The 2010s were the golden age of streaming. It seemed like a new streaming platform launched every day. The reality is very different now, with some services discontinued, others reorganized, and some bundled to better appeal to subscribers. Since its debut on November 1, 2019, Apple TV has weathered all the storms of streaming and carved a niche for itself. Still, Apple TV has its limitations. As part of a tech conglomerate, the streamer has had to prove itself to the industry and subscribers who were initially skeptical.
The streamer is known for its ability to adapt books into polished sci-fi and thriller shows. Shows like For All Mankind, Hijack, and Widow’s Bay have eased those fears. In recent years, the service has experimented more with comedies and genre-bending shows, and those experiments have paid off. Apple TV is giving dominant streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max a run for their money, especially in major awards. In this year’s Emmys, the streamer took home more Emmys than Netflix for the first time ever. However, Apple TV is also limited in availability, and while it has done well in the markets where it’s available, it is yet to properly compete with global powerhouses like Netflix and Prime Video.
Apple’s recent move positions the service well in the global streaming market. Apple TV has officially expanded its availability to more countries beginning this September. While unveiling iCloud+ to over 100 countries globally, Apple has now introduced Apple TV to 59 more countries, bringing its availability to 179 countries and territories worldwide. This puts the service close to competitors like Netflix, which is available in 190 countries, and Prime Video, available in 240 countries and territories. iCloud+ bundles together cloud storage, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade for as little as $0.99. This rollout primarily targets low-income and/or low-adoption countries, giving them access to 50 GB of cloud storage, the Apple TV Originals library, hundreds of free games without in-app purchases, and a lower Apple Music subscription cost.

You want the sea, a crew, and absolutely nobody telling you where
you are allowed to go. The Grand Line is the world for people whose main ambition in life is
finding out what is over there.
One Piece has run for decades on one very simple engine, which is a group of people who
each want something impossible and have decided to go and get it together.
You collect people. Your ideal crew is a set of misfits who were each written off
somewhere else before you turned up and offered them a better idea.
The world is enormous and deliberately ridiculous, and the emotional gut punches land
harder because of that rather than in spite of it.
You would set sail knowing the map runs out, which is more or less the entire point of
it.

The Continent
You would rather be feared and useful than liked and useless. The
Continent is a world where the monsters are the straightforward part of the job and the
people are where it all gets complicated.
Witchers get paid to do what nobody else will and resented for existing at all, which is
a trade most people would refuse and you would probably accept.
You have no real illusions about which side is the good one, largely because on the
Continent that question tends to have a disappointing answer.
The best of these stories are not about the fighting. They are about somebody with a
rigid code being repeatedly cornered into caring about people.
You would take the coin, finish the job properly, and be out of town before the story
got told wrong.

Camp Half-Blood
You want the myths to be real and loose in the actual world, and
you want to find out at about thirteen that you were never anywhere near as ordinary as
everybody kept telling you.
Percy Jackson takes the oldest stories we have and drops them into car parks and diners,
which makes the gods considerably funnier and a great deal worse.
You would be the kid every school gave up on, who turns out to have been built for
something nobody thought to test for.
The series is genuinely about friendship rather than destiny, and it says so out loud
every time a prophecy tries to get in the way.
Camp Half-Blood is the real fantasy here: a place where the thing that made you
difficult everywhere else is the thing that makes you belong.

Where Is Apple TV Expanding To Now?
Countries benefiting include Barbados, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Qatar, and more. The US, EU, Canada, and other countries not on the official list are not eligible for the offer. However, residents of these countries could also benefit indirectly, especially when traveling, because they no longer need a VPN or to pause their Apple TV shows. The rollout has already begun and will continue throughout September. This move lets Apple TV’s shows reach more people and cements it as a premium destination for entertainment.
