Big Brother’s Angela Reveals What She’d Change About Her Game
Angela Murray is looking back on what she should have done differently to save herself from her recent eviction from the Big Brother house.
“I think if I had to say anything that I could do differently, it would be in the final two to three days, and of my time in the house, and that would have been to read the room,” Angela, 52, exclusively told Us on Friday, September 11. “[I] knew something was going on.”
While Angela was aligned with Survivor alums Rick Devens and Dee Valladares throughout the game, she could tell their demeanours were different after they were all put on the block by Barrett Pfeiffer.
“Devens was acting way too cool, and I felt something was off with Dee. If I could have read the room,” she reflected about the shift in energy. “I even told her ‘[Devens] wants to keep you over me.’ I knew that. I knew that she was his number one.”
Angela admitted that she should have taken the time to pitch her case to Yash Patel and Taylor Brown — who ended up being the deciding votes.
“I wish that I had gone to Taylor and Yash and told them that I’m due for an HoH. I wish I had said, ‘I’ll help you.’ I did say that, but I wish I had said things like Devens and Dee are not going to take out the boys. They’re not. They’re only putting on this big elaborate show. They’re fooling you. They actually want you guys out,” she said. “If I had said that, I could have maybe stayed, and I thought about that all night last night as I was leaving the house.”
Angela wishes she would “have been a little sneaky” and “set a different tone in motion.” However, it might have been a hard sell compared to how Dee, 29, pitched herself to stay.

“It’s very clear why the house kept Dee over me because she was acting like a killer,” she told Us. “Like she said in her speech — and she had been saying it all week long, ‘I’m gonna help you get out those boys,’ meaning Drew [Campbell] and Barrett.”
Angela knows all too well that Dee “has a history of winning and being very good” at games so the Survivor 45 winner’s argument was something she would “be able to deliver on that promise.”
While Angela knows she would have had to convince Yash, 24, and Taylor, 27, to flip their votes, she couldn’t see herself being loyal to them.
“I didn’t have that energy in me. I didn’t give that. I played very undertone because if I were to stay, I would have wanted Barrett and Drew to not be [targeted]. I didn’t want to be a threat to them,” she admitted. “I could either go with Yash and Taylor or I could go with Barrett and Drew. That was kind of my strategy of staying a little bit more even keel with that.”

Angela was no stranger to the Big Brother house as she was a fan favorite during her first time playing in season 26. However, viewers got to see the evolution of Angela this year.
“Playing Big Brother this season compared to my first, I think there are a lot of changes,” she told Us. “There’s some familiar things because you know I’m Angela. I’m who I am, and I’m gonna play the way I want to play. And I play with my heart. I play with my gut. I always felt like I did have good reads in both seasons.”
The real estate agent continued, “I think the thing that’s different the most is that I strategized. I had multiple alliances, and I paid attention. And when I saw that there was going to be a divide starting in the house, and I was watching some of the heavy hitters puff out their chest, and I pointed out to them that there was this divide starting, and I was also kind of guiding that kind of divide and planting seeds. I created Big Brother from the get-go, and I think that is the difference.”

‘Bosch’ Meets ‘Yellowstone’ in Taylor Sheridan’s 8-Part American Western Officially Dominating Paramount+
Few writers and producers have been as busy this year as Taylor Sheridan, but that doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering he’s balancing so many projects. Not only is Sheridan continuing to expand the Yellowstone universe with spin-offs like Marshals and Dutton Ranch, but he’s also working on seasons of new shows like Tulsa King and Landman. Sheridan is also getting back into the screenwriting business with some of his new projects, including his new Sicario-style action thriller, F.A.S.T., and his Call of Duty movie with director Peter Berg. Sheridan has developed an almost unprecedented audience in recent years, and although he’s leaving Paramount in favor of NBCUniversal in a few years, meaning his shows will soon stream on Peacock, it’s expected that most of his fans will have no trouble making the move to a different platform.
While Yellowstone or Tulsa King may be the first show that comes to mind when you think of Taylor Sheridan, he has written and produced other iconic Westerns over the years that you may not realize he was attached to. One of such stories is Lawmen: Bass Reeves, which was written and created for TV by Chad Feehan but produced by Taylor Sheridan, who also gave insight into the story and creative direction. Sheridan and Feehan reunited earlier this year for the first season of Dutton Ranch, but Feehan has since been dismissed as the showrunner for Season 2, with Benjamin Cavell taking over showrunning duties for Season 2. Three years after Lawmen: Bass Reeves began streaming on Paramount Plus, the show has returned to the streaming top 10 as fans wait for the next Sheridan-produced show to hit streaming.
What Is ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ About?
The official synopsis for Lawmen: Bass Reeves, which earned scores of 79% from critics and 91% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, reads as follows: “Lawmen: Bass Reeves follows the legendary lawman Bass Reeves, one of the greatest frontier heroes and one of the first Black deputy U.S. Marshals west of the Mississippi River.” Fans have asked questions for years about a potential second season of Lawmen: Bass Reeves, but Paramount and Sheridan have confirmed at every turn that the show is a limited series that was only ever designed for one season. The cleanest way to pitch Lawmen: Bass Reeves to someone who hasn’t seen it is that it’s like if you put Bosch and Yellowstone in a blender. The show is the perfect mash-up of a sweeping Western epic and a detective thriller.

