Taylor Swift Reportedly Has Another Album ‘In The Works’

Pop star Taylor Swift is hearing wedding bells, and possibly some new tunes! The “Elizabeth Taylor” singer just won big at the iHeart Radio Music Awards on March 26, which she attended with Travis Kelce ahead of their upcoming wedding. While accepting the award for Best Pop Album for “The Life of a Showgirl,” she gushed that the album feels “very happy, confident, and free, because that’s the way I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé.” With their wedding day fast approaching, fans can’t wait to hear more love songs, and they might not have long to wait!

Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Already Working On Her Next Album

After wrapping up her highly successful The Eras Tour, fans might be a bit disappointed to hear that there is probably not going to be a new tour revolving around “The Life of A Showgirl” as she puts her focus on her upcoming nuptials.

“This was meant to be a lighter, fun chapter. She never meant to do a massive tour attached to it,” a source told Us Weekly. “Taylor’s priority right now is her personal life. She and Travis are saving all their energy for the big summer they have coming up.”

That being said, another source told the publication that “She does have another record in the works,” adding, “but there’s no pressure to release it anytime soon. It’s still very much in the creative stages.” 

There’s no word on when Swift will release her next album, but her debut album will celebrate its 20^th anniversary on October 24, 2026.

Swift Is Focusing On Living A ‘Normal’ Life

Even though a simple dinner outing with friends is guaranteed to generate headlines, Swift is determined to try to live a “normal” lifestyle and spend time with her friends ahead of her wedding. She and Kelce were recently spotted at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s exclusive Oscars afterparty at the Chateau Marmont on March 15. “They’ve been having fun,” the source said, noting that things are going to be “super crazy” for the couple once football season starts up again.

“They’re really just trying to spend as much time together as possible,” another insider told the publication. They noted that the couple has been “very laid back” when it comes to wedding planning, noting, “They’ve made a conscious decision not to let it cause any tension between them.”

Swift has previously referred to the wedding planning as a “team effort,” with one source saying, “Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis cares about a lot of the details.”

Taylor Swift Won’t Have Formal Bridesmaids

Swift reportedly wants a traditional wedding “with Taylor’s dad walking her down the aisle and all the classic touches, like the father-daughter and mother-son dances,” another source shared, adding, “Taylor loves those emotional, meaningful moments, and Travis [is] on the same page.”

However, the “Delicate” singer reportedly won’t have formal bridesmaids at the event. Instead, her close friends Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez will be getting ready with her and spending the night ahead of the wedding.

“She has already asked her close girlfriends, like Selena and Gigi, to sleep over at her Rhode Island home the night before the wedding,” the insider revealed.

When Is The Wedding?

A source revealed that the wedding will take place in Rhode Island on June 13. A source told the publication that the wedding party will be split between her Rhode Island mansion and Ocean House, a local seaside resort. “They feel confident hosting it there. The entire area will be very private and guarded,” the source shared.

Many of Swift’s famous friends, including actress Emma Stone and the Haim sisters, are expected to be in attendance. Meanwhile, many of Travis Kelce’s teammates, his close friends, and his family are expected to attend the ceremony as well. According to one source, they are expecting to host 150 guests, but that number could grow.

Although fans know that 13 is Swift’s favorite number, another source revealed that the timeline is “based on Travis’ offseason rhythm,” as they plan to enjoy a honeymoon before Kelce’s training camp starts up in late July. Although they hit up the Bahamas back in March 2024, they are reportedly planning a Caribbean getaway for their honeymoon.
