‘Euphoria’ Officially Gets Brand New Release After Finale
After years of controversy and a seemingly endless wait for its final chapter, HBO finally brought its popular coming-of-age drama Euphoria to an end in May 2026. The series, created by Sam Levinson, premiered in 2019 and quickly became one of HBO’s most influential shows, helping turn its young ensemble, namely Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, into some of Hollywood’s biggest rising stars. The controversies haven’t quite overshadowed just how successful the series has been, with 9 wins from 32 Emmy nominations and another potentially to come thanks to Zendaya’s pending nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Euphoria Seasons 1 and 2 were well received by critics. The series earned praise for its willingness to tackle mature subjects and its grounded portrayal of the struggles facing young adults. Season 1 holds an 80% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, while Season 2 dipped slightly to 78%. Season 3, however, marked a much sharper decline in critical reception, earning just 44%. However, its fan-powered 56% Popcornmeter score suggests that viewers didn’t find the final chapter quite as disappointing. The final season was also a ratings success, with Nielsen reporting that it accumulated 666 million minutes watched during the week following its finale.
Now that Euphoria has reached the end of its run, HBO is giving fans the chance to own a physical copy of the acclaimed series. Seasons 1 and 2 were previously released individually on Blu-ray and DVD, but rather than release Season 3 on its own, HBO and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are bringing the entire series together in a complete-series collection. The Blu-ray set will span 10 discs, while the DVD collection will contain 8. Both editions will also include several special features, including the three special episodes “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” “F*** Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob,” and “Euphoria: A Look Back,” the latter of which was previously released on HBO Max. The collection will also include more than four hours of bonus content, featuring behind-the-scenes featurettes such as “Unfiltered with the Cast of Euphoria,” “Enter Euphoria: An Inside Look at the Episodes,” “Costumes, Fashion and Looks of Euphoria,” and “House Tour and Set Tour With Sydney
Will ‘Euphoria’ Get a Spin-off?
Euphoria ended on a grim note for many of its main characters, but not everyone met a tragic fate. While series creator Sam Levinson has confirmed that the story is over, Sweeney, who played Cassie Howard, isn’t quite ready to close the door on her character. In a recent interview, the actress said, “I know there is more to tell of Cassie’s story,” adding, “I’ll always be wondering what Cassie is up to in the Euphoria-verse.” For now, though, a Euphoria spin-off seems far from guaranteed. Between Levinson’s comments about the story being finished, the controversies that have surrounded the series, and the definitive fates handed to several characters in the finale, finding a natural path forward could prove difficult, and perhaps things are best left as they are for obvious reasons.
Euphoria: The Complete Set Blu-ray will be released on December 15. The full season is also available to stream on HBO Max and to buy/rent on digital storefronts. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Matthew Mayich Was ‘Failed’ by Staff During Controversial Workout
Arizona State hockey player Matthew Mayich was “failed” by those around him when he collapsed and was hospitalized after a controversial outdoor workout last month, the Professional Hockey Players’ Association said in a blistering statement.
“The recent tragedy in collegiate hockey should force everyone in sport to confront a fundamental issue: no athlete should ever believe that protecting their health and safety could cost them ice time, their place on a team, a scholarship or their future in the game,” PHPA Executive Director Brian Ramsay said on Wednesday, September 9. “When athletes feel pressure to remain silent about an injury, illness, exhaustion, or concern because they fear the consequences of speaking up, the system has failed them.”
Ramsay continued, “Athletes should never have to choose between their health and their careers. Period.”
Mayich, 21, suffered a heat stroke during a military-style team workout on August 20. The athlete has been hospitalized since, with the family’s attorney, Robert Carey, saying Mayich has “zero chance for recovery.”
“I believe we have an obligation to this young man and his family, to keep pushing for a culture across hockey — and across sport — where speaking up about one’s health and wellness is viewed as an act of strength, not weakness,” said the PHPA, which represents all players in the American Hockey League and ECHL. “That young man, on the cusp of his career in professional hockey, was failed by the system, the system that should have protected him.”
