While Deep Space Nine is the best Star Trek show, the ambitious spinoff needed some time to really find its identity. As such, many of the earlier episodes aren’t all that memorable, including “Cardassians,” which increased our understanding of the titular aliens. The episode has a solid enough rating (currently 7.5 on IMDB), but let’s face it: nobody is putting “Cardassians” down as one of their favorite episodes of the franchise.
However, this largely forgotten tale is actually one of the most important episodes of Deep Space Nine because it fleshed out the character of Garak, who makes only his second appearance on the show. Garak actor Andy Robinson did a killer job, impressing both the fans and the staff. He also impressed future DS9 showrunner Ira Steven Behr, who confirmed this was the episode that convinced producers to keep bringing Garak back to the show.

To put it mildly, Garak is a character absolutely beloved by Star Trek fans, and for good reason. As a former spy turned tailor, he has one of the coolest backstories of anyone in the franchise. He also plays an increasingly prominent role in Deep Space Nine, like when he helps Sisko convince the Romulans to start fighting the Dominion. In this way, he might have helped to save billions of lives. Because he is so important to the show, many DS9 fans are shocked to discover that he only appears in 37 episodes. However, he would have appeared in far fewer episodes if not for the forgotten episode “Cardassians.”
In case you need a refresher, “Cardassians” is a Season 2 episode where the DS9 crew must deal with the strange case of a Cardassian boy who has been raised by Bajoran parents. Gul Dukat shows up to try to reunite the boy with his biological father, resulting in a tribunal to determine who should get custody. Garak quietly investigates the case and eventually uncovers evidence that Dukat himself had the boy abandoned on Bajor years ago in a ploy to eventually humiliate his father, a political rival.

“Cardassians” was only Garak’s second appearance on the show. Previously, he appeared in the Season 1 episode “Past Prologue.” Played by Hellraiser icon Andrew Robinson, Garak was a popular character with Deep Space Nine’s writers, but he didn’t become a mainstay until “Cardassians.” That’s largely because, according to The Deep Space Nine Log Book: A First Season Companion, his appearance in this episode really impressed future showrunner Ira Steven Behr.
Behr admitted that “I didn’t have a lot of faith in this show at first. It was such an issue-oriented show that I thought it would oversimplify a complicated issue.” However, he eventually realized that “Cardassians” was “not only a chance to bring back Garak but to do this whole weird little number with what is going on between him and Dukat.” He thought this helped Deep Space Nine finally “[nail] the character” of Garak. Furthermore, Behr claimed, “I knew after that happened we were going to see a lot of Andy Robinson, who’s become quite popular on staff.”

