Prime Video has had more than its fair share of big TV shows return this year already, but nothing has had as much anticipation behind it as the fifth and final season of The Boys. The show first arrived back in the summer of 2019, and it was such an unknown at the time, that Prime Video debuted all episodes of the series at once — it didn’t waste any time becoming one of the hottest binges of the year. Over the course of five seasons in seven years — an impressive turnaround schedule for any show with this level of budget — The Boys became one of Prime Video’s flagship properties. There were high expectations heading into The Boys Season 5, but it didn’t take fans long to begin picking apart the show’s final outing, which will undoubtedly taint how it’s remembered in the long run.
The Boys Season 5 was an absolute home run with critics, registering a strong 93% on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, but it was an entirely different story among the show’s passionate fan base. The final season’s rating on the audience-driven Popcornmeter falls to a Rotten 49%, which is far and away the lowest rating of any season. This negative reception hasn’t stopped fans from continuing to watch the final season of The Boys, though — it’s still one of the platform’s top 10 most-watched titles more than two weeks removed from the Season 5 finale. The Boys fans may not have a new season of Gen V to look forward to now that The Boys is over, but Vought’s story will continue through another spin-off confirmed to air before the end of 2027.

What Do We Know About ‘Vought Rising’?
Mere days after The Boys series finale, Prime Video revealed the first official trailer for Vought Rising, which stars Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash as Soldier Boy and Clara, respectively. The spin-off series is turning the clock back to the World War II era, showing Vought’s rise to power as Supes were still new to the world. Eric Kripke is not the lead writer on Vought Rising, but he is an executive producer and is certainly involved in the show’s creative direction. Additional cast members for Vought Rising include Will Hochman as Torpedo, Mason Dye as Bombsight, Rohan Mead as Jimmy, and Katherine Winter as Private Angel.
Check out all five seasons of The Boys on Prime Video, and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Vought Rising.
Apple TV is entering a new phase — one marked by its continued production of high-quality shows that have attracted acclaim and awards. But this new phase leans into what is currently sustaining many streaming services and networks: franchises. The streamer has expressed interest in expanding the universes of some of its biggest shows, with Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Severance, and Ted Lasso in consideration. However, one of the earliest contenders for a spin-off is the streamer’s oldest sci-fi series, and that plan recently materialized.
When Apple TV launched in 2019, one of its earliest original shows was For All Mankind. It is an alt-history sci-fi drama about the moon race. But in this show’s reality, the Soviets beat America and became the first to land a man on the moon. Throughout the past seven years, the show has explored various other space-related arcs, including Mars, space minerals, and extraterrestrial life. The recent season concluded last week, with the show expected to end with the upcoming season. But that’s where the streamer’s franchise ambitions come in.
Enter Star City, an offshoot of For All Mankind that explores the same events from the mothership, but from the Soviet perspective. Season 1 blends the authoritarianism of the Soviet political landscape with the attempt to achieve a major feat. Star City premiered on May 29, on the same day the flagship series was signing off for the season. And now, Apple TV’s first sci-fi franchise is officially live and making a mark on streaming. FlixPatrol has Star City and For All Mankind back-to-back on the streamer’s global chart, ranked third and fourth, respectively.

Your answers point to the iconic sci-fi hero who shares your instincts, your values, and your particular way of facing the impossible.