Lady Gaga appears to have her own little monster!
The singer, 40, and Michael Polansky, have quietly welcomed their first child, according to multiple reports on Friday, September 11.
Photos of Gaga holding a baby as she walked with Polanksy were published by Page Six. Additional details about the baby’s birth date, gender and name are not yet known.
Us has reached out to Gaga’s reps for comment.
The singer has been open over the years about her desire to become a mother. She revealed in a January 2012 interview with The Insider that she wanted to have children “someday,” clarifying, “[That will happen] a long, long day from now. Not soon.”
Nearly a decade later, Gaga shared her wishes for bonding with her future children. “I really hope that when I have maybe a little girl one day, or a little boy, and they see Mommy put her makeup on, that they have the same experience that I did [with my mom],” she told Allure in July 2019. “That’s the greatest gift of all, when you can connect with your parents.”
That December, Gaga noted that her 10-year plan included starting her family. “I want to do more movies, I want to have babies and I want to continue to build the behemoth that is Haus Laboratories into the makeup company of my dreams,” she said in a YouTube video at the time.

As for her love life, Gaga has been dating Polansky since 2019. They were spotted packing on the PDA at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Las Vegas.

“I was 19 years old, and I was working in the business, and a producer said to me, ‘Take your clothes off,’” she said on the AppleTV+ series The Me You Can’t See at the time. “And I said, ‘No.’ And I left, and they told me they were going to burn all of my music. After winning Artist of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga thanked Polansky in a sweet shout-out. “Thank you Little Monsters, my fans, for always supporting me and always supporting the monster in me and to my partner in all things, Michael,” she said during her acceptance speech on September 7. “Creating this year with you was a beautiful, beautiful dream, and you have been my partner every step of the way. I dedicate this to you, my love.”
Gaga, who won four awards total that evening, gave a rare glimpse at her relationship with Polansky the following day via an Instagram tribute.
“Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you — talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” she captioned the September 8 post, thanking her partner for his help on Mayhem. “I love how much you love my fans and want them to be happy🖤 it fills my heart with happiness how much you love them because we get to love them every day together — you care as much as I do about people feeling seen in the world.”
She gushed, “I’m forever grateful for how much you love and fight for me. You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk everyday living the music, performances, and plans with your blood sweat and tears — to see it through every step of the way this year I am the luckiest girl alive. Gaga called Polansky “a true renaissance man,” who has shown her a love she’s “never known” by being a creative partner in life and love. “You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life,” she concluded.
Alien is a franchise that has constantly reinvented itself, much like the creator of the series, Ridley Scott. Scott himself first created a claustrophobic haunted house in space with the 1979 original before James Cameron transformed its sequel into an action movie. Then Scott came back and decided to go all philosophical with Prometheus.
Its 2017 follow-up, Alien: Covenant, attempted to bridge those different approaches by combining the mythology of Prometheus and, well, it didn’t really work. But still, nine years after arriving in theaters, Alien: Covenant has found another streaming home on Peacock. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
The cast is led by Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) as David, the survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition, as well as fellow synth, Walter, alongside Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Daniels, Billy Crudup (Almost Famous) as Oram, Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down) as Tennessee, Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight) as Lope, Carmen Ejogo (Selma) as Karine, Jussie Smollett (Empire) as Ricks, and Callie Hernandez (La La Land) as Upworth.
Is ‘Alien: Covenant’ Any Good?
Commercially, Covenant earned approximately $241 million worldwide which, while hardly disastrous in isolation, represented a substantial decline from Prometheus, which had grossed more than $400 million five years earlier. Plans for Scott to continue David’s story subsequently stalled, although Scott recently stated he wished to take over control of the next Alien film and finish it.
Collider’s review stated that Alien: Covenant has some genuinely strong ideas, but it doesn’t always know what to do with them. Scott seems much more invested in David, the deeply unsettling android played by Fassbender, than in the actual Alien side of the story. As a result, we get a movie that doesn’t know what it is, because there’s not enough Prometheus in it to follow through and be a proper sequel, while the more traditional Alien stuff just feels perfunctory. At its heart, Covenant underlines how difficult it is to separate Alien from the shadow of the original films. Still, it’s undeniably a “Ridley Scott sci-fi movie“, and that alone helps explain why it’s finding fresh attention now, especially after the franchise’s recent momentum with Alien: Romulus and Alien: Earth.

