General Hospital: 3 Couples Heat Things Up as Port Charles Freezes – Steamy Snow Day Romance!

General Hospital has a blizzard heading into Port Charles, and it is going to really shake things up. This storm leaves three couples trapped. And at least two of them will be forced to face their feelings.

General Hospital: Huge Blizzard Rocks Port Charles

This week, a big storm hits Port Charles. And it’s going to trap three couples together, pushing them to get closer than ever before. We’ve got some heroics coming from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) as they get alone time with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). Plus, there’s a third couple trapped together that may spark, if only for a moment.

Jason Plays Hero for Britt Westbourne During the Port Charles Blizzard

First, let’s talk about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). These two were finally getting somewhere. They had a date night where Britt won a kiss while throwing axes. And they were on the road to a serious romance. However, creepy Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) told Britt she needs to disappear and cut Jason out of her life, or Cullum is going to do it for her.

The WSB chief not only threatened Jason’s life, but he hit where it hurts Britt the most by threatening Rocco Falceroni (Finn Frances Carr), too. Britt is terrified, which is why she put on that big show. She picked a fight with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) so she could tell Jason they’re done and to stay away from her. She even pulled that stunt at the hospital this week, saying, “Go away. I’ll take out a restraining order.” Of course, all of this is the last thing that Britt actually wants.

Jason Isn’t Buying what Britt is Selling

Jason has figured out that something is up. This week, he told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he knows Britt is being coerced into finishing Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) project. Jason wants to put Britt under surveillance because he realizes she has a good reason for pushing him away. Official General Hospital spoilers say Jason is a man on a mission and that he’s going to play hero soon.

Britt was last seen over at Wyndemere because Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) summoned her to get to work in the lab. But Britt told Marco the lab needs more safety equipment, so I don’t think she’s going to stick around. We know from the General Hospital promo for the superstorm that Jason is going to be taking care of a very wet and cold Britt. It looks like Jason saves Britt from freezing in the blizzard. And they wind up somewhere dry and warm. It looks to me like it might be one of his and Sonny’s safe houses.

Britt Rattled & Jason Connects the Dots on GH

Britt is clearly shaken up. And other spoilers say Jason figures something out. He just told Sonny he thinks Britt is pushing him away to protect him. When Jason saves Britt and they’re stranded in the blizzard, I expect Jason is going to break down the walls she has built around herself. Spoilers for the blizzard say that when she is stranded with Jason, her resolve to keep her secrets is tested.

Britt may go ahead and admit everything to Jason. I suspect sparks will fly and Britt and Jason may really heat up as the snow and ice piles up outside. I’m rooting for them. And I hope Britt finally tells Jason everything. Britt might even spill the beans just to prove to Jason he can’t help her—that the issues she’s dealing with are too much even for him. She’s in over her head and doesn’t want to pull Jason down with her, but I bet he’s going to surprise Britt and be her dark knight in shining armor.

General Hospital: Nathan and Lulu Get Close While Stranded in the Storm

Now, let’s talk about another pair that gets close this week: Nathan and Lulu. Nathan has known Lulu for years because Nathan was married to Lulu’s best friend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Nathan was also best friends with Lulu’s former husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). They’ve always been friends and used to hang out as couples, but then Nathan and Lulu both had years of their lives stolen from them. She lost four years and Nathan lost seven.

We’ve seen Lulu and Nathan bonding over this while he hung out at her house, keeping her and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) safe from the threat of fugitive Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Now, we know Maxie is in a coma. Nathan hasn’t been to visit her. And he knows Maxie was in love with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Plus, I’m not sure that’s really Nathan. Clearly, there’s still missing info about his missing years that have me doubting who he is. I know it’s his face, but who’s driving that ship?

Lulu Rebuffed by Dante on GH

As far as Lulu goes, she wanted to reconcile with Dante, but he was first still grieving Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death. When Dante was in a better place, he still rejected Lulu. Dante made it painfully clear to Lulu that she’s in the friend zone and they’re just co-parents. They’re getting along okay. And while Lulu was mad about it at first, she realizes it is what it is. Right now, Nathan is closer to Lulu than he is to Maxie, and Lulu is closer to Nathan than she is to Dante.

This week, Charlotte gets a moment alone with Carly and wants an update on Valentin. Carly tells Charlotte if she wants to help her papa, she just needs to stay safe. This week, we’re going to see Lulu turning to Nathan for help after Charlotte ditches her PCPD guards and takes off again. Lulu is desperate to find her daughter and is worried Valentin will get her.

Massive Chemistry Between Lulu & Nathan on General Hospital

On New Year’s Eve, we saw Lulu and Nathan having mad chemistry. They were sparking while he was on guard at her house. And they had that heart-to-heart talk. While out looking for Charlotte this week, the blizzard hits and Lulu and Nathan get a lot closer when they’re stranded at a cafe.

Official General Hospital spoilers tell us that Lulu and Nathan end up in a clinch together. This means Lulu is going to be in Nathan’s arms. Other spoilers say that he lets his guard down and Lulu makes a confession. They might get cuddly for body heat in the storm. And then it goes further.

They might admit that they’re drawn to each other even though the whole situation is messy and complicated. Other spoilers tell us that two people share their first kiss, and it could be Nathan and Lulu. With Maxie about to wake up in mid-February right in the middle of sweeps, it’ll be super soapy if Lulu and Nathan start a romance just as she wakes up.

Carly & Valentin Sizzle During a Dangerous Snow Day

Now, let’s talk about the third couple trapped in the blizzard that might heat up. These are two people who have been conspiring together and breaking the law together, but there hasn’t been any kind of romantic action between them yet. That could change because in the blizzard promo this week, we see that Carly and Valentin are stuck in her house together.

They’re looking outside at the big winter storm. We know Carly has had it with Brennan; she actually hates the guy and is disgusted that she still has to sleep with him occasionally to keep the whole ruse going. Carly and Valentin have been bonding, so maybe they are the ones who smooch. Knowing they can let down their guard might lead to them relaxing and opening up over a bottle of wine or vodka.

With Port Charles shut down, Carly and Valentin know they won’t be interrupted. Nobody’s going to show up and invade her house, or they may even hang out in the attic. We’ll see. I think it’d be hot to see Carly and Valentin do some sizzling and hit the sheets, even if it’s just a one-off session of snow day sex. We’ll see.
