Disney’s New Live-Action Remake Fails to Meet Box Office Expectations

Published

on

Moana-2026-Catherine-Laga'aia-2

The last couple of months have illustrated that franchise fatigue cannot be dismissed as a one-off occurrence. Star Wars fans made it clear that they weren’t interested in going to theaters to see the latest adventure featuring characters they’re used to watching at home. The Mandalorian and Grogu, a spin-off to the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian, now holds the unenviable distinction of being the lowest-grossing Star Wars movie of the Disney era. More recently, the DC Universe experienced its first major blow with its second installment, Supergirl, emerging dead on arrival at the box office. It’s now poised to finish its run as one of the worst-performing movies of its size. This streak seems to be continuing this week, with another Disney underperformer.

We’re talking, of course, about the live-action Moana remake. While the movie received a healthy A- grade from opening day audiences, critical reviews have been dismal so far. It’s also becoming clear that even though audiences still love the character and the world, there was little appetite for a live-action remake, especially one that arrives only a decade after the beloved animated original and less than two years after its sequel. This combination of events hasn’t worked in the favor of Dwayne Johnson, who would have been counting on the Moana remake to get him back to winning ways after a string of high-profile box-office underperformers.

01

You’re dropped into a dangerous situation with no warning. What do you need most from a partner?

02

You have to get somewhere dangerous, fast. How do you travel?
How you get there is half the mission.

03

You’re pinned down and outnumbered. What does your ideal partner do?
This is when you find out what someone is really made of.

04

The mission is paused. You have one evening to decompress. What does your partner suggest?
Who someone is when the pressure drops is who they actually are.

05

How do you prefer your partner to communicate mid-mission?
Good communication is the difference between partners and a liability.

06

Your enemy is powerful, well-resourced, and has the upper hand. How should your partner approach them?
The approach to the enemy defines the partnership.

07

Things go badly wrong and you’re captured. What do you trust your partner to do?

10

It’s the final moment. Everything is on the line. What do you need from your partner right now?
The last question is the most honest one.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

‘Moana’ Is in ‘Snow White’ Territory

Johnson is coming off his ill-fated foray into the DC Extended Universe, Black Adam, his would-be Oscar bid with The Smashing Machine, and the mega-budget quasi-streaming titles Jungle Cruise and Red One. The Moana remake was directed by the relatively untested (at this scale) Thomas Kail, with newcomer Catherine Laga’aia playing the titular character. The movie currently holds a 34% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “The sea calls to no one in this underwhelming new version of Moana, an endeavor that solidifies its animated predecessor as the superior adventure.” Produced on a reported budget of $250 million, Moana debuted with just a little more than $15 million on opening day, including the $4.5 million that it made in Thursday previews. The movie is currently eyeing an opening weekend haul in the low $40 million range, which would put it in the same category as Disney’s disastrous Snow White remake. This is a far cry from the heyday of Disney remakes, during which titles such as Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. Johnson now has Jumanji: Open World to look forward to later this year. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

9 TV Shows That Changed Their Formula for the Better

Published

on

Xavier standing in front of Sam as they both look at something in horror in Paradise.

Spoiler Alert: This list contains spoilers for multiple TV shows.TV shows are written to follow a certain trajectory, whether that’s over a single season or multiple ones. Sometimes, this involves changing course. It might be planned as part of the narrative. But it might also be unexpected because the direction of Season 1 suggests pivoting fits better with what viewers want and how the story is shaping up. This is especially the case for shows where a second, third, and subsequent seasons aren’t necessarily guaranteed, and the writers get creative to keep things fresh.

It’s happened with lots of shows through the decades, from sitcoms to dramas and thrillers. And while this formula shift doesn’t always work, sometimes, it ends up making the show even better. When it comes to the latter scenario, there are many shows from the last few decades that stand out.

‘Silo’ (2023–Present)

Silo is one of the best Apple TV shows. The series is dubbed a sci-fi dystopian drama. Indeed, it teeters the line between all these genres, but sort of switched things up for each of its three seasons to date. Season 1 was entirely focused on the goings-on in Silo 18, only ever venturing outside for a brief moment twice. In Season 2, the focus shifted to more a survivor and rebellion angle, following two locations: Silo 18, where a rebellion was taking place, and Silo 17, where Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) discovered other survivors and had to fight for survival.

In Season 3, the series shifts even more to sci-fi, dividing screen time between present day and flashbacks to 300+ years prior to the creation of the silos. It’s like getting three different shows in one, yet everything synergistically works together to show different parts of this same, complex story.

‘Paradise’ (2025–Present)

One of the most in-your-face genre shifts I have seen in any show of late is in Paradise, which started as a political drama that was revealed to be a post-apocalyptic show as well at the end of the pilot episode. Despite a major disaster having hit Earth, you’d never know since the underground bunker that serves as the singular setting looks like the real world.

In Season 2, however, not only did the setting split for the story to take place in the desolate wasteland above as well, but the formula switched to more of a survival drama, akin to shows like The Walking Dead. It worked beautifully, as we got to see the world above and the struggles of those trying to survive juxtaposed with the lavish community below. By the end of Season 2, it became evident that Season 3 will likely shift its formula again to angle more towards sci-fi. Somehow, however, it has worked so far and the strategy will likely continue to keep the show fresh.

‘Lucifer’ (2016–2021)

Interestingly, Lucifer‘s formula shift was because of the switch from Fox to Netflix. When Fox cancelled the show after three seasons, Netflix decided to pick it up. It was a good move because Lucifer went on for three more seasons and became even bigger, attracting a larger fanbase. The formula change from network TV to streaming allowed the show to take more narrative risks.

