7 HBO Shows That Are Amazing From Start to Finish

Published

on

There’s something very satisfying about a show that knows exactly what it’s doing from the start. You don’t have to worry about a weak season or a disappointing ending, which happens more often than you think. But I love when I can just settle in and trust that the story is going somewhere, and more importantly, that it will get there properly. That kind of consistency is rare, especially with long-running shows.

Most series start strong and then lose focus along the way. However, the HBO shows on this list stand out. They don’t feel like they are figuring things out as they go. They build slowly, they follow through on their ideas, and they actually respect the time you invest in them. By the end, it feels like you have just watched something good. Let’s get into the list.

‘Deadwood’ (2004–2006)

What makes Deadwood stand out is how fully it commits to its story from the very beginning. It does not try to ease you into things or simplify anything. Instead, it drops you straight into a rough, growing town where power is still being shaped and nothing is stable. The tone of the show stays consistent throughout, which is a big reason why it never loses its grip.

The story follows figures like Seth Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) and Al Swearengen (Ian McShane), whose interests often clash as the town develops. Their interactions drive much of the tension, though the show also gives attention to the wider community. Over time, their personal relationships shift, and alliances change. Even the town slowly takes a different form. The writing, however, is complete because everything builds just naturally. Their conflicts are never forced, and the characters are allowed to grow without sudden changes in the storyline.

‘Six Feet Under’ (2001–2005)

Six Feet Under takes a very different approach, though it is just as consistent in what it sets out to do. The show talks about everyday life, but it does so through the lens of a family that runs a funeral home. From the start, it deals with heavy themes, though it presents them in a very different way that is more honest and overwhelming.

The Fisher family, including Nate (Peter Krause) and David (Michael C. Hall), steer through personal struggles while managing the business their father left behind. Each episode often begins with a death, which then connects to the emotional state of the characters. As time passes, the show builds a deeper understanding of grief, relationships, and change. The standout point of the show is how carefully it develops its characters. Their character arc is very real, their growth feels earned, and the story moves forward without losing focus.

‘Rome’ (2005–2007)

Historical shows often feel distant, but Rome keeps everything grounded in people and their choices. It does not just focus on major events. Instead, it shows how those events affect individuals who are trying to survive, gain power, or simply hold on to what they have. That balance is what keeps the show engaging from start to finish.

The story moves through the fall of the Roman Republic, following figures like Julius Caesar (Ciarán Hinds) and Mark Antony (James Purefoy), while also staying close to soldiers like Lucius Vorenus (Kevin McKidd) and Titus Pullo (Ray Stevenson). Their paths cross in ways that connect personal lives to political shifts. As power changes hands, loyalties are tested, and their consequences feel realistic. The writing stays consistent because it never loses focus on how big events shape individual lives.

‘The Leftovers’ (2014–2017)

Some shows give you clear answers, but The Leftovers works in the opposite way. It slowly builds its story around uncertainty and sticks to that idea from the very beginning to the end; nothing changes. Instead of trying to explain everything, it highlights how people react when they are left without answers. That approach gives the series a strong sense of direction, even when everything just feels unpredictable.

The series begins after a sudden event where a portion of the world’s population disappears without explanation. Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux) tries to maintain order in his town, while Nora Durst (Carrie Coon) deals with personal loss in her own way. As the story moves forward, different characters search for meaning, each in their own way. What keeps the show consistent is its focus on the emotional truth of every individual and those gray areas that do not need explanations.

Five hospitals. Five completely different ways medicine goes sideways on television — brutal, chaotic, romantic, brilliant, and ridiculous. Only one of them is the ward your instincts were built for. Eight questions will figure out exactly where you belong.

Your Assignment Has Been Made
You Belong In…

Your answers have pointed to one fictional hospital above all others. This is the ward your instincts, your temperament, and your particular brand of dysfunction were built for.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center

The Pitt

You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.

  • You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
  • You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
  • You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
  • Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.

County General Hospital, Chicago

ER

You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.

  • You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
  • You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
  • You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
  • ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle

Grey’s Anatomy

You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.

  • You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
  • Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
  • You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
  • It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ

House

You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.

