Fresh footage of Solange Knowles’ son has set social media buzzing after a series of clips showed him spending time with reality TV star Tommie Lee.

The videos didn’t just spark dating speculation; they also brought renewed attention to Julez’s life in the spotlight, something he has previously addressed in candid detail.

The speculation began with a set of clips shared by The Shade Room on Instagram, showing Solange Knowles’ son and Tommie Lee together during a night out.

One of the most talked-about moments, seemingly reported from her Snapchat, featured Lee filming herself while Julez carried her on his back. As they laughed and talked, he said, “Typa sh*t you do when you like somebody.”

The 41-year-old rapper responded by calling him, “My baby. So fine,” leaning into the playful exchange. 

Julez then joked that it was “hard to be fine” while carrying someone, but she quickly fired back, “Still fine,” as both continued laughing.

Another clip from the same night showed Lee holding onto Julez’s arm after getting down from his back.

In that moment, the pair were heard laughing about their “crazy weekend,” suggesting they had spent more time together beyond what was shown in a single video.

In one clip included in an Instagram carousel, the two were seen watching a female contortionist perform. 

As the performance unfolded, a male voice, appearing to be Julez, reacted by asking, “You can do that?”

The video included overlaid text that appeared to be a response to the voice’s question. 

It read, “Sure can [two laughing emojis] and better,” continuing the same playful tone seen throughout the night.

Solange Knowles’ Son Opens Up About Early Scrutiny And ‘Misconceptions’

As the videos circulate, Julez has already spoken about what it means to grow up under constant public attention.

During a recent livestream, he revealed the biggest challenge of being in the public eye as “Misconceptions,” explaining that people have been forming opinions about him since “the start of [my] life.”

He shared a specific moment from his childhood, saying per PEOPLE, “Look, the first time I ever heard of myself in the media was [when] I was in seventh grade, and my mom posted this picture of me.” In that image, Julez was dressed as LL Cool J in a red jumpsuit at age 13.

What followed was immediate backlash. “This is grown -ss adults who was calling me gay at what, 13?” he said, pointing out how early and harsh the public reaction was.

The model also recalled being labeled a “pretty boy,” highlighting how strangers made assumptions about him at a young age despite knowing nothing about his life.

Solange Knowles’ Family Addressed Elevator Incident After Global Fallout

Solange Knowles and her family have been in the spotlight multiple times in recent months. 

In December 2025, the 2014 elevator incident involving Jay-Z and her sister Beyoncé resurfaced after a designer revealed what allegedly caused the altercation.

Recall that the moment, captured on surveillance footage at a New York hotel following the Met Gala, showed Knowles physically confronting the rapper while Beyoncé stood nearby. 

The video quickly spread after being released, leading to widespread speculation about what had happened.

In a joint statement issued to the Associated Press after the footage went public, the trio said, “There has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident,” before emphasizing, “the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.”

They added that both parties “acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public” and confirmed that apologies had been made.

The statement also pushed back on certain claims, saying, “The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false.”

Rachel Roy’s Designer Reveals What Caused The Drama

As The Blast reported, fashion designer Oscar G. Lopez, who created Rachel Roy’s Met Gala gown, claimed the situation escalated after an interaction during the event. 

He said, “I think that Jay complimented her about the gown and Beyoncé’s sister felt that it was not proper, so it was a kind of a drama there.”

The surveillance footage, which had no audio, showed Knowles kicking and punching Jay-Z while a bodyguard attempted to restrain her. 

Jay-Z did not retaliate; instead, he raised his arms and backed away, while Beyoncé stood nearby.

After the video was released, it spread quickly and dominated headlines. Lopez later noted how the attention impacted him, saying Roy had been “late” to the event and missed the red carpet, but “the dress was all over the news.”

He added, “Any press is good press,” and described the situation as “a collateral damage,” saying, “It was meant to be.”
