Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Mother Claims She No Longer Has A Relationship With Her Granddaughter

The drama between Pamela Warner and Tenisha Warner doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Pamela previously took their issues to court, accusing Tenisha of dragging out the legal battle over the millions Malcolm left behind. But even with that Pamela has reportedly stated that she doesn’t have any bad blood with Tenisha and can’t figure out what’s fueling the tension. Per TMZ,  Pamela now claims their family drama has hit a new level, alleging in her filing that Tenisha has “terminated” her relationship with her granddaughter, MacKenzie Warner, following Malcolm’s death in Costa Rica in July 2025. As of right now, Tenisha hasn’t publicly responded to Pamela’s latest claims.

More Details On Pamela Warner & Malcolm’s Widow’s Feud

As TSR previously reported, Malcolm’s widow, Tenisha, took her mother-in-law to court for $1.2 million, claiming she was struggling financially. Pamela quickly pushed back on those claims, saying she offered Tenisha $4 million from her son’s estate. She also claimed she offered to give the majority of the estate to Malcolm’s daughter with a $2 million life insurance policy a Georgia trust that was reportedly included in the deal. Pamela said she even worked things out with MacKenzie’s court-appointed guardian, but things didn’t end there. In the middle of it all, Tenisha claimed she had a prenup that the family wasn’t honoring.

Pamela Warner Shares Heartfelt Tribute One Year After Malcolm’s Passing

Before Pamela dropped the latest details about the family drama, she took a moment to honor her son one year after his passing. On July 20, the first anniversary of Malcolm’s death, Pamela shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute filled with throwback photos of the two of them. She also penned an emotional latter about navigating life without her son and reflected on the bond they shared. Coi Leray Addresses Trippie Redd Drama Over Daughter Miyoco

Lil Scrappy & King Harris React To Phone Tussle

Whew, Roomies! Coi Leray spilled all the tea during her latest sit-down interview. While addressing the chatter about her alleged beef with Latto, Coi switched gears and got real about where things stand with Trippie Redd as they continue co-parenting their daughter, Miyoco.

Coi Leray Talks History With Trippie Redd & Co-Parenting Their Daughter Miyoco

Okay, so BOOM! Jason Lee wasted no time asking Coi Leray where things stand with Trippie Redd. Trippie seemingly aired out their co-parenting issues in a viral message back in August, but Coi kept things brief and explained that they’re handling the situation in court. Still, that didn’t stop Jason from getting to the tea! He quickly asked the ‘Act Like You Know’ rapper how her relationship with Trippie even came together. Coi admitted things might’ve looked like they moved fast, but she and Trippie had actually been locked in since around 2021 or 2022. “We reconnected. We’re no longer together […] we had a baby. We moved on with our lives,” Coi explained.

When it came to their differences, Coi explained that she’s always cared more about a man’s personality than his looks. “I’m a personality girl. I’m not really a looks girl, you feel me? I don’t really know how to answer that question.” She continued, “You like who you like and fall for who you fall for. I can’t explain it.”

Trippie Redd’s Previously Sparked Reactions With Message About Seeing His Daughter

Coi’s comments come after Trippie Redd previously aired out their co-parenting issues on X (formerly Twitter). Back in August, fans assumed Trippie was talking about Coi when he dropped a message that read, “Tell that b***h to tell yall she won’t let me see my baby 😉 #NDA” Trippie didn’t explain what prompted the post, but folks on X quickly jumped in and told him to take the drama to court instead of putting their business on the internet. Meanwhile, others thought he took a jab at Coi just to promote his ‘NDA’ album which had released around the time of his post.

Coi’s New Song Might Spill A Lil’ Tea

Although Coi still hasn’t addressed Trippie’s viral message directly, fans might get a lil’ more insight into how she really feels on her new single, ‘Nothing Into Something.’ Coi previously teased a snippet of the track on her Instagram Story, where she seemingly raps about an ex moving funny. It’s unclear if she’s talking about Trippie, but fans will be able to put on their detective hats when the full song drops on Friday, September 18.

“How the f**k I do that?
Remember those days when n****s hating
Now I up they faces changing
Said I knew I always make it
How the f**k you knew that?
Looking back at my ex like damn
How the f**k you blew that?
Looking back at them texts like damn
How the f**k you do that?
Damn how the f**k blew that?,” Coi raps.