  • You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
  • You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
  • Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
  • The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California

Scrubs

You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.

  • You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
  • You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
  • You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
  • Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

‘Succession’ (2018–2023)

Power struggles can easily become repetitive, but Succession keeps things sharp by constantly shifting the balance between its characters. The show starts with a clear idea, which is a family that is fighting over control of a media empire, and then it keeps finding new ways to explore that conflict without losing its focus in the middle. Every season builds on what came before, so nothing feels reset or ignored.

Logan Roy (Brian Cox) sits at the center of it all, while his children — Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin) — circle around him, each of them trying to secure their position. Alliances form and break, though the emotional damage always carries forward. The writing works because every move has a consequence, and even those consequences stay with the characters instead of randomly vanishing after a few episodes. By the end, the story feels complete because it follows its own logic all the way through without taking easy shortcuts.

‘The Sopranos’ (1999–2007)

It is easy for long-running shows to lose direction, but The Sopranos never really does. From the beginning, it knows what it wants to explore, and then it stays committed to that idea even as the story expands. The show mixes crime, family life, and personal struggle in a way that is consistent across all seasons.

Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) balances his role as a mob boss with his personal life, including his sessions with Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco). What makes the writing stand out is how it allows contradictions to exist without trying to resolve them neatly. Tony can be both controlled and impulsive, caring and destructive. He has all these realistic shades. As the story moves forward, relationships shift, though the core themes remain steady. And because of that, the show feels complete.

‘The Wire’ (2002–2008)

Michael K Williams looking to the side with a serious expression in The Wire.

The Wire is one of the best shows that stays amazing and consistent throughout, while also expanding its scope. Each season looks at a different part of the same system within the city of Baltimore, and it does not feel redundant at all, though everything connects in a way that was planned from the start. The show does not rush its storytelling, and it does not simplify complex issues.

Characters like Jimmy McNulty (Dominic West), Omar Little (Michael K. Williams), and Stringer Bell (Idris Elba) are part of a much larger picture that includes law enforcement, politics, education, and the media. As the focus shifts from one area to another, the story keeps building on previous events. Nothing is ignored, and nothing feels added just “for effect.” I felt the show to be very complete, especially in its storyline and character development. It does not change its tone or direction to chase attention, which is why it holds together so well from beginning to end.

Barbie Ferreira Reveals Cosmetic Procedures She’s Done

Published

on

Barbie Ferreira revealed all the cosmetic procedures she has — and hasn’t — tried.

Ferreira, 29, opened up about getting work done during a Friday, May 1, episode of the “In Your Dreams” podcast. While discussing turning 30, Ferreira got candid about doing “things” she’s never tried before, including using a tretinoin retinoid cream to prevent signs of aging.

“Get the tret!” Ferreira quipped to host Owen Thiele, who then asked if that was all she “does” to [her] face. I love a laser,” Ferreira shared. “I haven’t done Botox yet because I have to express a face and I’m really scared to go down that route. It’ll eventually happen.”

Thiele then pointed out that as an actress, Ferreira needs to have the ability to “emote.”
Ferreira agreed, saying, “I’m the most expressive person ever — I’m really scared of it. So what I do is, I like to do a lot of lasers like Potenza. I used to do Morpheus 8, which was crazy as a 23 year old.” (Potenza benefits the skin by booting collagen, while Morpheus 8 uses microneedling to remodel collagen, tighten the skin and contour fat.)

Barbie Ferreira is confident in her own skin and doesn’t need anyone trying to dull her shine. “To me, talking about weight loss or glowing up is so boring,” Ferreira, 29, said during a Tuesday, April 14, episode of Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “I think people are just obsessed with that […]

“That’s, like, a facelift,” Ferreira explained of the powerful laser. The Euphoria star added that because the treatment is so painful, she was offered ketamine and laughing gas. “I drove here! I’m good!” she recalled saying with a laugh.

Ferreira said that she experimented with the laser because she heard that it could remove fat from her face. “So I do Potenza now. It’s a little bit less painful,” she said.

