he asked the girl where she lives and offered to give her a ride home several times.
Following Dixon’s death, a spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System told WBRZ that they were aware of the employee’s passing.
The attorney for missing Virginia high school football coach Travis Turner addressed the charges of child pornography and solicitation levied against him amid his disappearance. “We remain prayerful for his safe return and for everyone affected by the circumstances surrounding his disappearance,” attorney Adrian Collins said in a statement on behalf of the Turner family […]
“We extend our condolences to the school community, family and loved ones as they process this information during this difficult time,” the spokesperson said in the statement.
Redell Norman, who attended Glen Oaks and coached football with Dixon, also opened up about his passing.
“It’s unfortunate the circumstances of his untimely demise, but yes, I did know him and the situation is just so unfortunate, we just got to pray for everybody,” he told the outlet.
Meanwhile, a resident of the area said that the situation as a whole was upsetting. “It’s tragic all the way around, something that you really can’t explain about,” the person said.
The Baton Rouge Police Department did not immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment regarding Dixon’s arrest.
