The Bravoverse is still reeling over the unexpected loss of Mary Cosby‘s 23-year-old son, Robert Cosby Jr. According to previous reports from The Blast, Robert was found dead by Salt Lake City police officers in late February 2026 after responding to a potential overdose.

Mary Cosby spoke openly about her son’s struggle with addiction on previous episodes of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” In one emotional scene, the pair broke down in tears after discussing the challenges Robert had been facing.

Mary, who’s been one of the OG cast members of “RHOSLC” since 2020, has been an open book since joining the Bravo family. Over the last six seasons, the Utah native gave viewers an in-depth look into her life as a pastor, First Lady, mother, and wife.

In previous episodes, Mary spoke candidly about some of her family struggles, including challenges in her marriage and as a parent to Robert. Despite that, Mary told her co-stars she’d remain committed to helping her son become the best person he could be.

Unfortunately, Robert passed away from a potential overdose in late February 2026, sending a wave of sadness through Bravo watchers. While Mary initially posted about her tragic loss on Instagram, saying Robert had been “called home to the Lord,” she shared another post in the early hours of February 28, 2026.

“I’m going to miss you, bubs,” she captioned a throwback photo of herself and Robert. “#Godfirst, #Love, #Forever,” she added.

The news of Robert’s death hit some “RHOSLC” watchers hard, considering the 23-year-old previously spoke with his mother about his addiction struggles in a season 5 episode that moved many to tears.

After admitting to taking drugs such as Xanax to help him “chill out,” Robert then told his mother that he uses drugs to help him feel something. “I just took half to chill me out, and then I had an Adderall to balance out the Xanax. … When I get high, it’s like adding seasoning to [my life],” he said.

At another point in that conversation, Robert shared that his body got so used to the drugs that he had to take more to try to feel a sliver of what he used to.

“Then, I started doing Xanax with Acid, and then Molly with Xanax. I really like Xanax, so I mix it with everything. Xanax and cocaine. You know the regular 30mg Oxys? I noticed … this was, like, a turning point for me. I was taking 10 at once, and I couldn’t even feel it,” he said.

In an October 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Mary discussed her moving scene with Robert and admitted that she was “truly shocked” to learn he’d been struggling so intensely with drugs. She then explained that she felt like a failure, assuming she’d missed something in his childhood that may have led him to use substances.

While surprised, Mary said that she relied on her faith to get her through. “I need God for that kind of support and that kind of help to get me through,” she said. “Because my tests and trials and my journey in life [are] way, way bigger than I make it out to be, so I need the higher help.”

During that interview, Mary also revealed that while Robert had a “little setback,” she was hopeful he’d find his way.

According to The Blast, Mary’s Bravo peers have been rallying around her during this difficult time.

Andy Cohen took a moment to offer his condolences during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” saying he was sending “all my love” to Mary and her family.

“This devastatingly sad news is every parent’s worst nightmare. My heart breaks for Mary. I will always appreciate getting a small window into the unconditional love between Mary and Robert Jr.,” he added.

Record producer Benny Blanco is no stranger to online scrutiny, and his latest viral moment proves that people notice every single detail. Photos of his dirty feet made the rounds on social media, sparking criticism over his hygiene.

Blanco is taking the time to defend himself and address the issue, explaining the reason why his feet were filthy.

On February 27, Blanco and Dave Burd a.k.a. Lil Dicky, were guests on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to talk about their new podcast, “Friends Keep Secrets.” The conversation turned to the viral moment that originated from the pilot episode, wherein Blanco sat on a couch with dirty feet.

A screengrab of Blanco and his feet was shown on screen, and the producer quickly jumped in to defend himself. “Okay. First of all, it’s the facility’s fault, not mine,” he exclaimed. The “facility” he is referring to is Lil Dicky’s house, where they film the podcast.

Blanco then took off his shoe and sock, showing the audience his foot, which was clean, saying, “I have great feet.” He urged the cameraman to zoom in and inspect it.

“You should get an OnlyFans for that thing,” Kimmel jokingly added.