Arrakis · Dune
Paul Atreides
You carry a weight most people would crumble under — the knowledge of what you’re capable of, and the burden of what you might have to become.
You see further ahead than others and you plan accordingly, even when the vision frightens you.
You are driven by loyalty to your people and a sense of destiny you didn’t ask for but can’t escape.
Paul Atreides is not simply a hero — he is someone who understands the cost of power and chooses to bear it anyway.
That gravity, that willingness to carry what others won’t, is exactly you.
USS Enterprise · Star Trek
Captain Kirk
You lead with instinct, warmth, and an absolute refusal to accept a no-win scenario — because you’ve always believed there’s a third option nobody else has thought of yet.
You take the mission seriously without ever taking yourself too seriously.
Your crew would follow you anywhere, not because you demand it, but because you’ve earned it.
Kirk’s genius isn’t tactical — it’s human. He reads people, bends rules with purpose, and wills outcomes into existence through sheer conviction.
That combination of warmth, audacity, and relentless optimism is unmistakably yours.
The Rebellion · Star Wars
Princess Leia
You are the kind of person who holds the line when everyone else is losing faith — not because you’re fearless, but because giving up simply isn’t something you’re capable of.
You lead through conviction. Your voice carries because your belief is unshakeable.
You gave up everything ordinary the moment you chose the cause, and you’ve never looked back.
Leia is not a supporting character in her own story — she is the moral centre of the entire rebellion.
That same fierce, principled, unbreakable core is what defines you.
The Nostromo · Alien
Ellen Ripley
You are not reckless, not grandiose, and not particularly interested in being anyone’s hero — you just refuse to stop when it matters.
You see threats clearly, you document the truth even when no one listens, and when the time comes you handle it yourself.
Ripley’s heroism is earned, not performed. She doesn’t have a speech — she has a flamethrower and a plan.
You share her composure under the worst possible pressure, and her refusal to pretend the monster isn’t there.
When it counts, you don’t flinch. That’s everything.
The Wasteland · Mad Max
Max Rockatansky
You have been through fire that would break most people — and what came out the other side is something the world underestimates at its peril.
You don’t ask for help, don’t need validation, and don’t wait for anyone to tell you the rules no longer apply.
Your loyalty, when it finally arrives, is absolute — but it’s earned in silence and tested in action, not in words.
Max is not a nihilist. He is someone who lost everything and found, against his will, that he still has something worth protecting.
That bruised, stubborn, ultimately human core is exactly yours.

Is the ‘For All Mankind’ Universe Worth Investing In?
Both shows have received consistently high ratings, even though recent seasons of For All Mankind have faltered in storytelling quality. Star City has been lauded for establishing itself as a distinct experience through its mix of political paranoia and scientific invention. Still, the universe carries the Apple TV mark of quality, characterized by fresh ideas executed well, delivering quality storytelling through character-centric narratives. It helps that the shows have a high budget and don’t compromise in many respects. With the success this universe is seeing, Apple TV can safely jump into the franchise and spin-off game without worrying about having a bad precedent. Whether Severance or Ted Lasso becomes the next franchise remains to be seen.
Stream Star City and For All Mankind on Apple TV, and stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
It seems that things are really heating up between Lewis Hamiltonand his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian! The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality star was spotted in the crowd supporting the Ferrari driver at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix. While he stood on the podium to celebrate finishing in second place at the racing event, he appeared to blow a kiss to his girlfriend. The pair have only begun dating earlier this year, but it seems that things are quickly getting serious between them!
At the Formula One racing event in Monte Carlo on Sunday, June 7, Hamilton appeared to blow a kiss to the “All’s Fair” actress from the podium while celebrating his finish in second place.
In videos posted on social media, “The Kardashians” reality star could be seen filming the Ferrari driver on her phone while standing next to his teammates in the crowd. Hamilton can be seen blowing her a kiss and smiling at her before setting his trophy down on the podium to cheer on the other champions.
The F1 Instagram account posted a video of the moment with the caption, “YOU’RE DOING AMAZING, SWEETIE.” The post got over 1.2 million likes in just under eight hours, along with over seven thousand comments, with some warning Hamilton about the “Kardashian curse.”
What Is The Kardashian Curse?
O’Connor/AFF-USA.com / MEGA
The Kardashian curse is a pop culture urban legend that claims that men who start dating anyone in the Kardashian-Jenner family start experiencing a decline in their careers, mental health, or social circle.
The “curse” first appeared in the early 2010s and has been attributed to Lamar Odom, Kris Humphries, James Harden, and a few others. Earlier this year, Kendall Jenner appeared in a Super Bowl LX ad mocking the curse by joking about betting on her ex-boyfriends. In 2018, Kanye West also referenced the “Kardashian curse” in his song, “Yikes.”

On Saturday, June 6, Kim was seen arriving in Monaco by boat, according to PEOPLE magazine. However, she wasn’t alone. Her sister, Khloé Kardashian, and family friend Simon Huck also showed up to support Kim’s boyfriend.
Hamilton arrived one day earlier, wearing a sheer shirt covered in sequins and tan trousers. Fans suspected that the reality star’s influence might be playing a role in his new wardrobe. Although Kim has known Hamilton for more than a decade, they didn’t start dating until earlier this year.