Kevin Costner and Ex’s Awkward Reunion at Son’s Volleyball Game

Published

on

Kevin Costner attends

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner found themselves sharing the sidelines again this week, more than two years after their divorce, as they reunited to support their son at a volleyball game in Santa Barbara.

The former couple kept their distance during the outing, making the family appearance an awkward reminder of the turbulent years that followed the end of their 18-year marriage.

The reunion also comes as Kevin Costner’s love life is attracting fresh attention after he was spotted getting cozy with a younger lifestyle coach.

As seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Costner, 71, and Baumgartner, 52, attended their son’s beach volleyball game in Santa Barbara, with the former spouses appearing to keep their distance while watching the teenager play.

The meeting was significant because it put the former couple in the same public setting after their marriage ended in a contentious legal battle.

Yet the reason for their reunion was straightforward: their children remain a shared priority.

Costner and Baumgartner have three children together, Cayden, Hayes, and Grace. Hayes, in particular, has a long-standing connection to volleyball.

For the event, the Oscar award winner kept it simple in a white T-shirt and pants, along with flip-flops.

People Magazine previously reported that Costner regularly drove his younger children to school and volleyball practices, describing himself as an “Uber guy” who spent much of his time getting them where they needed to go.

The actor has also spoken about the importance of staying involved in his children’s lives, even while balancing a demanding Hollywood career.

Costner and Baumgartner’s marriage ended after nearly two decades. Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and the split quickly became one of the most closely watched celebrity divorce cases of the year.

The former couple fought over their family home, child support, and the terms of their prenuptial agreement before reaching a settlement in September 2023.

Their divorce was officially finalized in February 2024, with a court granting them joint custody of their three children.

The legal dispute also brought unusually personal details into public view.

Baumgartner argued for substantial monthly child support, while Costner’s lawyers challenged some of her requests. The proceedings eventually ended without a trial, but the public nature of the battle left a complicated backdrop to their co-parenting relationship.

Their latest volleyball reunion shows that, whatever tension remains between the former spouses, family occasions still bring them into the same space.

Christine Baumgartner Has Since Married Kevin Costner’s Former Friend

The story became more complicated after Baumgartner moved on with Josh Connor, a financier who had been a friend of Costner’s.

The pair were romantically linked after her divorce filing and married in October 2025 in Santa Barbara.

Their relationship attracted attention because Connor had been part of Costner and Baumgartner’s wider social circle.

Baumgartner had previously described Connor as a friend during the divorce proceedings, while later reports confirmed their relationship had become romantic.

According to E! News, Baumgartner and Connor married at Santa Ynez Ranch in front of about 100 guests, with their children present. Costner did not publicly comment on the marriage.

The Actor’s Love Life Has Also Faced Scrutiny

While Baumgartner has settled into married life with Connor, Costner’s own romantic life has remained a source of speculation.

He was linked to singer Jewel, although Costner later pushed back on the idea that they had dated, saying they were friends.

He was also reported to have had a private, casual relationship with Kelley Noonan Gores, with sources describing a cautious romance following his highly publicized divorce.

Now Costner has sparked fresh romance rumors after being photographed in Santa Barbara with lifestyle coach Jennifer Milburn, 40.

Page Six reported that the pair appeared “extremely affectionate” during an outing and identified Milburn as a lifestyle coach from Aspen, Colorado.

Neither Costner nor Milburn has publicly confirmed a relationship. The attention surrounding his personal life has nevertheless arrived at the same time as his public reunion with Baumgartner at their son’s volleyball game.

Kevin Costner And Christine Baumgartner’s Children Remain The Common Ground

For all the speculation surrounding Costner and Baumgartner’s personal lives, their children remain the clearest reason the former couple will continue crossing paths.

Costner has described his family as the “anchor” of his life.

In a 2024 People Magazine interview, he explained that much of his routine involved driving his younger children between school, sports and social activities.

His son Hayes has also shared a creative connection with his father, appearing in Costner’s film “Horizon: An American Saga,” while pursuing sports including volleyball.

The latest Santa Barbara reunion therefore appears less about the former couple’s complicated history and more about showing up for their son.

