Cast: Nobunaga Shimazaki, Naoya Uchida, Akio Ootsuka, Takuya Eguchi.
Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai continues the long-running Baki saga, picking up after the events of Hanma Baki and introducing one of the anime’s biggest villains yet. After finally settling his conflict with his father, Baki is left with no one left to challenge him. As the champion of the underground fighting world, he effortlessly defeats anyone who steps into the arena against him, leaving him bored and searching for a new purpose. But that sense of calm is quickly erased when a scientific experiment brings one of Japan’s most famous historical figures back to life: the legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto. Resurrected with the same skills and deadly instincts that made him a legend centuries ago, Musashi immediately begins testing his strength against the greatest fighters of the modern era.
However, adapting to the present proves difficult for the swordsman. Being someone who always stood by honor and who was shaped by war and dueling to the death, Musashi finds himself at odds with modern, softer society. As he carves a path through Tokyo’s strongest warriors in pursuit of worthy opponents, his inevitable showdown with Baki looms on the horizon. Season 1 Part 2 raises the stakes as Baki and the world’s greatest fighters confront a threat unlike any they’ve faced before.

Alongside new friends and Pokémon companions, she sets out to uncover the truth behind the pendant while growing stronger as a Trainer. Witch Hat Atelier

Release Date: April 6 | Studio: Bug Films | Streamer: Crunchyroll
Cast: Rena Motomura, Natsuki Hanae, Hibiku Yamamura, Kurumi Haruki.
Coming to an end this month, Witch Hat Atelier has established itself as one of the standout fantasy anime of the year. Set in a world where magic is inaccessible to ordinary people, the story follows Coco, a young girl who has spent her life fascinated by witches and the wonders they can create. Raised by her mother, a dressmaker, Coco assumes magic is a gift people are simply born with, until a chance encounter changes everything. Driven by curiosity and excitement, she attempts to cast a spell herself, only for her actions to trigger a devastating accident that changes her life forever.
Recognizing both her talent and the difficult road ahead, the witch Qifrey takes Coco under his wing, introducing her to a hidden world of magic and powerful forces she never knew existed. As Coco trains alongside other apprentices, she begins to realize that magic is as dangerous as it is beautiful. Filled with breathtaking animation, heartfelt character growth, and a richly imagined fantasy world, Witch Hat Atelier balances wonder with genuinely creepy beats. Add in intriguing villains and complex characters, and it’s easy to see why fans are already hoping for a second season.
Go For It, Nakamura-kun!!
Episodes 10-13
Release Date: April 1 | Studio: Drive | Streamer: Crunchyroll
Cast: Chiaki Kobayashi, Yuuki Sakakihara, Takuya Eguchi, Ai Fairouz.
Also wrapping up this month, Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! is a charming romantic comedy that proves sometimes the biggest obstacle to love is simply saying hello. The series follows Okuto Nakamura, a painfully shy high school student who has been hopelessly smitten with his classmate Aiki Hirose ever since they first crossed paths at their school’s entrance ceremony. While Hirose is outgoing, friendly, and effortlessly approachable, Nakamura struggles with anxiety and overthinks even the simplest social interactions.
Determined to get closer to his crush, Nakamura spends countless hours rehearsing conversations and imagining every possible outcome before finally working up the courage to talk to him. Unsurprisingly, things don’t go according to plan, and what should have been a simple hello quickly turns into an awkward misunderstanding, setting the tone for a story filled with equal parts secondhand embarrassment and genuine sweetness. Beneath the humor, Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! is a heartfelt coming-of-age story about friendship, love, and finding the courage to be honest about your feelings. School events, cultural festivals, and everyday teenage experiences help gradually bring Nakamura and Hirose closer together, creating a relationship that feels both relatable and endearing. Funny and surprisingly heartfelt, it’s the kind of anime viewers will be sad to say goodbye to when it comes to an end later this month.