The statement continued, “The president must conduct an inquiry and meet with players who will tell the truth about that day, but they must also guarantee that no player will suffer any repercussions or retaliation. No game, roster spot, scholarship or career is worth compromising an athlete’s health or safety. We owe all athletes an environment that makes that principle absolute.”
Mayich, a sophomore defenseman, had recently transferred to Arizona State after playing his freshman year at Clarkson University. He was a sixth round pick by the St. Louis Blues in the 2023 NHL Draft.
The Arizona State Police Department opened a formal investigation into Mayich’s collapse earlier this month. In an exclusive interview with Us, Carey said fear within the hockey program was palpable.
“These kids are scared,” Mayich’s family attorney said on September 3. “The ones that are still there, they’re scared. They think they might lose their scholarships. They think the program might crumble. They might not get playing time if they cross the coach.”
In a statement to Us on September 3, a spokesperson for Arizona State said, “The morning outdoor workout was a team event at which coaches and training staff were present along with a third party who had previously worked with the ASU Hockey team.”
“Sun Devil Athletics also has heat-illness guidelines in place; these guidelines are informed by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association,” the statement added. “SDA student-athletes regularly practice and train outside, under coach and trainer supervision.”
Arizona State is scheduled to open their season on October 2 at Lindenwood.

Layla Taylor Shares Why She Came Out As Bisexual
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Layla Taylor is finally living in her truth, and things couldn’t be better. In a new interview, the reality star, who recently came out as bisexual in the summer of 2026, shared more about her life now that she’s open about her sexuality and explained why she decided now was the right time to come out.
Speaking with PEOPLE, Taylor said the main reason she came out was to encourage those who might also be struggling to accept themselves.
“The only reason why I did formally address it is just to help youth that are feeling the same way, that are scared to come out — and even adults that are the same way, that are scared to come out — was just to share my story so I could help other people,” he said.
According to a previous report from The Blast, the Hulu star told podcast host Jay Shetty that she was “gay and bi” before saying her breakup with her last boyfriend inspired her to act on her attraction to women.
Layla Taylor Says She Was Surprised By Homophobia
Elsewhere in her interview, Taylor said that she was surprised to learn people in the LGBTQ+ community still experience homophobia.
“I get a lot of biphobia from people saying that this is just a phase and I’m going to go right back to men, or all these weird assumptions,” she said. “But I just think after someone comes out, I feel like just let them figure it out for themselves, date who they want to date. And at the end of the day it’s no one’s business.”
Layla Taylor Has Introduced Her Girlfriend To Her Two Young Sons
Since coming out, Taylor has shared a bit more about her new relationship with TikTok creator Kelsie Chesser, per The Blast. Taylor said previously that she “slid into” Chesser’s DMs, hoping she was into girls.
And since they’ve been dating for some time, Taylor introduced the social media influencer to her two young sons, noting that they’re at “the age now that they do understand.”
“I think luckily they’re so young right now that I don’t really feel like they even can conceptualize what ‘society’ a normal relationship looks like between a man and a woman. I don’t feel like they have an idea that it should be ‘man and woman,’” she said.
She went on to say that if her children did question her about her relationship, she would tell them that everybody has “certain views” and that “other people can have their views” too.
Taylor Shares Her One Regret Around Coming Out

The newest season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is available to stream on Hulu, and this batch of episodes shows Taylor navigating life after her breakup with Mason McWhorter.
In her PEOPLE interview, Taylor reflected on her coming-out process and shared one regret: not embracing herself sooner.
“I was so afraid of judgment from other people, but I think I wish I was more afraid of not being myself sooner,” she said. “I feel like life is short, and it would be a bummer if you’re not able to be fully who you are.”
She went on to say that people would comment regardless of your sexual orientation. “So, just be who you want to be, love who you want to love, and if someone has an issue with it, that’s an internal thing that they need to figure out, because love is love and that’s all that matters.”