In Season 1, Garak was a one-off DS9 character who it seemed like we would never see again. However, Andrew Robinson was so good in his second appearance that he impressed the entirety of the show’s staff, including future showrunner Ira Steven Behr. Because of that, he began appearing more and more throughout the rest of the show, eventually becoming pivotal to the development of several characters and the show’s popular Dominion War arc.
Did Andrew Robinson secretly plan to woo the staff with his second appearance, securing himself years of episode appearances and a lifetime of fame as one of Star Trek’s best characters? Of course not. After all, my dear doctor, he’s just a plain, simple actor!
Beyond the Gates weekly spoilers for March 23rd through the 27th reveal Anita Dupree‘s (Tamara Tunie) death demand and a major new character unveiled that we’ve all been waiting on.
On Monday, March 23rd, it’s season two, episode 54 of BTG, and we have Anita’s side effects get drastically worse, and she is going to wind up admitted to the hospital this week. Her overall health condition seems to be worse. I don’t know if it’s specifically the cancer is worse or just the side effects are just too taxing on her body. And Vernon Dupree‘s (Clifton Davis) wife gets really despondent about what’s ahead.
Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) gets an urgent call from someone over at the hospital and I think it’s going to be Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) related to this whole Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) issue. So this week Smitty’s talking to Jacob and says, “Listen to me. We made this deal that if things get out of hand, if things get dangerous, then we would pull the plug.” And then Smitty tells Jacob, “Look, it is dangerous.”
Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) have a heart-to-heart, and I’m interested to see if Anita told Dani that she had a meaningful chat with Bill, or maybe Vernon mentioned it. I’m sure that Bill’s going to admit that he’s heartbroken over Anita’s cancer.
But of course, we know that Hayley Lawson Hamilton (Marquita Goings) hates when Bill gets closer to anybody but her and especially the Duprees. Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) comforts Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) in her time of need. She is still really distraught over Deanna McBride’s (Angela Fairley) attitude.
And Vanessa tells Joey that sometimes she wonders if this is a dream you wake up from right when it gets good. And Joey tells Vanessa, “Let’s find out.” I think he is falling hard. But of course, he’s sitting on that big secret that he offed her hubby. And I’m assuming that’s a deal breaker.
Tuesday, March 24th, it’s season 2, episode 55 of Beyond the Gates. And Anita tells Vernon she doesn’t want to keep fighting and she wants a DNR. If you don’t know the acronym, that is a do not resuscitate order. That means if you flatline, no paddles, no CPR, they just let you expire.
Grayson has to deliver a message that is dangerous. And I wonder if it’s to Jacob or somebody else. You know, his boss at the hospital, the chief Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) to me seems like she’s clearly overseeing the plasma ring, and I kind of suspect she’s doing it in conjunction with Joey, and she’s not going to let anything get in the way. This woman is a monster.
Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Nixon) is devastated, and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is there for her. So, Kat might have been on hand when Anita collapsed and took the downturn that is going to send her to Garland Memorial this week. And Kat is obviously going to be very worried about Anita and the DNR since she has been helping Vernon with caretaking her grandma.
Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Dani get really, really bad news from Vernon. And of course, it’s about Anita and the DNR. Vernon doesn’t want it. He wants her to keep fighting, but he tells Dani and Nicole that he has never been able to stop Anita from what she wants a day in their lives.
And ultimately, it is her choice. But the family may all raise their objections to her stopping the fight so soon. But chemo is a beast if you’ve been through it yourself or if you’ve had a loved one go through it. It is truly terrible and unfortunately the frontline treatment for these diseases.
Wednesday, March 25th on Beyond the Gates, it’s season 2, episode 56. So, an unlikely person offers Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) some advice. And it’d be interesting if it were Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) since they’ve been on the outs because he went chasing after Nicole like 2 seconds after she and Ted broke up.
I think Dr. Kyle Rollins (Greg Vaughan) would also be an odd choice since he is also seeing Nicole. The weirdest person to give any advice to Ted, of course, would be Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann) because she is bat crap crazy and I can’t see her giving good advice to anybody.
Hayley is stunned when Bill tells her that he is reconsidering their future. He’s rethinking things. So, I wonder if that recent life and death conversation with Anita has Bill thinking maybe he doesn’t want any more kids or, you know, it may be the after effects of his chat with Dani. But Hayley is about to see everything go slipping through her fingers and I am here for it.
The Dupree family is there to surround and support Anita and shelter her with their love. And of course, we know that Vernon and Dani and Nicole don’t want the DNR, but in the end, it is Anita’s choice, not the choice of anybody else in the family.
Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) is pleased when things go her way. That may be her with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry), or it may be that her charges are officially dropped. You know, you think Hayley’s the worst thing on BTG. And then Lynette says, “Hold my beer.” Also this week, we have got Hayley and Tomas arguing over Lynette.

Thursday, March 26 is season 2, episode 57 of Beyond the Gates. And Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) has some uplifting news to give somebody. And I wonder if Grayson’s mom got into Dr. Madison Montgomery’s (Kenjah McNeil) Parkinson’s medication trial. And of course, just because you’re in a clinical trial doesn’t mean you get the protocol because a lot of people have to get the placebo, which is a big fat nothing, and that’s got to be scary.
Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) talks to his mom and has to stand up for Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). This is the new character that I mentioned at the top of the video. So, we are finally going to get to lay eyes on Izaiah and Jacob’s mom.
This is going to be Elon Hawthorne’s (Malachi Malik) wife. Her name is Darlene Hawthorne. We have not seen her before, but as of when I tape this, they still haven’t said who’s going to be playing the role. I’m very excited. And because they haven’t leaked out who it’s going to be, I wonder if it’s going to be somebody big that we’re all going to be like, “Ooh, I can’t believe they got her.” Something like that.
Meanwhile, Jacob tries to get critical information from Grayson. If you remember, the cops are after the big fish, the top bosses of the plasma ring. Grayson’s basically just a grunt. Wouldn’t it be wild if she was also his ex-wife who cheated on him? I hope not, but that’d be an interesting twist.
Bill is asked for something stunning. And Leslie chews out Vernon. No doubt, about the construction being stopped on her house. I don’t like Leslie’s taste, but I have to say I wouldn’t mind having a statue of David with Idris Elba’s face like she was planning. He is one of my favorite all-time actors. So gorgeous. If you haven’t seen him on Luther, he is everything. And if you loved Idris in Luther, he’s making a follow-up movie for Netflix.
Ted and Kat reach an understanding on Thursday. And it may be about her ongoing hatred for her sister, Eva. I’m sure that he understands Kat’s hatred for Leslie because Ted’s right there with her. But he’s not down for her hating on her sister. And in fact, most people around Kat keep telling her to stop.
Friday, March 27th on Beyond the Gates, we’re going to wrap up the week with season 2, episode 58. Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) has some things to say to Izaiah. And we’ll see if this is about Jacob because they ran into each other while he was undercover. But Izaiah has no idea his brother’s on a sting operation. He may bring it up to Naomi, who may freak out.
Smitty comforts somebody in the family. Jacob is in an uncomfortable situation. Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don’t thing. Dani has news for Nicole that takes her by surprise. And Vernon gives his blessing on a matter concerning Bill. That’s kind of huge and it’s kind of unexpected.

