Taylor Swift Is Back Cheering Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift is back in her cheerleader era, this time as Travis Kelce‘s wife.
The pop star returned to Arrowhead Stadium Monday night to support her husband at his first Chiefs game since their wedding. Swift watched from a VIP suite while chatting with Tom Cruise during the Chiefs’ matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Swift has remained mostly quiet about the wedding, even as fans continue asking for a glimpse.
Swift was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night supporting Kelce. She wore a red-and-white polo top, styled her hair in loose waves, and completed the look with her signature red lip.
The singer was spotted alongside Tom Cruise inside a VIP suite. The pair appeared to chat while watching Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos.
The Grammy singer has been an avid Chiefs fan since she quietly started dating Kelce in the summer of 2023. She reportedly attended numerous games and was also there when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas in February 2024.
Her return comes after she kept a lower profile during the most recent NFL season. That season began after she and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025. Page Six reported that Swift attended the game as she supported Kelce at his first Chiefs appearance since their July wedding.
The Singer’s Chiefs Loyalty Goes Back Years
Swift has attended numerous Chiefs games since her relationship with Kelce became public. She was also present when Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Kelce also became a regular presence at Swift’s concerts as their romance developed.
The couple eventually took their relationship to another level with their August 2025 engagement. They later exchanged vows on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Their wedding reportedly brought together around 1,000 guests inside the famous venue. The wedding reportedly took place inside a “castle” constructed within Madison Square Garden. Guests were treated to food stations, carnival games, and three specialty cocktails with playful names.
Multiple camera crews were also reportedly present throughout the celebration. That detail has fueled speculation that Swift may eventually release footage from the private event. An eyewitness described the atmosphere as being like a movie set. The insider even expressed hope that Swift could eventually turn the footage into “a Netflix special.”
The couple has nevertheless kept their wedding details largely private since the ceremony. Swift and Kelce are reportedly adapting to married life while juggling their separate work schedules. They reportedly still “light up” when calling each other husband and wife.
Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Facing Pressure From Fans
Fans have continued demanding photos, particularly a look at the wedding dress she has kept out of the public eye. The pressure intensified after Swift and Kelce were photographed holding hands during a Manhattan date night.
The outing reportedly marked their first date night as newlyweds and featured Swift wearing Stella McCartney. The lack of official wedding photographs has left some fans openly frustrated. A fan questioned how they could follow the “Shake It Off” singer for so long without seeing the dress.
A fan wrote, “I just need to see the wedding dress. They don’t even need to be on her. Photos on a mannequin will do.” Others have questioned why Swift has remained so quiet about an event many expected her to document.
One frustrated fan even threatened to stop supporting the singer while demanding to know where the wedding pictures were. The Blast reported that Swift is aware of jokes surrounding the wedding, including comments about designer handbags given to guests.
The wedding also faced criticism over its lavishness, with complaints involving street closures, police presence, and disruption around Madison Square Garden. Some critics reportedly compared Swift to “Marie Antoinette” because of the event’s extravagance.
Why The Power Couple Want Privacy
Kelce has offered more information about why the couple chose to keep the wedding private. He explained on the season five premiere of his “New Heights” podcast that guests were required to surrender their phones. He said the phone-free environment allowed everyone to remain present.
The couple wanted the celebration to feel private, and Kelce said Madison Square Garden went “above and beyond” to make that possible. Kansas City’s tight end also described the wedding as a “very magical, magical night.” His comments gave fans a glimpse into why the couple has resisted turning the entire celebration into public content.
Swift’s reported approach is that she does not owe anyone access to her wedding day. According to the Daily Mail source, she will not share those memories until she is ready. The source revealed that the photos will not be “transactional” for selling her album or supporting an announcement.
Taylor Swift’s Wedding Ring Became A Major Detail
The “I Knew It, I Knew You,” singer gave fans another way to notice her new status. Her wedding ring became impossible to miss during her first major public musical appearance after marrying Kelce. Swift displayed her engagement ring and gold wedding band during her Grammy Museum appearance.
The performance marked an important return after she had largely stayed out of the spotlight following the wedding. The diamond on her engagement ring was especially noticeable while she performed at the floral-covered piano. Swift performed a three-song mashup during the Grammy Museum’s Icon Sessions.
She performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” “August,” and an extended version of “All Too Well,” changing the latter two endings to create a more optimistic finish.
During the Grammy Museum appearance, she credited “folklore” with helping prepare her to write. She described the album as a “pressure release valve” and an “escape into my imagination.”
Swift explained that she often created characters who interacted with one another while working on the record. Her performance also featured “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which was included on the “Toy Story 5” soundtrack.
Taylor Swift appears ready to keep cheering for Travis Kelce while protecting the parts of their marriage they want to keep for themselves.
