Last week, a video of a young fan named Gio went viral following his emotional reaction to the news of Jaylen Brown’s trade. In the video, Gio breaks down crying as he tells his favorite basketball player how much he loves him and how much he means to him. He also thanked Brown for everything he’s done with the Celtics.

Gio even created a sign that read, “I love you JB. Comb back one day. To JB, From Gio.” The 6-year-old couldn’t contain his sadness over the news. His mother captioned the post, “I think my 6 year old just experienced his first heartbreak. His favorite player Jaylen Brown got traded. I am in tears watching him cry like this.”
