Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift’s Chiefs Game Celebration
Travis Kelce has seen the memes after wife Taylor Swift‘s touchdown celebration at his latest NFL game went viral.
Swift, 36, was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 20, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Indianapolis Colts. When Kelce, 36, scored a touchdown in the first quarter, the pop star was caught pointing to her wedding ring and saying, “That’s my husband!”
While recapping the Chiefs’ overtime victory on the Wednesday, September 23, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce told his brother social media was “running wild” with jokes about the celebration. The pair proceeded to read a few of their favorite posts inspired by Swift.
“‘Me when my husband actually finds all the right stuff at the grocery store without calling me,’” Travis said with a laugh, adding, “The internet’s having a good old time with this s***.”

Many of the memes drew a chuckle out of the tight end — one fan teased, “My neurosurgeon breadwinner wife watching me shotgun my 11th beer of the night” — but Swift’s reaction itself was no laughing matter for Travis.
“Listen, man. Proud wife, baby,” he said. “Gotta make my girl proud.”
Swift has been a fixture at Travis’ games since the pair were first linked in 2023. She flew from Japan to Las Vegas to watch the Chiefs win the 2024 Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, and she spent Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium for Travis’ final game of the 2025-2026 season last winter.

The Chiefs are now 2-0 to start the 2026-2027 season, with Swift cheering on her husband at both games.
Travis proposed to the Grammy winner in August 2025 after two years of dating. The couple exchanged vows this summer in a star-studded ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“At this point, we’re what, over a month out? It’s been so much fun,” Travis said on the September 2 episode of his podcast. “First of all, the night was a night we’ll never forget. Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, you know, from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening, and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night.”
Travis called the celebration “magical,” adding, “I wish it could’ve lasted even longer than it did, it felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”
