Duke University Reacts To Talks About Angel Murdock, PA Program

The internet hasn’t let up on Angel Victoria Murdock and allegations that her medical student content has been a ruse. Now, Duke University is addressing Angel’s self-proclaimed ties to its physician assistant program. Also, new revelations about her real estate videos and prior education outside Duke are coming to light.

Angel Murdock Faces Backlash Over Medical Student Content

Angel Murdock is in the hot seat online. She reportedly built a following of thousands by showing her life in a PA program, her real estate business, and her appearance on the TV show ‘Temptation Island’ in 2025. That all changed in recent months after rumors that had been bubbling since last year. Reportedly, graduates of the 2026 postgrad PA program revealed that Angel wasn’t among them. Of the 89 students in the program, none recalled seeing her on campus, in class, or at social events during the two-year PA program.

An anonymous graduate of the program reportedly told the NY Post: “It was sometime last year that we found out about her. We knew she was a fake, but we kind of let it go because we were too busy.” 

Also, she didn’t appear in the 2026 class photo. Then, the color of her gown in the “graduation” photos appeared to be incorrect. Her name was not called during the two-hour graduation ceremony, and the National Commission on Certification of PAs does not have her registered in its database.

Fans flooded her comment sections looking for answers, cracking jokes and dropping wild theories. But, she appeared to offer no clarity amid the growing questions and criticisms. Instead, her social accounts have apparently been undergoing deactivation.

Duke University Speaks Out About Angel, Another University Denies Her Attendance

Then, here comes Duke, clearing the air about who has and hasn’t participated in their PA program. A spokesperson reportedly told the NY Post that there is “no record of a student by the name Angel Murdock having applied to or attended the Duke Physician Assistant Program.” Yet on TikTok, she’s shown herself wearing scrubs during clinical rotations or studying medical notes.

Duke University wasn’t the only educational institution to deny having Angel as a student. Apparently, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte told the NY Post she never graduated from there, despite claiming to have completed a double major in Biology and Psychology. Instead, she allegedly dropped out midway through her studies.

Angel Appears To Have Also Told “White Lies” Real Estate Content

Duke University aside. The NY Post is alleging that Angel Victoria Murdock has been faking her real estate career. In October 2021, she posted a “closing” photo with a couple and tagged the location as North Carolina. Meanwhile, in late 2022, she reportedly posted about receiving her license in September of that year. Also, her real estate IG page says she’s licensed in NC and Georgia.

Now, NY Post reports that neither state has her listed in their database of licensed realtors. Additionally, she previously claimed to have worked with Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate. But the outlet says the firm confirmed no one with Angel Victoria Murdock’s name has ever worked for them.

Furthermore, the New York Post warned that criminal charges of impersonation could be on the table for Angel. In North Carolina, pretending to be a real estate broker could result in jail time as it’s a class one misdemeanor. And, in Georgia, anyone who violates this law can face fines. Consequences increase based on whether she also earned money while posing as a broker or realtor. At this time, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department isn’t investigating Angel, but would consider doing so if any victims of her impersonation came forward.