Taylor Is Focusing On Her Wellbeing After Talking About Eating Disorder

In addition to navigating her new life as a bisexual woman, Taylor admitted to continuing to focus on her health and wellbeing after previously confirming she struggled with an eating disorder.
According to The Blast, Taylor said she was focused on “getting in the right mental headspace” and working on having a “better relationship with my body and food in general.”
“I think being in the best mental headspace when you’re going into an environment like modeling where your body is out there, and people are open to making criticism of it, just making sure that you’re mentally good has been my top priority coming into this fashion week,” she said.

Conan O’Brien Still Won’t Watch the Moment His ‘Tonight Show’ Era Ended
When most people think about late-night talk shows, chances are they think of hilarious celebrity moments, funny maybe even cringe-worthy segments and a host that’s both entertaining and naturally charismatic. But while that might be true for these shows most of the time, late-night talk shows have also generated some major drama between their hosts. Most notably, things quickly soured between Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien in 2009 after O’Brien’s sudden exit from NBC.
It all began when, after hosting The Tonight Show for 17 years, Leno moved to an earlier timeslot and O’Brien finally became the host of The Tonight Show, a role he’d worked so hard and long for. O’Brien’s tenure on the seat, however, didn’t last long. After only seven months, ratings of his show and Leno’s were worrying NBC, and they pushed for a new schedule that had O’Brien’s show to 12:05 a.m. O’Brien objected to the after-midnight time slot, and NBC reached a settlement with him to end his contract. The decision was heartbreaking to O’Brien and his longtime fans. Not only did he just reach a major career milestone he worked so hard for, but it seems he never got the chance to fully give it a go. To this day, it’s still a sore subject for the host.
The End of His Talk Show Still Hits a Nerve
In a May 2025 interview with O’Brien on the Today Show, Jacob Soboroff sat down with O’Brien and asked if he ever saw his sendoff from The Tonight Show, which aired on February 20, 2009. “No, I can’t do it,” O’Brien said simply. “I’m proud of it, but I can’t. It was just a lot.” He then reflected on where his mindset was at the time. “That was a moment where I really did think, ‘Maybe it’s over for me,’” he said. At the time, O’Brien wasn’t shy about his grievances. “It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule,” O’Brien said in a statement, per CBS News. “But sadly, we were never given that chance.” After O’Brien’s departure as host, Leno resumed his hosting duties on The Tonight Show, a role he continued until 2014. Therefore, not only was the dream of hosting the prestige timeslot swiftly taken from O’Brien, but it was clear that NBC chose Leno over O’Brien, which ignited a feud and left fans up in arms.
At the time, fans immediately reacted to the host change-up. Fans cheering for “Team Conan” made it a major Twitter trend, and the “I’m With Coco” image went viral, and more than a million people joined the two major Facebook groups supporting him. Fans took their outrage to the streets too, with “I’m With Coco” rallies in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Seattle, many wearing orange in honor of O’Brien’s hair. At the Los Angeles rally, O’Brien himself even showed up and spoke with the crowd. In 2010, Leno also added fuel to the fire by admitting to his role in the situation. Speaking about the best prank he’s ever pulled on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Kimmel, he said, “I told a guy that five years from now I’m going to give you my show, and then when the five years came, I gave it to him, and then I took it back almost instantly.”
Of course, while O’Brien’s departure, and Leno’s attitude towards the situation, angered fans, O’Brien’s show wasn’t perfect either. After all, in the years prior to his time on The Tonight Show, O’Brien stood out because he was openly weird, self-deprecating, and often deliberately anti-polished. Unlike traditional late-night hosts in the past, O’Brien was kooky, different, and unapologetically himself. But, when he moved to NBC’s most prestigious late-night institution, his unique form of comedy was tested. The ratings expectations changed, the audience for the show changed, and, in turn, ratings started to dwindle. Seven months later, NBC pulled the plug.
