Beyond the Gates weekly spoilers for March 23rd through the 27th reveal Anita Dupree‘s (Tamara Tunie) death demand and a major new character unveiled that we’ve all been waiting on.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers Monday, March 23rd: Anita’s Health Takes a Turn
On Monday, March 23rd, it’s season two, episode 54 of BTG, and we have Anita’s side effects get drastically worse, and she is going to wind up admitted to the hospital this week. Her overall health condition seems to be worse. I don’t know if it’s specifically the cancer is worse or just the side effects are just too taxing on her body. And Vernon Dupree‘s (Clifton Davis) wife gets really despondent about what’s ahead.
Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) gets an urgent call from someone over at the hospital and I think it’s going to be Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) related to this whole Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) issue. So this week Smitty’s talking to Jacob and says, “Listen to me. We made this deal that if things get out of hand, if things get dangerous, then we would pull the plug.” And then Smitty tells Jacob, “Look, it is dangerous.”
BTG Spoilers: Bill Spells Everything Out
Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) have a heart-to-heart, and I’m interested to see if Anita told Dani that she had a meaningful chat with Bill, or maybe Vernon mentioned it. I’m sure that Bill’s going to admit that he’s heartbroken over Anita’s cancer.
But of course, we know that Hayley Lawson Hamilton (Marquita Goings) hates when Bill gets closer to anybody but her and especially the Duprees. Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) comforts Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) in her time of need. She is still really distraught over Deanna McBride’s (Angela Fairley) attitude.
And Vanessa tells Joey that sometimes she wonders if this is a dream you wake up from right when it gets good. And Joey tells Vanessa, “Let’s find out.” I think he is falling hard. But of course, he’s sitting on that big secret that he offed her hubby. And I’m assuming that’s a deal breaker.
Tuesday, March 24th on Beyond the Gates: Anita Wants a DNR
Tuesday, March 24th, it’s season 2, episode 55 of Beyond the Gates. And Anita tells Vernon she doesn’t want to keep fighting and she wants a DNR. If you don’t know the acronym, that is a do not resuscitate order. That means if you flatline, no paddles, no CPR, they just let you expire.
Grayson has to deliver a message that is dangerous. And I wonder if it’s to Jacob or somebody else. You know, his boss at the hospital, the chief Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) to me seems like she’s clearly overseeing the plasma ring, and I kind of suspect she’s doing it in conjunction with Joey, and she’s not going to let anything get in the way. This woman is a monster.
Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Nixon) is devastated, and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is there for her. So, Kat might have been on hand when Anita collapsed and took the downturn that is going to send her to Garland Memorial this week. And Kat is obviously going to be very worried about Anita and the DNR since she has been helping Vernon with caretaking her grandma.
BTG Spoilers: Vernon Delivers Bad News
Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Dani get really, really bad news from Vernon. And of course, it’s about Anita and the DNR. Vernon doesn’t want it. He wants her to keep fighting, but he tells Dani and Nicole that he has never been able to stop Anita from what she wants a day in their lives.
And ultimately, it is her choice. But the family may all raise their objections to her stopping the fight so soon. But chemo is a beast if you’ve been through it yourself or if you’ve had a loved one go through it. It is truly terrible and unfortunately the frontline treatment for these diseases.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers Wednesday, March 25th: Bill Reconsiders His Future with Haley
Wednesday, March 25th on Beyond the Gates, it’s season 2, episode 56. So, an unlikely person offers Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) some advice. And it’d be interesting if it were Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) since they’ve been on the outs because he went chasing after Nicole like 2 seconds after she and Ted broke up.
I think Dr. Kyle Rollins (Greg Vaughan) would also be an odd choice since he is also seeing Nicole. The weirdest person to give any advice to Ted, of course, would be Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann) because she is bat crap crazy and I can’t see her giving good advice to anybody.
Hayley is stunned when Bill tells her that he is reconsidering their future. He’s rethinking things. So, I wonder if that recent life and death conversation with Anita has Bill thinking maybe he doesn’t want any more kids or, you know, it may be the after effects of his chat with Dani. But Hayley is about to see everything go slipping through her fingers and I am here for it.
BTG Spoilers: The Duprees Show Support for Anita
The Dupree family is there to surround and support Anita and shelter her with their love. And of course, we know that Vernon and Dani and Nicole don’t want the DNR, but in the end, it is Anita’s choice, not the choice of anybody else in the family.
Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) is pleased when things go her way. That may be her with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry), or it may be that her charges are officially dropped. You know, you think Hayley’s the worst thing on BTG. And then Lynette says, “Hold my beer.” Also this week, we have got Hayley and Tomas arguing over Lynette.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Anita Dupree
Thursday, March 26th on Beyond the Gates: Isaiah’s Mom Darlene Debuts
Thursday, March 26 is season 2, episode 57 of Beyond the Gates. And Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) has some uplifting news to give somebody. And I wonder if Grayson’s mom got into Dr. Madison Montgomery’s (Kenjah McNeil) Parkinson’s medication trial. And of course, just because you’re in a clinical trial doesn’t mean you get the protocol because a lot of people have to get the placebo, which is a big fat nothing, and that’s got to be scary.
Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) talks to his mom and has to stand up for Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). This is the new character that I mentioned at the top of the video. So, we are finally going to get to lay eyes on Izaiah and Jacob’s mom.
This is going to be Elon Hawthorne’s (Malachi Malik) wife. Her name is Darlene Hawthorne. We have not seen her before, but as of when I tape this, they still haven’t said who’s going to be playing the role. I’m very excited. And because they haven’t leaked out who it’s going to be, I wonder if it’s going to be somebody big that we’re all going to be like, “Ooh, I can’t believe they got her.” Something like that.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Jacob Wants Information
Meanwhile, Jacob tries to get critical information from Grayson. If you remember, the cops are after the big fish, the top bosses of the plasma ring. Grayson’s basically just a grunt. Wouldn’t it be wild if she was also his ex-wife who cheated on him? I hope not, but that’d be an interesting twist.
Bill is asked for something stunning. And Leslie chews out Vernon. No doubt, about the construction being stopped on her house. I don’t like Leslie’s taste, but I have to say I wouldn’t mind having a statue of David with Idris Elba’s face like she was planning. He is one of my favorite all-time actors. So gorgeous. If you haven’t seen him on Luther, he is everything. And if you loved Idris in Luther, he’s making a follow-up movie for Netflix.
Ted and Kat reach an understanding on Thursday. And it may be about her ongoing hatred for her sister, Eva. I’m sure that he understands Kat’s hatred for Leslie because Ted’s right there with her. But he’s not down for her hating on her sister. And in fact, most people around Kat keep telling her to stop.
Friday, March 27th on BTG : Vernon Gives His Blessing
Friday, March 27th on Beyond the Gates, we’re going to wrap up the week with season 2, episode 58. Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) has some things to say to Izaiah. And we’ll see if this is about Jacob because they ran into each other while he was undercover. But Izaiah has no idea his brother’s on a sting operation. He may bring it up to Naomi, who may freak out.
Smitty comforts somebody in the family. Jacob is in an uncomfortable situation. Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don’t thing. Dani has news for Nicole that takes her by surprise. And Vernon gives his blessing on a matter concerning Bill. That’s kind of huge and it’s kind of unexpected.
Russell Crowe on the red carpetImage via Abaca Press/INSTARimages
Few movie stars in Hollywood work as hard as Russell Crowe, who is currently filming his next big blockbuster, Highlander. Highlander is a remake of the 1986 Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery-led film of the same name, but the modern version also stars Dave Bautista and Henry Cavill alongside Crowe. Chad Stahelski, famed for his work directing all four John Wick movies, has also been tapped to direct Highlander with a script from Ryan J. Condal(creator of House of the Dragon). Just a few weeks ago, Crowe shared a new photo of himself on social media, showing him getting back into Gladiator shape to star in the new film, which can safely be considered one of the most exciting new releases that’s in development. Djimon Hounsou and Karen Gillan also have roles in Highlander.
2025 was a somewhat uncharacteristically quiet year for Crowe, at least until November, when he finally brought his long-gestating WWII thriller, Nuremberg, to the big screen. Nuremberg wrapped production years ago, and it took the film quite a while to secure distribution, which it inevitably did thanks to Sony Pictures Classics, which brought the film to theaters around Thanksgiving. Nuremberg grossed over $50 million at the box office before going on to have a successful run on VOD as one of the most popular purchases on platforms such as Prime Video and Apple TV. A little over a month ago, Sony finally unleashed Nuremberg onto Netflix, where the film quietly jumped into the top five most-watched titles on the platform. It’s still a streaming smash hit around the world on both Netflix in America and on VOD.