In 2014, the two crossed paths at the GQ Men of the Year ceremony. However, they didn’t start dating until February 2006, when they had a “romantic meetup” in Paris, as PEOPLE previously reported. The following month, Hamilton left a flirty comment on one of Kim’s Instagram posts, fueling fan rumors.
That same month, they were seen vacationing together in Tokyo with Kim’s four kids: North, 12; Saint, 10; Chicago, 8; and Psalm, 7. Kim shares all four children with her ex-husband, Kanye West. Kim was married to West from 2014 to 2022.
“Kim’s very selective when it comes to the people she allows around her kids,” a source told PEOPLE. “She’s very protective of them and doesn’t take new introductions lightly. The fact that Lewis has spent time with the kids reflects how much she trusts him.”
Kim Kardashian Is Spending More Time With Lewis Hamilton
On June 1, Kim posted a carousel on Instagram that she captioned “lately.” Amid the photos of family and friends, Hamilton can be seen in the fourth slide. The two appear to be on a bike ride together, and Kim seems to be making a face as her bike appears to crash into his.
Many fans were quick to poke fun at their romance, with one fan writing, “Please do not crash into the Ferrari driver. We need him for the weekends.” Another follower admitted, “Was not expecting Lewis Hamilton on your post this afternoon.” A third fan chimed in, “Don’t hurt Lewis, please! He needs to win in Monaco.”

The thriller genre has been among the greatest beneficiaries of this, with small-screen suspense taking the form of everything from fast-paced politics to slow-burn murder mystery in the past decade.
Each of these 10 series have not only made an immediate impression on viewers with their heart-pounding perfection, but they have also gone on to influence television trends as well. Enshrining themselves among the finest small-screen titles of recent years, as well as being some of the greatest thrillers TV has ever seen, these suspenseful series make up the genre’s greatest hits of the last 10 years.

‘Squid Game’ (2021–2025)
Lee Jung-jae in Squid Game.Image via Netflix
Few series in the past decade have had the same cultural impact and medium influence as Squid Game, with the South Korean series not only captivating millions of viewers the world over with its high-concept capitalist critique, but ushering in a mainstream interest in Asian television as well. The show’s premise is remarkably simple; a group of financially desperate competitors participate in a series of children’s games with deadly twists until one emerges as the winner and claims the cash prize.
It’s high-stakes and relentlessly thrilling, with the ceaseless momentum of its life-and-death intensity beautifully supported by its unique and almost playful visual allure. What makes Squid Game such a defining hit, though, is its underlying commentary on wealth disparity. It is a commanding parable of economic strife, the amorality of the elite, and the grueling competitiveness society’s value of money breeds among people.

‘Counterpart’ (2017–2019)
Howard Silk (J.K. Simmons) is sitting at the train station talking on the phone in ‘Counterpart.’Image via Starz
A criminally underrated marriage of high-concept sci-fi and ruthless espionage suspense, Counterpart is a fiercely intelligent spy thriller that centers on a cold war between two parallel universes. Howard Silk (J. K. Simmons) is a meek, low-level bureaucrat who discovers the Berlin-based U.N. office he works for is actually containing a secretive gateway to an alternate world. Working with the other world’s Howard Silk, a hard-edged espionage agent, they try to prevent attacks being carried out on innocent people by vindictive sleeper agents.
Anchored by Simmons’ outstanding dual performance, the series’ two-season run is an intriguing mixture of tight, John le Carré-style spy intensity and absorbing sci-fi world-building. It’s cold and callous, depicting humanity as being suspicious and violent, but it delivers heart-racing suspense from its magnificent opening episode right through to its finale.

‘The Diplomat’ (2023–Present)
Keri Russell as Kate in a shirt and suit jacket with her hair down in The Diplomat Season 3.Image via Netflix
Fast-paced and frenetic, The Diplomat has emerged as one of Netflix’s defining gems of the decade so far, a lively political thriller rich with shocking plot twists and character-driven tension. It follows Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) in her work as the new U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom just as an international crisis erupts. As she navigates the turmoil and political paranoia, she also strives to bolster her own career all while managing her deteriorating marriage to cunning political mastermind, Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell).
The series embraces its somewhat heightened allure, operating less as a realistic descent into the minutiae of global politics, and more as a frenzied thrill-fest of duplicity and betrayal where every daring scheme could destroy the already fragile standing of foreign policy as the U.S. deals with the temperamental and unpredictable British prime minister, Nicol Trowbridge (Rory Kinnear). Complimented by a litany of exceptional performances and a powerful, propulsive sense of momentum, The Diplomat is an enthralling hit of modern political drama that is addictive from the outset.