Still, seeing Costner and Baumgartner together again inevitably brings their difficult divorce, her marriage to his former friend, and Costner’s latest dating rumors back into the spotlight.

Travis Kelce Named Victim In Scheme Amid Leader’s Sentencing

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

The creator of a Texas-based investment company has been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for his role in a Ponzi scheme that prosecutors say bilked 64 victims. One of the said victims was Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Details About Ponzi Scheme

U.S. District Judge Zachary Bluestone sentenced Siddharth Jawahar, 38, on Tuesday (Sept. 15) and ordered him to pay $31.35 million in restitution to victims. Jawahar’s attorney did not immediately respond to a voicemail requesting comment.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said between July 2016 and December 2023, Jawahar took in more than $35 million from investors in his company, Swiftarc Capital LLC. However, he only invested about $10 million of that amount.

Instead, prosecutors said, he used money from new investors to repay older investors and to fund an extravagant lifestyle. That lifestyle included luxury apartments in New York City and Austin, Texas, private jet travel and expensive outings.

Man Sentenced Was Living In U.S. Without Legal Status

Siddharth Jawahar was indicted by a grand jury in 2023 and pleaded guilty in January to three counts of wire fraud. Jawahar is from India and was living in the U.S. without legal status since 2005, according to court documents. Prosecutors say that after his indictment, Jawahar tried to coach a victim into giving a favorable statement to the FBI. Also, prosecutors say he lied about his immigration status and tried to get a relative to remotely wipe his iPhone in order to hide evidence.

How Much Did Travis Kelce Lose?

St. Louis news station KMOV-TV reported that prosecutors said in court that Travis Kelce was among the victims. However, they did not elaborate. A 2021 Forbes article said Kelce invested in a fund established by Jawahar’s company Swiftarc.

Robert Patrick, a spokesperson with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, said there were 64 victims total. Patrick declined to answer questions about Kelce’s connection to the case. Also, Travis Kelce’s spokespeople did not immediately respond to Associated Press emails requesting comment.

Iryna Bezsmertna, the Ukrainian beauty queen and pageant coach who was crowned Mrs World International in 2023, just added a new chapter to her growing list of international moments. The reigning Grand Queen and High Point Winner recently touched down in Los Angeles for an invitation-only business seminar hosted by real estate mogul Grant Cardone and his wife Elena Cardone, and she made sure the room remembered her name.

A Different Kind of Stage

The event took place at a luxurious oceanfront hotel in Santa Monica, where a small, handpicked group of high-performing entrepreneurs gathered for two days of connection and strategy. For Bezsmertna, who has spent her career coaching pageant contestants on confidence and presence, the setting was familiar even if the subject matter was new.

“It’s so much more than business,” she shared with her followers. “It’s about relationships, meaningful conversations, incredible energy, sharing experiences, and supporting each other.”

The Microphone Moment

During the session, Grant Cardone passed the microphone around the room and asked each attendee to introduce themselves, a moment that put Bezsmertna shoulder to shoulder with business owners running multi-million-dollar operations. She was candid about feeling out of her depth on paper.

“My financial numbers wouldn’t impress them,” she admitted. “But I had something else.”

What she had was presence. Bezsmertna turned on the same charisma that carried her to a world title, and it landed. Grant Cardone reacted with an audible “WOW,” and gave her an impromptu new title of his own, calling her Miss Universe on the spot.

The moment didn’t end when the microphone moved on. Attendees approached Bezsmertna afterward, curious about Ukraine, the world of international pageantry, and her personal story. For a group used to talking revenue and ROI, her background clearly stood out as something different, and something memorable.

Bezsmertna summed up the trip with a lesson she now shares with the clients she coaches. “You don’t have to be the richest person in the room to stand out,” she said. “You need to know what makes you unique and show it.”

Jenelle Evans Reveals Plans To ‘Extend’ No-Contact Order

“Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans takes kids to SuperMotocross in Las Vegas after quietly moving to Nevada

Jenelle Evans is all about establishing clear boundaries between herself and David Eason.

The reality star has explained why she called the cops to her home last month in a bid to de-escalate brewing tensions between herself and her ex when he came over to her residence.

Jenelle Evans filed for separation from David Eason on February 16, 2024, after six years of marriage, with the former citing his concerning behavior and ongoing child abuse case at the time as her reason for filing for divorce.