O’Brien Has Been Reinventing Himself Ever Since
But while O’Brien’s departure from The Tonight Show had him questioning his career, he’s been producing great content and growing his fanbase ever since. His next step after leaving NBC was hosting Conan on TBS, and ran for an impressive 11 years. In the meantime, he also stepped outside his desk and hosted the Emmy-winning Conan Without Borders travel specials and his hugely successful podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. Soon enough, Team Coco grew into a larger digital comedy brand before being acquired by SiriusXM in 2022, and the podcast has since surpassed 660 million downloads.
His career reinvention continued to pay off when he hosted Conan O’Brien Must Go, a travel series that turned the Without Borders concept into a full-fledged hit and is now in its third season. O’Brien also made his major awards show host debut at the 2025 Oscars, bringing in 19.69 million viewers, its highest audience in five years. He returned to host again in 2026, and is already set to return for the 99th Academy Awards on March 14, 2027. He was also inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2025.
Ultimately, while perhaps no career success could make up for the heartbreak that was losing The Tonight Show in 2009, Conan O’Brien has been steadily making a name for himself outside the scandal ever since. While his departure was painful, his more untraditional career path became a remarkably successful second act, one that guaranteed he always had the freedom to be himself.

Sebastian Stan Credits This Oscar-Nominated Movie for His Mysterious ‘The Batman Part II’ Role [Exclusive]
Sebastian Stan is no stranger to superhero movies after spending more than a decade playing Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, his decision to cross the aisle for Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II was never simply about adding a DC role to his resume. Instead, the opportunity emerged from one of the most unexpected and transformative projects of Stan’s career. Stan joined director Cristian Mungiu at the Toronto International Film Festival this week to promote their new drama, Fjord, which follows a Romanian family living in Norway whose children are taken away by social services.
During an interview with Collider’s Perri Nemiroff at TIFF, Stan was asked what Reeves’ sequel could still offer him after his extensive history within the superhero genre. Although the actor carefully avoided revealing anything about his mysterious character, he did explain which previous performance caught Reeves’ attention. Stan revealed that his Oscar-nominated performance as Donald Trump in Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice directly sparked his conversations with Reeves. The actor never imagined the controversial biographical drama would eventually take him to Gotham City, but Reeves was already familiar with the filmmakers behind Stan’s more independent work. He explained:
“Well, you know what’s interesting is all these directors, they watch each other, believe it or not, even if they’re doing different sizes and stuff. Matt Reeves, he knows Cristian, and he knew Ali Abbasi. He was a big fan of The Apprentice, and that’s how that conversation started. I mean, not in a million years did I think that doing that movie was going to lead to me having a conversation with that director.”
‘The Apprentice’ Led Sebastian Stan to ‘The Batman Part II’
For Stan, blockbuster filmmaking and smaller character-driven projects are not opposing career paths, but parts of the same theatrical ecosystem. He argued that both types of movies ultimately depend on one another, particularly as the industry continues trying to convince audiences to return to theaters. While he could not offer any story details, Stan did assure fans that Reeves has approached the long-awaited The Batman sequel with considerable care:
“These worlds consistently collide, and I think the thing about these movies is those movies need these movies. And these movies, to some extent, need those. It’s an ecosystem that they all have to thrive in. It’s all for the better of getting people to the theater, which we have to do everything for. But again, if all I can say about the movie is that it’s just to say there’s real thought behind that movie, and Matt certainly has thought about it for three, four years.”
Stan joins a growing ensemble led by returning star Robert Pattinson, with Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry, and Sebastian Koch among the sequel’s new additions. Reeves returns to direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, while the identities of several new characters remain officially under wraps.
The Batman Part II is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 18, 2028. Stay tuned at Collider for the rest of Nemiroff’s conversation with Stan and Mungiu.

‘RHOC’ Shines The Spotlight On This Incredible Natural Wonder
While most people visit Las Vegas to do some gambling, enjoy the nightlife, and get away from colder temps for a fun getaway, there are other things to do not far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Vegas is also known for its beautiful scenery, great hiking trails, and picture-perfect sights just a short drive from the neon lights.
