Jen Affleck has had a lot of major changes in her life in recent years. Now pregnant with her fourth child, she’s gearing up for her debut on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” a spinoff of the wildly popular show that follows MomTok members in Utah.

In a candid interview with The Blast, Affleck reveals what drew her to a recent brand partnership with Quest Nutrition, how she’s navigating her fourth pregnancy, what’s helped her the most throughout her prenatal depression, and what’s dividing the cast of the new spinoff.

The “Mormon Wives” star recently announced her fourth pregnancy, so what better time to partner with Quest Nutrition to make sure she’s hitting her protein goals?  For any busy parents, Quest offers the perfect on-the-go snacks for those times when hunger strikes.

“It’s been one of my favorite protein bars honestly for the longest time. I feel like I’ve used their products throughout my life, and especially during this pregnancy,” Affleck told The Blast exclusively. “They came out with new snacks, such as the dill pickle protein chips, and it’s so funny because I don’t even really like pickle flavored stuff but for some reason with this pregnancy, I have been craving pickle flavored stuff.”

She said she’s been “addicted” to it and loves that they are 19 grams of protein and are filling.

“I feel like they’ve been my go-to treat while still getting all the benefits of the protein and fiber, so they’ve been saving my life this pregnancy,” she said. “I don’t leave the house without a Quest bar. I swear I am always on the go and I almost have four kids now so my life is really, really crazy.”

Jen Affleck Recently Opened Up About Her Prenatal Depression Struggles

Affleck was open about the prenatal depression she experienced with her third pregnancy and since it circled back around during her fourth pregnancy, she recently shared her experience online with her followers.

“Prenatal depression was rough this time. It’s been honestly hard with every pregnancy, but especially this time, just because so much was happening with moving to a new state,” she told The Blast. “Honestly not having a break since before ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Jumping into ‘Dancing with the Stars’ I was freshly postpartum so there is a lot.”

What’s Worked Best For The ‘Mormon Wives’ Star

Affleck shared that while therapy and stepping outside to take a walk has helped her through some rough times, there has been one thing that really helped her out the most.

“I think the biggest difference for me has been having support from people who you love and people you trust. I’ve spent a lot of my life feeling like I couldn’t because in a way, I’ve always felt like I was a burden,” she shared.

“But if anything, I feel like it’s the best thing that you could do for yourself, and in doing so, you are benefitting other people, such as your children, your family, your friends. And so that’s been, I think, the difference between this pregnancy and others.”

Affleck’s life has shifted drastically since the early days of MomTok to now, which means she’s had a lot of adjustments to make as her platform continues to grow.

“There have been a lot of adjustments happening lately. Even just moving to California has been a huge change. I’ve been living in Utah for the past 15 years of my life, so moving to California was a huge step, a huge transition,” she said. “There have been hard parts but it’s been honestly super great.”

She added that while there have been some really difficult parts to this journey, it’s been “the best thing to ever happen.”

Moving From Utah To OC: Jen Affleck Is Part Of The ‘Mormon Wives’ Spinoff

Affleck recently made the move from Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” to the new spinoff, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.” Moving from Utah to California has been a “huge transition” as well as joining a new group with a totally different dynamic.

“It’s just a different group and with each group, there is going to be different personalities, different needs, and I guess the biggest difference I would say is the dynamic between a lot of the girls,” Affleck shared. “I don’t want to spoil anything, but there is pretty much a huge divide within the group when it comes to religion.”

She added that while the OG MomTok girls had “a lot of differences,” everyone was on the “same page with a lot of beliefs and a lot of things.” That’s one of the biggest differences for Affleck moving from one group to the other.
