Bethenny Frankel Not Returning For ‘RHONY’ Reunion To ‘Protect My Peace’
A majority of the original cast members from Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York” plan to reunite on a rival network for a new series titled “The Golden Life, except for Bethenny Frankel.
Bethenny Frankel starred in “Real Housewives of New York” seasons 1 through 3 before returning for seasons 7 through 11. Since departing the series, Frankel has been open about her frustration with the show and even got into a public argument with host and Bravo figurehead Andy Cohen.

Bethenny Frankel Is Not Returning To The ‘RHONY’ Reunion
Bethenny Frankel says she has made a conscious effort to protect her peace, which is why she would not be part of the new The Golden Life series featuring the OG #RHONY women, though she did confirm she was asked.

In a video shared online, Frankel discussed the upcoming spin-off, “Golden Life,” which is set to air on E!. “I’m so happy for the women, and I’m happy for [the network],” she said, calling the move “disruptive” and “business.”
As for her participation in the series, Frankel told her followers to count her out. “So, I have made a conscious effort to protect my peace,” she said. “I’m really happy, I’m really settled.”
The “Bethenny” host said she’s been approached about doing other shows, but she’s declined because she’s not “interested” in taking on work that would “take time away from protecting my peace.”

Bethenny Frankel Clarifies That She Was Asked To Join The ‘RHONY’ Reboot

According to a previous report from The Blast, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan will join forces for an epic new series, years after their departure from the “RHONY.”
The new series will be filmed in Florida, and the synopsis teased fun and drama.
“In this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene. With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones,” it read before sharing the group would have to face “unresolved drama” from years prior.
In her video, Frankel said she was asked to join the series but declined because the “specific formula” doesn’t work best for her.

Bethenny Frankel Wants The New ‘RHONY’ Reunion To Succeed

While she remains separate from the project, Frankel conveyed her excitement and hopes for the success of those involved.
Cohen, too, spoke about his excitement for the women, admitting that while they weren’t working with Bravo, he was “so excited for them.”
Elaborating on his radio show, according to The Blast, Cohen said the series would be “great” and that he held no hard feelings against them.

Frankel Has Previously Slammed The ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise
I think we need more stories about women trashing women…Or….we can publish a book about it? Is that a good idea? #2021 PS. I’ve had my regrettable moments but capitalizing on our weaknesses? That’s “rich”….literally #WomenSupportingWomen lol
— Bethenny Frankel (@Bethenny) October 26, 2021
Since exiting the “Real Housewives” franchise, Frankel has frequently voiced her strong opinions regarding the series. In 2021, she slammed the franchise’s tell-all book, “Not All Diamonds and Rosé,” for “trashing women.”
In a separate interview, Frankel implied that the franchise’s ratings were slipping because of the show’s confrontational nature.
“The ratings overall in television have never been higher and perhaps the ratings on ‘Real Housewives’ aren’t doing well because it’s sort of not maybe the content that is inspiring people to do what they need to do right now,” she said. “Or maybe they want to watch the news or something uplifting or some way to pay it forward.”

Frankel And Cohen Got Into It Over Previous Comments

In 2022, Frankel debuted her “ReWives” podcast and announced she’d be revisiting prior seasons of “RHONY.”
When Frankel texted Cohen about the series when it launched, the mother of one said Cohen replied, allegedly saying he was “glad to see you embracing the Housewives.”
His comments seemed at odds with what he said about Frankel on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” where he noted her history of criticizing the series as “toxic.”
Frankel clapped back at Cohen, saying she’s allowed to have strong feelings about the series and also be thankful for the opportunities it afforded her.
“I’m glad that I’m not there [but] I also do get the right to talk about because I did it for a quarter of my life,” she said.