Reflecting on why she put that 911 call through last month, Evans explained that it was due to her ex breaking the no-contact rule, and even her attempt to prove that she was right about her decision was largely ignored by the police.

She recalled having the copy on her phone and showing it to the cops who stopped by her home to get statements about what happened. Unfortunately, the conversation did not yield Evans’ desired fruits, as no charges were pressed against Eason.

Evans had noted the presence of her ex at her home for coparenting duties during the 911 call, where she clarified that they got into a heated argument and she told him to leave the premises.

As US Weekly reported, Eason refused to leave, so she called the police for backup to prevent escalation and a repeat of the old pattern. Evans continued that she was trying to protect herself, as she added:

“I will be looking to extend my no-contact order. I do take accountability to a certain extent, allowing him back in my life, but at some point, you have to grow up.”

About two years after citing the grand jury indictment against Eason for child abuse involving her son Jace on the list of why she filed for divorce, a new development finally surfaced concerning the legal battle.

As shared by the media outlet, Eason’s charges of felony assault by strangulation and child abuse were dropped during a court hearing on August 24. Evans, less impressed, said she doesn’t care how the case went because it was full of drama.

She said she intends to stay away from the unnecessary attention surrounding the case and focus on her two other kids, who need her attention.

Eason reportedly attended court to learn his fate, but Evans was nowhere to be found, reinforcing her earlier stance about minding her business. Evans welcomed her oldest son, Jace, with her former partner, Andrew Lewis, in 2009 during a two-year relationship that ended in a split.

Earlier this year, the 34-year-old gave a candid look at the progress she has made with Eason since their split, explaining that it was done in the spirit of co-parenting their kids in peace.

As noted by PEOPLE, Evans stated that she has found herself trying to be as cordial as possible with her exes for the sake of the children they share.

“And if that means my daughter seeing us getting along together, going out to have lunch [or] dinners, I mean, that’s fine with me. As long as we can all get along, you know?” the media personality stressed.

She described this new phase as a completely different energy for her family, a positive one from her past, which was filled with toxicity. Evans told Dr. Rachel Mason on the La Femme Talk podcast that co-parenting peacefully is the most important thing for her, as they are all trying to create new memories.

Evans Recalled The Moment Her Relationship With David Eason Declined

During a Get Ready With Me session on TikTok, the reality star addressed fans curious about her relationship with Eason by sharing a quick story about the moment everything changed in their love story.

As The Blast reported, Evans explained that everything initially felt positive and was very open about expressing his love publicly, but she watched the mood shift overnight. She recalled her ex suddenly waking up with an attitude and resorting to insults whenever he was frustrated.

Evans added that the pattern immediately reminded her of the unhealthy behaviors she has dealt with in the past for many years, and she knew it was time for that to end.

She continued that Eason’s behavior while she was recovering from knee surgery after being diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome further drove the nail in for her.

Inside Jenelle Evans Son Jace’s Health

As the conversation continued, the social media influencer shared a progress report about her son, who was undergoing treatment at a mental health facility after he reportedly pointed a gun at his grandmother.

Evans, confiding in the podcaster, added that she has mostly kept quiet about the development because she has been getting her son the necessary help.

The media personality noted that Jace is in a safe space and focused on himself by exploring holistic treatments and trying to stay happy despite his situation. Evans corrected the notion that she was not getting anything done because she was quiet, even though she insisted that her silence should never be taken for lack of effort.

The reality star’s mother, Barbara Evans, had filed for emergency child custody in Jace’s name in March, stating that her daughter may not have the capacity to take care of Jace due to her other children.

‘House’ Fans Have To Watch ABC’s 7-Part Bonkers Medical Series

Published

on

Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park raising his eyebrows at someone off camera in The Good Doctor

Medical dramas are a dime a dozen, largely thanks to a tried-and-true formula that has captivated viewers from 1954’s Medic to pop-culture phenom The Pitt. As a result, it’s hard for a series to stand out from the crowd. If you can’t do it, it’s a one-and-done, like the fate that befell 2022’s Good Sam. But if you can, the results can be rewarding. Take House, for example. The series, which debuted in 2004, brought something new to the table: a misanthropic genius doctor whose manner is prickly, to say the least, and was rewarded with a healthy 8-season run.