The Western genre was running on fumes by the 1990s, following a heyday that lasted several decades. That said, the ’90s produced a handful of classics that are remembered to this day. Some of them, like Kevin Costner‘s Dances with Wolves and Clint Eastwood‘s Unforgiven, were both critically and commercially successful. Others, like the troubled Tombstone, did solid business at the box office and developed a cult following in the subsequent years. Even the costly misfire Wyatt Earp, which Costner developed as a rival project to Tombstone, has found an audience at home. One movie, however, remains the undisputed Western cult classic of the 1990s, and now it’s streaming for free in the United States.
The film featured a stacked cast that included Gene Hackman, Sharon Stone, Russell Crowe, and a young, pre-Titanic Leonardo DiCaprio. It was directed by the up-and-coming Sam Raimi as his second major studio project following the success of his Evil Dead trilogy and the less successful Darkman. The Western received mixed reviews and fell short of box-office expectations, grossing $47 million worldwide against a reported budget of $35 million. But it eventually found an audience on VHS, DVD, and other home-video platforms.

We’re talking, of course, about The Quick and the Dead. The movie follows a female gunslinger who rides into an Old West town where she participates in a contest that attracts a variety of colorful characters. The movie now holds a 62% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “The Quick and the Dead isn’t quite the draw that its intriguing premise and pedigree suggest, but fans of nontraditional Westerns should have some rootin’ tootin’ fun.” The movie was designed as a revisionist ode to Sergio Leone‘s Dollars Trilogy, and with Stone occupying the number-one spot on the call sheet, she had final say on Raimi being hired to direct. She was also instrumental in the casting of Crowe and DiCaprio. According to Today.com, Elizabeth and her husband, Brice Bolden, welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Coleman Brice Johnston Bolden, on Tuesday, September 8.
“We’re so happy to have Coleman here and to be home together as a family of four,” Elizabeth and Brice told the outlet. “We are so looking forward to watching Leighton and Coleman grow up together.”
The couple, who tied the knot in November 2025, are already parents to daughter Leighton Drew Bolden. Their eldest child will celebrate her third birthday this fall.

Elizabeth’s pregnancy and birth journey comes after she previously opened up about the challenges surrounding childbirth. The reality star has achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism, and knew ahead of welcoming her first child that she would need to deliver via C-section under general anesthesia.
Brice previously admitted that he was particularly apprenhensive about the procedure.
“He’s more nervous about the C-section than anything else in his entire life,” Elizabeth told Today.com in 2024.
At the time, Elizabeth also laughed when asked whether the couple would consider having another child, explaining that Brice needed some time because “he’s just not ready to go through the C-section part again.”
Elizabeth has also spoken of the challenges of raising a child, particularly when strangers invade her “personal bubble.”
Speaking to Parade in February 2025, Elizabeth opened up about what it was like being a mom with achondroplasia dwarfism and having an average-height child.
“We were just doing a little shopping, really just to get fresh air and get out of the house and take Leighton out of the house,” Elizabeth recalled as she shared a stressful incident that occurred three weeks after welcoming Leighton.

She continued, “And we were just walking out of the parking lot, and somebody just wanted to run up and just come see before even saying, ‘Hey,’ or anything.”
Elizabeth explained that her mother had cautioned her that situations like that might happen once she started a family.
“My mom kind of warned me that since we’re already LPs [little people] in the public eye, when you have your baby in a stroller or a carrier and they’re hidden, it’s definitely the curiosity that gets to people,” she told Parade.
Explaining that she was forced to put boundaries in place, Elizabeth continued, “I did have to be like, ‘No. No, we don’t do that.’”
“That’s just been the most, kind of hard part to deal with,” Elizabeth added, “because just people who just don’t have that respect to like, hey, just come up and ask and not just bombard your personal bubble. That’s been the hardest thing.”

