‘The Pitt’ Just Set Up 9 Unexpected Season 3 Mysteries

Spoiler Alert: This list contains spoilers for The Pitt Season 2.The Pitt Season 2’s final episode had tons of highs and frantic moments, but ended in a perfectly anticlimactic way, with a little bit of quiet disclosure contrasted by loud karaoke. There are a lot of questions that Season 3 needs to answer, and a few that will hopefully be explored through the already confirmed continuation of the series.

This season centered heavily on Robby (Noah Wyle) and his mental health journey. But there were other main characters facing their own personal crises, as well as a few patients whose situations haven’t yet been resolved. There’s no shortage of material to work with in the ongoing storyline for Season 3, even as it inevitably introduces a whole new selection of patients.

Does Dr. Robby Go On His Trip?

The big question throughout the entire second season of the gripping medical drama was what would happen on Robby’s big motorcycle trip. We now know from his candid conversation with Duke (Jeff Kober) that he was flirting with the idea of never returning, not only to the job but also to life. This was a tragic realization, but in saying it out loud, Robby made a big step towards healing.

While he was nowhere near being better, his conversation with Baby Jane Doe suggests that Robby might be rethinking his decision, or at least the finality of it. Fans want to know once the show resumes with an inevitable time jump, short or long, if Robby ever did go on that trip. Most importantly, if he did, did he wear his helmet?

What Happened To Robby’s Mom?

During a quiet conversation while soothing baby Jane Doe, Robby spills his heart out. He tells her that though she has had a rough start, there’s so much for her to see and do, and people who will love her. He mentions that he understands her plight since he was abandoned when he was eight years old. He mentioned this to Dana (Katherine LaNasa) in an earlier episode as well, and her shock confirmed that she didn’t know, which suggests no one did.

This opens the door to learning more about what happened in Robby’s childhood, and most importantly, if he ever reconnected with his biological mother and if she’s even still alive. Even if she’s never shown, hearing him reveal what happened to him as a child would be therapeutic and an important part of his backstory.

Will Dr. Al-Hashimi Be Back?

Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi), one of the best new characters this season, sadly seemed to recognize that she can’t safely work the way she wants to, and probably shouldn’t even be driving her car. This is evidenced when, after a fight with Robby, she gets into her car only to drive a few feet in the parking lot, then stops and breaks down crying. It has to be devastating to not only deal with the seizures but also know that this condition holds you back from doing important work that you’re good at.

It’s evident that Robby won’t leave Al-Hashimi in charge given her condition, so he either stays or someone else takes the reins during his absence. This brings up whether she will return in Season 3 at all, either working at the hospital or visiting in some capacity.

How Will They Explain Dr. Mohan’s Absence?

It has been confirmed that Supriya Ganesh will not be returning to the show as Dr. Samira Mohan, which surprised viewers who adored the character. Her trajectory seemed to be setting her up to leave. She was distracted at work and planning to move to be closer to her mother anyway. When that plan imploded, she argues with Robby one too many times, her heart clearly no longer being in the work or that hospital.

It would be easy to suggest that she left to pursue a career in geriatrics somewhere else, an area for which she clearly had an affinity and desire. Much like when Tracey Ifeachor departed after Season 1 as Dr. Heather Collins, Samira will likely get a brief mention, so fans get closure for the character. Considering The Pitt is the type of show that could go on forever, we suspect she won’t be the last to go from one season to another.

Your Assignment Has Been Made
You Belong In…
Advertisement

Your answers have pointed to one fictional hospital above all others. This is the ward your instincts, your temperament, and your particular brand of dysfunction were built for.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center

The Pitt

You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.

  • You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
  • You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
  • You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
  • Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.

County General Hospital, Chicago

ER

You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.

  • You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
  • You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
  • You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
  • ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle

Grey’s Anatomy

You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.

  • You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
  • Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
  • You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
  • It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ

House

You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.

  • You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
  • You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
  • Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
  • The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California

Scrubs

You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.

  • You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
  • You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
  • You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
  • Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

Does Dr. Javadi Pursue Psychiatry?