In the middle of the discussion about Blanco’s feet, Lil Dicky chimed in and explained that it was the first day of filming their podcast, and crew members were going in and out of his home to set up equipment. “On that day, it was dirty. You know how floors get,” the rapper noted.

Despite the explanation, users on social media said that Blanco should have washed his feet before appearing on camera. “It’s his podcast, but show some class,” one noted.

Another added, “Comfort is fine, but respect for shared spaces matters.”

Gomez didn’t address the controversy directly, instead choosing to post a video of herself giving Blanco a kiss, writing, “I fall more and more in love with you every day my love,” per The Blast.

In regard to “Friends Keep Secrets,” Blanco and Lil Dicky explain that it isn’t a podcast. Instead, they explain it as being a multimedia series. The two are also joined by Lil Dicky’s wife, Kristin Batalucco.

Lil Dicky said that when he hears the word “podcast,” his mind goes to people talking “in front of a microphone with headphones on.” Batalucco adds that in their multimedia show, they want themselves and their guests to be comfortable moving around and “letting their guard down” throughout the interview.

“If we do it right and everyone agrees with us, this will be the new standard of how these things are put out and shot,” Blanco explained to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tom Cruise has seemingly saved Hollywood again following his involvement in thwarting Netflix’s takeover of Warner Bros.

Reports suggest the actor feared the deal would mean the end of the movie industry, as films would now be mostly streamed rather than released to cinemas, and allegedly took steps behind the scenes to fight it.

Tom Cruise has made strong moves in the past to protect the film industry, as he prevented the COVID-19 pandemic from shutting down production by coming up with ways to film while keeping cast and crew safe.

Tom Cruise is seemingly being credited as one of the forces saving Hollywood after streaming giant Netflix pulled out this week from acquiring Warner Bros., following a bitter two-month battle.

Reports suggest the “Top Gun: Maverick” star was furious at the takeover, which would have effectively seen one of Hollywood’s leading studios in the hands of the streaming giant, and put his foot down against it.

According to the Daily Mail, sources say he made his feelings “very, very clear” to those at the top of Warner Bros. Discovery over the deal, as he feared it would mean the end of Hollywood because films would now be streamed rather than released in cinemas.

“Tom was really cross, furious in fact, at the idea that a streamer would take over such a prestigious filmmaking company,” a source said. “He was very outspoken about it – there was even a suggestion that he might go on strike if it was to happen.”

Regarding Cruise’s disdain for the straight-to-streaming model, an insider noted that he stepped in to save the industry again after the pandemic, by using his “clout” and influence to shape decisions related to Hollywood.

“Tom has the clout, and he knows it; he likes to use his power for good and change, and now it looks like he has saved the movie industry once again from falling victim to streaming giants,” the source noted.

They added, “He disagrees with it and very much believes in funding the industry properly so it’s fair for everyone. With Paramount, they are committed to filmmaking – Tom has saved the day again.”

Netflix’s takeover bid may have hit home for the actor as he only moved to Warner Bros in January 2024, after spending more than three decades at rivals Paramount, where he put out hits like “Top Gun” and the “Mission: Impossible” franchise.

With the Netflix deal off the table, the path is clear for Paramount to buy Warner Bros. in a deal believed to be worth around $110.5billion.

Although Paramount has its own streaming service, Cruise has no objection as he believes the studio is still committed to the big screen.

Cruise has been a crusader of some sort for Hollywood as he single-handedly revived the global box office post-COVID.

At the time, productions were mostly down due to the pandemic, but the 63-year-old came up with new ways to film while keeping cast and crew safe.

According to the Daily Mail, a leaked video saw him barking orders to workers on the set of “Mission: Impossible 7,” telling them that anyone who flouts the strict guidelines would be fired.

“They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us,” he was heard saying. “We are not shutting this… movie down. Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re… gone.”

He also refused to let “Top Gun: Maverick,” which was already in the bag, go direct to streaming, choosing to instead wait for a cinema release.

The film eventually went on to make a whopping $1.5 billion at the box office following its release in 2022.