Ted Lasso Season 4 is taking the beloved Apple TV series in a different direction with a focus on the journey of AFC Richmond’s women’s team. While some storylines have carried over from previous seasons, like Keeley (Juno Temple) and Roy’s (Brett Goldstein) on-again, off-again romance, Season 4’s latest episode, “Don’t Jump Around Much Anymore,” shines a spotlight on a different character with a personal connection to the show’s titular character, Jason Sudeikis.
Ted’s ex-wife, Michelle (Andrea Anders), initially becomes an antagonist of sorts, given that her and Ted’s separation and eventual divorce impact Ted’s storyline — but that is never more true than in Season 3, when Michelle’s new boyfriend and former therapist, Dr. Jacob (Mike O’Gorman), is introduced. The unethical nature of their relationship bothered many fans, but Season 4 offers a new perspective on these events, revealing them as more complex than Ted, or the audience, realized.
‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Introduces a New Perspective on Michelle’s Relationship
Ted Lasso has long encouraged characters to see things from someone else’s point of view, but Season 3 only explored one perspective on Michelle and Jacob’s relationship. Ted is convinced Jacob used his position as their couples’ therapist to flirt with Michelle, which ultimately impacted his own view of therapy and created challenges in his dynamic with AFC Richmond’s psychologist, Dr. Sharon Fieldstone (Sarah Niles). Initially, Jacob is painted as the villain, and Michelle doesn’t exactly come off looking great either. However, Ted’s perspective is inherently biased, and Season 4 moves away from his reading of the situation.
In Season 4, Episode 6, Michelle finally tells her side of the story, explaining that she was depressed following their divorce and ran into Jacob after a year of not seeing him. Michelle even admits to Ted that she was the one who initiated a personal relationship between them. This version of the story doesn’t truly rewrite the previous season, but it does show that Ted never had all the facts before rushing to judgment. Ultimately, the episode reveals a more nuanced version of Michelle’s character that the show hadn’t explored until this point, forcing the audience to see her differently and reiterating the importance of second chances and redemption.
‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Makes Michelle a More Complex Character
Though Ted often argues in favor of forgiveness and compassion, it’s clear that he still carries some resentment about Michelle and Dr. Jacob’s relationship. Ultimately, Season 4’s latest episode gives Michelle a chance to explain her side of the story while showing Ted still has room to grow. For years, he never considered that there was more than what he already knew, but Michelle’s admission forces him to relearn his own lesson about showing others understanding and grace. It’s a quietly important development for Ted’s character, but it also puts Michelle in a better place to grow into a larger role in Season 4, especially now that she and Henry (Grant Feely) have moved to London with Ted.
Ted Lasso is no stranger to showing two sides of the same story, though in Michelle’s case it comes a bit after the fact. The series thrives in complex situations and has developed some of its best characters through similar nuance. In fact, the twist gives her the same treatment as Season 1 afforded Jamie (Phil Dunster) by exploring his relationship with his father — not excusing the situation, but explaining it. Dr. Jacob dating a former patient is still a messy situation, but it isn’t as clear-cut as Season 3 initially made it out to be, and this explanation gives Michelle the potential to become the next character to grow on fans.

In early 2026, Bernthal starred alongside Tessa Thompson in the surprise Netflix hit His & Hers, which became one of the streamer’s most-watched original shows of all time, with more than 100 million views. Then came a quick string of must-watch performances in some of the biggest shows of the year, starting with a surprise prequel episode ahead of the return of Hulu and Christopher Storer’s The Bear.
Bernthal then starred in Marvel’s Special Presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill, which was designed to bridge the gap between the series and the upcoming MCU blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day. But before Bernthal’s Frank Castle joined forces with Spidey in the record-breaking box office juggernaut, he partnered with Holland and Zendaya in Christopher Nolan‘s ambitious historical epic The Odyssey, which also featured the aforementioned Hathaway and Matt Damon, among others.
As Bernthal enjoys a well-deserved break with no major screen performances on the immediate horizon, one of his more underrated turns of the past few years is proving a surprise streaming hit. Released in 2025 and headlined by the Oscar-winning Rami Malek, the spy thriller The Amateur features Bernthal as mysterious CIA operative Jackson O’Brien, who is nicknamed “The Bear” in an apparent coincidence, according to director James Hawes. Rachel Brosnahan, Laurence Fishburne, Caitríona Balfe, and Michael Stuhlbarg also star in The Amateur, which is currently ranking as one of the ten most-watched movies on Prime Video in the U.S.
How Much Did ‘The Amateur’ Make at the Box Office?
Despite featuring an eye-catching cast, The Amateur failed to impress at the box office, no doubt thanks to being released during a difficult April 2025. Against a reported budget of $60 million, the film only returned $96 million worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $41 million and a further $55 million from overseas markets. The Amateur lasted just two weeks in the domestic top five, losing out in its third week in part thanks to the debut of a newer Bernthal project, The Accountant 2.