In a surprising move, Victoria (Shabana Azeez) has an epiphany while talking to Dr. Dennis Whitaker (Gerran Howell). She seems to have a passion for mental health, so maybe she should pursue a career in emergency psychiatry. She runs this idea by Robby, who surprisingly says something nice, noting that she can do anything she puts her mind to.

It’s likely, however, that her surgeon parents would frown upon her going into this field, given how critical they already have been of the young prodigy. This decision will likely play into the character’s arc next season, especially if Victoria confirms this path and begins to pursue it against her parents’ wishes. This would also leave a hole to be filled with a potential new character tending to patients needing physical medical care.

Does Robby Go to Therapy?

Dr. Robby crying while Whitaker sits next to him in 'The Pitt' Season 1.
Dr. Robby crying while Whitaker sits next to him in ‘The Pitt’ Season 1.
Image via HBO Max

Robby has clearly never opened up about his past on the perfect TV drama, and he harbors a lot of trauma from that based on the revelations about his mother. While we always thought it was the death of his friend and mentor during the COVID-19 pandemic that pushed him over the edge, clearly Robby had a lot of emotional pain even before then. The tragic loss of his friend, compounded by the pressures of his job and being surrounded by death and loss, just piled on top of that.

Hearing all the kind words from his friends and co-workers like Jack (Shawn Hatosy), Dana, Frank (Patrick Ball), and Duke, even people he doesn’t know well, like Baran, must be ringing in his ears. Considering every single person who cares about Robby has been urging him to get help, it’s a wonder if he will prioritize that over his motorcycle trip. The hope is that once the timeline resumes in Season 3, Robby will have begun therapy, seeing Dr. Caleb Jefferson (Christopher Thornton) or another therapist to work through his issues.

What Happens to Duke?

Duke walking down a hallway with Robby in The Pitt.

Duke made Robby the perfect deal: he would come back for the procedure he needed if Robby would meet him there and let him ride his motorcycle. This is his roundabout way of saying he wants Robby back from this trip in one piece. It sounds like he has decided to pursue the surgery rather than do nothing and risk likely death.

It’s unclear if the character will appear again in the next season. But if not, the hope is that Duke’s fate will at least be mentioned. Given how integral he was to encouraging Robby to finally face his own dark thoughts, he deserves at least a cameo.

Will Dr. Whitaker’s Situationship Last?

Dennis and Robby standing outside of the hospital talking in The Pitt.

Image via HBO Max

Dennis seems to be enamored with the widow of a former patient, despite friends like Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones) and Robby telling him that he should distance himself from her. At the end of the episode, Dennis is talking to Robby outside when she shows up in a truck alongside her baby. Dennis hops in like he’s dad, and Robby’s expression suggests he might have a change of heart in how he feels, seeing how Dennis truly cares for this woman and her child.

That said, it’s unclear if their relationship is romantic, or if she is simply using him as a companion and a helping hand around the farm. Further, it’s unclear if Dennis has real feelings for her, or whether he has simply latched on because he was not able to save her husband and feels a sense of guilt. Season 3 should dive deeper into this relationship if it’s still going strong once the show and its stories resume.

What Happened to Baby Jane Doe?

Dana holding Baby Jane Doe and showing her face to Robby in The Pitt.

Image via HBO Max

Baby Jane Doe was introduced early in the season, a baby abandoned at the hospital. The staff searched to find the mother to no avail. Kept in the pediatrics room through the entire 15-hour shift, the baby was cared for, and all relevant tests run to ensure she was healthy or treated for whatever illness she might have. Through the day, she was tended to by nurses as needed and as staff went about their day.

As the shift switched from day to night, Jane Doe was still there awaiting her fate. She has a pivotal role with Robby in the final scene, becoming his sounding board. Dana tries to see if any of the nurses are willing to take her home for the night, but no one is. It’s unlikely baby Jane Doe returns in Season 3 as it’s likely she will have been moved to foster care by then. But we definitely need to understand what happened to her.