Every Taylor Sheridan Show, Ranked From Worst to Best
Although Taylor Sheridan began his career as an actor, audiences today know him best for his screenwriting, particularly his modern take on the Western, such as the hit drama Yellowstone. The Yellowstone universe continues to expand—it’s already led to two spinoffs, with more in the works, including the forthcoming The Madison. In addition to his TV work, Sheridan is also known for his film career, which includes his “Modern America Frontier” trilogy of Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River.
Sheridan hasn’t just found success with Yellowstone, however. His other dramas, such as Mayor of Kingstown, have also been praised by fans and critics alike. Similar themes can be found throughout his work, most notably that of family dynasties, but no matter the story, Sheridan has proven his ability to tell compelling stories centered around a particular place. Taken together, his television projects form a sprawling body of work that reflects a clear creative voice that continues to keep his fans excited.
9
‘The Last Cowboy’ (2019–Present)
In the competition docuseries The Last Cowboy, a number of contestants train horses in reining by guiding them through a series of obstacles, all leading up to the Run for a Million. The arena-based competition, created by Sheridan in 2019, sees the riders competing to win $1 million. The series also highlights professional trainers, judging criteria, and the rigorous preparation required to compete at the highest level of the sport.
Sheridan is practically regarded as a modern-day cowboy thanks to his work in neo-Westerns, so it’s no surprise that he took elements of the genre to the world of reality TV. While that means The Last Cowboy is not as heavy on the drama and twists as his scripted series, it still provides an interesting inside look at the world of reining competitions and the work it takes to successfully train a horse and win the prize.

‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ (2023–Present)
Set just after the Civil War, Lawmen: Bass Reeves tells the story of one of the first Black deputy U.S. marshals west of the Mississippi River, Bass Reeves (David Oyelowo), who began life enslaved. Lawmen is based on a true story of Reeves, who was responsible for arresting thousands of criminals and became one of the most respected lawmen of his era. The series traces Reeves’ rise as he enforces the law across dangerous and largely ungoverned territory.
Oyelowo is fantastic as he introduces modern audiences to Reeves and helps convey what he accomplished in his storied career—although Lawmen doesn’t quite live up to its immense potential. With its Western setting and plot, it’s no wonder Sheridan is involved; the series is distinctly separate from the Yellowstone universe, even though it fits right in. The themes will also be familiar to Sheridan fans, particularly the theme of justice.
7
‘Special Ops: Lioness’ (2023–Present)
CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) balances her personal and professional lives in the spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness in her work as a leader of the Lioness program in the war on terror. Nicole Kidman also stars as Joe’s boss, Kaitlyn Meade, and also features Morgan Freeman. The series is based on an actual military program, drawing inspiration from real-world operations in which female operatives are embedded undercover to gather intelligence in places male agents cannot easily access.
Lioness unsurprisingly won fans over quickly. It’s an engaging, fast-paced series, and similar to Sheridan’s other work, the show features plenty of high-stakes twists. For the most part, however, it stands out as a very different show, leaning more heavily into modern espionage and global politics than the frontier-style power struggles that define much of Sheridan’s other work. But with a female-centered story, it still presents something different from familiar espionage plots.
6
‘Tulsa King’ (2022–Present)
After 25 years in prison, New York mafia boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is released and sent to Tulsa, where he begins to build a new criminal empire in Tulsa King. Cut off from his old power base, Dwight recruits local allies and expands his operation while navigating unfamiliar territory and rival interests.
Tulsa King has been a fan favorite and has continued Sheridan’s trend of creating beloved dramas, and it also continues his trend of interesting characters and moral ambiguity. Dwight’s great all on his own, and the show’s villains only make things better. The show also features the same grit that can be found in much of Sheridan’s other work. Stallone’s commanding presence anchors the series and gives it a distinct tone within Sheridan’s broader television slate.
5
‘Mayor of Kingstown’ (2021–Present)
Crime drama Mayor of Kingstown stars Jeremy Renner as the fixer and head of the McLusky family—who run Kingstown’s prison system—and tries to keep the peace in town. His role places him at the center of negotiations between inmates, law enforcement, gangs, and politicians, all while violence threatens to erupt at any moment. Sheridan co-created the series with Hugh Dillon, who also draws on his own experiences to help shape the show’s tone.
Mayor of Kingstown’s focus on the prison system in particular allows it to take a close look at issues such as systemic racism, corruption and more, including the problems inherent with the prison system functioning as a business. The show features intense storylines and interesting characters, or, as Renner himself puts it, “everyman characters in extraordinary circumstances.” Like some of Sheridan’s other projects—most notably Yellowstone—the series also deals with family dynamics, especially when business is involved.
4
‘1923’ (2022–Present)
1923 follows the Dutton family—here, Jacob (Harrison Ford) and Cara (Helen Mirren)—into the 20th century with all the challenges the era brings, from the Depression to Prohibition and more, all while the ranch faces problems of drought, cattle theft, and more. The family must also fend off rival ranchers and powerful figures trying to take control of their land. Like 1883, the series is narrated by Elsa Dutton (Isabel May).
While not as interesting as 1883 or Yellowstone, 1923 tells an entertaining story in its own right. By being set in a different era, the series is open to numerous storytelling possibilities, which it takes full advantage of while also moving ever closer to the current generation of the Dutton family. Ford and Mirren deliver the exact stellar performances audiences have come to expect of them, and they’re a delight to watch as they set the stage for the Dutton family to come.
3
‘Landman’ (2024–2025)
If there’s one state that Taylor Sheridan is very familiar with, it’s Texas, especially West Texas; and what’s not to like about the rugged, beautiful land? This land serves as the backdrop for Landman, which is based on the Boomtown podcast produced by the state magazine, Texas Monthly. Landman follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), an oil “Landman” for a large oil company, not from round’ those parts, who comes to the oilfields of West Texas to investigate a deadly accident.
Landman showcases just how far oil companies are willing to go to cover up accidents at the expense of the public. As Tommy digs deeper, he uncovers corporate corruption, dangerous shortcuts, and mounting pressure from executives determined to protect profits at all costs. Not only is the story gripping, but the cast, which includes Demi Moore in a standout role as Cami Miller, is what truly makes Landman a must-watch and one of Sheridan’s best.
2
‘1883’ (2021)
As the first spinoff of Yellowstone, prequel miniseries 1883 followed an earlier generation of the Dutton family as they left behind poverty in Texas in the years after the Civil War and joined a wagon chain heading for Oregon. The family ultimately settled in Montana and began what would become John Dutton’s ranch in Yellowstone. James and Margaret Dutton were played by real-life country music couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
1883 was one of the strongest of Sheridan’s shows, especially among the others in the Yellowstone universe. Its more focused approach to storytelling made it easier to care about the characters and what they accomplished, on top of being a fascinating look at the beginnings of the Dutton family and the way we know them today. The series also featured Tom Hanks in a memorable cameo during a flashback sequence.
1
‘Yellowstone’ (2018–2024)
Neo-Western drama Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family, who controls the largest ranch in the United States and is often in conflict with everyone from land developers to neighboring Native American tribes because of it. Those battles force the family to defend their land through political pressure, legal fights, and outright violence.
Yellowstone was a huge success for Sheridan, turning into one of the most-watched cable dramas of its era and cementing his place as a dominant force in television.. The compelling series kept viewers hooked with plenty of twists and turns, not to mention plenty of drama from the Dutton family, and while the family’s exploits can sometimes get a little over-the-top, they’re still entertaining to watch. Yellowstone is also notable for its gorgeous scenery, practically a character in itself. Taken as a whole, Yellowstone stands as Taylor Sheridan’s best and most defining work to date.

Patriots Wide Receiver Kyle Williams Tackles Streaker During Super Bowl 60
Kyle Williams typically isn’t tasked with making tackles on the field, but he was in Super Bowl LX.
The New England Patriots wide receiver had to take down a fan who went streaking on the field during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 60 on Sunday, February 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
According to a video from MassLive reporter Mark Daniels, the streaker made his way onto the field and was quickly chased by at least four security guards.
After they couldn’t catch him, Williams took control, sprinting nearly 25 yards down the field to make the tackle.
The incident didn’t affect gameplay, as it was quickly handled.
The Seattle Seahawks went on to win the game, 29-13, for its second Super Bowl championship in franchise history (the Seahawks also won Super Bowl XLVIII in 2013).
Seattle never trailed in the game, pitching a shutout through the first three quarters. The Patriots finally found the end zone early in the fourth quarter, but the Seahawks already had a sizable lead.