Across seven seasons and 74 episodes, Virgin River’s Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) have been through many ups and downs. From personal tragedies and complicated pasts to unexpected twists in their relationship, the pair have consistently found their way back to each other. Although Season 7, which premiered two weeks ago, saw the couple step into a more stable phase of their lives, it wasn’t all rosy as the finale delivered an unexpected twist.
Not to give too much away, the Season 7 finale of Virgin River saw Mel and Jack finally welcome their adopted son into the world. However, he was born with a heart defect, requiring immediate surgery and hinting at a difficult road ahead. Many longtime fans may see this as unfair to the lovebirds who have endured a lot on their road to parenthood — including a stillbirth, multiple miscarriages, and a dramatic IVF process. Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith is aware of what he has put these beloved characters through over the years, but he has his reasons, which he voiced in a recent interview, saying:
“With Mel being the nurse that she is, and Jack having the strength that he does, I always felt like a baby that needed extra help was the perfect baby for them. If it was too easy, I don’t think it would be as compelling or unique. We do throw a lot at them, but we also want to see their resilience and their perseverance. That’s what I hope inspires the audience to get through their own lives, because I’ve had plenty of moments where I’m just like, ‘Are you kidding me? Could you throw more at me?’ And then I get one or two more things thrown at me, and you’ve just got to keep going. Mel and Jack have each other, and they can get through anything together.”
All 10 episodes of Virgin River Season 7 premiered on March 12, 2026, and the series was renewed for an eighth season a year earlier. While a premiere date for the upcoming chapter hasn’t been announced, it was previously reported that two major stars won’t be returning. Marco Grazzini, who has portrayed Mike Valenzuela for five seasons of Virgin River, the last four as a series regular, is leaving, much to fans’ disappointment. Lauren Hammersley won’t be back for Season 8 either, after playing Charmaine for the entire seven-season run. Hammersley was a series regular for the first four seasons and recurred thereafter.
All seasons of Virgin River are available on Netflix. Follow Collider for more news.

Last year I decided I hadn’t seen enough Philip Seymour Hoffman movies. The late Academy Award winner has been called one of the greatest actors of his generation, despite usually appearing in supporting roles, rather than bolstering films as the lead. While tracking down films I hadn’t yet seen to cross off my list, I stumbled across Charlie Wilson’s War, which I rented on YouTube. The movie was so eerily prescient that it feels like it was intentionally crafted with today’s politics in mind, so it’s a shame that it isn’t currently streaming on Netflix or any of the major streaming outlets.

Charlie Wilson’s War is a true story biopic about U.S. Congressman Charlie Wilson, who worked alongside the CIA to support Afghan mujahideen militants during the Soviet-Afghan War. It’s a topic that I wasn’t especially familiar with before watching the movie, having been born nearly two decades after this real-life conflict began. Still, the narrative felt all too familiar to me, since it showcases something that’s been endlessly repeating in American politics for the last 60 years or so.
Tom Hanks portrays the title character, while Philip Seymour Hoffman takes on the role of CIA operative Gust Avrakotos. At the start of the film, Charlie Wilson is more concerned with partying and hooking up with strippers than doing his actual job. He even incurs the wrath of a young Rudy Giuliani, who opens a federal investigation into Wilson’s misconduct with drugs and alcohol. After meeting with a few Houston socialites in his party circles, Charlie changes his tune and is convinced to take on a crusade to help the Afghan people fight against a Soviet occupation overseas.