The 90s Sci-Fi Series Killed For Daring To Do Something Different

The 90s Sci-Fi Series Killed For Daring To Do Something Different

By Jonathan Klotz
| Published

Star Trek defined science fiction for decades, with countless studios attempting their own spin on the voyages of the starship Enterprise. In 1993, Rockne S. O’Bannon, the man who would go on to create Farscape, launched his own take on the iconic franchise that started it all, with the twist that, instead of deep space, it would take place deep underwater.

In its first season, SeaQuest DSV embraced its unique setting with episodes based on real oceanographic science and environmental issues, but the science-heavy episodes weren’t good enough for NBC executives, who wanted a younger, more action-packed series, and the result is a show that started off filled with promise but was destroyed behind the scenes by shortsighted greed.

You’re Gonna Need A Bigger Boat

Roy Scheider and Edward Keer in SeaQuest DSV Season 2

The concept of SeaQuest DSV is simple: in the future, mankind is forced to move into underwater colonies to survive in a world with rapidly dwindling resources and the effects of climate change. The SeaQuest is an experimental submarine under the oversight of the UEO (United Earth Oceans organization), tasked with scientific research and defending the colonies from raiders and rival nations. For a sci-fi series, it’s remarkably grounded, and while the first season includes an episode about a ghost ship and another involving an alien ship, the two are outliers from the rest, which deal with politics, the ethics of environmentalism, and surviving miles under the surface.

SeaQuest DSV even includes a fun bit of perfect stunt casting, with Roy Scheider, famous for playing Brody in Jaws, stars as Captain Nathan Bridger, a former military officer coming out of self-imposed exile following the death of his wife to take the helm. Bridger resigns rather than go after an anti-whaling activist, and when a catastrophic industrial accident threatens all life on Earth, he doesn’t hesitate when he realizes what has to be done. The problem is that Scheider came back for Season 2, and the shift from edutainment to action-oriented sci-fi was a waste of his acting talent, and Bridger seemed out of place fighting giant crocodiles and cloaked scientific experiments.

The rest of the crew fared even worse, with teen prodigy Lucas (Jonathan Brandis, a mainstay of Tiger Beat in the early 90s), Commander Ford (Don Franklin), and Lieutenant O’Neill (Ted Raimi) the only three to last all three seasons, well, them, and Darwin the Dolphin. In an effort to make the series appeal to a wider audience, NBC executives wanted to get more “eye candy” on the show, which meant out went Stephanie Beacham as Dr. Kristin Westphalen and Royce Applegate as Chief Crocker, in came the significantly younger Kathy Evison as JG Lonnie Henderson and Edward Keer as Lieutenant James Brody.

Cast changeover happens with every show, but by the time NBC was done, only four characters were carried over from Season 1 to Season 2, and SeaQuest DSV was completely unrecognizable.

From Science And Exploration To Giant Crocodiles

Edutainment episodes based on real science and exploration were replaced by a giant crocodile escaping from its icy prison, an alien hunter finding its way on board the sub, and even the SeaQuest itself looks different. On camera, Captain Bridger sacrificed the original to save the planet.

Off camera, SeaQuest DSV was moved from filming in Vancouver to Florida at Universal Studios, complete with a brand new set. Scheider eventually bailed, leading to Michael Ironside replacing him for Season 3, when the show was rebranded as SeaQuest 2032 as the hard-nosed Captain Oliver Hudson, but the producers may as well have been rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

SeaQuest DSV was never a ratings juggernaut, but the slower, more thoughtful, and character-driven episodes of Season 1 provided a fantastic building block for the future. O’Bannon’s biggest hit, Farscape, took time to evolve into the wild sci-fi romp it would eventually become, but his first series was denied the opportunity to grow and develop organically. The result is that Seasons 2 and 3 were flaming ratings death for NBC as every act of studio interference backfired, with audiences turning away in droves from the corny plots, which went so far in Season 3 that Poseidon was involved.

Roy Scheider, Jonathan Brandis, and Darwin in SeaQuest DSV

If SeaQuest DSV had remained focused on environmental plots and deep-sea exploration, it might have become one of the 90s’ best sci-fi shows instead of a forgotten series. Thanks to the raw talent of Jonathan Brandis, Lucas was even a better teen character than Wesley Crusher on The Next Generation, and again, Roy Scheider was directly involved in a network genre series as a lead, for the first and last time.