The model previously made headlines last month for sharing her thoughts on feeling confident in her own skin. “To me, talking about weight loss or glowing up is so boring,” she said during an episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “I think people are just obsessed with that right now. It’ll be even a young person that just grows up and it’s like, ‘The glow up! Or the glow down!’ Everyone’s obsessed with that. She was 16, and now she’s 25.”

Richard Simmons’ Housekeeper Breaks Silence On Final Moments

Published

Richard Simmons

Richard Simmons’ mysterious final days are back in the spotlight, and now, someone who was there is finally speaking out. Simmons was found dead at his Los Angeles home on July 13, 2024, just one day after celebrating his 76th birthday. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Richard Simmons’ death was ruled accidental, tied to complications from recent falls, with heart disease listed as a contributing factor.

In the upcoming ABC special “The Mystery of Richard Simmons: A Diane Sawyer Special,” longtime housekeeper Teresa Reveles is sharing her account for the first time. “This is the first time I’ve spoken about it,” she said in a teaser for the documentary.

Reveles, who worked for Simmons for 35 years, was among the last people to see him alive, and the one who ultimately discovered him. “When I came here, then I saw him on the floor,” she said.

The special, led by Diane Sawyer, aims to take viewers “inside a mystery” while revisiting Simmons’ life, career, and sudden disappearance from the public eye. The documentary features interviews with those closest to him, including Rosie O’Donnell, who reflects on what made Simmons so unique. “I think he loved people back to health,” she said.

Simmons rose to fame in the late 1970s after launching his Beverly Hills fitness studio, Slimmons, which became known for its inclusive approach to exercise. By the 1980s, he was a household name thanks to his wildly popular workout videos, including “Sweatin’ to the Oldies,” which helped define home fitness culture. But after decades in the spotlight, Simmons began stepping back in the 2000s, eventually disappearing from public life entirely around 2014.

The special addresses that abrupt shift, with Sawyer questioning the length of his absence and his manager, Michael Catalano, reflecting on how things have changed. “He felt the love,” Catalano said, to which Sawyer responds, “Until he didn’t.”

“Then it just got real quiet,” Catalano added.

The documentary also explores Simmons’ upbringing, his rise to fame, and the emotional connection he built with fans over decades. It teases new revelations, including a long-awaited phone call after years of silence and intimate moments with his family, including his brother Lenny Simmons. The special ultimately aims to “pull back the curtain” on the man behind the persona, one who built a “joyful revolution” in fitness and left behind a lasting cultural impact.

And in true Simmons fashion, his humor remains part of the story. “Richard always said, ‘I don’t care if they’re laughing with me or at me. I just want them to be laughing,’” Catalano recalled. Even in his final chapter, Simmons’ legacy continues to spark curiosity, emotion, and conversation.

The trailer for the special was released to PEOPLE on Friday and opens with archival footage of Simmons himself, offering a glimpse into the mindset that made him a household name. “We’re all waiting for support from others, and sometimes we don’t get it,” he said. “That’s why God made me.”

From there, the special reflects on his early life, with a narrator asking, “How did a little boy who had to run from bullies defy the odds and become a megastar? There was only one Richard Simmons.” But the tone quickly shifts, turning to one of the biggest questions surrounding his legacy. “Then, all of a sudden, one day, he disappeared for a decade.”

For those unaware, Simmons quietly stepped away from the public eye around 2014. He stopped teaching, canceled appearances, and largely cut off communication with fans, sparking widespread concern and speculation.

For years, his absence fueled rumors about his health, well-being, and personal life, especially as someone who had built his career on connection and accessibility. Those closest to him maintained that he simply wanted privacy, but the silence only deepened the mystery.

“The Mystery of Richard Simmons: A Diane Sawyer Special” premieres May 12 on ABC, with streaming available on Disney+ and Hulu beginning May 13.

Young and the Restless Next Week: Cane Arrested & Matt’s Deadly New Scheme!

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) - Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)

Young and the Restless spoilers for next week on the CBS soap, including Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) being arrested, and we expect a couple of more arrests before the week is done. Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has a whole new murder plan he’s bringing to Genoa City.