The Academy Has Decided Your Perfect Film Is…
Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.
Parasite
You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once
You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.
Oppenheimer
You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.
Birdman
You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.
No Country for Old Men
You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

What Is ‘Nuremberg’ About?
Nuremberg follows a WWII psychiatrist, Douglas Kelley (played by Rami Malek), who becomes enamored with understanding the mind of the evil Hermann Göring (played by Russell Crowe), who was one of Hitler’s top generals during the war. The film unfolds as Kelley drives to learn more about Göring, but those close to Kelley begin to wonder if the relationship they’re developing is borderline unhealthy. Nuremberg earned a solid 71% from critics and a strong 95% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. The film was written and directed by James Vanderbilt, and while it was thought that it might earn Crowe another Oscar nomination, the Academy ultimately passed on recognizing him.
Check out Nuremberg on Netflix in America and stay tuned to Collider for more streaming updates and coverage of Crowe’s future projects.

“It would be kind of silhouetted because you’d have, like, these giant screens of porn going and it would be just girls like talking s*** with each other,” Madison said, claiming it was an awkward experience that she and other women rushed through. She added, “It was a really weird scene and nobody liked it and everybody tried to just get it done as fast as possible.”
When asked how the trysts began, Madison — who previously identified as the magazine mogul’s No. 1 girl for seven years — told host Kristin Cavallari, “Kind of like taking turns and then the girls who weren’t active with him were kind of like acting like they were active with the other girls, but not really.”
The truth behind the fantasy. The Playboy Mansion is the stuff of pop culture legend, but former Playmates have been brutally honest about what life was really like there — and how the late Hugh Hefner treated them. Holly Madison was never technically a Playmate, but she did live with Hefner, who died in September […]
Fans got to know Madison and Hef’s other main girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson when the trio appeared on five seasons of their E! reality series, The Girls Next Door, which debuted in 2005. The sixth and final season premiered in 2009, introducing his future wife, Crystal Harris, as well as twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon. (Crystal has since remarried after Hefner died in September 2017. He was 91.)

“But after we started filming the show, [the group sex sessions] just stopped, which was amazing,” Madison said. “He loved the show. He was like high off the show,” she speculated. “It gave him new relevance, like the ego boost. So he didn’t really feel the need to like, ‘Oh, I have to do these compulsive sex nights to make myself feel wanted and relevant,’ I think.”

Madison said the hookups often happened after they went on date nights. While recalling their past, she admitted there was a point in time when things changed, which came as a relief. “I think me, Bridget, and Kendra were so on the same page that we just didn’t want to do that anymore,” Madison said of how the dynamic evolved over time, noting there was no conversation but rather an overall understanding. “Nobody had to say anything. We were just like, ‘OK, we’re not going out anymore.’”
It may have been over a decade since The Girls Next Door first aired on E!, but it still hasn’t been forgotten quite yet. The Girls Next Door — which ran for six seasons from 2005 to 2010 — gave viewers an inside look at the eventful lives of the late Hugh Hefner’s three main […]
Madison, now a mom of two, said that toward the end of her relationship with Hefner, she had sex with him “very rarely.”
“It would just be us watching a movie or he’s doing a crossword puzzle and I’m reading,” she shared. “It was very suburban.”
Culpo dated former New England Patriots player Danny Amendola on and off for two years before she was set up with McCaffrey in June 2019. The duo, however, kept their romance somewhat private in the months that followed.
It wasn’t until February 2020, that the couple publicly confirmed their relationship while attending the NFL Honors ceremony in Miami, Florida. That same month, the twosome gushed over their budding romance on Valentine’s Day.

After four years of dating, the twosome announced their engagement in April 2023. Culpo and McCaffrey officially tied the knot in June 2024. The couple welcomed their first baby, Colette, in July 2025, and nearly one year later, Culpo revealed she’s pregnant with baby No. 2.

