Sister Wives: Was Meri the Only Wife to Offer This to Kody?

Sister Wives star Meri Brown took her spiritual divorce from Kody Brown extremely seriously. Kody stayed with Robyn, and now he sees monogamy with the fourth wife as his fate. But sadly he may have missed the boat. After watching 20 seasons of this TLC show, viewers got to see what each wife offered Kody Brown. But only one seemed focused on him as a husband much of the time.

Sister Wives: It Was All About Family for the Brides of Kody Brown?

Kody Brown‘s wives all talked about what a great father he was for years. That was until the kids became young adults and the relationships between Dad and offspring became rocky. Sister Wives fans watched this unfold in the last several seasons of the TLC series.

Starting with Janelle Brown, her relationship with Kody was described as cerebral. He looked at her as a good buddy, someone he could talk to for hours. So, when his time was scheduled at her house, she loved having him there for her kids, and she enjoyed the long talks with her husband.

Then there’s Christine Brown, who was his playful wife and someone he could laugh with. But she too thought the world of Kody as a father to her children when they were younger. Of course, Robyn Brown made it clear that she wanted a father for her kids. She never tried to hide this when becoming wife number four. But with Meri Brown, it seemed different.

Meri Brown Was Different?

While Meri Brown loved having Kody Brown as the father of their only child, there seemed to be more to it than that for the first wife of the Sister Wives family. Look at the ex-wives today; none of them seem to miss being his wife, except maybe for one… Meri Brown.

Now that Robyn Brown has him all to herself, she is not happy about it. Robyn claims she got a raw deal when her sister wives divorced Kody.

Having other women sharing her husband and her life was her main reason for turning to polygamy. Christine Brown Woolley is happily married to David Woolley and loving monogamy. So she seemed to effortlessly replace Kody.

Janelle is starting an entire new life in North Carolina with her kids. From what the Sister Wives fans learned through the years, Janelle and Kody were more like friends. She also loved the way Kody embraced fatherhood with their six kids, but only when they were younger.

Sister Wives: Meri’s Approach to Kody

Sister Wives fans watched as Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn dealt with the aftermath of Kody’s divorces. Janelle and Christine didn’t seem to mind that Kody no longer shared their bed. Robyn Brown alluded to getting too much of Kody Brown now that he is not making the rounds anymore.

But then there is Meri. When Kody came out to say he never loved the women, all except for Robyn, the responses from his ex-wives were different. All three ex-wives said he wasn’t telling the truth, but Janelle and Christine seemed mad, while Meri seemed deeply hurt by this. It was easy for the Sister Wives fans to see she still missed Kody Brown.

Today Kody Brown is all about relishing the only wife he has left, but Robyn Brown doesn’t seem to want all his attention. Sister Wives fans are happy for Meri Brown starting her new life without Kody. But some fans can’t help but wonder if Kody Brown wanted to embrace monogamy, he might have chosen the wrong wife.