Once it moved to Netflix, Lucifer seemed to get darker, coming across more like a gritty comedy drama than a procedural. The seasons were shorter and thus plotlines weren’t drawn out for so long, with no filler episodes. The subject matter was more mature, even with some light profanity and nudity. The lore of Heaven and Hell became darker and less comical. This all worked to breathe new life into a show that became one of the best crime comedy TV shows of all time.

‘Family Matters’ (1989–1998)

Jaleel White as Steve Urkel in 'Family Matters'

“Did I do that?” Apparently, what Jaleel White did was steal every scene he was in as Steve Urkel in this hit sitcom from the ’90s. Family Matters, a spin-off of Perfect Strangers, was supposed to center around the members of the Winslow family. In the same vein as other family sitcoms at the time, and before it, like Growing Pains, Full House, and Roseanne. But instead of the quirky, nosy neighbor or friend bringing occasional comic relief like Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) in Full House or Boner (Andrew Koenig) in Growing Pains, he became the star of the show.

The Winslow family dynamic became so secondary to Family Matters that by Season 5, they removed the youngest daughter Judy (Valerie Jones and Jaimee Foxworth) altogether with no explanation, as if she never existed. The fact that this didn’t really impact the familial plotlines all that much was proof that Family Matters became the Urkel show. The parents, along with son Eddie (Darius McCrary) and daughter Laura (Kellie Shangyne Williams), still got significant screen time. But Urkel showed up more and more, and most of Laura’s storylines became centered on her interactions with him, and his massive crush on her.

Your Universe Has Been Chosen
You Belong In…
Advertisement

Your answers point to the iconic universe your values, your instincts, and your particular way of seeing the world were built for. This is where you would find your people — and your purpose.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

You believe in the cause — in the idea that freedom is worth fighting for even when the odds are impossible and the empire is vast.

  • You are drawn to the moral clarity of a universe where hope itself is a form of resistance.
  • You’d find your people in the Rebellion — a ragtag coalition of true believers held together by conviction more than resources.
  • Star Wars is fundamentally a story about ordinary people choosing to matter in an extraordinary conflict — and that is exactly your kind of story.
  • The Force may or may not be with you. But the will to use it for something larger than yourself certainly is.

Middle-earth

Lord of the Rings

You understand, in the deepest part of yourself, that the journey matters as much as the destination — and that the world’s beauty is worth protecting even at great cost.

  • Middle-earth is a world of ancient wonder, deep friendship, and a darkness that only retreats when enough small acts of courage accumulate.
  • You would thrive here because you value the fellowship more than the glory — the road more than the arrival.
  • Tolkien’s universe rewards patience, loyalty, and the willingness to carry something heavy across a very long distance.
  • Those are not burdens to you. They are simply how you move through the world.

The Wizarding World

Harry Potter

You believe that love, loyalty, and doing what’s right are not naive sentiments — they are the most powerful forces in any world, magical or otherwise.

  • The Wizarding World is a place of wonder hidden in plain sight, where learning is transformative and the bonds you form at school follow you into every battle.
  • You would flourish here because you take both the magic and the friendships seriously — and you understand that one without the other is incomplete.
  • Harry Potter’s universe ultimately rewards those who choose to stand for something even when standing is terrifying.
  • That choice — made quietly, without guarantee — is something you understand completely.

Westeros · The Known World

Game of Thrones

You see the world clearly — its power structures, its hypocrisies, its brutal arithmetic — and you are not paralysed by that clarity. You use it.

  • Westeros is a world that rewards intelligence, adaptability, and the willingness to understand that every alliance is also a negotiation.
  • You would survive here — possibly thrive here — because you don’t confuse the world as it is with the world as you’d like it to be.
  • Game of Thrones is a story about what happens when the idealists and the realists collide. You are sharp enough to know which one lasts longer.
  • Winter always comes. You are already prepared.

The United Federation of Planets

Star Trek

You believe the future is worth building — that curiosity, cooperation, and the expansion of understanding are not just ideals but the most practical path forward for any civilisation.

  • Star Trek is a universe where the questions matter as much as the answers, and where encountering something utterly alien is cause for wonder rather than fear.
  • You would belong here because you are fundamentally optimistic about what intelligence and decency can achieve — while being honest about how hard that achievement is.
  • The Federation is the universe’s most ambitious thought experiment: what if we actually got better?
  • You don’t just hope that’s possible. You think it’s the only thing worth working toward.

‘Breaking Bad’ (2008–2013)

Did you know that Jesse (Aaron Paul) was supposed to die in the first season of Breaking Bad? The intention was for the young delinquent and drug dealer to be the person who helped get Walter White (Bryan Cranston) into the world of drug dealing so that he could go on and do his thing after Jesse’s death. Creator Vince Gilligan has also said that he wanted Jesse’s death to show that the series wasn’t afraid to “go there” and kill off main characters. But the chemistry between Paul and Cranston in the series, one of the greatest American drama shows of all time, was too enticing on screen. Plus, with the Writer’s Strike at the time delaying the final two episodes, it gave Gilligan time to reconsider.

Fans are delighted he did because the dynamic between Walt and Jesse became as important to the show as Walter’s journey. The things Walter did to Jesse, or made Jesse do, helped better portray his descent into darkness. Meanwhile, Jesse became the heart of the show, so much so that El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie was released long after Breaking Bad ended to give Jesse a more fitting end. That’s a testament to Paul’s portrayal and the fact that Gilligan made the right decision fighting to keep Jesse alive.

‘The Good Place’ (2016–2020)

You went into The Good Place thinking one thing and the show pulled a complete 180 to deliver something entirely different. The premise was set to tell the story of Eleanor (Kristen Bell), a not-so-nice young woman who passes on and ends up in what looks like Heaven. She thinks she has been sent to the wrong place, so she decides to spend her time proving that she belongs there before anyone figures it out.