The ocean is vast and largely unexplored, filled with countless wonders, and it’s an amazing setting for a sci-fi series, but no matter how great the concept, any show will fall apart if greedy studio executives are chasing the latest trend, and there’s no telling where O’Bannon would have taken the show if he hadn’t been sabotaged.

Hulu’s 10-Episode Sleeper Hit Is the Perfect Binge Before Season 2 Next Month

Published

on

Asif Ali in 'Deli Boys.'

While comedy might be one of the toughest genres to get right on TV, the Hulu series Deli Boys, which first released on March 6, 2025, had the right amount of humor, action, and family drama to make it a sleeper hit. The series, which has been coined as one of the best new shows of 2025, won over fans with Season 1, and is getting ready to return with a bang next month.

On May 28, 2026, the second season of Deli Boys will be hitting the platform. And while Season 1’s 96% on Rotten Tomatoes might be a high bar to live up to, the series has some ambitious plans for the second installment that already has viewers at the edge of their seats.

What Is ‘Deli Boys’ About?

Deli Boys follows brothers Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj (Saagar Shaikh), who have taken the “nepo baby” lifestyle a bit too far and have been sailing through life under the veil of their wildly successful father, Baba (Iqbal Theba). Season 1, however, kicks off when Baba unexpectedly dies in a golfing accident, turning their sons’ world upside down. And, as it turns out, Baba didn’t exactly earn his fortune as a deli kingpin, and was a full-fledged drug lord in Philadelphia instead. Having no basic business knowledge, zero street smarts, and the softest survival instincts, Mir and Raj are suddenly thrust into the deep end of an empire they never asked for. As Raj retreats into delusion and younger brother Mir leans on his inherently anxious nature, their only hope is the no-nonsense, sharp-tongued, and occasionally terrifying, Lucky Auntie (Poorna Jagannathan), who has a soft spot for the kids, as well as ruthless instincts the boys could (and should) learn from.

Throughout the first season, Mir and Raj fumble their way through their unwanted inheritance, leading to some major mishaps and mistakes along the way. Among them is them tracking down a half-dead naked man in the streets, botching an attempt to unload cocaine, and trying to temper the sentiments of the FBI, Peruvian gangs, and “Paki Blinders.” From the jump, it’s clear that the two are not made for this and their frazzled interactions and naive assumptions prove it, but through their love for their father, and their attempt to honor his legacy, the Dar brothers try their very best to keep the family business afloat.

It’s the final moment. Everything is on the line. What do you need from your partner right now?
The last question is the most honest one.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…
Advertisement

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

After all, not only does the series have some promising plot points for Season 2, but the series is a treat to comedy lovers. Apple TV Officially Teams With ‘Will Trent’ Co-Creator for New Series

Published

on

will-trent-poster.jpg

One of the creators of Will Trent is headed to Apple TV for a new half-hour comedy about complicated lives and fresh starts. Liz Heldens, co-creator of the popular Ramón Rodríguez mystery series, will executive produce and showrun the series with Matt Ward (Madam Secretary). It’s the latest comedy from the streamer that brought you The Studio, and it’s set to begin production later this year.

Elizabeth Banks will star in the new, currently untitled series. She’ll play a newly-divorced mother hoping to enter her life’s second act. But if she thought her divorce was messy, she doesn’t realize the quagmire she’s about to get stuck in. Her elderly father has retired to a seniors’ community, but maintains an extremely active social life; so much so that she has to coordinate his “sex dates.” That puts her into a strange alliance with the perpetually single son of her dad’s girlfriend. While Apple TV may be best known for cerebral sci-fi dramas like Pluribus and Severance, the streamer has been expanding its comedy slate in recent years; anchored by colossal sports hit Ted Lasso, Apple TV’s recent comedy hits include Platonic, Shrinking, and last year’s awards sensation The Studio.

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

What Can Elizabeth Banks Be Seen in Recently?