We’re also going to talk about how Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) schemes could literally kill Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). Plus, crazy Patty pushes Victor and Diane Jenkins Abbott‘s (Susan Walters) buttons.

Patty Williams Causes Problems on Young and the Restless

So, first, let’s talk about Genoa City’s newest nutcase, Patty Williams. And this past week, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) had a very unpleasant encounter with Patty, who was blathering to him about her and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And you know, Patty thinks they belong together. Meanwhile, Jack was recovering some memories from their time on the yacht that had kind of slipped his mind.

So, he was recalling that he was trying to game Patty when they were on the boat. You know, Jack was thinking about when he said he’d give her a kiss if she gave him a tour. And he’s thinking that he might be able to flip Patty over to be loyal to him to get some payback on Victor. Cause let’s be real, Patty could cause serious problems for Victor if Jack can convince her to testify against Victor in the matter of his kidnapping.

Y&R Spoilers: Diane & Victor Annoyed

So, the week ahead, we’ve got Diane and Victor sitting at the bar at the GCAC. I don’t know if they went together or just wound up there together, griping about their spouses. And then Patty strolls up and says hello to them and asks if this day can get any better. I think that Victor is underestimating the risk that Patty poses to him as long as she’s in Genoa City because Victor already reminded Patty, don’t tell anybody they work together when he gave her that big bag of cash as payment for ripping apart Jack and Diane‘s marriage.

Multiple Arrests Coming on Young and the Restless

Now, let’s talk about Victor’s other awful antics and the one arrest that we know for sure is coming, but possibly up to three arrests. So, at the end of this week, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) met with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) because Phyllis was expecting Michael to be her attorney in case Christine Williams Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) decides to prosecute her using the faked evidence. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor also discussed that he threatened Michael. He better not represent Phyllis. But that’s exactly what Lauren expects him to do, and his wife wants him to cut ties with Victor once and for all.

So, Michael warned Phyllis that Victor is going to put her in prison. He won’t stop. Phyllis knows the evidence is fake and she told Christine that what they have against her is bogus. And the problem is Cricket told Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) that no matter what, she has to consider the evidence.

So, Victoria did deliver a stack of fake emails to Christine, who asked Victoria if she realized other people will go down with Phyllis, including her ex-husband, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who is the father of her children. And Victoria’s attitude was, “Oh well, that’s Billy’s problem.” So, Victoria lied and told Christine they found the fake evidence on the Chancellor servers.

Lily Panics on Y&R

So, next week on Young and the Restless, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is horrified when the police slap handcuffs on Cane Ashby at the GCAC, and Christine is there overseeing the arrest personally. Cane’s supposed to be heading to New York to donate bone marrow to save Malcolm’s life. So, Lily is spiraling about how this can’t be happening. And Cane vows to Lily that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), his lawyer, will get him out on bail and he’ll make sure that he gets to New York in time to donate to save Malcolm.

With Cane arrested, I suspect that means Billy, who is newly engaged to pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), is likely also going to be arrested. And if they go down, Phyllis is also likely going to be arrested, which is going to upset Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and maybe even his dad, Danny.

I’m very curious if Amanda made a backup of the AI data before she deleted it. Remember Cane told her to delete it and in the meantime, Phyllis had, you know, moved the assets, but Amanda was in charge of deleting the AI. So, she might actually have evidence against Victor because honestly, the man needs a huge slap from karma for everything he has done.

So, we got one confirmed arrest, likely more than that. And with Malcolm’s life on the line, I wonder if Victoria is going to show any humanity at all and for once not enable her father. I kind of doubt it. But Johnny and Katie may not be happy with her. I also wonder if Sally being pregnant causes Victoria any crisis of conscience.

Matt Clark’s New Murder Plan on Young and the Restless

And now let’s talk about Matt Clark’s new murder plan. So, it turns out Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) really thought she killed Matt, but she did not get the job done. But hey, gave it the old college try, right? By the end of this week, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is asking Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to try and get Sienna to tell her what exactly happened with Matt. Cause it looks like Sienna is freaking out. She’s shutting down. She is scared she’s going to be arrested for killing Matt.

