Brandi Glanville Calls Sons ‘Boring’ For Lack Of Drug Use

Brandi Glanville has a bizarre definition of what “boring” means!

The reality star devised a rather intriguing way to criticize her kids’ lack of passion for trying out some questionable substances like c-caine or alcohol, but this does not mean she is not proud of them for living healthily.

Brandi Glanville welcomed two sons with her ex Eddie Cibrian in 2003 and 2007, respectively, before they finally separated two years later in 2009 and have continued to co-parent their kids amicably.

During last Saturday’s episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast, the reality star revealed that she previously had episodes of drug usage in her past life. 

However, the rise of fentanyl ultimately quenched her thirst for cocaine, as she joked with co-host James Maas about getting drug testing strips to check cocaine for fentanyl because of her kids.

“Luckily my kids don’t do cocaine because they’re boring,” the reality star added, adding that she preferred that they lived like that, as they do not even explore alcohol or have fun in the extreme ways most people choose.

She continued that while she enjoys their resolve, she would still like them to be more outgoing and social, all while avoiding the tempting allure of hard substances. 

The reality star’s confessional did capture loads of attention and comments from viewers across all age groups who have followed her life on television and heard some of her wild stories. Several unforgiving replies like a netizen asking:

“Why are people calling her for a podcast or interview? She is so nasty for promoting cocaine. She deserved everything that happened to herself.”

However, another user seemed more understanding of her humor and perspective, stating that she existed in Glanville’s 90s era where drugs and drinks were the norm compared to now, where good grades have taken over among kids.

“#RHOBH Lmfaooo. Brandi has been on reality TV since S2 in 2011. I can’t believe fans don’t get her sarcastic humor by now and take everything so f-cking literally,” this X user added.

This critic compared her parenting skills to her ex, Cibrian, stating that while he might have been a bad husband, he does a better job at raising kids than the reality star.

The media personality and her ex-husband, who fathered her two children, have continued to carry on parenting with love and mutual respect. PEOPLE shared that Glanville linked up with Cibrian and his wife, LeAnn Rimes, for Christmas in 2024 as a testament to their enduring bond.

She raved about her adoration for her children and how it has necessitated being at peace with everyone, ensuring they all have a great time with the kids.

The trio also got together to celebrate Glanville and Cibrian’s son, Mason’s 18th birthday in 2021. When the reality star’s second child, Jake, graduated from high school in 2025, the family showed up as a united front to support Jake.

The former couple’s first child has also picked up an interest in the entertainment industry, signing to DT Model Management for an exclusive modeling deal in 2022, debuting in 2023 for Ben Sherman’s sports campaign.

As for his baby brother Jake, he basks in the stillness of a life away from the camera and would often give proof of his existence via occasional posts on social media.

Before their marriage hit the rocks in 2009, Glanville recalled sensing that something beyond friendship was brewing between Rimes and Cibrian, and he dismissed her concerns every time she brought it to his attention.

As shared by The Blast, she continued that her ex would refer to her as jealous whenever she had doubts, and that matter would get swept under the carpet.

When the truth finally got revealed, Glanville could not stop the heartbreak, as she could not get past noticing her ex and Rimes were attracted to each other when she stopped by the 2009 “Northern Lights” set.

Despite confronting her ex over a clip of him and Rimes kissing and sucking on each other’s fingers, Cibrian tried to convince her it was not real and even suggested they go in for counseling.

Rimes and Cibrian eventually tied the knot in 2011 and recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary in April, constantly raving about how their relationship is better than it has ever been.

The mother-of-two navigated her nasty divorce from Cibrian by making a very expensive decision to get her v-ginal rejuvenation surgery in 2009, with Dr. David Matlock at the wheel.

While there are non-surgical means to achieve a revamp these days, Glanville noted that she went in for the actual surgery in a bid to finally get rid of her ex’s intimate memories of physical touch on her.

She recalled her ex making a lewd comment about her private part after she pushed out her two children, declaring that it had become different than before. Glanville detailed that the procedure cost nearly $12,000, but it was worth every penny spent.

“A brand new v-gina would be an Eddie-free v-gina. I understand that, to many of you, this may seem like an extreme measure to cut someone out of your life. But I’ve always been an extreme kind of girl, with extreme emotions,” she said.

The reality star added that she also made her ex-husband pay for the surgery, and when he saw the bill, he was beyond shocked at just how much it cost, but it felt good to have him do that.
