Carmen Electra is back on the cover of a top magazine for its Summer 2026 issue, 30 years after her very first major modeling shoot when she was 24 years old.

While she’s fielding readers’ burning questions about love and dating, the actress and model has made it clear that she’s ready for a romance of her own.

With two failed marriages behind her, Carmen Electra is approaching love with a fresh perspective as she holds onto her “youthful spirit.”

Electra, who has racked up more than 150 magazine covers worldwide, knows exactly what she’s looking for in a partner, and she’s being bold about it.

“I still like a guy that’s a little bit edgy, but I wouldn’t mind being with a dad type,” Electra told Fox News Digital. “I did actually date a dad. He had a daughter. I fell in love with the daughter. And I kind of thought that was going to be the relationship. Didn’t work out, but I could be with someone who has a kid or not.”

The 54-year-old, who has had two failed marriages in the past, has decided not to limit herself when it comes to love.

“They don’t have to be a dad,” she said. “They could be a little bit younger. I don’t know. I don’t really know who that guy is yet.”

Electra then made it clear that financial status is not a factor in her search. “I work really hard. I make money. I’m not looking for the man with money. That’s not my goal,” she explained. “If he wants to buy me a few gifts, that’s nice. But I can take care of myself.”

“He just has to be a good person,” Electra emphasized. “That’s very important. And we have to like the same things.”

But while she’s open to a dad type and even a younger man, Electra also believes in the magic of opposites attracting. “It’s also cool when opposites attract,” she noted. “Because they say if two people are too similar, one person is unnecessary.”

Electra has walked down the aisle twice before, both times to high-profile musicians and athletes.

She got married to former NBA star Dennis Rodman in November 1998. But the marriage was short-lived: Rodman filed for an annulment just nine days after the wedding. However, the pair reconciled for a while until Electra filed for divorce in April 1999.

In 2003, she married a second time to Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro. The former couple announced their separation in 2006, and they were divorced by 2007.

Despite the failed marriages, Electra has never let those heartbreaks define her.

“I’ve always been about love,” Electra previously told Fox News Digital. “I’ve always come from a place of love. And if we could all do that, what a wonderful place we could be in.”

Electra didn’t fail to acknowledge the support she has gotten from her social media followers over the years.

She pointed out that she’s always trying different things on her Instagram Page.

“Not everyone’s going to love those things,  and you may not get as many likes. But you turn around and, boom, my fans are there,” she said.

Today, Electra has discovered that staying busy is what makes her feel most confident.

“I feel the most confident when I’m working, and I’ve been working a lot,” she said. “When I’m working, I’m really happy. It’s weird; you would think that by now I’d be over it. But I’m just not. I love it.”

“The more I work, the more confident I feel,” she added. “When I’m in love, I feel confident. But I don’t have someone in my life right now. But I’m still confident because I’m working.”

Her return to being a cover girl has only added to that sense of empowerment.

The Actress Has A Message For Women

With her modeling career comeback at 54, Electra has a powerful message for women who think getting older means fading into the background.

“Don’t let anyone tell you you’re too old,” she said. “That’s a myth. You are living your own life. You’re not living your life for other people.”

Electra encouraged women to change their thought process and speak positivity into their own lives.

“You have to start telling yourself every morning, ‘I’m beautiful. I’m good enough. I look great. I’m pretty.’ Whatever it is that you want to be, you can be that,” the actress noted.

The star also reflected on her spiritual journey, noting the importance of maintaining a “youthful spirit.”

“At one time in my life, I was reading a lot of books about Buddhism,” she said. “I remember one book talked about your inner child and never losing your inner child. And I’ve always been a bit childish.”

“I never want to lose that,” Electra continued. “And I think the people who are older than me, who are still in this business and who I think are beautiful, have a youthful spirit”

She added, “And people will love you for being who you really, truly are.”