And Noah promises it won’t happen. And then Sharon questions Sienna, who says she tried to talk Matt out of hurting the Newmans. She was trying to talk him out of blowing up the gas station, but he did it anyway. And Sienna kind of freaked out, sort of blacked out, and then next thing she knew, Matt was lying on the ground, not moving.

And Sienna swears that Matt was definitely dead. Obviously, she did it. But Sharon insists that Matt hasn’t turned up dead yet. So, nobody’s found a body. So, Sienna is yelling by the end of this week, insisting that Matt’s dead. And because she’s freaking out, Sharon can’t get any more details out of her.

Y&R Spoilers: Nick’s Still in Trouble

Also, on Friday, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) confessed to Victor that he’s hooked on fentanyl. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) says Nick’s been going to meetings. They all seem to think, “Oh, he’s got this. He’ll be fine.” Nobody, not Victor and not Adam, so far have mentioned Nick needs rehab. So, I’m guessing the addiction story is not quite done. You don’t just walk off a cocaine and fentanyl addiction like it’s nothing. So, Matt may yet to get to see what he wants, which is Nick even deeper into addiction.

Meanwhile, on Friday’s episode, Matt woke up in the desert with a head wound that’s bloody. And in the week of May 4th through the 8th on Young and the Restless, we’ve got Sienna’s toxic husband crawling out of the sand and into a diner. And Matt asked the waitress how far is he from this place?

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Matt’s on Way Back to GC

And he shows the girl a card from the GCAC. So, that means that Matt is about to be on his way to Genoa City. And I’m sure his plan is to kill his wife Sienna for nearly murdering him. I’m betting Matt’s new murder plan is a lot like his old murder plan and also involves killing Noah. And that means Sharon and Nick and Adam also need to watch out, probably Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as well and probably Victor also needs to worry. So, Matt’s going to be in town soon wreaking havoc as we get deeper into May sweeps.

I will say that the Newmans may suspect that Sienna lied about killing Matt, but at this point I tend to think she really believes that she killed him, but she was kind of in shock and denial. So, Y&R is absolutely getting wild next week and the second full week of May sweeps with arrests and not so dead people crawling back into town. Be sure to check out our full weekly spoilers for May 4th through the 8th, our weekly predictions, two week spoilers, and lots more.

Lizzo Faces Heat Over New Song After String Of Flops

Published

on

Lizzo at the Los Angeles World Premiere Of 'Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir'

Lizzo is gearing up for the release of a brand-new album, “B-TCH,” set for June 2026. However, after facing accusations from her dancers, the pop songstress has failed to match the commercial success of her previous releases. This includes scrapping a previously planned album. Now, she’s released the title track from the upcoming LP, but social media is rejecting it, calling it yet another flop.

Lizzo released the title track from her new album on May 1. Notably, this comes after the previous track from the album, “Don’t Make Me Love You,” has failed to gain traction on the charts in most parts of the world, especially the U.S.

The songstress took to X to share a snippet of the song’s music video. She said in the caption, “This song is dedicated to the women who get called a b-tch for having boundaries, for being sexual, for speaking up for themselves, for working hard and owning businesses… If we don’t smile and perform all the time, we’re ‘ungrateful.’ If we run a strict program, we’re ‘mean.’”

The music video is shot in black and white, featuring Lizzo with several dancers, all wearing black. Notably, the song interpolates Meredith Brooks‘ 1997 anthem of the same name.

Unfortunately for Lizzo, the fans who replied to her X post weren’t pleased with the song, with some even mentioning the allegations made by her dancers. One person said, “Girl, how many ‘anthems’ are you gonna pull out of your a-s? Weren’t you a rapper? I guess that was only for an award.”

Someone else quoted Nicki Minaj, writing, “Hang it up, flat screen.” They then included a GIF of a person doing that very thing. After that, a different X user alluded to her string of failed singles, saying, “Must’ve run out of Velcro cause uhh..Ain’t nothing sticking.”

A different social media user stated, “This sounds really corny, Lizzo. This I’m a thing was everywhere in the Obama administration, and people hated it. Now you reheat it?”