Carl Radke is not speaking to his “Summer House” co-star, West Wilson. During a new interview, the veteran reality TV star detailed how challenging it’s been to move forward with Wilson after he betrayed a handful of his close friends.
Speaking with Reality Nightcap on the red carpet, Radke said that while Wilson has reached out to him via text, he has not responded to the sports journalist-turned-TV personality for several reasons.
“I’m not ready to respond,” Radke said. “From what I know, what’s gone on and how he’s kinda handling it and how I handle things… part of me worries he doesn’t fully understand still the impact of this.”

For those who may be unfamiliar with the latest “Summer House” drama, Wilson, alongside Amanda Batula, made headlines in March 2026 when they confirmed their relationship after months of speculation.
The problem? Wilson was previously dating Batula’s ex-best friend, Ciara Miller. While their relationship won’t be revealed during the regular season, it will be a major part of the discussion at the upcoming three-part reunion.
Radke said that he takes issue with Wilson’s behavior, noting that it has had a severe impact on people he cares deeply about.
“We’ve been over this many times with him with Ciara and everything, many dinner tables on camera, many seasons,” Radke said. “And here we are again. So, I don’t have a lot of grace for some of it.”

He continued, “I can’t really hold space for someone like that.”
Kyle Cooke In An Awkward Space With ‘Summer House’ Co-Star Wilson
Radke isn’t the only one with strong feelings about Wilson and his secret relationship with Batula.
Kyle Cooke, who, mind you, announced his separation from Batula in January 2026, said he’s still figuring out where he stands with the 31-year-old.
“West did text me last week,” Cooke said, adding that he replied with a voice memo because he had much to get off his chest. Even then, Cooke hinted that there’s a chance that he and Wilson get back on the right path, he’s just not sure when that’ll be.

“I’m not the kind of guy that holds grudges, so obviously this is a very unfortunate situation,” he said. “I don’t really think people realize just how close we were. So, it’s tough. This is uncharted territory for me.”
‘Summer House’ Star Reads Text Wilson Sent Him On ‘Watch What Happens Live’
Bravo | Bryan Bedder
The two above aren’t the only “Summer House” stars figuring out where they stand with Wilson.
According to Bravo’s Daily Dish, Wilson’s friend, KJ Dillard, told Andy Cohen that he, too, was struggling with how to move forward with the Missouri native.
On “Watch What Happens Live,” Dillard said that Wilson actually sent him a text message after they filmed the reunion on April 23; however, he didn’t open it until he was filming “WWHL” on May 5.
The text reads: “I wanted to thank you for your articulation and kindness yesterday, despite being hurt. I’ve been off social, and I think I lost touch with how much hurt there was.”

Wilson went on to tell Dillard how “incredibly sorry” he was for his behavior, then said he’d be ready to talk whenever Dillard was.
This Reality Star From Another Network Had A Lot To Say About Wilson

Bravolebrities aren’t the only public figures with something to say about the “Summer House” scandal.
According to The Blast, Angelina Pivarnick from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” slammed Wilson during a recent interview, calling the “Show Me Something” podcaster a “f-ck boy.”
“He used to slide in my DMs,” she said. “I don’t know if he was with Ciara [Miller] at the time ’cause the time frame is a little off, but I know a f–kboy when I see one. Ciara’s better off.”
More Drama Is Following Wilson
Bravo | Kareem Black
And if things couldn’t get worse for Wilson, the reality star’s cousin was recently arrested and charged with the murder of their step-grandmother, Gayle R. Wilson.
According to The Blast, Wilson’s cousin, Dakota Sweeney, was taken into custody after law enforcement officials found Gayle dead and a firearm on Sweeney’s person.

Per legal documents, Sweeney allegedly killed his elderly grandmother after arguing with the 75-year-old incessantly over household chores.

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandovalhave officially offloaded their Los Angeles home three years after their dramatic breakup.
Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, May 8, that the Vanderpump Rules alums quietly sold the home that they bought together in 2019 to new owners for $3.1 million. (TMZwas first to report the news.)
The former couple, who called it quits in March 2023 after Sandoval, 43, was busted having an affair with their then-costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, bought the house in 2019 for $2 million.
Following their split after nine years together, Madix, 40, and Sandoval were embroiled in more drama as they battled over the home.