‘Dark Winds’ (2022–Present)
Zahn McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn and Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito in Dark Winds Season 4Image via AMC
Integrating contemplative and authentic Indigenous storytelling with the bleak brilliance of neo-Western intrigue and period noir, Dark Winds is one of the more stunning and suspenseful crime shows to have aired in the past decade. Based on Tony Hillerman’s ‘Leaphorn & Chee’ novel series, it follows three Navajo Tribal Police officers as they investigate violent crimes that occur in Navajo County in the 1970s.
The AMC series finds an enthralling point of difference in its intimate focus on cultural authenticity, allowing for the spirituality and mysticism of Navajo folklore to be a powerful catalyst for palpable atmospheric storytelling while emphasizing the connection the detectives have to both the land and their people’s history. Also functioning as an intoxicating and intense crime mystery in its own right, Dark Winds is a bold blending of cultural sensitivities and classic television thrills that works on every level.

‘Sharp Objects’ (2018)
Amy Adams as Camille Preaker looking at something intently in Sharp Objects.Image via HBO
Miniseries have been a major television trend of the past decade. Many of which have incorporated suspense into their storytelling, like Chernobyl, The Haunting of Hill House, and Unbelievable. In terms of true genre purism, however, HBO’s underrated crime mystery Sharp Objects emerges as a noteworthy highlight. Based on Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name, it follows disturbed crime reporter Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) as she returns to her hometown to investigate the murder of two young girls.
Interweaving the grim brutality of the case with more character-centric suspense stemming from her volatile familial relationships, Sharp Objects is the epitome of slow-burn excellence. Adams’s incredible performance keeps viewers completely immersed, while the twisty nature of the storytelling and the rich Southern Gothic aesthetic ensure that the tension never dilutes, even as the series evolves at a meticulous and demanding pace.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated You’d Survive In…
Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion
The Matrix
You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.
You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland
Mad Max
The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.
You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049
Blade Runner
You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.
You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis
Dune
Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.
Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away
Star Wars
The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

‘Slow Horses’ (2022–Present)
Sir Gary Oldman in “Slow Horses,” now streaming on Apple TV+.
Image via Apple TV
Advertisement
A modern gem that has quickly become a staple of spy television mastery, Slow Horses soars as a decisively subversive spin on the typically glamorized genre, with its emphasis on deeply flawed characters a refreshing pivot from the brand of debonair excitement most espionage thrillers flaunt. Based on Mick Herron’s novel series ‘Slough House,’ it follows a team of banished MI5 agents who work under the instruction of the crude and callous Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) to combat threats to national security.
While it has found a substantial audience through its dry-witted playfulness, Slow Horses is fundamentally a heart-racing thriller, one that intelligently uses its profoundly human and imperfect characters to engross viewers in the emotional tension of the story, as well as the political and investigative suspense. Its five-season run thus far has been a procession of high-stakes thrills laced with black comedy, and it has made for a bona fide hit of 2020s television as well as a defining success for Apple TV.

‘Ozark’ (2017–2022)
Laura Linney on a mobile phone and Jason Bateman standing near in a yard in Ozark.Image via Netflix
The early years of television’s golden age had defining masterpieces like The Sopranos and The Wire that established crime drama suspense as a small-screen spectacle to behold. Then came series like Breaking BadandBoardwalk Empire. While the genre has probably subsided somewhat in the past decade, it has still produced several noteworthy gems, with Netflix’s Ozark being chief among them as it follows the Byrde family who, forced to work as an asset for a Mexican drug cartel, relocate to the Ozarks to implement a money laundering and drug smuggling operation.
Not dissimilar to Breaking Bad, Ozark thrives as a pulsating thriller by featuring an ordinary protagonist thrust into a life of crime, making every decision feel more resonant, and every life-threatening obstacle more hopeless and enthralling. Through the journey of the Byrdes and the allies and enemies they make in their new home, Ozark delivers four seasons of relentless, ever-building tension that epitomizes crime television suspense at its absorbing and addictive best.