Throughout the narrative, we see Charlie Wilson fending off the possibility of impeachment, lobbying Congress to send more funds and weapons to the Afghans, and working closely with the CIA to ensure foreign nations such as Israel and Egypt assist in the war effort. I would have thought that a congressman putting in this much work was science fiction if I hadn’t looked it up myself, and he managed to do it all with a massive hangover. Over the course of the film, the CIA’s anti-communism budget balloons to $500 million annually, effectively kicking off the Reagan Doctrine, which spread American influence across nations at risk of undergoing communist revolution.
Towards the end of Charlie Wilson’s War, the Afghans emerge victorious, and American parties intend to pull support for the region once the dust settles. Gust and Charlie work to ensure that the U.S. puts some of its Reagan Doctrine money into rebuilding roads, schools, and hospitals, and not just exploding them, but the American taxpayer wants no part of it. In the end, it seems like a major victory for all anti-communist parties, but America’s failure to aid in reconstruction sets the stage for extremist groups to take hold, directly resulting in the rise of global terrorism and eventually the September 11 attacks in 2001.

I won’t get too political here, but I will say that Charlie Wilson’s War is a hard watch given our current political climate. As the U.S. prepares to engage in a boots-on-the-ground war with Iran, aided by Israel, to fight against a Middle Eastern government that only exists due to American meddling in the first place, Charlie Wilson’s War is all too prescient. The movie highlights the ways in which our government, which loves to drop bombs but hates to erect buildings after the rubble is cleared, has been making the same mistakes for decades.

Even still, Charlie Wilson’s War is an excellent watch with an incredible cast and a fascinating story. It’s also surprisingly funny, with a number of well-choreographed fast-paced sequences that feel like they’ve been pulled straight out of Archer. If you’re not up on this period of history, you should absolutely track down this movie and give it a watch. It made nearly $120 million at the global box office on a budget of $75 million and garnered a host of Oscar buzz upon release. Given that Charlie Wilson’s War was so lauded in 2007, it’s a bit of a head scratcher that streaming services don’t seem interested in highlighting it.

As of this writing, Charlie Wilson’s War can be rented or purchased on-demand through YouTube, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
Top OnlyFans creators are reacting to the death of Leo Radvinsky, the platform’s billionaire owner, who died after a long battle with cancer.
Among them, Sophie Rain shared a heartwarming tribute, stating that the platform changed her financial situation.
Radvinsky, who acquired OnlyFans’ parent company in 2018, played a key role in its growth, allowing creators to earn directly from subscribers and keep a large share of their revenue.

Top OnlyFans creators are mourning the loss of Leo Radvinsky, the platform’s elusive founder, who passed away Monday after a “long battle with cancer.”
Among those paying tribute is Sophie Rain, one of the site’s top earners, who credited Radvinsky with completely changing her life.
“I don’t even know how to put this into words,” she told the New York Post. “That man built something that changed my entire life. Like, I grew up on food stamps, and now I can take care of my whole family because of a platform he created. I will never forget that.”
Before joining OnlyFans, Rain shared that she worked as a waitress, struggling to pay rent. “That platform gave me everything. And that doesn’t happen without someone building it in the first place,” she added.
Although Rain never met Radvinsky in person, she emphasized that her success is entirely thanks to the platform he created. “Sending so much love to his family. This is really, really sad,” she concluded.
A spokesperson for OnlyFans confirmed Radvinsky passed away peacefully following a prolonged battle with cancer, noting that his family has requested privacy.
Known for keeping a low profile, Radvinsky was born in Ukraine and raised in Chicago, later earning a degree in economics from Northwestern University.
He took control of OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International, in 2018, stepping in as director and majority owner. Under his leadership, the platform transformed the adult content industry, giving creators a direct way to monetize their work while retaining a significant share of their earnings.
The success of the platform played a major role in building his estimated $4.7 billion fortune. Beyond OnlyFans, Radvinsky was also active as an angel investor and contributed to various philanthropic efforts around the world.

Meanwhile, Rain, who reportedly earned $95 million between 2023 and 2025, continues to dominate the platform. She revealed in an interview with the New York Post that she made around $23 million last year alone.
Still, she has drawn clear boundaries when it comes to her content. Despite frequent requests from subscribers, she says she refuses to film with men, stressing that she “never will.”
“Honestly, I don’t want to do that,” Rain said, noting that her decision is rooted in her personal values as a practicing Christian.
Instead, Rain has carved out a niche with suggestive, non-nude content, describing her style as more “lingerie-bikini level suggestive teasing.”