But in the Season 1 finale, it’s revealed that Eleanor isn’t where she thinks she is at all: it’s all an elaborate hoax. She’s actually in the “Bad Place”, where she is forced to live out her existence with others who are just as awful as she is. As the show progressed and everyone figured out what was going on, the angle changed to follow a stream of reboots where the deceased individuals were given the opportunity, over and over, to prove that they could be good and moral people until they got it right. The show’s formula changed in a way that made it better and better with each passing season.

‘Person of Interest’ (2011–2016)

Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel standing next to each other outside in Person of Interest.

Image via CBS

Many sci-fi fans consider Person of Interest to be one of the best and most underrated sci-fi shows of all time. But it didn’t actually start as a hard sci-fi show. It was a network procedural with themes of crime and sci-fi behind its formulaic episodes. However, as the show moved through its five seasons, an underlying story beneath the case-of-the-week format began to take bigger shape until it became the main story.

Complex and riveting with lots of moving parts, Person of Interest was covering topics of government control and modern-day AI in a way that only sci-fi movies had done up to that point. It’s the type of show you look at today and could easily see launching on a streamer, not network TV. Yet even without the leeway to show more violence and mature storylines, Person of Interest, created by Jonathan Nolan, is fantastically written and acted. And the show’s progression from standard procedural with a hint of sci-fi to a sci-fi crime drama tackling deep topics like algorithms, human behavior, and machine learning, was brilliant.

‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ (2015–2019)

Rachel Bloom in a blue evening dress with matching gloves and vintage jewelry in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Watching the first few seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, it’s a hilariously absurd romantic musical comedy-drama about an incredibly intelligent but eccentric woman who runs into her old teenage flame and becomes obsessed with him. So much so that she quits her New York City law firm job to move back to her hometown of West Covina, California, in hopes of reigniting something with him. But he’s completely oblivious to her advances, even as she becomes more and more blatant in her attempts at capturing his attention.

It’s easy to see the humor in the storyline, especially when presented in such a way that it’s clearly designed to be absurdist, embellished humor. But creator and star Rachel Bloom decided to do something drastic with the final seasons and make the show more about mental health. It was still a comedy and there were lots of laughs. But Crazy Ex-Girlfriend set out to leave a powerful mark by diagnosing Rebecca (Bloom) and following her life as she deals with therapy, finding herself, and managing her mental health.

‘Ted Lasso’ (2020–Present)

Another show that put mental health at the forefront, no one had any idea that this would be a central theme of Ted Lasso. All fans knew about it before the series premiered was that it was based on the popular character Jason Sudeikis developed for NBC sports coverage. The title character, played by Sudeikis, was an American football coach called in to coach a flailing English football (soccer) team, even though he knew nothing about the sport.

But it became clear as the show progressed that Ted Lasso was setting out to tell a powerful story of mental health with men and, more importantly, mental health with men in sports. Ted’s infectious personality made him hard to dislike, yet you slowly begin to realize that he hides sadness and anxiety behind this façade. Meanwhile, characters like star player Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) use his ego and bravado to hide his insecurities, while veteran player Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) slowly learns to drop his guard and be more vulnerable. It was such a smart tactic to get people to watch the show, laugh hysterically, become hooked, then hit them with a one-two punch of mental health education. Fans are excited to see what the upcoming fourth season, arriving three years after the show supposedly ended, will bring to the table.

I’m only 5’0, so finding pants that fit perfectly without a visit to the tailor can sometimes feel impossible. And while pants are generally not considered a summer staple, I love having a few lightweight options I can grab to make any tank feel more elevated and put-together.

Enter these lightweight pants I’ve been loving recently, all of which come in petite-friendly sizes and have a stylish feel that makes them wardrobe staples. More importantly for hot weather, they’re made of breathable, gauzy fabrics that won’t leave you feeling overheated and uncomfortable. From nautical stripes to rich-mom linen, these pants will take you through breezy summer nights and beyond. Shop some of my petite-girl-approved favorites below.

Inside Whitney Leavitt And Taylor Paul’s ‘SLOMW’ Feud

Published

on

Taylor Frankie Paul at the 58th Annual CMA Awards

Whitney Leavitt and Taylor Frankie Paul, stars of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” are feuding again! On social media, Paul called out Leavitt for reportedly unfollowing her on Instagram while at her “lowest.” As she continued, Paul claimed that Leavitt, 33, had been waiting for her “downfall” for quite some time before stating she was one of the only people who stood by Leavitt’s side when the rest of the cast was against her. This all comes days after Mikayla Matthews, another “SLOMW” star, slammed Paul and accused her of manipulating people to gain power.

Loyal “SLOMW” stars noticed that Leavitt had unfollowed Paul on Instagram. While it’s unclear when the unfollowing occurred, Leavitt is indeed no longer connected with the mother of three on the popular social media platform.

An account called attention to it, and Paul wasted no time responding, slamming Leavitt for allegedly dogpiling on her while she’s at her lowest point. “Good,” Paul said about Leavitt’s latest move.

“Since she is “leaving” for the 100th time, I’ll give my last words about her. I stuck up for her since the hospital video. I bet she doesn’t even recall that. The show I gave her grace against a whole cast MULTIPLE times,” Paul wrote.

Paul has dominated the headlines since early 2026, when sources revealed that producers halted filming for season 5 of “SLOMW” because of her ongoing legal woes with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

Insiders revealed that many of the women were unwilling to film with Paul because they didn’t want it to appear that they were supporting bad behavior. Paul, however, took their distance as them going against her.