‘Dark’ (2017–2020)
Louis Hofmann as Jonas in Dark.Image via Netflix
Another small-screen masterpiece produced by Netflix, Dark overcame its language barrier to ensnare millions of viewers the world over with its winding, intricate story that includes everything from mind-bending sci-fi to visceral mystery drama. When children start going missing from the German town of Winden, the dark pasts and hidden truths of four of the region’s stalwart families begin to unfurl. The revelation of a wormhole in a cave delivers some sort of answer to the disturbing mystery, but it also plunges those involved on a time-jumping journey that could jeopardize the fate of the entire universe.
Conceived as a tight, three-season series from the beginning, Dark astounds with its narrative precision. Its ability to not only conjure suspense and even horror from the mere revelation of plot details, but to deliver every integral piece of information exactly when it is needed as well, is a feat that is nothing short of ingenious. Also finding tremendous weight in its nuanced and complex character, gloomy atmospheric dread, and its unwavering focus on emotional stakes, Dark is a masterful blending of sci-fi, mystery, and suspense that makes for one of the most defining and ambitious television thrillers in the medium’s history.

‘Severance’ (2022–Present)
Britt Lower and Adam Scott in SeveranceImage via Apple TV
The flagship series of Apple TV’s catalog thus far, and a defining triumph of small-screen entertainment in the 2020s, Severance marks another title to extract unbearable tension from a fundamentally science-fiction story. Set in a world where corporations can have their employees’ memories surgically divided between their work lives and personal experiences, it follows Mark Scout (Adam Scott) as he rallies a small cohort of his colleagues to figure out the true nature of Lumon Industries’ work.
Finding timely resonance in its emphasis on the cultural imbalance many people experience between their professional and private lives, the shady nature of powerful corporations, and the uneasy sense of power many workplaces hold over their employees,Severance is a masterful parable of modern life that asks compelling and relatable questions with its high-concept premise. Also flaunting a piercing satirical wit and rich, engrossing world-building that keeps viewers enthralled, Severance is a sci-fi thriller that has delivered two stunning seasons thus far, with a third set to begin production later this year.

‘Mindhunter’ (2017–2019)
Holt McCallany and Jonathan Groff show a crime scene photo to someone off-screen in Mindhunter.Image via Netflix
In some ways, it is cruel that Netflix only produced two seasons of Mindhunter, with the arresting and atmospheric crime thriller finding a perfect balance between the modern interest in true crime and television tropes that have made crime series so alluring for decades. Set in the 1970s, it follows two FBI agents and a psychologist as they travel around America interviewing detained serial killers. The insights they gain into their motivations, backgrounds, and methodology are applied to active investigations, thus spawning criminal profiling.
Bolstered by David Fincher’s involvement, the series refrains from shocking imagery or grueling details to conjure suspense, instead delving into the warped psyche of some of America’s most notorious and infamous criminals to create a compelling and psychologically disturbing descent into the nature of human evil. Complimented by its agonizing yet hypnotic slow-burn pacing and its rich, cinematic visual display, Mindhunter is a defining triumph of thriller television that stands tall among the best series of any genre from the past decade.
This weekend, BroRilla popped out on Instagram with a “happy Sunday” post that had fans zooming in real quick. In the photo, she showed off long dark wavy hair with a deep side part, laid baby hairs, and inches for days, paired with black pants, white sneakers, a plaid flannel, and stud earrings. And the energy? Very much “you see this glow-up, don’t act surprised.” The smile in the flick said it all as she confidently served face and casual slay at the same time.
This New Look Has The TL Acting Up
As soon as the picture hit the timeline, users wasted no time flooding TSR’s comments with reactions, with plenty of folks joking that she had them ready to hit her with a “shawty lemme get yo numba” moment. Others hyped up the transformation, saying the glow-up was giving effortless and undeniable, while fans continued running with the new look across social media.

