Years after leaving the Playboy mansion and stepping into the real estate world, Kendra Wilkinson is now sharing that the career path has not been a bed of roses.

The former Playboy model earned her real estate license in 2020 and quickly began building a name for herself in the industry.

From closing deals to starring in a series that followed her journey as an agent, Wilkinson appeared to be thriving in her new profession. However, she is now shedding light on the challenges she faces in her job.

Over the weekend, Wilkinson got candid on her social media, reflecting on the emotional toll of her profession despite her passion for the work.

“I don’t feel good,” Wilkinson admitted in her Instagram post. “I have to smile like everything is ok when it just isn’t.” The 40-year-old went on to explain that her field isn’t just about buying and selling homes, but it’s about people. 

She then spoke about the difficulties she has experienced as a woman working in that industry. “Being a woman sometimes surrounded by men is scary, feels like there’s no room for me a lot of the time even when I do my part of the job,” Wilkinson wrote. 

The reality TV star added that she chose the line of work not because of fame, but because she needed to rebuild her life after a divorce and being alone. However, she feels like her celebrity status has been exploited by others.

“Unfortunately, I’ve hit a major wall with people,” the former TV personality shared. “People have used me for my celebrity and spit me out even though I don’t even see myself as a celebrity; people still do.”

Amid the challenges, Wilkinson questioned whether she should quit or continue, admitting she is scared and uncertain as to “what to do at this moment in time.”

Kendra Wilkinson Previously Stepped Away From The Industry

Wilkinson’s latest revelation comes two years after she temporarily put her professional ambitions on hold to focus on other priorities.

As The Blast reported, she explained at the time that she wanted to dedicate more energy to her mental well-being and her two children, son Hank IV and daughter Alijah, whom she shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett.

Even then, Wilkinson acknowledged that the job was hard and suggested she might eventually return.

The ‘Kendra Sells Hollywood’ Star Dealt With Depression 

Wilkinson has since been open about her mental health journey, even reflecting on the panic attack that sent her to the hospital in 2024. 

Per The Blast, she recalled the incident, saying she was unable to breathe, her chest tightening as fear took over, leaving her in tears and confusion. Wilkinson added that it felt like she had “hit rock bottom”  and was “dying of depression.”

She connected much of her pain to her twenties when she starred on “Girls Next Door.”  Although that chapter had ended, she admitted that it “messed up” her life, and the impact has lingered, leaving her to confront the trauma only now.

Wilkinson Addressed Criticism About Her Appearance

While opening up about personal challenges, Wilkinson has also responded to criticism surrounding her looks. In March, the former model shut down negative comments and embraced the natural changes that come with aging.

According to The Blast, she shared a selfie and explained that although she once relied on filters, she now prefers to show herself exactly as she is.

“I’ve seen many people comment saying I’ve aged ‘poorly,’ and that is ok. I’m ok with aging ‘poorly,’” she wrote, adding that she is happier now than ever before.

Alongside pushing back against critics, Wilkinson has remained committed to her personal health goals.

Three months ago, she revealed that she planned to use a GLP-1 medication as part of her weight-loss journey. Now, she is sharing an encouraging update on her progress.

In a recent post, the “Kendra on Top” star appeared noticeably slimmer, wearing an oversized brown blazer paired with fitted black pants and a nude camisole.

Wilkinson proudly revealed that she could once again fit into her size-six jeans, describing the moment as “exciting.”

As reported by The Blast, she explained in the caption that she has been approaching the process with patience and purpose. Wilkinson noted that the number on the scale is not her main focus. Instead, she is driven by a desire to regain her energy, feel more like herself, and improve her overall well-being.

There is no shortage of entertaining movies out there, but there’s a certain crime thriller that is streaming on Netflix right now that is begging to be watched. Savages, a 2012 movie starring Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, and Salma Hayek, is worth a watch or a re-watch if you haven’t seen it in a while. It’s a fun ride that’s packed with drugs, sex, action, violence, and even more drugs.

