Angie Martinez’s Summer BBQ went down at Paradise Coney Island on Sunday, August 2. Furthermore, the festival event was headlined by Buju Banton, French Montana, Coi Leray, Zeddy Will, and Remy Ma. Furthermore, when Remy took the stage, she performed her single, ‘W.Y.F.L.’ The song, in which she notably raps, “The nerve of n****s, claiming that they wrote those hits/ When they whole career they ain’t never ghost wrotе s**t/ Not for me or anybody else/ You always acting likе you help a n***a, go help yourself,” appeared to have a switch up when Remy rapped the lyrics on stage.

Ultimately, social media users speculated that she inserted Papoose’s name, switching the lyrics to:
“You always acting likе you helped. Pap, n***a, go help yourself.”

The Rapper Was Subtly Discussed During A Recent Claressa Shields Interview
At this time, Remy Ma has not publicly clarified if she indeed mentioned or referred to Papoose as many internet users think. But if she did, her mention of her ex appears to arrive on the heels of his current girlfriend, Claressa Shields, sitting down for a recent interview. As The Shade Room previously reported, Shields stopped by Streetz 94.5 FM in Atlanta last month. During the conversation, she was asked about being in a relationship with “somebody’s husband.”
In response, Shields noted that Papoose allegedly filed for divorce from Remy Ma. Additionally, she noted that Remy should also be held “accountable for what she’s doing in her life.”
Subsequently, Shields had apparent words to share for the interviewer and others criticizing her romance.