BroRilla Stays Turning Heads On The TL
BroRilla stays popping out and showing us she’s always in her own lane, and this latest Instagram moment was no different. Victoria Woods had timelines talking back in May after she rocked a used blonde wig that she revealed belonged to ‘Love & Hip Hop: NYC’ star Mariahlynn, who allegedly had her try it on while they both attended a Zeus Network event. In the clip, BroRilla laughed at the look before snapping right into confidence, telling fans, “And I’m in this motherf***er like, I’m really a bad b**ch,” proving she can turn any moment into a whole personality shift. She also added a second video where she used a filter to cover her scars and asked fans which look they preferred, keeping the conversation going while fully embracing her unfiltered, confident energy.
Hulu is one of the most well-rounded streaming services with a diverse library, but its slate of comedies and dramedies is its strongest asset. The streamer has delivered hits like Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, and The Great, all in the past five years. And looking ahead, the future seems bright for the streamer, as some of the aforementioned shows return for new seasons, while new shows like Not Suitable for Work make their mark. However, one of the best comedy shows on Hulu is an underrated hit show that just returned for an even stronger second season.
This show can be described as The Sopranos, but with a comedic twist. It is funny, sharp, and well-acted. With a 98% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, it remains one of the top-rated shows on Hulu. Titled Deli Boys, the comedy just aired its second season, which has scored a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The six-episode season has pushed the show up the streamer’s global charts, making it one of the most-streamed shows according to FlixPatrol. Additionally, it is also available on Disney+, where it has replicated that same success.
Deli Boys follows two brothers, Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj (Sagar Shaikh), who inherit their family business after their father’s death. However, they learn that what they thought was a successful deli business was actually a well-oiled drug operation. The brothers find themselves entangled with the business under the guidance of their aunt, Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan). Season 2 finds them facing a money problem when they become too good at their job and need a money launderer. Still, in this line of work, law enforcement is always circling, and competitors use any means at their disposal to corner the market. The trio’s attempt to solve these issues gives birth to a hilarious comedy.

What Did Critics Say About ‘Deli Boys’ Season 2?
While critics loved everything about the season, they felt like it was too short. With four fewer episodes, the show delivers a two-hour comedic experience that leaves viewers wanting more. Collider’s Tania Hussain said it “remains one of the funniest and most distinctive shows to come out of streaming,” in her review of Deli Boys Season 2. ScreenRant‘s Angel Shaw noted the short episode count but praised the show for not caving under the pressure of a shorter runway, calling the writing “great.” Nandini Balial of RogerEbert echoed the other critics, calling it “rich, joyous, and one of the funniest shows of the year.” Deli Boys was created by Abdulla Saeed.