Last year, Banks took on a rare dramatic role in the medical drama A Mistake and starred in the black comedy Skincare, which she also executive-produced. She also starred with Jessica Biel in the Prime Video thriller miniseries The Better Sister. On the (extremely) small screen, she can currently be seen in the Peacock sci-fi rom-com series The Miniature Wife, as a woman whose troubled marriage gets even more complicated when her scientist husband’s invention reduces her to the size of an action figure. Later this year, she’ll play herself in the David Wain comedy Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, and will star alongside John C. Reilly in the science fiction thriller DreamQuil. She can also be seen as the host of the ABC game show Press Your Luck.

In addition to starring, Banks will also executive produce the series with Max Handelman and Krissy Wall via Brownstone Productions. Jonathan Krisel (English Teacher) will direct the pilot and executive-produce, as well. Quinn Haberman will executive produce alongside Heldens for Selfish Mermaid, and Jason Winer and Jon Radler will executive produce for Small Dog Picture Company. It is a production of 20th Television.

A new Apple TV comedy series starring Elizabeth Banks is in development; no release date has yet been announced. Meanwhile, Liz Heldens’ smash-hit ABC series Will Trent is streaming on Hulu. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.

On Wednesday (April 22), the rapper shared a new clip of herself riding in the backseat of a car, rocking a red dress with white polka dots while vibing out to ‘If You Want It.’ What really had people talking again, though, was her fresh-faced look paired with red lemonade braids—the same style that had critics sounding off in an earlier clip. Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

An 18-year-old student at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away on Monday, and her final moments on campus unfolded into an emergency that would leave the entire school shaken and searching for answers.

Student Dies After Shooting In School Cafeteria

Officials say the student died after a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the school’s cafeteria on Monday afternoon. Parma police confirmed the incident involved a single gunshot. They also claimed that there was no ongoing threat to other students or staff. First responders arrived around 2:10 p.m., and the student was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died.

Students were quickly evacuated to a designated reunification site as safety protocols were put in place. And, the district announced that Valley Forge High School would remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Witnesses described confusion and panic as the situation unfolded near dismissal time. One student recalled being hurried out of the building as staff directed students to safety, calling the scene “terrible to see” and “really, really sad.

Officials Confirm No Threat After School Shooting

Police said the 18-year-old Valley Forge High School student used a firearm belonging to a family member. Additionally, they claim that she had no intention of harming anyone else. At a Wednesday press briefing outside nearby Normandy High School, Parma Heights officials reiterated there was no ongoing threat to students or staff. Meanwhile, Superintendent Scott Hunt said the incident “caused a great deal of fear” throughout the district. Authorities also said the weapon was secured quickly by responding officers, with a school resource officer reaching the cafeteria in “seconds.” It was also revealed that another officer arrived on scene within about a minute and a half.

Investigation Continues Into How Gun Entered School

Investigators are still working to determine how the gun was brought into the school and whether any warning signs were known beforehand. Officials confirmed those questions remain part of the active investigation. Furthermore, police are assessing potential charges related to how the firearm was accessed.

The shooting, which occurred on April 20—the 27th anniversary of the Columbine tragedy—prompted questions about possible symbolic significance. However, police only acknowledged that it was being examined as part of their review. District leaders said safety protocols were followed, and counseling services have been made available to students as schools weigh potential changes to security measures.

Snoop Dogg Reacts Backlash Young Girl Fan Colorado Stage Pole Dance Set Viral Video

Snoop Dogg is clearing the air after social media users went off about a surprise guest at a recent performance. Earlier this week, the rapper headlined a concert in Colorado and invited a young fan to join him on stage. As the girl showed off her dance moves, a pole dancer was in the background dancing, too. The backlash was swift after videos of the moment went viral on social platforms. In response, Snoop seemed to point his finger at the girl’s parents!

Snoop Dogg Hypes Young Fan During Colorado Performance

Snoop took his love for 420, an unofficial holiday for pot smokers, on the road! He and Ice Cube teamed up to headline a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, per 9NEWS. During his set, a young female fan joined him on the stage. It’s unclear how that happened, but the video shows the girl jumping around as Snoop Dogg raps and observes. Near the child, a pole dancer dressed in a thong-based costume was also performing. The dancer is seen twerking, swinging around the pole and climbing it. However, it does not look like she directly interacted with the child or that the child got near the small pole stage. Additionally, the child does not appear to be looking at the dancer’s performance.