A show like that doesn’t come around that often, but let’s say there was a series, one that had a House-like doctor who isn’t an ass, or at least whose behavior is explainable, that had viewers genuinely engaged and left cheering on his successes in the operating room and out of it. Is there such a unicorn? There is: The Good Doctor, ABC’s 7-season medical series that is the perfect House replacement.

Dr. Shaun Murphy Breaks Barriers in ‘The Good Doctor’

The Good Doctor takes the most engaging part of House – the solving of medical mysteries – and hands it to Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. In the pilot, “Burnt Food,” Shaun’s mentor and long-time friend Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) advocates for the board of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital to hire Shaun. There’s pushback, especially from Dr. Marcus Andrews (Hill Harper), who questions Shaun’s ability to interact with patients, and from Jessica Preston (Beau Garrett), the Vice President of Risk Management for the hospital, who is worried about the liability. It’s a deadlock, but Glassman, the hospital president, wins the vote by asserting that he will resign right there and then unless Shaun is hired.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center

The Pitt
Advertisement

You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.

  • You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
  • You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
  • You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
  • Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.

County General Hospital, Chicago

ER
Advertisement

You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.

  • You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
  • You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
  • You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
  • ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle

Grey’s Anatomy
Advertisement

You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.

  • You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
  • Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
  • You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
  • It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ

House
Advertisement

You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.

  • You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
  • You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
  • Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
  • The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California

Scrubs
Advertisement

You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.

  • You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
  • You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
  • You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
  • Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

As this is happening, Shaun is witness to a falling sign that shatters, sending shards of glass raining down on a young boy. The boy is in danger, but thanks to Shaun, who visualizes the boy’s internal injuries, he is stabilized by the time the medics arrive. He goes with them, but gets angered when Claire (Antonia Thomas) ignores his concerns about the young boy’s heart and is removed from the building. She has a change of heart, however, when Dr. Neil Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) confirms Shaun’s suspicions and brings him back in to find a piece of glass stuck behind the heart. The incident justifies Glassman’s faith in Shaun’s abilities, and that, coupled with the fact it was all caught on social media, secure Shaun a place on the team.

As Marcus feared, however, Shaun’s bedside manner is curt and unsympathetic. He’s iced out by his peers, who have no idea how to approach, let alone work with, Shaun, and his presence creates friction within the staff. But over time, his superior diagnostic skills and earnest attempts at bettering his bedside and social manner earn their respect and friendship. As the series progresses, every two steps forward often comes with a step back for Shaun. Yet he continues to overcome the barriers his autism presents, finding independence, a deeper empathy, healthy coping skills, and even love, in a series-long arc with his neighbor, Lea (Paige Spara), culminating in a series finale that is both heartwarming and earned.

‘The Good Doctor’ Turns Its Commonalities With ‘House’ Into Positives

There are unavoidable commonalities between The Good Doctor and House, which can be attributed to David Shore, who developed both series. Both protagonists are outsiders whose virtuosic medical diagnostic abilities are disarming to their peers. The Glassman/Shaun dynamic is highly similar to the Wilson/House one (played by Robert Sean Leonard and Hugh Laurie respectively). They even share images onscreen meant to visualize what their thought processes are.

But where House is decidedly more cynical, The Good Doctor leans into positives. People watch House because of the train wreck possibility, but they watch The Good Doctor because you can’t help but cheer for Dr. Shaun Murphy on his journey. It’s a testament to the abilities of Highmore, who has a knack for playing engaging eccentrics on TV (if you can make Norman Bates a sympathetic character, as he did in Bates Motel, what can’t you do?). Highmore embraces the character, making him sympathetic and easy to care about, without downplaying the effects of his autism, which, at least according to autistic motivational speaker Kerry Magro, are, by and large, realistic.

The pacing of the series feels natural, as do the tentative relationships that are built between Shaun and the diverse cast of supporting characters. Nothing feels forced, and while it shares the same criticisms of all hospital dramas – an unknown malady is treated and cured by the end of the episode, for example – the unique perspective and excellent writing make even those moments feel less like the tropes of the genre that they are. That’s not to say that if you love House you’ll love The Good Doctor, but you can guarantee you’ll feel a lot better about humanity after watching it.