In her Instagram comment, Paul praised Leavitt for the success she’s achieved since season 1 and said she’s always been supportive. “Just for her smile and pile on at my lowest,” she added.

“Let’s be honest, she’s been waiting for my downfall since day one, and she still ain’t gonna get it because she could have everything and still chose not to reach a hand,” Paul added.

Paul Got Into It With Her ‘SLOMW’ Castmates Earlier This Year

This isn’t the first time that Paul has called out her co-stars for allegedly plotting against her. According to a previous report from The Blast, Paul bumped heads with Mikayla Matthews after claiming that the mother of four had also been secretly kicking her while she was down.

“I STILL have ‘friends’ kicking me while I’m already down and calling it ‘setting a boundary’ and then BLAMES ME for being upset and responding. That’s called shaming and attack while I had a moment to breathe and she knew that,” Paul said online. “What a snake friend just did to me in the public eye after everything she just witnessed…the lack of empathy and silence was loud enough.”

Paul’s Drama With Matthews Continues

Paul’s drama with Matthews only intensified last week when she made a TikTok video that seemed to be a direct dig at her castmates. In the video, Paul says she’s been offered just as many opportunities, if not more, than they have, including “Dancing with the Stars” and a book deal.

Matthews finally responded, calling their back-and-forth “crazy,” considering the fact that they’re both stars on the same show.

“Constantly reposting things and repeatedly pushing the narrative of, ‘I’m the reason you have this, you only got it cause I turned it down, I’m a star, and you’re not as interesting. Don’t forget it,’ seems like weaponizing and manipulating your following to keep yourself in that power position to intimidate the people around you over and over,” she wrote.

Leavitt Is Leaving ‘SLOMW’ After Season 5

Part of the reason Leavitt may have unfollowed Paul is that she’s getting ready to leave the series for good. She announced her exit earlier this year, per The Blast, and told singer Kelly Clarkson that she was leaving with no regrets.

“It’s been about four years of my life,” she said. “Every time I left, it wasn’t with gratitude,” she added, “but this time it is. It just feels like a chapter that’s closing in my life. My cup is full, and it just feels like it’s time. So I’m excited.”

Young and Restless Early Spoilers July 20-24: Kyle’s Savage Revenge & Nikki Completely Crumbles

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) - Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)

Young and the Restless spoilers for July 20-24, 2026 thrill with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) getting his hands dirty to get brutal revenge on the man who nearly ruined his family.

Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) predictably completely caves where Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is concerned. So, during the week of July 20th through the 24th, we’ll also see more of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pushing back.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) getting amped up, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) getting romantic, and Matt Clark (Roger Howorth) stirring the pot. And as we always do on early edition day, we’ll run through what’s happening the rest of this week and then we’ll get into what is ahead the following week.

Young and the Restless: July 15th-17th – Nikki’s Blindness and Victor’s Schemes

So, on Wednesday, July 15th, we’ve got Victor getting an update from his private eye that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) did not get bail and that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is doing better. Victor is huffy when the PI says that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki are on their way to visit Jack at the hospital.

Nikki is upset that Jack didn’t tell her what happened to him, but he wants an update from Nikki first, so she tells him about the tumor. Victoria steps out as they talk and Kyle finds her crying in the waiting room and he says Victor won’t like that Nikki came to see Jack and Kyle says Nikki doesn’t need Victor’s rage right now.

Victoria says her parents need each other but Victor needs to get over Nikki being friends with Jack. So, Victoria is upset when Kyle calls her out for defending Victor. And then Kyle asks if she regrets his constant attacks on the Abbotts. And Victoria admits she cannot control Victor, but Kyle reminds her that Victor did all of this by bringing Patty back and the Newmans never hold him accountable.

Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Has Nikki’s Back

She thinks her mom has this time. Jack says Patty has been arrested for attempted murder on him and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Nikki’s happy to hear that she is in jail and says Victor got her the best surgeon and has been good to her.

But Nikki blames Victor for causing all of this by bringing Patty to town. Nikki doubts that she can forgive Victor this time. But Jack says he and Diane are doing fine now.

And Jack reminds Nikki that she needs Victor right now, and he laughs that he is actually rooting for Nikki to reconcile with him. She’s unsure what’s going to happen when she gets her sight back, but she has plenty of support even without Victor.

Diane sees Nikki and Jack bonding and comes into the room. And Nikki tells Diane that she is glad that she and Jack have reconciled. Nikki and Victoria exit and Diane is eager for Jack to come home.

Kyle heads off to work and Jack talks Diane into getting into his hospital bed to cuddle. They worry about Kyle not being okay after all of this, but Jack reassures Diane it will be fine.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea & Adam Try to Reason with Victor

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam gird their loins to talk to Victor. He’s in a bad mood after hearing about Nikki and Jack. Chelsea doesn’t want him going after Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) company, but Victor says nobody steals from him. Chelsea reminds him that Sally is innocent in all of this and that she and Adam want to build something new. Victor says giving up on Newman Media tells people it’s okay to steal from them, but Adam says nobody really even knows.

And then Chelsea mentions that Billy’s working at Chancellor, not Spectra. And Victor laughs that Billy’s going to destroy Cane so he won’t have to. Adam says, “Since Victor gave Chancellor to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), why doesn’t he just leave Newman Media with Sally?” And Victor laughs again and says he’ll get Chancellor back once Cane and Billy ruin it.

Adam asks for six months for him and Chelsea to build their new division from scratch. And Victor says fine, they can do that. But he tells them they cannot interfere with his plans. So, Adam and Chelsea are upset that he is still planning to go after Sally’s company because his attitude is that it belongs to him. Victor thinks they’re letting guilt control them over Adam’s split with Sally and the cheating. Bottom line, Victor does not care what they think.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Victor Furious with Nikki

Victoria brings Nikki home as Adam and Chelsea are leaving. And Nikki knows Adam’s been where she’s been because he has been temporarily deprived of his sight before. He offers Nikki any help that he can provide. And then they take off.