In the aftermath of the cheating scandal, Sandoval spoke about continuing to live in the 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom property during an appearance on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast in April 2023.
“I don’t have a lot of friends I can stay with right now. … I kind of run the house,” he said. “I handle the gardening [and] the housekeeping. My assistant comes and cleans and stocks everything. I basically run everything in the house.”

Sandoval shared on the podcast that he and Madix used a mediator to communicate at the time.
“[Ariana’s] in the house. This is a big house. We have a go-between. We text when we’re coming and going,” he continued. “The house is not listed yet, no. [Ariana’s] really busy right now, she’s obviously blowing up. I’m really happy to see that. I’ve been busy as well trying to get things together.”

In January, Us Weekly confirmed that Madix and Sandoval settled the legal battle over the sale of their shared home.
The former couple reached an agreement on January 13, when the Love Island USA host filed a notice of settlement of the entire case in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the filing, the dismissal of the case is “conditional” and would require “the satisfactory completion of specified terms” within 30 days of the date of the settlement.
Amanda Edwards/Getty Images; Ben Symons/Peacock Tom Sandoval has officially agreed to sell his and Ariana Madix‘s home after over a year of contentious back and forth. Sandoval, 42, returned to his “Everybody Loves Tom” podcast on Wednesday, October 23, with girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson as his cohost. He used the platform to share a major […]
Madix joined the Vanderpump Rules cast in November 2013. Madix and Sandoval announced they were dating during the show’s season two reunion in February 2014.
In December 2018, they told Us that they would likely never get engaged and wanted to spend their money on a home together instead.
“To me, we’d rather put our money in that investment than, to us, marriage or a wedding and all that, an expensive ring,” Sandoval told Us at the time.

The former couple spoke to BravoTV in May 2019 about incorporating their own personalities into decorating their home.
“I feel like normally when it comes to decor in a house with a guy and a girl, it can be very like, ‘Okay, the girl just kind of does everything, the guy is like, I just added this one thing,’” Sandoval told the outlet. “But we obviously both have very strong personalities. You see a nice mix of Ariana and myself in there.”

Madix added, “We definitely had moments where one of us is really adamant about something, and the other one is not really feeling it. You compromise on those moments.”
2026 has already been a huge year for Alan Ritchson, who was the headlining figure in the biggest Netflix movie of the year in War Machine. The film debuted back in March, and to reach the top spot, it had to dethrone The Rip, the Miami-set crime thriller starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Not only did War Machine have no problem taking down Damon and Affleck’s gritty thriller, but it has also racked up over 125 million views since it arrived on the platform, with more coming in every day. Ritchson has also featured in some other big projects over the last few years, such as The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, the WWII action epic directed by Guy Ritchie. The film also stars Henry Cavill, but the film’s combined star power didn’t help it achieve success at the box office.
Ritchson has been acting in movies and TV shows for years now, but his star power can be traced directly back to Reacher, the Prime Video original series that first premiered back in 2022. Reacher has aired three full seasons with a fourth confirmed to be on the way later this year, and it’s not-so-quietly become one of Prime Video’s flagship properties, along with The Boys (starring Karl Urban) and Invincible (starring Steven Yeun). Plot details about Reacher Season 4 are still being kept under wraps before its Prime Video debut, but fans around the world are rushing to rewatch the first three seasons of the series, which has led it back into the global streaming top 10. The show is the perfect blend of John Wick and Zero Dark Thirty for fans of great action set against the backdrop of an intense conspiracy thriller.

Rambo
Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.
Indiana Jones
Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane
Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt
Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Alan Ritchson Isn’t the First Jack Reacher
Alan Ritchson may be the definitive Jack Reacher for a generation of Reacher fans, but he isn’t the first person to take up the mantle of the legendary military operative. Tom Cruise starred in a pair of Jack Reacher movies in 2012 and 2016, but most fans agree that he was ill-suited to take on the role written by Lee Child, who has also distanced himself from the adaptations. Cruise’s first Jack Reacher movie is streaming on Paramount+, and the sequel is on Prime Video for fans willing to give it a chance.

