Tyler Cameron Shares Fiancee’s Reaction to Sexy DWTS Routine
Tyler Cameron‘s Off Campus-inspired routine on Dancing With the Stars couldn’t have been possible without his fiancée, Tate Madden.
“Tate was the one who’s like, ‘More hips, hotter face.’ Like, she’s the one coaching it up,” Cameron, 33, quipped while speaking to Us exclusively after his Viral Hits Night performance on Tuesday, September 22. “[She would say], ‘You’re not touching yourself enough.’ I was like, ‘You got to feel your body.’”
Sharna Burgess recalled more of Madden’s feedback, saying, “She was like, ‘You got to get more into it.’ I love her so much. She has the best notes.”
For their salsa on Tuesday night, Cameron and Burgess, 41, chose the song “Girls” by The Kid Laroi, which was famously used in a steamy Off Campus scene featuring Belmont Cameli.

“I am [a fan of the show],” Burgess told Us about pulling inspiration from Cameli’s viral dance moves. “I’ve only watched it once, but I’m a big fan.”
According to Cameron, however, Madden, 32, has seen the Prime Video series “about three times” since its release earlier this year.
“I’m gonna need Belmont to give me some critiques,” he joked. “I want to hear how Belmont thinks we did.”
While Cameron and Burgess were proud of how the performance went, the judges ultimately gave them 16 out of 30 points.
“Look, I’ve been on both sides of that table. I judge in Australia. I get it. They’re looking for specific things,” Burgess told Us. “They’re being tough this season, as they should. I decided to take a risk this week so we could light the internet on fire and remind people who this guy is. I think we did our job.”

Burgess is planning a different strategy for Yacht Rock Week, saying, “My job is to deliver for the judges. I want to show them content. I want to show them technique and what he’s capable of in that sense. So I’m glad we had that chance.”
Cameron, who announced his engagement to Madden in August after two years of dating, was thrilled with Burgess’ approach to their sexy performance.
“The girls gave Sharna an assignment and Sharna delivered,” he said, as Burgess joked, “The girls and the gays online were like, ‘Sharna, you have one job.’ And I was like, ‘I got you.’ I’m a girl’s girl. I’m always gonna come through.”