HBO’s Underrated ‘Sopranos’ Episode Officially Put This ‘Penguin’ Star on the Map 20 Years Ago
The big takeaway from The Penguin series was not the titular protagonist, but instead the character’s criminal arch-rival, Sofia Falcone, played by Cristin Milioti. While she has been consistently exceptional, Milioti finally got the praise she deserves thanks to the HBO crime drama. It’s hard to think of a more inspired beginning to one’s career than Milioti, whose second screen credit saw her in a brief role in another HBO crime drama, The Sopranos. MIlioti appeared in an overlooked but remarkable episode, directed by Steve Buscemi, which displayed incredible insight into the show’s thematic fabric.
What Episode of ‘The Sopranos’ Was Cristin Milioti In?
In the Season 6 episode of The Sopranos, “Mr. & Mrs. John Sacrimoni Request…”, the titular incarcerated New York boss, best known as Johnny Sack (Vincent Curatola), is granted a temporary release from prison to attend his daughter Allegra’s (Caitlin Van Sandt, daughter of series regular Steven Van Zandt) wedding. Sitting alongside Johnny, his wife Ginny (Denise Borino), Allegra, and his son-in-law Eric (Adam Mucci) is his second daughter, Catherine, played by a then-unknown Milioti. She would later appear in two additional episodes, including the harrowing Season 7 episode “Stage 5,” where John’s fight with cancer would meet its tragic end. Milioti’s brief appearance on The Sopranos would come full circle over 15 years later as the co-lead in The Penguin, which clearly draws inspiration from the David Chase organized crime drama.
Milioti only has two lines in “Mr. & Mrs. John Sacrimoni Request…”, but, as with every inconsequential performance in The Sopranos, she leaves an impact. While they visit John in the prison waiting area, Ginny and Allegra talk about their diet, which prompts an already irritated Catherine to yell, “Can we ever talk about anything in this family besides food?!” Honestly, based on the amount of gluttony that occurs in the show, Catherine’s point is valid. The episode was directed by former cast member Steve Buscemi, who previously directed the acclaimed “Pine Barrens.” For any inexperienced actor in her early 20s, starring in The Sopranos would be an overwhelming endeavor. Milioti said to Entertainment Weekly that her stint on the show was “one of many profound, emotional, moving, and meaningful synchronicities” in her life. At the time of her Sopranos role, her family couldn’t afford an HBO subscription when she was cast.
Milioti may have felt like a deer in headlights while filming, as she shared a story with EW about an awkward time when she accidentally ate a prop shrimp during the wedding sequence. Luckily, she found support from Buscemi behind the camera. “He was so incredibly kind to me,” Milioti said in an interview. She expressed gratitude for his warmth and for making her feel protected on set as a young actor who hardly knew where to look on camera. It didn’t matter that she hadn’t seen an episode of The Sopranos — Buscemi made her feel like a series regular.
Season 6, Episode 5 of ‘The Sopranos’ Is One of the Best
Not only did “Mr. & Mrs. John Sacrimoni Request…” introduce the world to Cristin Milioti, but it also happens to be one of The Sopranos‘ finest hours in its marvelous sixth season. By the show’s late-period run, David Chase was dead set on stripping away any semblance of nobility in Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), and in this episode, written by Terence Winter, Tony reveals his deep-seated insecurity to the audience through one shocking display of violence.
Ailing from his gunshot wound, Tony watches his New York counterpart and dramatic foil Johnny Sack commit the worst sin for a mobster: express vulnerability. Overstaying his strict temporary release window, the U.S. marshals escort John and place him in handcuffs in front of the wedding hall as the newlyweds depart for their honeymoon. Embarrassed and ashamed that his daughter’s precious moment was being tarnished, Johnny is ushered out of the wedding in tears, drawing the ire of his underboss, Phil Leotardo (Frank Vincent).
After hearing his colleagues talk about Johnny with such shame and indignation over his tearful exit, Tony, fearing that his crew will see him as weak due to his health, picks a fight with his strapping driver, Perry (Louis Gross), in front of the family. In one of the show’s most scathing indictments on toxic masculinity, Tony beats his driver (one who would be a fool to retaliate against the boss) to a pulp just to validate his credentials as a “tough guy,” because, in the end, vulnerability is a death sentence in the world of organized crime.