Zoë Kravitz has publicly criticized Hulu for using her high-profile engagement to Harry Styles as a marketing tactic.
The actress lashed out after the streaming service posted a joke on social media that connected her personal life to a television series they canceled years ago.
Her blunt response has now reignited a long-standing feud between the star and the platform over the handling of her professional work.

Zoë Kravitz reacts to Hulu’s post about her ‘High Fidelity’ character listening to Harry Styles:
Kravitz did not hold back when she discovered that Hulu was using her relationship with Styles to drive social media engagement. Last week, the streaming platform shared an Instagram photo of Kravitz in character as Robyn Brooks from her former series, “High Fidelity.”
The caption of the now-deleted post claimed that her character would definitely have “Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally” on her playlist, a direct nod to the title of Styles’ fourth studio album, which debuted on March 6.

Kravitz, now 37, found the post offensive and commented, “This is tacky,” while directly tagging the Disney-owned platform. Following her public disapproval, Hulu quickly removed the post from its page.
Notably, the frustration felt by the “Big Little Lies” star is rooted in the fact that Hulu canceled “High Fidelity” back in 2020 after just one season. Many fans supported her reaction, arguing that it is disrespectful for a network to use an actress’s current personal milestones for advertisement six years after axing her show.
Additionally, Kravitz has been a vocal critic of the cancellation since it happened, famously pointing out that the move removed one of the few shows on the platform led by a woman of color. According to Page Six, she previously mentioned that Hulu made a “big mistake” by not realizing the cultural impact and the connection the show had with its audience.
Harry Styles And Zoë Kravitz’s Relationship Has Reportedly Reached The Next Step

Kravitz’s blunt reaction to the streaming giant comes shortly after reports surfaced that the actress is now engaged to Styles.
The engagement rumors surrounding the two reached a fever pitch following weeks of intense speculation and new public sightings. Insiders described the 32-year-old pop star as being “completely smitten” with the actress, with one source saying that he would essentially do anything for her.

The Blast reported that Kravitz is reportedly just as thrilled, with friends describing her as being “on cloud nine” as the couple takes this significant next step.
Zoë Kravitz Debuted A Million-Dollar Engagement Ring

While the reports of their engagement were initially based on insider tips, the visual evidence of their commitment recently became impossible to ignore on the streets of New York. Shortly after news of their status broke, Kravitz was seen prominently displaying a massive diamond ring that seemingly confirmed the relationship had reached a new level.
According to The Blast, Kravitz turned heads in New York City when she was spotted wearing a striking diamond on her ring finger while dressed in a casual “Boy Next Door” cap.
Despite her low-key outfit, the jewelry immediately became the main attraction, with experts estimating the piece is worth approximately $1 million.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the very first time the jewelry had made an appearance. Kravitz was photographed wearing the same diamond as far back as December, which suggests the proposal may have happened much earlier than many fans realized.

Channing Tatum Shared A Cryptic Post After The News Of Zoë Kravitz’ Engagement Broke
MEGA
While Kravitz is reportedly looking toward a future with Styles and her million-dollar ring, her past relationship has resurfaced in the public eye through a series of emotional social media posts.
Her former fiancé, Channing Tatum, recently caught the attention of fans by sharing a deeply personal message just as news of her new engagement dominated the headlines.
The Blast reported that Tatum sparked widespread speculation when he posted a cryptic poem on his Instagram stories titled “My Brain And Heart Divorced” by John Roedel.
The poem describes a painful internal conflict where the mind and heart can no longer coexist, eventually sharing custody of a person while refusing to speak to one another. Many observers interpreted the move as a subtle reflection of his own feelings regarding his high-profile split from the actress.

While Tatum’s emotional social media activity highlighted his personal struggle, his most recent updates suggest he is finally finding a sense of peace with his ex-fiancée’s new life.
As Kravitz made headlines for her reported engagement, the actor shared another cryptic message that signaled a change in his perspective.