Dads are notoriously difficult to shop for, but the last thing we’re going to do is resort to a run-of-the-mill coffee mug. So, I gathered the best Father’s Day gifts — under $50! — that he would be thrilled to receive. Whether he is into grilling, travel, fitness or, well, doesn’t really have any hobbies at all, my 9+ years of experience as a shopping writer and editor is here to help you out.
Remember, the best Father’s Day gifts don’t have to be expensive, but they do have to be thoughtful. That means you should choose something that genuinely feels like something he’d love and use. Just because a gift is a good gift doesn’t mean it’s a good gift for your dad specifically.
Whether he’s headed to the beach or on a kayak, he’ll want to keep some of his belongings safe from the water and sand. This Yeti case is waterproof and comes in 1-, 3- and 6-liter options to hold his phone, wallet and more. It comes in nearly 20 colors and uses powerful magnets to keep it safe from any liquids from sneaking in.
Truth be told: Some dads just don’t know much about skincare, but that’s what you’re here for! My husband swears by the Jack Black brand, and this set includes everything they need to start and end the day, including daily facial cleanser, moisturizer, lip balm and an energizing scrub. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the Intense Therapy Lip Balm with sun protection factor (SPF) 25 for myself. It makes my lips so soft, even in the most brutal of winters.
The next time he’s headed on a work trip or vacation, he’ll have a travel watch case specifically designed to hold the important piece of jewelry. I’m a sucker for a personalized option, and Mark and Graham lets you select the design and characters you want to include. Useful and customized? This is a winning Father’s Day gift all around.
His home away from home, aka his work desk, can be dressed up with a sweet “Best Dad Ever” cube. The 3-by-3 decoration lets you include your own four photos, so dad can rotate it every day for a fresh view of his favorite people. The sweet reminder that he’s the best is the cherry on top.
Whether he’s commuting to the office or mowing the lawn, summer temperatures can get brutal. Ensure he’s as comfortable as possible with a portable fan designed to sit around his neck. This option has a bladeless design, five speeds and rechargeable capability.
This might be the most fun way to mix his drink. The rotatable whiskey glass comes with a wooden coaster designed to spin, which is just cool on its own, but it actually helps accelerate decanting. My husband hinted at wanting a similar glass to enjoy his bourbon, so it must be different enough from his other glasses. Plus, it’s heavy, too, at 1 pound, so it’ll have a nice feel to it in his hands.
Pain, tension and soreness will be on their way out when he uses this massage roller ball. Designed to be used hot or cold, it’ll be a workout fiend’s new best friend. His neck, back, arms, legs, feet and beyond will get sweet relief.
Having used Saltverk for years, I can tell you that these gourmet salts make a true difference in mealtime. If dad is all about seasoning meats and vegetables to perfection, he’ll be impressed with this four-pack variety. I bet he’s never had flaky salt quite like it.
You can’t go wrong with a comfortable way for him to rep his favorite NFL team. These football logo slides have an adjustable strap, so they’ll have the ideal fit across his feet. The next time he runs out for an errand or is just lounging around the house, he’ll be wearing these.
You never know when dad will need a water-resistant blanket, so he’ll keep this pick in his car at all times. The lightweight, puffy blanket comes in two sizes and various colors. The next time he needs a dry, clean place to sit — maybe at a concert? — he’ll be glad you got him one.
Dads love to be comfortable, especially during the warmer months, but he can still look nice in a lightweight button-down. This 100% linen option from Quince is just as reliable as his favorite tees, but the collar makes it more elevated without adding warmth. Give dad the gift of style!
Designed to fit in his car’s cup holder, this Stanley tumbler holds up to 30 ounces of his beverage of choice. It keeps liquid cold for up to 20 hours, thanks to the stainless steel. I love how this leak-resistant option has a handle for portability and flip-up straw to avoid germs.
Is dad’s fishing gear taking over his garage? Help him stay organized and ready for the next adventure with this fishing rod organizer bag. It can hold up to five poles and has plenty of compartments for must-have accessories.
You never truly outgrow playing with toys, and he’ll relive the carefree fun from his childhood with a mini drone. It has three gear speeds and can do 360-degree flips. But what’s really awesome is the camera, so he can capture his adventures.
No dad will be disappointed in comfortable footwear, and that’s what he’ll get with these Crocs slides. They have deep, cupped footbeds to offer a sink-in feeling. These slides are easy to clean, too, so he can rinse them off if they get muddy after cleaning up the garden.
His morning coffee could use an upgrade, so usher him into the world of French press coffee. This stainless steel gadget brews 8 cups of his favorite variety in just four minutes. However, he can tailor that timing and coffee-to-water ratio to create his ideal cup.
You just might make dad tear up this Father’s Day with a reminder of just how much he means to you. This book has prompts for you to fill in, so when he opens it, he’ll find lessons, memories and more you’ve learned from him. It’s one of those gifts he’ll keep forever.
If he’s planning to barbecue or hang outside this summer, he’ll need to play his favorite tunes with this Anker speaker. It is portable and wireless and offers up to 24 hours of playtime on one battery charge. Plus, it’s waterproof, so he can keep it by the pool without a worry.
Dad talks about how he’s seen all the classic films, but how many has he really seen? Allow him to keep track so he knows what he still needs to watch with this scratch-off poster. This top 100 movies list comes from IMDb and will be frame-worthy once he’s gone through them all.
I predict some killer smash burgers on the way once he has this cast-iron griddle pan. One side is flat, and the other has ridges, so he can use the one he needs depending on what’s on the menu. He can use this pan on the stovetop, in the oven, on the grill and even on a campfire.
Dad is always teaching you things, but now you can teach him to protect himself when he drives with a dash cam. This option has dual vision, so he can get footage in the front and rear. He won’t have to worry about deleting footage, either, because it’ll continue to film over the oldest video.
Finding a summer dress that’s polished without sacrificing comfort often feels impossible, but this year, Amazon shoppers have found a stylish solution. Many are already obsessing over Dokotoo’s Ruffle midi dress, which nails that effortlessly elevated look, combining breezy comfort with a silhouette that makes it seem far more expensive than its $40 price tag. Will Friedle had no intention of saying “yes” to joining the Boy Meets Worldspinoff, Girl Meets World — especially after producer Michael Jacobs told him he couldn’t write for the show. Thankfully, something changed.
“We made a deal,” Friedle, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Doc Meets World premiere red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday, June 6. “If I came back on camera and did three episodes, then I could write it. So, we did a little, a little trading.”
Friedle, who did end up writing a couple episodes of the show, recalled the moment he learned of the Boy Meets World spinoff.
“I wasn’t going to do it, and not only because of the acting [and my anxiety] but I found out about GMW when, like, CNN called and asked for a comment,” he explained in Doc Meets World. “And [Jacobs] said you can do whatever on the show, and I said, ‘I want to be a writer,’ and he was like, ‘You can’t do that.’”
Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Danielle Fishel may have many fond memories of her time on Boy Meets World, but returning for the show’s spinoff, Girl Meets World, was an entirely different — and “difficult” — experience. After portraying the role of Topanga for seven seasons on the ABC ‘90s hit, Fishel, 43, returned for the Disney […]
More than a decade after Boy Meets World came to an end in 2000, the spinoff premiered on Disney Channel and followed Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel)’s daughter, Riley Matthews. Girl Meets World ultimately aired from 2014 to 2017.