One place that outdoor enthusiasts should add to their to-do list when visiting Vegas is Grand Canyon West. Just a two-hour scenic drive from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, this is an amazing place to spend a day enjoying nature in a unique and memorable way.
In a recent episode of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” fans got to see the reality stars experience Grand Canyon West while they were on their Vegas girls’ trip.
When the housewives of Orange County visited Las Vegas for an episode, their adventure took them way off the Strip to see some amazing sights at Grand Canyon West.
The caption on Grand Canyon West’s Instagram post shared some information about what they did while visiting.
“The episode aired Thursday, August 20 on Bravo and shows the OC Housewives experiencing one of Grand Canyon West’s most recognizable attractions — the breathtaking Skywalk,” the caption reads.
“Located on the Hualapai Reservation just 2 hours east of Las Vegas, Grand Canyon West offers visitors an unforgettable opportunity to experience the beauty and adventure of the Grand Canyon from a unique perspective. During the episode, the Housewives take in the spectacular views from the glass Skywalk, which extends 70 feet over the canyon’s rim and offers a thrilling vantage point approximately 4,000 feet above the canyon floor below.”
They also explored the area a bit and did some ziplining.
‘They Were Fantastic’
Paul McGuire, Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer at Grand Canyon West, told The Blast exclusively that the housewives were a “hoot.”
“I actually brought them out to the Skywalk, to the arch of the Skywalk,” he said. “Tribal members brought out champagne and we all toasted to the housewives being there.”
He then broke the group into two smaller groups; one went ziplining and the other group went to Guano Point where they shared and opened up amongst themselves.
“I was there while they were having their conversations. It’s a lot more organic than I thought. My perception was it’s contrived and all that good stuff, but it was very, hey listen, have a chat about this and see where it goes,” McGuire told The Blast exclusively. “They were fantastic, by the way. The interaction amongst themselves, it’s a feeling like they’re a bunch of college girls doing their thing. They were fun, funny, really gracious, really sweet. We’d love to have them back.”
‘RHOC’ Wasn’t The Only Show To Film At Grand Canyon West

“RHOC” wasn’t the first to take advantage of the absolutely majestic and beautiful scenery to highlight on the show.
“Filming is a great opportunity. And coming from Vegas, filming and content creation and making the destination available to any and all is really important,” he said. “We make it easy for you to do business with us and shoot content.”
McGuire oversees the filming component of a visit. As long as it’s respectful to the tribe and the land, and the content is appropriate, he’s ready to say yes!
“An example of that is Disney. This past year, Disney came in. They have a new attraction called Soaring Around the World, where they feature prominently major experiences and destinations and we are represented there,” he shared. “We’ve had the Discovery Channel out. We were on ESPN and had Barstool Sports, National Geographic, Virgin Atlantic, and that’s just within this past year.”
Traveling From Las Vegas To Grand Canyon West Is Part Of The Experience

The adventure begins long before you arrive at Grand Canyon West if you’re taking the trip from Las Vegas. McGuire said there’s a misconception about just how far away it is from Sin City.
“I drive there at least once a week. It’s a beautiful scenic two-hour drive. You pass through Boulder City, where the community that built the Grand Canyon exists. You come upon Washoe Tree Forest, which is absolutely beautiful and stunning,” he said. “And then once you get there, your jaw just drops. We’ve all seen pictures of it, but nothing compares to actually physically being there. It’s literally one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the only one in North America.”
If you don’t want to drive from Vegas, there are other ways to get there that are just as scenic. There are bus tours that go from Vegas to Grand Canyon West, as well as a small plane or helicopter.
“You can actually fly from Boulder City in a fixed wing aircraft, and it’s about a 40-minute flight. You’re flying over Lake Mead and there’s also narration behind it, kind of telling you about the history in the background and what you’re seeing,” he said. “You can also get a helicopter from the Las Vegas airport. A bucket list experience for sure.”
