Sam Neill, 'Jurassic Park' Icon, Dies at 78
Sam Neill, the beloved New Zealand actor best known to generations of movie fans as Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park, has died at the age of 78. In a statement, they said his passing was “sudden and unexpected,” but that he was surrounded by family and “passed with the dignity that has characterised his whole life.”