Five years later, Friedle teamed up with Fishel and Boy Meets World costar Rider Strong for a podcast titled “Pod Meets World.” The group rewatches episodes of Boy Meets World, providing commentary alongside various guests — including their former costars.
“I told you, years later, I had a crush on you, Danielle,” Friedle said during the Thursday, June 4, episode of their “Pod Meets World” podcast. “Years later, I almost asked you out.”
Boy Meets World became a family sitcom phenomenon during its seven-season run on ABC from 1993 to 2000. Created by Michael Jacobs, the show followed the life and life lessons of Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) from home with parents Alan (William Russ) and mother Amy (Betsy Randle) to school with neighbor and forever-teacher George Feeny […]
Fishel, however, shared that she “never knew” about Friedle’s crush before he admitted his feelings to her.
“This was like … 2005, [2006], something like that. It wasn’t long after Boy, and we were all hanging out again a little bit,” Friedle clarified of what he felt with Fishel.
“I remember there was one time where we were hanging out, and … I was single and Danielle was single. I was like, ‘Oh, that might be interesting to entertain,’” he continued, sharing that he never pursued a relationship with Fishel. “There would have been a weirdness to it.”

After Strong told his podcast cohosts that their lack of relationship was for the best, Friedle agreed.
“It would have been a whole different podcast, I’m sure, at that point,” he said. “And she wouldn’t have met [her husband Jensen Harp], and I wouldn’t have met [his wife Susan Martens]. And, yeah, we wouldn’t have been happy.”

For the first time in over a decade, one of David Fincher‘s movies will get a theatrical release. This is an astonishing reality that no one, not even Fincher, would have seen coming when he released Gone Girl in 2014. By then, he’d already been involved in the creation of the first-ever Netflix original series, House of Cards, but he couldn’t have known that the streamer would become his exclusive home for the next decade. It still is, it’s just that Netflix has finally decided to fiddle around with theatrical releases and Fincher happens to be someone it owes. The director’s upcoming period comedy-drama, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, will get a four-week IMAX run before debuting on Netflix later this year. Early next year, Netflix will give Greta Gerwig‘s Narnia reboot a proper theatrical rollout worldwide.
This marks a major change in strategy for the streamer, whose leadership has previously stated that movie theaters are obsolete. But Netflix reportedly spent $200 million on The Adventures of Cliff Booth, and any additional revenue will be welcome. The movie serves as a spin-off to movie-theater crusader Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and brings back star Brad Pitt in the titular role. Pitt’s recent success with the Apple TV sports drama F1, which grossed more than $630 million worldwide, could’ve swayed Netflix to give The Adventures of Cliff Booth the theatrical release that, according to many, a movie like it deserves. Fincher is no stranger to big-screen success. After an unpleasant experience on Alien 3, the filmmaker announced his arrival with perhaps the most controversial thriller of the 1990s.

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th
Jason Voorhees
Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.
He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.
Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween
Michael Myers
Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.
But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.
Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street
Freddy Krueger
Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.
You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.

Derry, Maine · It
Pennywise
Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.
The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.

Chicago · Child’s Play
Chucky
Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.
You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

David Fincher’s Darkest Movie Is Streaming for Free
The movie we’re talking about, of course, is Se7en. Starring Pitt and Morgan Freeman as detectives tracking down an elusive serial killer in an unnamed American city, the movie shocked audiences and critics all the way to a $327 million worldwide box-office haul, and an 84% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It remained Fincher’s top-grossing movie until 2008, when it was marginally overtaken by The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, also starring Pitt. In 2014, Fincher broke his personal box-office record with Gone Girl, which grossed $370 million globally. Fincher’s subsequent two features — Mank and The Killer — were both released on Netflix. The Adventures of Cliff Booth will be released theatrically in IMAX on November 25, followed by a Netflix release worldwide on December 23. Se7en, on the other hand, can be accessed for free instantly on Tubi. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