Your Bra Is Part of the Outfit. Here’s What That Means If You’re a D Cup

Your Bra Is Part of the Outfit Now. Here's What That Means If You're a D Cup and Up

Lingerie-as-outerwear has taken over red carpets and pop stages this year. The engineering catching up with it is the real story.

Bras stopped hiding somewhere around the start of this year. BLACKPINK’s Jennie showed up to Governors Ball in June in a layered “bra-on-bra” look that put the garment front and center instead of tucking it away. Bella Hadid worked a peekaboo lingerie moment into a backless look at a Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in March. And on pop stages all summer, neon bras have been the accessory of the season — flashes of lime and hot pink showing through white tees and open cardigans on Charli XCX, Tyla, and Zara Larsson.

The throughline across all of it: the bra is no longer something you get away with hiding under a blazer. It is doing visible work.

That shift is arriving at an inconvenient moment for anyone who has spent years choosing structure over comfort, because the two used to be a trade-off. If your bra is going to be seen, it needs to hold up — no slouching cups, no straps sliding, no bounce. If you also want to survive a full day in it, comfort has to come along too. For years, wireless designs couldn’t deliver both at once, and that gap is exactly what the industry has been working to close.

What bra fitters are actually seeing

At Wonderland London and Curve New York, two of the trade shows where fitters and designers preview what’s coming next, the message from the floor was consistent: shaping is back, but built differently. Dora Larsen founder Georgia Larsen summed up the direction fitters are tracking — support that doesn’t have to feel restrictive, achieved through lighter construction and more flexible materials rather than a rigid wire.

That’s a meaningful change in the wireless category specifically. The format used to mean one of two things: a flattening compression bralette, or a soft-cup style with no real shape. What’s changed is the engineering underneath — molded cups that hold their form without wire, and wider bands that distribute weight across more of the torso instead of concentrating it along one line under the bust. The wider surface also tends to smooth the sides and back rather than digging into them.

Three styles built for the shift

Shapermint Essentials Everyday Comfort Wireless Shaping Bra — Wide straps and structured cups make this the pick for full days on your feet, when the last thing you want is shoulder strain by mid-afternoon.

Shapermint Essentials Sweetheart Wireless Contour Bra — A sweetheart neckline and contour cups give it the shape of a traditional bra without the wire, which makes it the easiest swap for anything you’d normally reach for at work.

Truekind Supportive Comfort Wireless Shaping Bra — The most shaping of the three, with foam cups that contour rather than compress and a wide band that smooths without squeezing — built for the days your bra might actually be part of the look.

The honest tradeoff

Wireless still won’t give you the aggressive push-up lift of a heavily padded, wired style — if you’re chasing maximum projection for one specific outfit, underwire remains the tool for that job. But for regular wear, the calculation has shifted. You’re giving up a small amount of lift in exchange for a full day without pressure marks digging into your ribs.

Who should make the switch

If you have sensory sensitivities, spend your day leaning forward at a desk, or are simply done with underwire pressing into you by 3 p.m., this is the category worth trying. And with lingerie increasingly built to be seen rather than hidden, “supportive” and “shaped” no longer have to mean “wired.”

Brutal R-Rated Comedy Turns Warzone Into A Playground For Murphy’s Law

Brutal R-Rated Comedy Turns Warzone Into A Playground For Murphy’s Law

By Robert Scucci
| Published

Have you ever had a day go so epically wrong that the only thing you could do is laugh at your own misfortune and move on with whatever tiny shred of dignity you have left? As a father of young children, I’ve basically described every single day of my life, but I’m talking about first world problems here. My bad days go as follows: mop floor, tell kids not to spill juice on mopped floor, kids spill juice on mopped floor. I then go into the other room and either shadowbox the air, scream into a pillow, or both. It’s the healthy way to deal with mild inconveniences without also making everybody in the room feel bad for making a mistake.

2015’s A Perfect Day is like that in spirit, but so much worse in actuality because it’s about a bunch of humanitarian workers in war-torn Yugoslavia trying to hold themselves together while doing their best to make the world a better place. The problem is that the world they’re currently occupying is packed with landmines, government bureaucracy, and citizens who are so shellshocked over recent events that nobody really gives them a rope to grab onto, literally. A significant portion of this movie actually involves looking for rope so they can complete their disgusting mission of fishing a bloated corpse out of a well.

