She told fans, “Y’all, I told you in “Save as Draft” that I don’t f-ck with change,” tying the moment back to her “Witness” track. 

Perry explained she still wanted to participate in the tradition “for good luck,” but her unconventional method, quickly retrieving the card before it drifted away, left viewers amused and confused.

The Trevi Fountain, completed in 1762, is one of Rome’s most visited landmarks, attracting thousands of visitors daily who toss coins in hopes of returning.

Perry Faces Serious Allegations As Investigation Unfolds

While her Rome trip offered lighter moments, Katy Perry is also facing serious developments offstage. 

The 41-year-old is currently under investigation by Australian authorities following sexual assault allegations made by actress Ruby Rose. The claims stem from an alleged incident in 2010 at a Melbourne nightclub.

As The Blast reported, a police spokesperson released a statement on April 15 noting, “Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010.” 

The statement continued, “Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”

The investigation began after Rose filed a complaint, bringing renewed attention to an allegation she previously described publicly. 

Katy Perry Strongly Denies Ruby Rose Claims Amid Growing Scrutiny

Perry has firmly denied the allegations through her representative, strongly pushing back against Ruby Rose’s claims. 

In an official statement, her team described the accusations as “dangerous and reckless lies,” emphasizing that the singer rejects them entirely.

The statement read per the Daily Mail, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.” 

It also addressed Rose’s history of public accusations, noting, “Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Rose, meanwhile, has maintained that the alleged incident occurred while she was in her twenties during a night out in Melbourne.