Tatum shared a video on Instagram that featured a seal floating peacefully in water to the song “Only Time” by Enya, with a caption describing a desire to let go and trust in the “flow of the universe,” per The Blast.
According to those close to the actor, Tatum was initially surprised by how quickly Kravitz and Styles moved toward an engagement, but he has chosen not to dwell on the situation.
“Half of you and half of me. Baby Stanaland coming October 2026. 🩷,” Tyler, 36, and Hannah captioned the post.
The first clip in the carousel showed a video of the couple’s feet. They were both wearing matching pink Converses. Seconds later, they dropped a smaller, child-size version of the same shoes into the frame to make the pregnancy announcement.

Another video showed Hannah lifting up her sweater to show off her blossoming baby bump while Tyler tenderly rubbed and kissed her stomach.
The Selling the OC star and Hannah got married in December 2025 less than a month after announcing their engagement.
“The wedding and getting to marry my best friend was an absolute dream come true in every way,” Stanaland told People at the time.
He noted in the article that he and Hannah eloped weeks earlier. “It was fun and intimate and intentional and about all the things it should be — two families becoming one and a celebration of love.”

Tyler announced the split via Instagram in September 2022 and the pair finalized their divorce the following year.
“After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another,” he wrote. “We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”
He continued, “We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog, Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland kept their relationship relatively private prior to their 2022 split. “I love being married,” Snow exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2021. “It’s not any different, but being married in a pandemic is really like the test of everything if we can get through that, we’re good to go. If […]
Snow reflected on their marriage to Tyler while appearing on the “Call Her Daddy” in March 2024.
“There was a marriage there. There was so much love,” she said. “I think that gray [area] is hard to understand because it’s much more salacious and interesting that it’s just like, ‘He did this, and she did this.’ I think a lot of people go into relationships where someone hurts them, but I don’t regret it. I don’t regret anything that happened. I loved that time that we had when we had it.”

In May 2025, Us Weekly confirmed that Tyler had moved on from Snow and struck up a romance with Hannah.

The couple announced their engagement in October 2025.
“Last week, in the very place we road tripped to shortly after we first met, I asked the best person I’ve ever known for forever,” Tyler shared via Instagram at the time. “Our little family just got a whole lot more official. 💒.”
Among the most popular storytelling templates of the last few decades is “Lone Wolf and Cub,” inspired by the Japanese manga about a samurai and his young son. You’ve seen it in The Mandalorian, The Last of Us, and even Logan. Hollywood fully embraced the template over two decades ago, with the Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning-led action-thriller film Man on Fire, which was recently remade as a streaming series on Netflix. A few years after the film’s release, Alfonso Cuarón directed the critically acclaimed sci-fi gem Children of Men, starring Clive Owen and Julianne Moore.
Although the template remains as popular as ever — The Mandalorian and Grogu is only a few days away — it has also produced several movies that have slipped through the cracks. Among them is a dystopian Western directed by genre specialist John Hillcoat, written by Mindhunter creator Joe Penhall, and headlined by Viggo Mortensen. The film also served as a launchpad of sorts for Kodi Smit-McPhee and featured veterans such as Charlize Theron and Guy Pearce. The film was based on a novel by the legendary Cormac McCarthy and released just two years after another McCarthy adaptation, No Country for Old Men, swept the Oscars.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned Your Perfect Partner Is…
Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.
James Bond

Here’s How Long You Have Left to Watch the Dark Dystopian Western on Paramount+
We’re talking, of course, about The Road. Released in 2009, the movie underperformed at the box office, grossing $27 million worldwide against a reported budget of $25 million. Hillcoat’s two subsequent movies, Lawless and Triple 9, also underperformed commercially despite featuring popular stars. The Road‘s dark subject matter, which involved cannibalism, abandonment, and survival, made it a difficult sell to mainstream audiences. However, it was largely well-reviewed. The film holds a “Certified Fresh” 74% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “The Road‘s commitment to Cormac McCarthy’s dark vision may prove too unyielding for some, but the film benefits from hauntingly powerful performances from Viggo Mortensen and Kodi McPhee.” The movie was released only a year after the far more accessible post-apocalyptic action film The Book of Eli, which starred Washington and, funnily enough, also involved cannibals. You can watch The Road on Paramount+ in the United States, but only until May 24. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