So, Nikki tells Victor that her bandages come off tomorrow and she asks if he still wants to come with her. Victor makes clear he knows she went to see Jack, calls him an SOB and then storms out. Victoria tells her mom that Victor left the room. I guess he stormed too quietly for Nikki to hear it.

Chelsea and Adam go drink coffee and complain about Victor. They discuss moving off the ranch. Problem is Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) likes it there. They wonder how to protect Sally from Victor and Chelsea really wants her to have a break from the stress while she’s pregnant. So, they’re really frustrated.

Patty’s pacing in her cell when Kyle shows up. Patty says his parents are reunited. So, Kyle should be happy, but he tells Patty he wants her to give him proof that Victor was behind everything she did. And Patty is smirking like the psycho she is.

Y&R Spoilers July 16th-17th – Nick’s Sobriety and Summer Awards

Then on Thursday, July 16th, Nikki’s worried that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may fall off the wagon and start using again. Sharon (Sharon Case) also checks in with Nick this week at the coffee shop. We know the headwriter teased that Nick would relapse, but so far so good. So, we’ll see.

Victoria and Claire Grace Newman (Haley Erin) honor her dad, Cole Howard, who passed away last July. The Newman Publishing division that Claire is starting up is going to bear her dad’s name. Meanwhile, Victor takes a swipe at Spectra. Apparently, Victor’s going to remain awful as long as he’s in Genoa City.

And congratulations to Eric Braeden on his lead actor daytime Emmy nomination. Christian LeBlanc was also nominated in that same category, which has some people scratching their heads over what storyline was he a lead in versus supporting when I don’t even think he’s on contract right now.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sienna & Noah on the Rocks

Friday, July 17th, Matt strains Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) relationship. Matt’s back up at Shadow Room. For a guy who claims he wants to make amends, he’s sure pushing their buttons. And Noah looks ready to punch him. And a congratulations to Roger Howorth.

He was nominated in the supporting actor daytime category along with Michael Graziadei and Sean Dominic. Lily talks to Cane this week at the GCAC. This may be about their new hires Holden and Billy or Devon’s ongoing anger issues because Nate and Lily talk about their concerns about Devon by the end of the week.

We know that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is worried, too. Nikki and Victor agree to a fresh start by the end of the week. And I’m wondering if Jack’s words resonated with Nikki or if she’s plotting some form of payback and is only pretending to reconcile with him. That’s what I’m hoping for.

Y&R Spoilers July 20th-24th – Phyllis Caught and Victor’s Vendetta

The week of July 20th through the 24th, we’ve got the last day of sweeps on Monday the 20th. We’ll see more Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Matt soon, and Nick’s going to catch them in a compromising position. Also, congratulations to Michelle Stafford on her lead actress daytime Emmy nomination.

We’ll see if Kyle convinces Patty to make a deal to take down Victor. If she’s looking at a padded cell versus hard time in prison, Patty might wise up. She may throw Victor under the bus and grab Kyle’s deal. I’m sure Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) could negotiate with Christine Williams Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) to toss her back in the psych ward instead of the state prison.

Billy may hop on the revenge bandwagon after he finds out Victor is going after Sally. We could see Adam and Chelsea working with them. That would be a nice change of pace. Victoria is running Newman and trying to cope with the stress that Victor is causing and Lily and Cane really really heat up soon.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Congrats to Emmy Nominees

Other Young and the Restless Emmy nominations, Camryn Grimes in the best supporting actress category along with Beth Maitlin and Ray Wise landed a nomination for guest star as Ian Ward. Y&R was nominated for best daytime drama. I honestly don’t know how they landed that given Josh Griffith’s god-awful writing, but at least they were passed over for a writing nomination.

But they were nominated for directing, which is fine. Y&R also landed nominations for sound editing and set decoration for one of the episodes about Dumas in France and another that aired last Halloween with lots of cute costumes and stuff. Also, nominations for hair and makeup, costumes and casting.

Why Amy Reached Out to Cousin Joseph Duggar’s Alleged Victim

Published

on

Amy Duggar King

Amy Duggar is speaking out about her decision to personally contact the individual accusing her cousin, Joseph Duggar, of child abuse.

By stepping forward, Amy hopes to offer a supportive refuge outside of the high-pressure environment surrounding her famous family amid the scandalous accusations.

This comes after Joseph was accused of molesting an underage girl back in 2020 during a family vacation.

Amy recently opened up about a private conversation she had with the person accusing her cousin, Joseph, of abuse. Speaking on “The Sarah Fraser Show” podcast, the 39-year-old explained that her goal was simply to provide comfort.

“I don’t want to speak for her or anything like that, but I will just tell you, when I talked to this person, I just gave her hope,” Amy shared. She told the accuser that the trauma did not have to define or ruin her life, promising to be a safe resource whenever she needed to talk.

“I told her that if she ever just needed a safe place to talk, that I’m here,” Amy said.

The outreach comes in the wake of 31-year-old Joseph’s arrest in March. He faces serious charges, including lewd and lascivious child molestation of a victim under 12 and misconduct by an adult.

Joseph pleaded not guilty in late March and was freed under strict orders to stay away from the accuser. When asked why Joseph would deny the charges, Amy suggested he might be receiving poor legal and personal advice.

“I think [Joseph’s] had some counsel and I think the counsel is not good,” she stated, calling it dishonest and unhealthy.

Amy’s active efforts to support her cousin’s accuser stem from a profound personal boundary she established years ago.