Savage’s Savage Setup

In Savages, best friends Ben and Chon start their own marijuana business in California, and it flourishes beyond what they could have ever expected. In fact, their business becomes so successful that it catches the attention of a Mexican drug cartel. When confronted by the cartel’s drug enforcer, the best friends attempt to abandon their business and flee the country, but things get much more complicated for them.

The cartel kidnaps Ophelia, Ben and Chon’s shared girlfriend, forcing the two best friends to team up with the DEA to get her back while trying to take down the cartel. It turns the film from a light-hearted, positive story of success to a dark and violent drama that will leave you yearning for salvation.

A Cast And Crew Firing On All Cylinders

Savages was directed by Oliver Stone, the creative mind behind classic films like Natural Born Killers, JFK, and Platoon. He and writer Shane Salerno developed the screenplay based on the novel of the same name by Don Winslow. In 2012, the author wrote a prequel to the original novel entitled The Kings of Cool, but that has not been adapted into a movie, at least not yet.

The cast of Savages is filled with talented Hollywood stars, including Aaron-Taylor Johnson, who plays Ben, the businessman who knows how to grow the best marijuana, and Taylor Kitsch, who plays Chon, the military veteran who smuggles the best marijuana seeds out of Afghanistan.

Blake Lively stars as Ophelia (who goes by O), the gorgeous free spirit who dates both Ben and Chon at the same time. John Travolta plays DEA Agent Dennis Cain, while Benicio del Toro plays Miguel “Lado” Arroyo, the Mexican drug cartel enforcer.

Salma Hayek stars as Elena “La Reina” Sánchez, the leader of the drug cartel who proves to be heartless and vindictive, always getting what she wants. This is a standout role for the actress, who often plays the role of a love interest or an antagonist. Her performance in Savages, which is loosely based on Mireya Moreno Carreon, Mexico’s first female cartel boss, earned her a nomination at the 2012 ALMA Awards for Favorite Movie Actress in a Drama/Adventure.

A Solid Action Thriller For The Weekend

While much of Savages takes place in Laguna Beach, California, most of the filming was actually shot in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. The production designer Tomas Voth wanted to use real marijuana plants for the film’s business nursery but wasn’t allowed due to some legal restraints, so they packed the estate full of fake marijuana plants.

The chemistry between Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, and Blake Lively seems very natural on screen, but when the three had to film a sex scene, Taylor Kitsch shared that he was actually very nervous. It was one of the first scenes that was filmed, and he had only known Blake Lively for a few days. Plus, this was right around the time she got married to Ryan Reynolds, so that must have been quite intimidating.

Savages was released in theaters on July 6, 2012, and it earned $16.2 million on its opening weekend. Overall, it managed to earn $82 million against a production budget of $45 million. Even though it wasn’t a box office smash, it still managed to earn back nearly double its production budget.

The film received a lot of positive reviews, with many captivated by the intense action, sultry sex appeal, and the turmoil that the characters have to face. Roger Ebert even gave the film three and a half out of four stars, citing that he was impressed by Oliver Stone’s ability to balance the business and financial aspect of the film with the drug element, revealing just how much they have in common.

For years, Rosie O’Donnell built a reputation for saying exactly what was on her mind, even when the subject was uncomfortable.

That honesty recently extended to a deeply personal decision. After quietly undergoing a facelift, the comedian chose to share the news herself.

Her explanation touched on truth, self-image, family reactions, and the pressure of living in the public eye.

Rosie O’Donnell sparked conversation last month when she revealed she had undergone a facelift.

The comedian later expanded on that decision while speaking on the red carpet at the 2026 Tony Awards in New York City.

O’Donnell explained that remaining transparent felt especially important at a time when she believes honesty is increasingly rare.

“Authenticity is the goal in these days and times, and people are lying about everything all day to the American public,” she told E! News. “It’s very depressing to me and unsettling, and I think all that matters is truth and love, and so I wanted to be truthful and say all the complicated emotions I had about it.”