There’s Plenty To Do And See At Grand Canyon West

A visit to Grand Canyon West isn’t just about taking in the beauty of the area. There are also other things to do while there.
One unique way to check out the sights is to take a walk on the iconic Skywalk. According to Grand Canyon West’s website, “You can step out on the 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extending 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. If you dare to look down, you’ll see breathtaking views 4,000 feet to the Canyon floor below.”
McGuire said it’s best to give yourself at least three hours to enjoy everything, depending on what you’re most interested in doing while visiting.
“Just the tranquility, I love just grabbing a sandwich or coffee and going out to Guano Point and just absorbing and taking it all in. There’s a sense of peace and serenity there for sure,” he said. “There’s a lot to do, a lot to take in, but just being there and seeing it with your own eyes is breathtaking.”
There’s also a zipline experience to enjoy, cafes and restaurants, Indigenous song and dance performances, walking trails, an arcade, and more.

Selena’s Brother AB Quintanilla Sues Sister Suzette For $1 Million
Selena‘s brother, A.B. Quintanilla III, has filed a $1 million lawsuit against his sister, Suzette Quintanilla Arriaga. The lawsuit was filed in Nueces County, Texas, on Thursday, September 10.

Selena’s Brother Files $1 Million Lawsuit Against Sister Suzette
A.B. Quintanilla III filed a $1 million lawsuit against his sister, Suzette, on Thursday in Texas, according to KSAT. Selena was murdered by a fan and former employee, Yolanda Saldívar, back in 1995, and A.B. claims he’s being denied his 25-percent share of her estate. The siblings rose to fame with their sister as musicians in their Tejano band, Selena y Los Dinos.
The lawsuit contends that an “Estate Properties Agreement” was signed by the family following the singer’s death. Quintanilla claims two companies run by the pair’s late father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr. — Q Production, Inc. and Q Productions — are now run by Suzette. He claims that his sister slowly began taking over back in 2016, and subsequently, he was underpaid.
A.B. claims he noticed the alleged underpayments back in the spring of 2025 and asked for a full accounting report from Suzette. The complaint states that the defendants refused to provide the complete report, and he’s suing for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty in the amount of $1 million. In addition, he is also asking for lawyer fees and a jury trial.
The musician first announced his intent in both English and Spanish with a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Suzette Quintanilla Responds In Joint Statement With Marcella Quintanilla
After his initial statement on Sept. 1, Suzette reacted to her brother’s claims with an official statement on Instagram the following day. Furthermore, her mother, Marcella Quintanilla, co-signed the statement, and they denied A.B.’s claim.
“We have seen A.B.’s recent public statement,” reads the statement “Because it contains serious and false insinuations concerning Suzette, Abraham, and our family, we feel it is necessary to correct the record.”
“Marcella has never before felt the need to publicly address private family matters. She is doing so now because statements involving her late husband, her daughter, and her family should not be allowed to stand when they are false. A.B. states that there is a lawsuit involving Suzette and that a legal process began several months ago. Suzette has never been served with any lawsuit. She has received no court-filed complaint, summons, petition, or other legal pleading concerning the allegations A.B. is describing….. What lawsuit? Where was it filed? What is the case number? A.B. also refers repeatedly to ‘years’ of family circumstances, ‘facts,’ and ‘evidence’ while making serious insinuations concerning Suzette, his father, and this family. Those insinuations are false. There was no theft by Suzette. Suzette has not stolen, misappropriated, or improperly taken money or property belonging to A.B., Abraham, Marcella, Chris, Selena’s estate, or any family-owned or jointly owned business.”
The Sept. 2 statement also noted that “Suzette is not selling, and has no intention of selling” the late singer’s personal belongings. They also said they were “unaware of any wrongdoing by Abraham” that supports what A.B. claims. Not only that, but they said words like “‘facts’ and ‘evidence’ have meaning.”