In a candid interview on “The Dory Jackson Interview,” the influencer admitted she recognized long ago that her family’s public scandals were far from over.

According to Amy, she purposefully distanced herself from the core family unit following the arrest of her eldest cousin, Josh, on child sexual abuse material charges. As such, she made a conscious choice to establish strict personal boundaries, as reported by The Blast.

Though processing Josh’s initial arrest had a crushing emotional impact on her, she eventually resolved not to let her relatives’ actions dictate or define her own future.

Consequently, when news broke of Joseph’s arrest in March, Amy was devastated to learn that the victim was a young child.

Weeks before Amy confessed to distancing herself from the family, she delivered a fierce criticism of her cousin’s behavior behind bars. Following the release of audio recordings from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas, the influencer took to TikTok to address the conversations between Joseph and his wife, Kendra.

When Joseph mentioned he was struggling to rest because of noisy inmates and a disruptive tantrum inside the facility, Amy dismissed his discomfort, stating, “Joe said he’s having trouble sleeping. Aww… Nobody cares.”

“I bet the victim hasn’t slept in five years. Trauma doesn’t clock out,” she added, according to The Blast

Joseph Duggar Asked The Court To Adjust His Boundary Limits Near The Former Scene of the Crime

Joseph and Kendra Duggar

Amid Amy’s fierce criticism of Joseph’s complaints, the legal battle took another turn when the former reality star attempted to adjust the strict parameters of his release.

According to The Blast, Joseph formally petitioned a Florida court to modify the terms of his active protective order, which currently prevents him from approaching his accuser’s residential area.

Under the rules, he is legally barred from stepping within 500 feet of the victim. However, in a new legal motion, the defense argues that the safety zone should be altered because the teenager and her family have moved out of their home.

The former television personality, who works in real estate, is asking a judge for permission to enter the area to look after specific plots of land that he owns. The filing insists that he is not trying to bypass the safety rules to locate his accuser, but simply wants to resume standard upkeep on the real estate parcels.

Joseph Duggar Is Also Fighting For Supervised Visits With His Children

Alongside his attempts to adjust boundaries near his accuser’s former home, the former television personality is also challenging the limits placed on his family life.

Joseph submitted a legal request to modify his active no-contact order in an effort to regain access to his own biological children. Following his arrest, the court imposed strict release conditions that forbid him from having any unsupervised interaction with minor children.

Even as his defense team prepares for trial, the father of four is arguing that his parenting rights should be partially restored, per The Blast.

Days of our Lives Early Spoilers July 20-24: Alex Erupts in Fury & Lexie’s Deathbed Crisis

Published

on

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)

Days of Our Lives spoilers for July 20-24, 2026 shock with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) at his wit’s end with his wife and Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is on her deathbed soon after another collapse and this one cannot be hidden from her loved ones.

Let’s get into the latest spoilers for the week of July 20th through the 24th, including a kidnapping plot, planted drugs that leave Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) looking like a liar, and a drunken good time that goes awry.

And as we always do on Early Edition Day, we’ll talk about the last few days of this week, and then we’ll dive into all the great stuff that’s coming next week.

Days of Our Lives: July 15th-17th – Lexie’s Collapse and Theo’s Rock Bottom

On Wednesday, July 15th, we’ve got Alex stepping up for Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Kelsey. He is absolutely livid at Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and he feels guilty for not dealing with Joy’s car situation better. So, maybe Alex will buy Joy a car or hand her the keys to his so that Kelsey is safe while they are on the road.

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) bond. The last time they chatted it was about knockoff designer purses. So, I wonder if Gabi will open up to Gwen about her bitter split from Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). I’m still thinking Gwen might wind up with Philip. So, that could get awkward fast.

DOOL Spoilers: Chad & Bell Get a Lead

There’s a big break in Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) chess set investigation. The paper that was slipped into the program for the Salem Symphony concert has them digging deeper. Also, riddle me this. How do you have a ticket to a concert that’s held in the middle of a public town square that literally anybody can walk up and listen to? However, I was impressed that Days of our Lives spent the money on a small orchestra. I figured it was going to be Amazon Music playing from offscreen.

Stephanie and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) do some bonding over booze at Small Bar. Of course, Stephanie’s on fire about Alex calling her out. Her jealousy over Joy led to Stephanie deleting that voicemail about his little girl being in the car crash. That’s just too much for Alex. And yes, Kelsey actually did have a minor injury. So, for everybody saying it was faked, no. And Alex is taking it hard because you don’t mess with kids.

Days Spoilers: Theo’s Ready to Snap

Meanwhile, Theo is also at a breaking point. Gabi did him dirty. He found out about Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) role in Lexie’s cancer when she died the first time. And of course, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) has cancer. Abe just told him that he was conspiring with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to take him out as CEO. Theo’s almost at rock bottom.

And that’s even before he finds out Lexie is sick and dying again. And when Alex comes home from the hospital this week, he’s going to find a shirtless Theo asleep on his couch. I doubt Stephanie and Theo get frisky or anything. He’s probably just sleeping off a drunk. But this is not good optics when Alex is already mad at his wife. Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) and Gus (Michael Ocampo) run into Leo and it is predictably awkward.

DOOL Spoilers: Marlena Worries For Rachel

And then on Thursday, July 16th, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is very concerned about Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote). We know that Kristen DiMera‘s (Stacy Haiduk) conversation with Marlena raised some red flags because Kristen’s trying to paint EJ as a danger to Rachel. Let’s be real, he’s not. He’s just toying with Kristen before he tosses her onto a deserted DiMera Island for the rest of her days.