Interestingly, some of her most popular content is also the simplest. Rain said fans often pay for everyday videos of her doing routine things like getting ready or moving through her day.
She also shared that her earnings aren’t just coming from volume, but from a few extremely generous fans.
One in particular, a subscriber named Charley, has reportedly sent her over $5 million to date, including $4.7 million within just 11 months.
Rain says they communicate almost daily, though she keeps things surface-level. “We pretty much talk almost every single day,” she explained. “But we don’t ever get on a personal level. I don’t know how old he is. I do know that he has a wife, though.”

Not all fan interactions have been positive, however. Rain recalled a frightening incident involving a man who broke into her Airbnb, believing they were married.
The situation escalated to court, where he was reportedly deemed mentally unwell. “That was definitely very scary,” she said.
Looking ahead, Rain is already planning for life beyond OnlyFans. The 22-year-old recently purchased a $2.7 million home in Tampa and hopes to turn the 20-acre property into a farm.
“I want to have a giant farm and just retire and just take care of all my animals. I’m already trying to start building my farm. I have two cows now, but I’m eventually gonna get 10,” Rain stated.
A Texas man has been arrested amid suspicions that he was behind the murder of his “missing” girlfriend, who may have been buried in Oklahoma.
Christopher Charles Sanders was arrested on March 7 in connection to the suspected murder of missing person Molly Richards, according to the arrest affidavit viewed by the Denton Record-Chronicle.
Richards, 31, was reported missing on January 5. Her father told authorities that the last time he saw her was on November 18, 2025. He said he received text messages from her phone the following week that concerned him, per the affidavit.
The father contacted the Corinth Police Department to report her missing, and he also mentioned text messages he exchanged with Richards’ boyfriend, Sanders.
He showed officers text messages that came from Richards’ phone on November 27, 2025, which shared her plans to travel to South Dakota with Sanders, 53.
Another message was sent to her father from her phone on December 1, 2025, which stated she was going to a mental health facility. Sanders then allegedly sent her father a text two days later that said Richards was not at a mental health facility. Sanders allegedly added that he told Richards to call her father.
The father messaged Sanders multiple times in December 2025 and asked for information about Richards’ whereabouts, though Sanders did not respond to some of the messages. In a December 16, 2025, message, he allegedly told Richards’ father that she was “offered a few jobs and was reviewing Mental health places.”
The father claimed to police that Sanders was physically abusive toward Richards during their relationship, which lined up with Little Elm police report officers’ claims that they saw Richards with possible strangulation marks on her body before she disappeared.
Law enforcement agencies across state lines have spent the last three months looking for digital evidence that may lead to Richards’ whereabouts as her body has not yet been recovered. Meanwhile, authorities have also monitored Sanders, searched for eyewitnesses and tracked Richards’ vehicle’s movements throughout the investigation.
As the investigation continued, police started to believe that Richards was not missing but was instead murdered. Authorities also grew to suspect that Sanders was responsible for Richards’ death, per the affidavit.
Sanders has been accused of murdering Richards on or around November 25, 2025, when the couple traveled to South Dakota together. The suspect allegedly said Richards stayed in South Dakota when he returned to Texas, per the affidavit.
Detectives searched Sanders and Richards’ separate homes in Little Elm and Denton, where they found blood residue and receipts for saws and 5-gallon buckets.
Authorities were not able to find the tools at the homes, though security footage from a local Lowe’s captured Sanders purchasing the items listed on the receipt.
The affidavit states that detectives suspect Sanders killed Richards and left her body in Marietta, Oklahoma, where he owns a property.
Sanders was served with an arrest warrant on March 16 when Little Elm detectives traveled to Marietta to find him. He is currently in custody at the Denton County Jail without bail.
It is not currently clear if he has entered a plea or retained legal counsel. The Little Elm Police Department did not immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment.
The battle between Paris Jackson and the management of Michael Jackson’s legendary legacy rages on, with no end in sight.
Years after the pop icon’s passing, internal tensions over financial transparency and creative control have spilled into the public eye through explosive court filings.
In her most recent attack, Paris criticized the estate’s decisions concerning her late father’s biopic, which is set to be released in April, 2026.