The actress had already discussed the procedure on her Substack, where she admitted feeling conflicted about her decision.

Rather than allow speculation to take over, she preferred to speak openly about the experience and the emotions that came with it.

Rosie O’Donnell Faced Resistance At Home

While many celebrities keep cosmetic procedures private, O’Donnell’s decision to go public was complicated by the reactions of people closest to her.

One particularly memorable response came from her 13-year-old child, whose opinion caused her to delay the procedure.

“My little autistic 13-year-old said to me, ‘If you do it, I would not be able to respect you ever again,’” she recalled. “And that put me off it for a few months, but then when I went and did it in January, I came home 10 days later, and they never noticed.”

The comment stayed with her long after it was made. Still, after weighing her feelings for months, O’Donnell moved forward with the surgery.

She also admitted that part of her motivation for speaking publicly was practical. Rather than wait for a tabloid to reveal the story, she preferred to tell it herself.

“I just wanted to say, ‘This is what I did, and here’s the doctor, and if you want to,’” she shared. “But it’s very expensive — it’s more expensive than any car I ever bought, but I can’t drive around in my face.”

Weight Loss Played A Major Role

The procedure was not about chasing perfection, according to O’Donnell. Instead, it addressed changes she experienced after significant weight loss.

The former talk show host revealed she had lost more than 50 pounds while taking Mounjaro and managing diabetes. That transformation left her dealing with loose skin around her face.

“I’m on Mounjaro over the last three years, I have diabetes too, and I lost over 50 pounds, and that was responsible for a lot of the extra skin that I had around my face,” she told E! News.

O’Donnell has also made it clear that she does not intend to continue pursuing cosmetic procedures.

She viewed the facelift as a solution to concerns she had about her appearance rather than the beginning of a larger transformation.

The surgery focused primarily on tightening loose skin and addressing facial lines that had become more noticeable after her weight loss journey.

After recovering, O’Donnell decided to show the results without filters or heavy editing. She posted before-and-after images and reflected on how she felt when she looked in the mirror.

“I wanted to still be me, just … less haunted,” she wrote on Substack. “And I do look like me — A slightly more well-rested, emotionally stable version of me.”

The comedian stressed that the procedure did not change who she was. Instead, she viewed it as a way of feeling more comfortable with the face staring back at her each day.

“I didn’t disappear, I didn’t become someone else — I just stopped arguing with the mirror,” she added. “And maybe that’s enough. Or at the very least … it’s what a lower deep plane face lift looks like when it minds its own business.”

Those comments resonated with many readers who appreciated her candid description of aging, self-image, and personal choice.

Public Reaction Was Deeply Divided

As often happens with celebrity transformations, reactions online were mixed.

As The Blast reported, some critics questioned the results and openly mocked the procedure after Rosie O’Donnell posted comparison photos on social media. Others argued that cosmetic surgery rarely produces the desired outcome and suggested the facelift had not made a significant difference.

Angel is one of the original five, but in the series, he does not appear to have any prior knowledge of the X-Men. Seasons later, this would be contradicted when he was officially established as one of the original five X-Men. These types of retcons can happen, especially when shows aren’t planned out, but X-Men ‘97 appears to resolve this officially. According to the new X-Men ‘97 trailer, Angel’s history is being put to rest.

‘X-Men ‘97’ Season 2 Confirms Angel’s Role In the X-Men

It’s been three decades, and X-Men is finally able to right some wrongs. Already, the sophomore season of one of the greatest animated series of the last five years seems to be everything that fans have been waiting for, including some hints about Ange’s future in the storyline. In a blink and you’ll miss it moment, the green-haired mistress of metal, Polaris, is looking at photographs. One features Angel in original X-Men garb alongside the rest of the original mutants of Xavier’s team. This doubles down on the fact that Angel is an original X-Men member, though it doesn’t necessarily fix the Season 1 continuity error.