Also, Lexie stuns her sister Kristen on Thursday. So, Lexie could tell her toxic sister that she’s dying. Or she might warn Kristen what fate that EJ has planned for her. We know that even with a warning, Kristen is still snatched. So, we’ll see. But I’m pretty sure that Lexie heard EJ and Rita talking when she was coming out of her collapse.

Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is frustrated and opens up to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). No doubt this is about Holly and their lack of progress tying EJ and DiMera Pharmaceuticals to the arsenic incident. Also, Holly’s feeling the pressure, the lawsuit, almost dying of arsenic poisoning, being accused of taking pills recreationally again. It’s just a whole lot for the young woman.

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) sees EJ in a new light, but the question is a brighter light or a dimmer one. If Cat finds out about the Coriseal and the arsenic, it’ll be a dim view. But if it’s about their past in Italy, maybe it is something positive.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Abe Apologizes to Theo

Then on Friday, July 17th, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) apologizes to Theo for conspiring with EJ and keeping things from him. But hungover Theo may not be in a forgiving mood. He feels like people are underestimating him because he is the good DiMera. And with Lexie’s news hitting them soon, Theo is going to be struggling even more.

Alex talks to Stephanie about the stunt she pulled with the voicemail and her attitude about the mother of his child. So, I wonder if Stephanie brings up Alex turning off her phone to avoid Chad so he could sleep with Stephanie when her mom Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) was about to die because I think that’s valid, but it doesn’t erase what Stephanie just did. So, honestly, it’s probably not a good idea to bring it up, but I’d like to see her do it to be petty.

Days Spoilers: Holly Catches Up with Ari

Ari comes to see Holly. They got lots to catch up on. Ari has to tell Holly about her mom, Gabi, bribing Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) to ghost her and her moving out. Holly’s got to tell Ari what’s going on. And hopefully, she believes her about the pills. Problem is, that same day, Tate Black (Leo Howard) finds pills in Holly’s bag, and I’m betting they are Coriseal and that EJ planted them there. Tate will ask her about the pills and Holly says they’re not hers. And when Tate asks to talk about it, Holly explodes and Sarah’s there to see it all. So Holly looks very sketchy.

Also, EJ gets bad news when Kayla tells him in front of Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) the state board is revoking his ownership rights to the hospital. We know EJ fires Sarah this summer. So I wonder if the revocation is overturned or maybe EJ fires Sarah before it’s made official. Seems like they need a buyer to make it happen because they can’t just take back something he owns without paying him back for it. So, this may be Gwen’s green light to buy the hospital and laugh in EJ’s face.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Kiriakis – Lexie Carver

DOOL: July 20th-24th – Lexie’s Terminal Illness and Sweeps Events

The week of July 20th through the 24th. Sweeps is going to end on Monday the 20th. Cat and EJ could do more than kiss as her memories come surging back and Cat finds out there’s genuine affection between them. I wonder was she pushed towards EJ by the ISA or possibly Clyde Weston (James Read) and just hasn’t recovered those memories yet.

Theo’s upset things get worse when Lexie’s symptoms get so bad she can’t hide them. She told Marlena she planned to keep her impending death a secret. But because Lexie’s passing out without warning, there’s no way Theo and Abe won’t know. Lexie is at the hospital soon and that could be because she conks out and Theo and Abe panic and call 911.

They’re going to be devastated by this life-ending update from Lexie and really ticked off at EJ. Gwen and Philip may spend more time commiserating, and Gabi may get close to Theo when his whole world falls apart soon. Chad and Belle study the new clue, and more clues are coming their way. Holly’s due out of the hospital soon, but will she be shipped off to rehab because of EJ?

Chanel is going into premature labor soon, and it freaks Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) out. The summer promo has her scared and bleeding and Kayla hustling everybody out of the room. We’re also expecting Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Portre) back to Salem soon and getting close to Leo again.

Days of our Lives: Congrats to Emmy Nominees

And just real quick, I want to congratulate the daytime Emmy nominees for Days of Our Lives for Outstanding Drama Series. They got a nomination. Stacy Haiduk was nominated for lead actress. Nobody got nominated for lead actor or supporting actor or supporting actress.

Al Calderon and Alice Halliday were nominated for emerging talent in that category. Christopher Shawn landed a nomination in the guest star category and they were also nominated for outstanding writing team and directing team. So congratulations across the board.

Bold and Beautiful Early Spoilers July 20-24: Will Launches Brutal Attack & Steffy Melts Down

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) - Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for July 20-24, 2026 excite with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) striking again. It looks like his days of terrorizing the Foresters with physical violence aren’t done despite us all knowing this is just lunacy. Plus, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) completely snaps.

Also, in the week of July 20th through the 24th, we’ve got the end of July sweeps. We’ve got Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) going after her guy. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) reeling from her catastrophic news, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) plotting, and we’re going to see Katie Logan (Heather Tom) doing some scheming as well. And as always on early edition day, we go over what’s happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is coming next week.

Bold and the Beautiful: July 15th-17th – Daphne’s Diagnosis and Will’s Heartbreak

So, on Wednesday, July 15th, we have the scenes carrying over from Tuesday with Daphne getting support from Steffy. We know that Daphne’s devastated with this diagnosis that she can’t have biochildren because she is in early menopause and Steffy is stepping up to support her. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne were so excited to start a family right away and they wanted a big family and so this is just all very sad and now Daphne’s got to tell Carter this terrible news. I’m kind of wondering if we’re going to see somebody at Forrester being her surrogate. You know, Dylan could use the money.

Speaking of her, she and Will are at the beach house continuing their conversation from Tuesday. Interestingly, some fans seem to think this is a daydream in Dylan’s head because she’s being so forward unbuttoning his shirt and rubbing on him. So, on Wednesday, Dylan is referring to Will as Mr. Spencer, and he’s griping that’s his dad, Bill’s name, and that people judge Will and make up their minds before he even speaks.