Rapper Addresses Backlash Over Pole Dance Set

As social users weighed in, Hollywood Unlocked covered said reactions on Instagram. Their headline read, “Snoop Dogg Under Fire After Bringing Child On Stage With Exotic Dancers.” In the comment section of that post, he clapped back at the backlash, placing blame on the child’s parents for her presence at the show.

“Under fire [thumbs down emoji], her father let her get on stage [thumbs up emoji] she was dancing all night…I let have a fan have fun her parents were there sorry try again…carry on,” he wrote, adding other emojis.

Snoop Was Excited To Perform In Colorado

Ahead of the show, Snoop Dogg spoke 9NEWS about how the state has always “been good” to him, respecting his music since day. His plan for the 4/20 show was to give the audience all of his hits and celebrate the marijuana-themed day. Additionally, he praised the people of Colorado and their welcoming energy.

“This was the first state to make it official, like a referee with a whistle,” said Snoop Dogg reportedly said. “They’ve always been up close and personal, they’ve always been my real fans. Like I’ve never had issues in Colorado no matter where I’ve been. It’s always been a great performance. It’s always been great engagement.”

Also, Snoop called the state an “extension of California,” and said it’s a “West Coast thing.” And he also shared how honored he felt to co-headline with one of his idols, Ice Cube.

“Cube was one of my idols, somebody that I grew up watching, listening to, and building a relationship with once I got in the industry,” Snoop told 9NEWS. “Anytime I can open up or perform with him or be a part of anything musically connected to him, it’s always a blessing. I look at all these opportunities as more foundation to the foundation that comes after us.”

Brooke Hogan Reveals Reason For Skipping Hulk Hogan Documentary

Published

Brooke Hogan

Brooke Hogan is setting the record straight regarding her absence from the recently released Netflix documentary about her father, late wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.

While Hulk Hogan’s son and ex-wife are prominently featured in the documentary, Brooke Hogan is not present, following her recent statements about her estrangement from her father prior to his death.

“No matter how much people have either dogged my dad or loved my dad, if he calls and says, ‘Hey, there’s an opportunity for you to be on TV,’ everybody’s tune changes real quick,” she told the outlet. “All of a sudden they’re on Team Hogan. I didn’t want to be in the company of people that I’ve seen switch up.”

Per TMZ, during an appearance on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, to promote her current stint on the latest season of the HGTV hit competition series, “Rock the Block,” Brooke shared insight into her previous decision to remove herself from Hulk’s will back in 2023, two years before his July 2025 death.

“I regret that decision,” she revealed. “Not because of the money, I’ve never been about the money, but because now I don’t have a seat at the table.”

Brooke also shared that her decision was based on fearing for her safety due to the people her father had in his inner circle, which she previously stated was a reason for their estrangement.

“There were situations that had me so scared,” the mother of two said. “I really took myself off the will because I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety. There’s not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing.”

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly on April 13, Brooke opened up about how Hulk’s inner circle led her to decide to distance herself from her father two years before his death.

“He said, ‘You go this way, I go that way,’” she told the outlet. “That hurt. I could see what was happening with him with the people around him. I could also see his potential and see how life could be. And he just wasn’t there. I was pregnant with my twins. I was newly married. I just had to take a break.”

Brooke continued, adding: “I don’t know if we would have ever reconnected, even if he were alive, because of the mindset he was in. He would have had to have a change of mindset and a change of company. I don’t know if he was there. I don’t know if he was willing to do that.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, Brooke explained her decision not to attend her father’s funeral, noting that Hulk “hated the morbidity of funerals,” and she was sure he did not want one.

“My Dearest Daddy, You were my everything, and I will always be your girl,” her message read. “I am PROUD to be your daughter—for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world. Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply.”

“Our bond is eternal. That truth brings me comfort and hope, even in your absence. I love you more than all the stars in the sky, 4LifeAfterLife. Forever yours, Brooke,” she added.

She also shared that she appreciated the events and celebrations organized to honor him, but she chose to do so privately.