“If A.B. has evidence that Suzette stole or misappropriated anything, he should present it….. We love A.B. He is our son and brother. But loving someone does not require us to accept false accusations or remain silent while the reputations of Suzette, Abraham, and our family are called into question. We will continue to protect our family, Abraham’s memory, Selena’s legacy, and the truth. – Marcella Quintanilla and Suzette Quintanilla”
An early report from The Los Angeles Times said it was not able to find any lawsuit in Nueces County, Texas related to Suzette. However, as mentioned, KSAT reports the filing date as September 10, 2026.
A.B. Quintanilla III Doubles Down In Follow-Up Post
Selena’s brother shared another post on Wednesday, September 2. on Instagram, and he told Suzette, “DON’T LIE” in all capital letters. He also shared the post in Spanish and claimed that his sister was notified, despite her claim otherwise.
“DON’T LIE SUZETTE AND HER LAWYERS WERE NOTIFIED WITH THE CORRESPONDING DOCUMENTS VIA CERTIFIED MAIL AND ELECTRONIC MAIL,” he wrote. “SHE WAS NOTIFIED OF A LAWSUIT RELATED TO HER FIDUCIARY DUTIES, THAT IS, HER LEGAL OBLIGATIONS TO ACT WITH LOYALTY, TRANSPARENCY AND IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THOSE SHE WAS RESPONSIBLE TO. SHE RESPONDED, BUT DID NOT PROVIDE WHAT WAS BEING REQUESTED: CONTRACTS, DOCUMENTATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION. THOSE FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS WERE LEFT UNANSWERED. WHAT SHE DID UNDER THE EXCUSE OF USING MY MOM FOR CONVENIENCE. SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS REALLY HAPPENING AROUND HER AND NEVER HAD ANY PARTICIPATION IN ANYTHING. THIS FRIDAY MY LAWYER WILL SPEAK OUT AND MANY THINGS WILL BE MADE CLEAR. SINCERELY, ABRAHAM QUINTANILLA III.”
According to TMZ, Suzette has not yet responded the lawsuit filing.

As someone who is 5’3″, I’ve learned that not every fall dress is ideal for a petite frame (no matter how much I want to make it happen). Dresses with too much fabric quickly swallow me up, which is why I gravitate toward shorter hems, defined waists and lengthening silhouettes. I also give out bonus points if I can wear the styles before fall actually arrives.
The 17 stylish dresses on my list feature the petite-friendly designs that look great on my shorter frame. Think flirty minis, cinched wrap styles and expensive-looking knits that bridge the gap between late-summer heat and crisp fall days. And with prices starting at $7, transitioning my closet with these flattering dresses won’t mean blowing my fall shopping budget.
17 Petite-Friendly Dresses for the Summer-to-Fall Transition
1. My Favorite: This olive mini dress is exactly what I want to wear during those not-so-quite fall days. The higher waist helps visually lengthen legs, while the short, flowy skirt won’t overwhelm a petite frame.
2. Paisley Pick: I’m trading bright summer florals for this paisley-print dress. The brown and orange tones instantly give it an autumnal feel, while the flowy skirt keeps it light enough for those still-warm September days.
3. Legs for Days: I’m taking full advantage of mini dress season before tights become necessary. This ribbed sweater dress shows plenty of leg, and the fitted waist creates an extra-flattering shape.
4. Wrap Star: I’ll never say ‘no’ to a wrap mini dress, especially when it comes in this gorgeous emerald green. The tie waist lets you customize the fit while simultaneously creating an hourglass appearance.
5. Sweet Spots: I almost missed the tiny polka dots on this emerald wrap dress, but they’re my favorite part. The sheer sleeves and ruffle hem give it a playful twist.
6. Cream Dream: There’s something about a cream cable-knit dress that instantly makes fall outfits look more expensive. This sweater dress turns the classic into an entire outfit. Bonus: The mini length keeps it proportional.