That may be addressed, however, considering the direction that the season is going in. Apocalypse is coming for the X-Men, and to make matters most dire, he is using time travel to wipe out all vestiges of the team. The mutant ensemble is no stranger to time travel, but this could be a way for the series to put to rest Angel’s murky past altogether. Though unconfirmed, the fact that time travel is a tool in the new season may hint at how Angel’s timeline could finally make sense.

If mutants are hobnobbing all over time and space, perhaps it could explain why Angel seemed to have no recollection of his time with the X-Men in the first season of the series. Of course, when it comes to scale, this is likely the least of the X-Men’s worries. As shown in the trailer, Angel is returning to the small screen in one of his most infamous capacities.

Angel Returns in ‘X-Men ‘97’ As One of the Four Horsemen

When X-Nen ‘97 returns next month, there is a lot of ground to cover. The stakes have never been higher as Apocalypse vows to erase the timeline of all evidence of the X-Men. Comic fans know that where Apocalypse goes, the Four Horsemen are likely to follow. While there have been many Horsemen in the run of X-Men comics, Angel is one of the most well-known. The Season 2 trailer confirms his return — and in a slightly sharper form.

A brief moment in the trailer shows Angel’s return as Archangel, Apocalypse’s Horseman with metal wings. Using blades to fight the X-Men, it appears that he is returning as the Horseman of Death, as he was first introduced in the previous iteration of the animated series. With the inclusion of the Age of Apocalypse, Archangel’s appearance isn’t that surprising. However, it does confirm that X-Men ‘97 isn’t just here to capitalize on nostalgia. It is the very lifeblood that Marvel has needed all this time.

Marvel has recently been backsliding into tired old dynamics when fans have needed something new. The X-Men aren’t necessarily new to Marvel, but this new version of the animated series proves that all fans want is quality programming that has a creative force behind it. Confirming Angel’s role in the X-Men celebrates the previous series while also recontextualizing it for a new era of media consumption. X-Men ‘97 is a perfect combination of the new and the old and is ushering in a new age for Marvel.

Here’s an awkward admission: sometimes, I watch movies simply because I think they’re going to be the kind of trainwreck that I can’t tear my eyes away from. That’s why I ended up watching The Last Duel (2021), one of the weirdest titles in director Ridley Scott’s filmography. While Scott had done historical epics such as Gladiator before, he was a director I always associated with ambitious sci-fi films such as Alien, Blade Runner, and Prometheus. Now, all of a sudden, he was directing a swords-and-sandals medieval romp that starred distractingly famous faces like Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Adam Driver. Jason Bourne fighting Kylo Ren in ye olden times? This I had to see!

Again, my assumption was that this was going to absolutely suck. The male leads all have distractingly modern faces, the story is very dense, and Ridley Scott isn’t always consistent (seriously, go compare Gladiator and Gladiator II, I dare you). To my utter shock, though, The Last Duel is surprisingly great. The director mashes together a famous storytelling technique and a luscious medieval setting to offer very nuanced commentary on sex, violence, and power. This is Scott boldly going where he has never gone before, and you can join his journey by streaming The Last Duel on Disney+.

Good Will Dueling

The central plot of The Last Duel is relatively straightforward. A knight played by Matt Damon begins the film having a relatively positive relationship with his squire, a man played by Adam Driver. However, the squire ends up having sex with the knight’s wife, and the characters have very different accounts of this particular event. The squire maintains that this was consensual sex, but the knight maintains that his former friend assaulted his beloved wife. They take the matter to the highest law in the land, and the King decrees that they will settle the matter through the titular last duel.  

While that may sound simplistic enough, Scott adds complexity to The Last Duel by embracing the classic Rashomon storytelling method. We don’t just hear about what happened in a he said, she said kind of way; instead, the movie brings everyone’s very different accounts to life. We first see the knight’s version of events and then the squire’s, culminating in the final, explicitly true account from the knight’s wife (played by Jodie Comer). In this way, the film invites us to investigate our own assumptions about these characters and events, all of which are inevitably shaped by modern debates about the relationship between sex, power, and systemic misogyny. 