However, it seems fans on Instagram are a bit more welcoming despite some criticism. One person said on the platform, “Welcome back to the top.”

Ahead of the release of the new single, Lizzo took to social media. Not only did the “Juice” singer celebrate her birthday, but she also shared her album cover. She said in the caption, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! To celebrate, I present to you  — MY NEW ALBUM [is] COMING JUNE 5TH. Wanna get me a gift? Pre-order my album, baby!!!!” Lizzo then shared a link for fans to preorder the album.

Lizzo announced plans for a new studio album in early 2025. The first taste of the new project, a song called “Love in Real Life,” was released in February. The song failed to make a significant impact, and she later released “Still Bad” in March of that year. It enjoyed a bit more commercial success but didn’t come close to becoming the radio hit that major record labels sought before releasing albums.

Then, in September, she spoke to New York Magazine, saying that despite the album being complete, she was unsure if she’d release it. According to Lizzo, “By 2025, I’ve changed, the world has changed so much, and so much has happened.”

She said, regarding the album, “It just wasn’t what I was feeling right now. I was like, ‘I need to do s–t differently, and I don’t know what it is, but I’m going to just start following my instincts.’”

Lizzo appeared on “CBS Mornings” on May 1 to promote “B-TCH.” During the conversation with Gayle King, she was asked what people don’t understand about it. The Yitty founder said, “I think there’s a long list. I think I might be one of the most misunderstood.”

After that, she stated that the public doesn’t understand that she’s “always trying to help.” Lizzo also said that people “tone police” her. She added, “Once I realized that that’s how people are going to take it, I just stopped. I’ll just put it in the music.”

Jayda Cheaves Addresses Accutane & TikTok Criticism

In the clip shared to her TikTok, Jayda stitched a video of a user—who appeared partially off-camera and in bed—questioning what happened to her face while also commenting on aging. The moment didn’t sit well with Jayda, who responded with a pointed “and you ’bout to be a nurse?” paired with a stank face, while recording from her luxury bathroom in a black tank top with hair clips in.

Jayda also went on to explain that she’s currently on Accutane, which she says is helping clear her adult hormonal acne. However, she admits that it comes with noticeable side effects. Jayda shared that she started the medication in January and emphasized that she believes in being open about her skin journey, even on days when things don’t look perfect, because she still shows up online with confidence and self-love.

The Internet Is Clearly Being Nosey In TSR Comments

As soon as the clip hit timelines, folks ran straight to TSR’s Instagram comment section to weigh in with their unfiltered takes. Some called out the nurse in the video for hiding her face while coming for Jayda. While others were quick to gas Jayda up, saying she’s still that girl regardless of what people say. Meanwhile, a portion of users pushed back on the negativity altogether, reminding everyone that people should be a lot kinder when commenting on others’ looks online.

One Instagram user @jniceofficial_ said, “Everybody’s clear skin journey is different. She’s doing what works for her. Next and skin actually looks tea 😍”

Jayda Addresses Emotional Struggles In New Message

This isn’t the first that Jayda has kept it real with her supporters. As previously reported, Jayda opened up while wearing a white headband and speaking directly to the camera about the state of her relationships and the emotional toll behind them.

She reflected on how some connections have felt more transactional than genuine, admitting that her naturally giving nature has often left her feeling taken advantage of. Fighting back tears, she also took accountability for her experiences, saying, “I fault myself 100% because I allowed these things to continuously happen,” a moment that quickly struck a chord online as she reminded viewers she’s been transparent about this journey before.

10

It’s the final moment. Everything is on the line. What do you need from your partner right now?
The last question is the most honest one.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Other Films To Watch If You Like ‘San Andreas’

Before San Andreas entered theaters, there were discussions about what if the fault line were to shift. The film showcases one disastrous version of what could happen if that day were to come, and those depictions were criticized by reviewers and seismologists who went out of their way to separate fact from fiction.

San Andreas is one of many films that attempted to showcase a heavily discussed natural disaster scenario, and there are other titles worth watching that fit the bill. One notable example is 2012, a film that dramatizes the 2012 phenomenon, where it’s predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012. Another film worth watching that you might not have heard of is Pandora. This 2016 South Korean disaster film, inspired by the 2011 Fukushima Nuclear Accident, but set in a Korean town, follows power plant worker Kang Jae-hyeok (Kim Nam-gil) as he attempts to save lives after an earthquake triggers a nuclear meltdown.