7. Rich Mom Knit: This luxe-looking mini is like something a rich mom would wear for a fall lunch at the country club. The defined waist and flared mini skirt give it that polished, perfectly put-together shape.
8. Sweet Swirls: I’m already picturing how good this belted mini dress will look in motion. The floaty skirt brings the drama, and the defined waist keeps all that volume from swallowing my frame.
9. Desk to Dinner: I love a dress that doesn’t require an outfit change after work. This caramel midi dress looks polished enough for the office, but the V-neckline and waist-cinching tie make it cute enough for dinner afterward.
10. Trending Now: I’m seeing chocolate brown everywhere this fall, so naturally this lace-detail sweater dress caught my eye. The peekaboo hem gives the oversized silhouette a flirty twist.
11. Plaid Please: Nothing gets me into fall mode faster than a little plaid. This green sweater dress sneaks the print onto the neckline and hem, giving the cozy ribbed knit a preppy feel.
12. Season Switch: I’m not packing away every summer dress just yet. This navy floral mini only needs a suede bag and boots to make the jump from sunny afternoons to crisp fall weekends.
13. Snatched in Sage: When I’m not in the mood for head-to-toe brown, I’m grabbing this sage green dress that feels perfect for the seasonal shift. The waist-cinching silhouette also looks so cute with tall boots.
14. Romantic Type: This muted floral dress is giving me romantic fall weekend energy. The soft brown blooms, sheer sleeves and ruffled skirt would look so pretty for a date night, bridal shower or early-fall wedding.
15. Seeing Spots: This spotted mini dress is a fun break from all the florals I usually reach for in early fall. The warm caramel palette feels seasonal, while the tiered skirt keeps it playful and breezy.
16. Looks Expensive: This ivory knit dress is giving me major designer energy without the designer price tag. The gold-tone buttons and faux-pocket details make the simple silhouette look instantly more luxe.
17. Petite Steal: Finding a longer dress that won’t overwhelm my frame is already a win — scoring one for $7 is even better. This green midi dress is designed with a higher waist to break up the length and elongate proportions.

Adam Wingard Says ‘ThunderCats’ Movie Is “Not Dead,” Reveals New Script Draft
Adam Wingard’s long-in-development ThunderCats movie is still alive, and the filmmaker has revealed that work on a new version of the script took place earlier this year.
While promoting his latest film, Onslaught, Wingard provided an update on the status of the ThunderCats adaptation, which he has been attached to direct for Warner Bros. since 2021.
“My career’s kind of bouncing around, so different things have taken precedence. But [ThunderCats is] still kicking around,” Wingard said. “I think it’s just a matter of finding time to really re-concentrate and re-engage with it.”
More importantly, Wingard revealed that another draft of the screenplay was completed earlier this year before the project was temporarily pushed aside.
“We did a new draft at the beginning of this year. It wasn’t too long ago, and then things got put on hold for this movie [Onslaught],” Wingard explained.
Despite the delay, the director made it clear that his ambitious adaptation has not been abandoned.

“So I don’t really have any exciting updates. But it’s not dead. It lives. It’s just not the number one [thing] I’m working on right now.”
Wingard is developing the film alongside longtime collaborator Simon Barrett. The pair previously worked together on films including The Guest and Godzilla vs. Kong.
The latest comments provide a more concrete update following Wingard’s previous assurances that the project remained in development. In May, Coastal House Media reported on Wingard’s continued plans for the film and his vision of bringing the characters to life through a combination of CGI and live-action filmmaking.
Wingard has previously described ThunderCats as a passion project, having been a fan of the original animated series since childhood.
The filmmaker’s project should also not be confused with the animated ThunderCats feature announced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation earlier this year. That project was revealed during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June.
For now, Wingard’s ThunderCats still has no announced cast or release date, and the director’s comments suggest fans could still have a significant wait ahead of them.
However, confirmation that a new screenplay draft was completed as recently as 2026 offers something ThunderCats fans haven’t had much of in recent years: tangible evidence that work on the project has continued.
