Jay-Z Celebrates Beyoncé’s Birthday During London Concert

Jay-Z had the whole stadium switching gears from concert mode to birthday party mode Friday night! While rocking the stage in London, the rapper made sure to give his wife Beyoncé a birthday moment of her own—and chile, he definitely didn’t keep it lowkey!

Beyoncé Gets A Birthday Surprise From Jay-Z, And The Crowd Goes UP

During a break between songs on Sept. 4, Jay-Z asked production if they had “the shot” of Beyoncé on the jumbotron. Once the camera landed on the Grammy winner, the crowd immediately went up as she smiled from a box suite with friends and threw up the Roc Nation sign. Jay-Z then led the entire stadium in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Bey, and just when folks thought that was the moment, fireworks started lighting up the sky.

Beyoncé, rocking a cozy hoodie for the outing, waved and blew kisses to the crowd while her hubby serenaded her from the stage. She kept smiling as she leaned against the suite railing and watched the fireworks, even mouthing, “Oh my God,” as the display continued.

The Comments Got Real Interesting

Fans wasted no time running to The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section and running it up with birthday love for Beyoncé. While some simply wished Bey a happy birthday, plenty of others brought up Dame Dash and joked about how they imagined he was taking in the moment. And, of course, the comments kept coming as folks shared their reactions to Jay-Z’s sweet birthday tribute.

One Instagram user @piscesbrwn wrote, “The manager Blu making sure it goes smoothly 😂😍”

This Instagram user @thtdarkskingrl said, “Here come Dame Dash ‘so now he singing happy birthday on her birthday’”

And, Instagram user @classylady119 added, “Oh Dame going to have have a field day talking about this😂🥳❤️”

And Jay-Z wasn’t the only one making sure Beyoncé felt the birthday love! Her mom, Tina Knowles, also took to Instagram to celebrate her eldest daughter, calling her “an extraordinary human” and praising the way she continues to move forward despite the noise around her. Knowles highlighted Beyoncé’s creativity, generosity and work ethic before wishing her a happy birthday and adding, “I love you.” ❤️🌹