The Medieval World As You’ve Never Seen It 

The writing and the performances (more on those soon) in The Last Duel are really top-notch. However, it’s worth pointing out that this is one of the rare films that would be worth watching even with the sound off. That’s because it’s a visual feast from beginning to end, one that perfectly recreates a bygone era. Nothing looks like a simple sound stage; instead, it looks like Scott painstakingly brought the 15th century back to life. That’s a major part of what makes this movie so immersive: long before you discover its characters and plot, you’ll fall in love with its stark beauty.

To put it in blunter terms, The Last Duel is a movie where you can really see the money onscreen. While a good chunk of the $100 million dollar budget likely went to the bigger names in the cast, it’s clear that there was plenty of cash left for sets and costumes. That may sound like a low bar to clear, but keep in mind that The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin reportedly spent $20 million on seven episodes, and the costumes and props look like they were fished out of a Spirit Halloween dumpster. 

By contrast, every aspect of The Last Duel’s costumes and props is so lovingly crafted that each scene transports us half a millennium into the past.

Surprisingly Immersive Performances 

To my astonishment, The Last Duel’s performances are really, really good. The Rashomon storytelling style allows leading man Matt Damon to play multiple versions of his character. Sometimes, he is charming and noble; other times, he is cold and conniving. The same is broadly true of Adam Driver’s character, who is alternately portrayed as a greedy, lustful social climber or as a charismatic man and gentle lover. This is part of the movie’s magic trick, of course: which narrative you find more convincing ultimately reveals more about you than the various characters onscreen.

While Ben Affleck is great as a count who’d rather pick up a wine glass than a sword, the best performance of The Last Duel comes from Jodie Comer. She plays the knight’s wife, a role that often reduces her agency and presents her as a prize to be fought over by rival men. The movie is very interested in examining misogyny and its effects through a medical lens, something I worried that Ridley Scott would struggle to portray. But Comer’s nuanced and delicate performance helps hammer this point home even as her own narrative underscores the need to believe women when they speak out about their attackers.

Living Up To The Title

In case you’re wondering, The Last Duel really lives up to its title. Everything comes down to a nasty duel between Damon and Driver, one that is intended to reveal the truth of the squire’s alleged crimes. The duel works well as a fight scene, and its sheer brutality gives this film a messy, must-watch climax. But the duel also works as a culmination of the movie’s themes, revealing that truth is a very illusory concept: what and who we believe is often an extension of our societal programming. And while you can kill a man, it’s not nearly so easy to kill what you have been programmed to believe. 

The Last Duel is a meaty, medieval melodrama from a director best known for redefining the sci-fi genre. But Ridley Scott does an excellent job telling a very unconventional story with a method that makes each scene more immersive than the last. Do you want to get to the bottom of this mystery and see who the real villain is? Or maybe you just want to drool over lavish sets and pulse-pounding fight scenes? Either way, you need to put down the sword and pick up the remote, as The Last Duel is currently streaming on Disney+!

One of the biggest franchises in the world is heading into much bigger, stompier territory this summer, and the Science Guy is one of the key figures involved in dealing with some dino DNA.

The PAW Patrol gang is heading for a new adventure, crash-landing on an island full of dinosaurs, which feels like a lot for a group of dogs who already have to deal with Mayor Humdinger on a regular basis. Some of them just want a quiet life. This time around, the PAW Patrol pups end up shipwrecked on an uncharted tropical island full of dinosaurs, and it’s there that they meet Rex, a young dog who’s been stranded on the island for years and is essentially Dr. Alan Grant at this stage. Things quickly get worse when Mayor Humdinger begins recklessly mining the island for its natural resources, accidentally triggering a huge dormant volcano. That isn’t good.

The new trailer for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie will also arrive on Wednesday, June 10, ahead of the film’s theatrical release on August 14, 2026. The movie will also feature a new Backstreet Boys single, “Bottle Up,” presumably because if you’re making a kids movie that might end up driving parents round the bend, you may as well through in a bop full of pop nostalgia for the parents too.