Paris has launched a scathing attack against John Branca and John McClain, the executors who have managed her father’s estate since 2009.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Paris is particularly critical of the upcoming biopic, “Michael,” and the financial decisions surrounding its production.
Paris questioned the “peculiar and presumably costly” choice to cast A-list actor Miles Teller to play Branca himself, doubting whether such an expensive move would actually translate into higher box office returns.
Furthermore, she expressed concern over reports that the estate has been forced to spend tens of millions of dollars on reshoots.
The actress suggested that Branca’s lack of film production experience might be the reason the film has faced such significant hurdles, especially since the estate has reportedly invested most of the $150 million budget.
The executors’ legal team dismissed these claims as “without merit,” arguing that Paris and her lawyers are simply playing “media games.” Regarding claims of inexperience, the estate highlighted the massive success of the Cirque du Soleil shows and the Broadway musical as proof of their capability.
They argued that it would be irresponsible not to produce a major motion picture about the King of Pop, especially given the success of other musical biopics like “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The tension between Paris and the estate executors clearly extended to the creative team behind the upcoming biopic, “Michael.” In September 2025, Paris officially distanced herself from the project after actor Colman Domingo, who plays her grandfather Joe Jackson, suggested she had been “helpful” on set.
According to The Blast, the model was quick to set the record straight on Instagram, tagging Domingo and telling him not to claim she was involved in a production where she had “0% involvement.”
Paris described his remarks as “weird” and made it clear that she is not a part of the film’s team. She admitted to reading one of the early drafts and providing detailed feedback on parts of the narrative she found dishonest or uncomfortable.
However, once she realized that the filmmakers had no intention of addressing her notes or correcting the inaccuracies she highlighted, she decided to step away.

Amid disputes over the estate’s management, there is also a fierce divide within the Jackson family as the premiere of the biopic draws near. Set to hit theaters on April 24, 2026, the film “Michael” has faced three major release delays.
While much of the family has praised the project, especially the performance of Michael’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, a massive rift has formed between Janet Jackson and her brother Jermaine.
Sources report that the siblings engaged in a heated phone call following a private family screening in Los Angeles, exposing deep-seated frustrations and long-standing rivalries, per The Blast.
According to insiders, the conflict stems from a “seed of envy” that has reportedly poisoned the relationship between the Jackson siblings. While Jermaine and the rest of the clan, including Katherine Jackson, were thrilled with the preview, Janet was reportedly the sole voice of criticism.
While the Jackson family remains divided over the film’s narrative, public opinion has been significantly more unified when it comes to the lead actor’s performance.
Jaafar, making his professional acting debut as his famous uncle, drew widespread praise across social media following the release of the film’s first full trailer.
According to The Blast, one mesmerized viewer on X described the experience of watching him as witnessing a “resurrection,” specifically highlighting his precision and movement. The user went as far as to call it “genetic memory,” arguing that the level of detail in his performance is something that simply cannot be taught.