But Dylan says not everybody sees Will that way. And then he’s whining that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) didn’t see him that way. And Will tells Dylan he knows she’s trying to make him feel better when she promises him smiles and laughs, but he misses Electra so much.

B&B Spoilers: Dylan Won’t Give Up on Will

Dylan continues to flirt like crazy, but Will buttons his shirt back up. They discuss Dylan’s living arrangement, and she tells Will for the record, if she did come back to his house, she wouldn’t be living above the garage. He continues being distraught, wishing he had warned Electra. But Bill was right to tell Will that he did nothing wrong and maybe needs to forget Electra and move on to somebody else who won’t be so ridiculous. It’s clear seeing her talk to R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) this week that if Will had told her any of their trade secrets, Electra would have spilled to the Foresters.

Thursday, July 16th, Daphne and Carter’s marriage is tested. So, Daphne’s going to need a minute to process this awful news. And I’m sure Carter will too once she says no babies going the traditional route. They can adopt or use a surrogate. But Daphne and Carter probably need a little bit of time before they dive into options, but you never know, maybe they’re going to spring right into something now.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Eric & Ridge Determined

Also, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge discuss launching Eric’s couture line that they put off. They want the spotlight back on Forrester Creations and off of Logan. We’ll see if they can make that happen.

Carter warned about the cost of Eric’s line, so they definitely need to knock this out of the ballpark. I honestly wasn’t real impressed with the dresses I saw, but Ridge should be setting the launch date soon.

Will goes over to the Forrester estate and tries desperately to get Electra to take him back. Will thinks he can’t live without Electra, which is nonsense. R.J.’s already been harping on Electra to stay away from Will, so him being at the house might be an issue. Plus, Electra is going to stick to her guns.

Bold Spoilers: Eric Snaps on Will

Then on Friday, July 17th, Eric sees Will on the Forrester property, and Eric’s going to get really bossy and pushy and tell Will to get out and stay away from the Foresters. Also, I don’t know if you guys have seen this, but I saw a spoiler that was marked unconfirmed, but it’s still out there, and it’s from a reputable source, and they said Will’s violence gets worse, and he punches Eric.

For me, I don’t see that happening. At the most, I could see Will being there to see Electra. Eric puts his hands on Will to shove him out the door, and maybe he yanks his hand away from Eric, who tips and falls from the momentum, something where they can like blame Will for something happening to Eric. But honestly, if Will punches an elderly man, then Brad Bell has lost his entire mind.

Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy are at a critical point in their marriage. Despite Finn telling Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) that he can’t be around her because Steffy won’t allow it and has to prioritize his marriage, guess what? Finn tells Steffy that Sheila came to see him. And incredibly, Finn says he thinks it’s time they let Sheila into their lives. Finn really believes Sheila has changed. I don’t see Steffy ever agreeing with any of this.

B&B Spoilers July 20th-24th – Will’s Spiral and Monaco Preparations

July 20th through the 24th is a big week. Monday is the last day of July sweeps, by the way. And we’ve got R.J. getting closer to Electra at work. R.J. so happy he got Will fired and now he can focus on Electra all day long. I think it’s great R.J. can have Electra. They’re both terrible at this point on Bold and the Beautiful.

We also have Katie hard at work at Logan next week. So, I wonder if they get some info on Eric’s new couture launch. I would not put it past Bill or Katie to stage something to get the press attention and distract it from Forrester’s big day after Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge were both physically assaulting them. I think it’s karma.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Electra Gets Pouty Again

And by midweek, it looks like Electra is up at Bikini Bar crouched down checking on somebody, looking upset. So, this was another part of the spoiler saying there’s another violent incident between Will and R.J. I believe that part. If Will hits him again, I’m sure it’s because R.J. was provoking him, but the whole storyline is just so off base. By the end of the week, Will is at home looking upset. Whatever goes on at Bikini is hitting him hard. He just needs to take Dylan up on her offer. And forget Electra, forget R.J., forget all things Forrester.

Brooke is back soon from running off to the wellness center and she’s going to be making plans with Steffy, Ridge and Eric for the trip to Monaco. I’m very curious if they’re going to do Eric’s couture launch there. Thinking that’ll be splashy enough to overshadow Katie’s launch of Hope for the Future by Logan. They’re off on the trip the following week. By the way, Monaco episodes start airing on July 29th.

Bold Spoilers: Sheila Stalks Steffy & Finn

Sheila’s going to follow along after Steffy reacts negatively to Finn’s suggestion that they allow Sheila into their lives. Steffy brings Finn along with her, maybe trying to keep him away from Sheila while she’s gone. But there’s going to be a showdown on the sand with Steffy ranting at her mother-in-law Sheila. And there’s big events there that change everything for a lot of people. There’s scenes on the beach, scenes at a church, and lots more.

Carter and Daphne continue reeling. And Dylan makes her play to scoop up Will, but Electra’s going to lose it when she finds out what Dylan’s up to. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Foresters fire her. Plus, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) move forward, and Taylor’s going to be stunned to hear about Finn’s request about Sheila.

B&B Spoilers: Congrats to Emmy Nominees

Also, daytime Emmy nomination news. Congratulations to Heather Tom for her nomination in the lead actress category and also to Scott Clifton and Thorsten Kaye for their lead actor nominations. B&B did not get a nod for best daytime drama. Nor did anybody from Bold and the Beautiful land on supporting actress for a nomination.

But Lawrence Saint-Victor got the nom for best supporting actor from B&B. Shockingly, they landed a nomination in the writing category. They also got a nod for sound editing and technical direction. Congratulations to all of those nominees.
