Amanda Kloots Confirms Split From Justin Gimelstob

Amanda Kloots and Justin Gimelstob have called it quits after just over a year of dating.

Kloots, 44, confirmed in an interview with Page Six on Wednesday, September 9, that she is no longer seeing the former tennis player.

“No, not currently [together], but we’re still very good friends,” the former Talk cohost said.

Despite the split, Kloots told the outlet, “I believe in love. I definitely want that in my life.”

For now, however, the former professional dancer and fitness instructor is focusing on parenting her 7-year-old son, Elvis, whom she shares with her late husband, Nick Cordero. The Broadway actor died at age 41 in 2020 following COVID-19-related complications.

“Right now I’ve really just been focused on work and Elvis and myself and just making sure I’m the best version of me,” Kloots said. “It’s been very good and healing and rewarding, so that’s where I’m at right now.”

Kloots and Gimelstob, 49, first went public in April 2025 when they made their red carpet debut at a cancer awareness event at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

“[Amanda’s] a special lady,” Gimelstob exclusively shared with Us at “An Unforgettable Evening,” benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, at the time. “I think it’s cliche, but just how she prioritizes her people and obviously all this and everything she’s been through — how much grace and kindness [and generosity] she shows.”

Gimelstob also acknowledged Kloots’ late husband, Cordero, adding, “They had such a beautiful relationship, and I only have admiration for the relationship they had. I just support [Amanda] and obviously the baby is such a sweet boy.”

Speaking exclusively to Us in 2021, Kloots opened up about navigating grief and being a single parent after Cordero’s death.

“A lot of people have said to me, ‘It gets easier [and] time helps,’ and I don’t know if I found that yet,” she told Us at the time. “I still pretty much cry every day. It’s growing pains.”

She added, “With Elvis, like there’s so many things that he does or there’s times in life that you just wish your person was there to celebrate with. And I think that that’s where it’s harder because you miss your person so much.”

At the time, Kloots said she was “doing everything I possibly can to stay healthy and active and happy. And you know, grief is a process … Everybody does it differently.”