As the family remains divided over the creative direction of the biopic, Paris continues to face off against the estate executors in the legal battle over their financial management.
The Blast reported that in March, 2026, the 27-year-old appeared in a Los Angeles court for a hearing centered on her demands for greater transparency and accountability.
Despite previous setbacks, Paris and her legal team remain optimistic that they are uncovering significant financial irregularities. While the judge has yet to deliver a final ruling on the matter, she reportedly left the hearing appearing unshaken and focused on ensuring her family is treated fairly.
Days of Our Lives 2-week spoilers for March 30 – April 03, 2026 suggest Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) stuns someone and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) interfering.
On Monday, March 23rd, we’ve got Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) returning to Salem. He needs to get that concussion treated and he’s going to talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about Javi Hernandez and Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte). So, you know, Javi said he’s done with Leo and Dimitri is in trouble with ISA over the whole Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) going missing thing, even though I don’t think he did that.
And a matter of fact, we know he didn’t because EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) pretty much confessed. Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is healthy enough to be released from University Hospital and he goes to check in on Stephanie before he heads home. As Alex Kiriakis eavesdrops from outside the door, Stephanie’s going to tell Jeremy that she could not have gotten through the kidnapping ordeal without him.
Stephanie has two important conversations on Monday because she speaks with EJ and really hopes he’s telling the truth and he was not involved in her recent kidnapping even though he was behind her last Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) kidnapping. And by the way, Wes Ramsey has wrapped his run as Owen.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) welcomes Jeremy back home from the hospital, but I do wonder if Julie is going to own up to doubting Jeremy. So, we’ve got some tea and sympathy over at the Horton House on Monday.
Also, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is under EJ’s control right now. He is manipulating her over the Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) situation. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) look over their cases.
There’s some overlapping crimes for various jurisdictions. There’s the Stephanie, Jeremy, and Owen situation. Then we’ve got Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) and Klaus Mueller (Bassel Alzaro) and the DiMera kidnappings.
And of course, Leo is still going to have to answer to the Salem PD for his role in Dimitri’s case and him helping him go rogue. Even though Dimitri has been exonerated, it seems in the kidnappings, that doesn’t erase Leo’s crime of aiding and abetting.
Tuesday, March 24th, we’ve got Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) comforting Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). He appreciates it and tells Gabi that’s one of the things he loves about Gabi. And she is stunned to hear the L word out of Philip’s mouth and of course Gabi’s guilt is growing by the day.
Tate Black (Leo Howard) has more issues with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). They are struggling to reconnect and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) tells Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) how she feels about Xander Kiriakis Cook (Paul Telfer).
They did share some very tender moments when Victoria Kiriakis had pneumonia, but then Sarah ended up mad at him yet again. Also this week, Maggie is going to talk to Xander and ask if he heard the happy news that Vivian Alamain has gone missing. I think there’s going to be parties all over Salem.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) gets Rachel Black‘s (Lorelei Olivia Mote) blessing and I wonder if she says that she won’t interfere if he wants to date Sarah. And Liam tells a big fat lie to Arianna Horton so he could minimize the situation with Klaus and his role in the DiMera kidnappings that got him grazed in the arm.
Wednesday, March 25th, Arianna has good news for Liam. And by the way, March 25th is Marissa Reyes last air date as Arianna. And we are going to meet the recast Arianna in a week or two. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo take turns insulting each other.
And I’m sure it’s about Dimitri because Leo now seems to believe Gwen is guilty of kidnapping Dimitri, but she may throw the past cheating in his face. Meanwhile, Marlena finds out something that is downright chilling. And it may be about Rachel and the skin supplements.
Despite the tension, Holly and Tate are going to be a united front during a doctor’s appointment with Sarah this week after the drug test comes back and shows that Holly has antipsychotic meds in her system.
Tate tells Sarah they know why. And they have a bottle of the skin care supplements with them. And I do wonder if Rachel may be blamed.
Sarah confronts EJ and I wonder what’s that about now. Is it the lab? Is it about Stephanie’s kidnapping? And Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Rachel’s hearing begins.
They’re in front of the same judge that oversaw Johnny DiMera‘s (Carson Boatman) trial where Kristen burst in and falsely confessed to shooting EJ. And it looks like they are in the judge’s chambers, not in a courtroom.
So Brady and Kristen are there with Rachel, who is very nervous. And of course, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is also on hand as the district attorney on Days of our Lives.
Thursday, March 26th, we’ve got Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) listening as JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) opens up to him. So, I think he may tell Theo that he froze up and that led to Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Liam getting shot one more seriously than the other and Klaus getting shot dead.
You know, Shawn killed Klaus and he has now put his future at the SPD on the line by covering for JJ. Marlena finds common ground with EJ and it could be about Rachel’s sentencing and Jada offers Shawn to move in with her while he recuperates.
But the question is, how will Belle react to this? And how will Jada’s—I don’t know if I would call him a boyfriend at this point, but we’ll see how Theo reacts. He may be looking for an excuse to dump her so he can go chase Gabi.
As expected, Kristen is going to act up in the hearing. And Belle has to scramble to protect Rachel from being hit with criminal charges and her risking being sent to juvie. And this could be more than just Rachel’s fate on the line.
They may revisit custody given Kristen’s false confession, her yanking Rachel out of Bayview when she was getting help. And the past CPS issues because the judge mentions there is a second motion on the table.

Friday, March 27th, Kristen is furious with Marlena and actually threatens her. So, the shrink may suggest that Rachel needs to go to Bayview or someplace else for inpatient psychiatric care for a good long time out. Marlena may know a little something about Rachel and the supplements.
And Kristen’s daughter is devastated. The judge hands down a verdict that could be really bad for Rachel. EJ steps up, but is that for Johnny with the adoption case? Because Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny head into their appointment to finalize the adoption on Friday.
And Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) interrupts the adoption meeting and says that they can’t finalize the adoption until they hear from one more person and it’s Sophia. She’s there. And she’s dressed nice. She’s looking sane, but you know she’s going to make some crazy trouble.
The week of March 30th through April 3rd, we’ve got Stephanie and Jeremy continuing to have this trauma bond. And they may have another heart-to-heart talk about what happened. You know, Jeremy did help save Stephanie’s life.
Jeremy even let her dislocate his finger to save her, and Stephanie may not fall for Jeremy again, but this bond may frustrate Alex. Also, Rachel may rat out Sophia based on the ruling that comes in because let’s face it, she’s totally unhinged. Sophia’s just rotten.
And Rachel may want Tate and Holly to know that she had no idea Sophia was messing with the supplements, but once the judge’s ruling comes down, it’s probably going to stick.
Jada and Shawn could rekindle during his recuperation because he and Belle are in the friend zone as she confirmed the other day. And if EJ manages to shut down Sophia at the adoption hearing, that could be a real gamechanger for his relationship with Johnny.
We’re going to see fallout from Rachel and Kristen’s hearing. And we’ll find out if Rachel’s going to have to go to Bayview or another psychiatric institution, hopefully far away from Sophia.
Sarah and Brady are getting closer now that Rachel’s situation is sorted, but I don’t think it’s going to turn into too much on her side. She’s still hung up on Xander, but Brady is already falling.
Lexie wakes up soon. And the impact on Salem is going to be life-changing. Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) are back with the twins soon. And we’ll find out more about EJ and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
Chrissy Lampkin‘s recent ‘fit check has social media users sharing mixed reactions.
On Sunday, March 22, Chrissy Lampkin took to Instagram to share a two-slide carousel with her more than two million followers. Furthermore, the first photo in the carousel showed Lampkin sitting down at a restaurant’s dinner table while looking at her phone. Additionally, she donned sunglasses, a black-and-white blazer, ripped jeans, and black-and-white loafer shoes.
To note, the second photo in the carousel featured a full-body shot and showed that she was also wearing an Hermès belt bag.
“365 days in a year , don’t play with me on none of them .😉,” she captioned the shots.