Bad Bunny highlighted the halftime performance during the game, saying “God Bless America” in a set which paid tribute to his Puerto Rican roots.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper brought out a plethora of celebrities to participate in his performance, including Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, who both sang during the show.
Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G, Jessica Alba and Alix Earle were also included in the performance.
Bad Bunny finished his set with a unifying message to the audience. “The only thing more powerful than hate is love,” a billboard displayed on the Levi’s Stadium jumbotron read at the end of the set.
While the reviews for Bad Bunny’s performance were mixed, country singer Kacey Musgraves shared her positive review of the show, while taking a shot at Kid Rock.
Rock was headlining the alternative Turning Point USA All-American Halftime Show at the same time as Bad Bunny’s performance.
“Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done,” Musgraves wrote via X on Sunday, after watching Bad Bunny’s performance.
On the other hand, President Donald Trump was quick to show his disgust for the show on social media, after claiming previously that he wasn’t going to watch.
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Trump, 71, posted on Truth Social just minutes after the show concluded. “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”
He continued, “This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe Tearfully Recounts Suffering Most Epic Breakdown
Bachelor Nation star Kaitlyn Bristowe alarmed fans after sharing candid insight into her headspace.
Bristowe, 40, took to Instagram on Sunday, February 8, to share a series of disturbing images including a candle smashed on the ground, herself in a medical gown and her face drenched in tears. She captioned the carousel, which disabled comments, with an equally cryptic yet emotional message.
“Humor helps, and I believe I have been handling a lot with grace, but … I have to be honest. I’m feeling really down, challenged, stuck, and hard on myself. I just had the most epic breakdown,” she wrote. “Not looking for sympathy, just sharing. I’ll come out of it.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Bristowe for comment.
The post arrived just hours after the reality TV star, who rose to fame as a contestant on Chris Soule’s season of The Bachelor in 2015, shared an upbeat Instagram video that captured her dancing amid a travel mishap. “When border control quietly deducts 10 days from your work visa and now you’re forced to leave the country. Jazz hands anyway,” she wrote over the earlier video.
“And I just got my power back. See you soon Toronto,” she continued. “Missing a wedding and 8 podcasts, but if anyone needs me I’ll be dancing through the curveball.”
The earlier post invited comments from fans, who took to the section to share their sympathy. “You always make the best out of a s***ty situation,” wrote one fan, while another wrote, “Omg you poor thing. I love you for your attitude though.”
Bristowe is no stranger to sharing cryptic hints at her personal life. While rumors of a romance between her and fellow Bachelor Nation alum Zac Clark have swirled for two years, Bristowe shared a public tribute to Clark, 42, via Instagram in January. After Clark shared a carousel of photos that celebrated his recent birthday, one of which captured him hugging a birthday cake that read “F*** fruit,” Bristowe brought Clark down a peg by commenting, “Natures candy. Weirdo. Happy birthday.”
Despite her playful social media activity, Bristowe is not likely to be sharing any official relationship details any time soon. She told Us Weekly in August 2025 that she’s keeping her love life under wraps. “Privacy is so hot, like, I am turned on by being private. There’s something really special and sacred about it,” Bristowe told Us. “Obviously, I had two very public relationships, and I’m an over-sharer and an open book, and it’s very hard to not share certain things of my life, but it feels so right. Relationships from Bachelor franchise or people online, like, it starts to feel a bit performative at times. And I feel like that was where it was going for me last time, and it did not feel good.”
Bristowe had been referring to her engagement to Shawn Booth, whom she met as the Bachelorette and was with for three years, as well as her engagement to Bachelorette contestant, Jason Tartick, which ended in August 2023.