A Perfect Day 2015

But the “laugh it off after screaming internally” spirit remains just the same. Sometimes, you have to break a couple eggs to make lemonade, and when life gives you lemons, you find a new God. See what humor does when you experience misfortune? You get sentences like that.

Quite Literally At The End Of Their Rope

A Perfect Day 2015

A Perfect Day follows veteran humanitarian aid workers Mambrú (Benicio del Toro) and B (Tim Robbins), who are working somewhere in the former Yugoslavia near the end of the Yugoslav Wars. Along with newcomer Sophie (Mélanie Thierry) and their interpreter, Damir (Fedja Štukan), they’re tasked with removing a corpse that has been dumped into a well and contaminated the local water supply.

The job seems straightforward until their rope snaps with the body still dangling above the water, forcing them to head out in search of a replacement. What should be a simple supply run quickly becomes an increasingly complicated ordeal as they navigate a landscape where even the most ordinary decisions can have deadly consequences.

A Perfect Day 2015

Mambrú and B have been doing this long enough that they’ve developed an almost casual relationship with the danger surrounding them. A dead cow blocking the road isn’t just a dead cow, but a possible warning that somebody wants them to drive around it and onto a landmine. When they encounter a man hanging from a rope, B’s immediate reaction is that they’ve finally found the one thing they’ve been looking for all day.

Mambrú is equally worn down by the job, but neither man has become completely numb to the people caught in the middle of the conflict. This becomes especially clear when they meet Nikola (Eldar Residovic), a young local boy Mambrú takes under his wing while the group’s increasingly ridiculous search for a simple piece of rope continues.

Serious Pockets Of Humanity

A Perfect Day 2015

What makes A Perfect Day such a powerhouse film is just how lived-in everything is. Benicio del Toro and Tim Robbins portray characters who have been around the block countless times with their humanitarian efforts, and it’s clear that, as a survival and coping mechanism, they have to look at the sheer mechanics of their situation before getting emotionally invested, leaning into the kind of cynical humor that makes newcomers like Sophie squirm with discomfort.

Sophie, who is clearly traumatized by the bedlam unfolding around her, quickly warms up to their demeanor despite her initial pushback because she realizes that being emotionally detached is the only way to survive such brutal conditions.

A Perfect Day 2015

I’m mostly impressed by the sense of muscle memory that’s depicted in A Perfect Day. It doesn’t feel like actors playing a part here, but rather actual humanitarian workers who are at their wit’s end and trying to make the best of an impossible situation.

It’s Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory running his printing press effortlessly in a dark, dank apartment. It’s the tired parent walking into a destroyed house after a double shift, avoiding every single spilled Lego while cleaning off the counter and gathering the trash in tandem without any apparent shred of effort because they know the song and dance so well.

A Perfect Day 2015

A Perfect Day fearlessly shows a brutal side of humanity when war becomes the common language, and those who try to help are tied up with so much bureaucratic red tape that you wonder why they’re even there in the first place. On the other side of the coin, it’s inspiring to see a group of hardened people who genuinely have good hearts and still show up every day even though they know it could get them killed, when they could just as easily stay home and not deal with any of this.

The broken families and ravaged landscape will break your heart, but the banter between Mambrú and B will just as easily heal it when you realize the film’s main message: we’re all human beings, and those who are fortunate and brave enough to try making the world a better place are doing their best to remain positive when their immediate environment doesn’t offer a shred of hope for a brighter future.

A Perfect Day 2015

A Perfect Day has no right being as funny as it is, but it has some serious pockets of humanity in it, and you owe it to yourself to observe such a raw take on the problems people face in a war zone that will make your first world ones seem so insignificant that you’ll feel like a fool for shadowboxing in your master bedroom that actually has plumbing the next time a minor inconvenience vexes you.

As of this writing, you can stream A Perfect Day for free on Tubi.

“Filing was a choice out of self-preservation and self-worth, that’s what that move was,” MJ said in a January interview with The Daily Dish. “You can choose that and love someone at the same time and prioritize your baby boy, which we’re both doing really well. I’m really impressed with how well we’re holding it down in this new chapter.”