Before her recent ‘fit check, Chrissy Lamp turned heads with footage of her night out. As The Shade Room previously reported, in February, Lampkin took to Instagram to share a reel from her time at Madison Square Garden for an apparent New York Knicks Game. Additionally, Lampkin shared a clip of herself heading inside rocking a black leather jacket, corset-style denim, and a pricey Hermès Birkin HAC Rock 40 handbag.
At the time, Instagram user @star79dreams slid in TSR’s comment section, writing, “She really is the one stay dresses to impress “
What Do You Think Roomies?
Tommie Lee has the internet yapping about her latest link-up with Solange’s son, Julez Smith. Multiple videos were posted to Snapchat and it looks like she had a ball with the 21-year-old. According to the clips, it ended with a friend’s arrest, a piggyback ride, and major flirty energy! As the videos circulated on social media, people didn’t hold back on dating speculations — and drags.
One video reposted by Live Bitez shows Tommie, who’s 41, riding on Julez’s back while recording. “The type of sh*t you do when you like somebody,” Smith says as Lee records them. She giggled and continued to show off how the 21-year-old was carrying her, shoeless, on his body. When she brought the camera close to her face, she called him her “baby” before calling him “so fine.” He joked that “it’s hard to be fine” while carrying someone, but she disagreed, saying he was fine regardless! A lil’ after that, she hopped off his back as they laughed about him “struggling” to carry her.
More footage shows her laughing about their “crazy weekend” while her arm was linked with Julez’s. In that clip, it sounds like Smith also refers to Tommie Lee as “baby.”
Roommates, were Tommie Lee and Julez Smith on your 2026 bingo card? ‘Cause chile, from the looks of Live Bitez’s comment sections, the link-up has left folks scratching their heads and looking for answers. Some have called out the 20-year age difference between Tommie (41) and Julez (21), others are mentioning Lee’s daughter, who is in her 20s. To put it simple, the ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ star is getting the Draya Michele treatment, meaning heavy side-eye and shade for dating younger!
At this time, it’s unclear how Lee and Smith met in the first place or how long they’ve been kicking it, but their cozy energy in the Snapchat footage is already proving to be more than the internet was expecting!
Under LB’s first repost of Tommie Lee and Julez, IG user @the_realnelli wrote, “Have that same energy y’all have for Draya.” Meanwhile, @__jamiedee added, “Oh hell naw!!! I thought I was robbing the cradle 🫠🥴 THIS TEW MUCH.”
@carringtonexplainsitall said, “Imma pray for everyone involved.”
“Solange, where you at?” @arionie asked, but @thapaperprincess warned, “Lmfaooooo she can play with Solange if she want too😂😂.”
@tinyaquarius wrote, “I just know his Mom and grandmother going off right now 😂😂.”
“If Solange allegedly Brooklyn rocked JayZ for her sister I wonder what she’ll do her son,” @ugly_iz_myname commented.
“Letting people and their weird energy touch you, nah. He’s young he’ll learn,” @handsoffvicky wrote.
@thesecretlifeofkaeeee__ added, “This is weird, she has children his age.”
@realmrsj2 commented, “She’s gonna be eating Ms Tina’s Gumbo soon watch. 😂.”
“Come on tommie this ain’t it,” @ni.__gera said.