San Andreas is now streaming on Tubi.

Kylie Jenner Hit With Second Lawsuit From Ex-Housekeeper

Published

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is facing mounting legal pressure after a second former household employee filed a lawsuit against her. The new complaint alleges inhumane working conditions, racial discrimination, harassment, and wage violations.

The legal drama comes as Jenner continues to make headlines for her high-profile relationship with Timothée Chalamet. The pair were recently spotted courtside in New York, fueling ongoing engagement rumors, even as sources suggest Jenner may not be rushing toward marriage.

Jenner is facing another lawsuit from a former household employee, adding to mounting legal pressure surrounding her working environment.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Juana Delgado Soto has filed a lawsuit against Jenner and multiple other entities. The complaint alleges racial discrimination, harassment, and unfair labor practices during Soto’s time working for the reality star.

Soto claims she began working for Jenner in 2019 and was initially subjected to denied rest breaks and missed meal periods. However, she alleges the situation escalated in 2023 when Sibrian became her supervisor.

In the filing, Soto accuses Sibrian of repeatedly treating her with disrespect, including mocking her accent and humiliating her in the workplace. She says she reported the behavior to human resources, which led to Sibrian’s temporary removal.

Housekeeper Claims She Tried To Warn Jenner

Soto claims she attempted to bring the alleged mistreatment directly to Jenner, but the situation only escalated. According to the lawsuit, Sibrian allegedly retaliated against her by reducing her wages, increasing her workload, and altering her schedule.

Soto also claims she was denied time to mourn her brother’s death and missed a planned birthday celebration due to work demands.

In April 2025, Soto says she wrote a letter to Jenner describing what she called unbearable treatment and slipped it into a massage room the beauty mogul was scheduled to use. However, instead of relief, she claims she was threatened with termination.

Kylie Jenner Not Named Directly In Claims

Despite the disturbing allegations, the lawsuit does not make direct claims against Jenner personally. Soto alleges the conditions continued to deteriorate, claiming she was given restricted bathroom access, forced to clean Jenner’s doghouse, and even barred from drinking water while on duty.

Unable to endure the situation any longer, she says she resigned via text in August 2025.

“I am sorry, I cannot do this anymore. Every day you guys mistreat me, and I have bitten all my nails off. I cannot sleep at night, and I always have anxiety because of the way you guys treat me,” the lawsuit quotes.

The latest case comes just weeks after another former housekeeper filed a similar complaint against Jenner, alleging she was treated “with hostility and exclusion,” per PEOPLE.

Jenner Steps Out With Chalamet

Amid the legal drama, Jenner has continued to step out with Chalamet. The couple has been drawing attention in recent months, from her support of the actor during awards season to their PDA-filled moments at Coachella.

Most recently, they were spotted courtside in New York on Tuesday as they watched the New York Knicks take on the Atlanta Hawks, with Chalamet cheering on his home team.

Kylie Jenner ‘Not Ready’ For Marriage With Chalamet

Despite their relationship heating up, Jenner is reportedly not in a rush to walk down the aisle with Chalamet. Rumors of a possible engagement have been swirling, but sources claim she is hesitant about taking that step anytime soon.

“Timothée has talked about proposing to Kylie, but she doesn’t want to get married, at least not yet,” an insider told the Daily Mail, adding that she believes relationships can change after marriage.

The report also claims Chalamet has been seeking advice from Jenner’s inner circle, including her mother Kris Jenner and sister Kendall Jenner, on how to win her over. Another source noted that the couple is currently enjoying their relationship while balancing their careers and business ventures.

Still, Jenner’s family is said to be fully on board with the romance, with insiders claiming they would love to see the pair tie the knot sooner rather than later. According to the report, Chalamet has already grown close to Jenner’s children, Stormi and Aire, and is considered “very involved,” with her family reportedly embracing him as one of their own.
