Loughlin has asked the court to leave the issue of spousal support open for a future determination rather than immediately establishing an amount. She is also seeking a division of their outstanding property, financial assets, and outstanding debts.

Another part of her filing concerns the cost of the divorce itself. She has requested that Giannulli cover her legal fees as they work through the dissolution of their marriage.

Both eventually pleaded guilty in 2020. Loughlin spent two months in jail before her release, while Giannulli served five months before release.

Their legal troubles apparently left lasting resentment between them. A Star Magazine source claimed Loughlin held Giannulli responsible for the decisions that landed them in such serious trouble.

“Lori blames Mossimo and maintains it was his greed that put them in that position, and he accuses her of the same thing,” the insider said.

Rather than putting the ordeal completely behind them after serving their sentences, the disagreement apparently remained a source of tension. The insider described years of blame going in both directions, suggesting the scandal created wounds within the marriage that were never fully resolved.
