Young and Restless Early Spoilers Sept 7-11: Phyllis Takes a Plunge as Cane Hustles
Hey, The Young and the Restless fans. We have got your early weekly spoilers for the week of September 7th with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) falling hard and getting in way over her head as she takes a major risk. Plus, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) scrambles to make the most of an opportunity because he’s trying to make things right for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Also, in the week of September 7th through the 11th, we have Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) up at rehab and shocked. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is busted this week and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) really worries about her bestie. Let’s jump right in.
And you may know on early edition day that we always start with what’s coming the rest of this week and then we dig into next week.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Doesn’t See it?
Wednesday, September 2nd on Young and the Restless, we’ve got Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren discussing Phyllis. And Lauren tells them about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis and how into the villain that their friend is. And Lauren says Phyllis seems totally devoted to him. And they suspect Matt is using her. And Lauren says she hasn’t seen Phyllis so smitten before. Not since she fell for Nick back in the day. So, Lauren thinks this is all tied back to what Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) did to Phyllis and Sharon and that residual trauma. They wonder if Phyllis is trying to control Matt because of Martin controlling them.
Michael says maybe Phyllis is going to work a miracle on Matt, but Lauren thinks Phyllis and Matt are going to destroy each other. Phyllis goes to meet Matt at the Ratty Motel and he says he just needed to get away. He’s really glad to see Phyllis. And then she finds the note that Matt wrote her that he had crumpled up. And she reads it. He tells Phyllis he’s having this moment. He’s going dark.
Y&R Spoilers: Patty Gets in Matt’s Head
But she says even Sharon thinks that Matt is changing. And he tells Phyllis he went to see Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) who told him he will always be evil. But Phyllis says Matt’s not like Patty, that he is kind. And Phyllis wants Matt to turn to her instead of anybody else and says please don’t leave without saying goodbye. And Phyllis admits she’s falling for him. She wants Matt to share his pain with her. And after they make love, Phyllis says she will make Matt the most respected man in Genoa City. Sounds crazy, right?
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane & Lily Connect
Lily and Cane are flirting at her place and he wants to pamper her. Lily takes Cane up on his offer of a massage, but then Mattie calls and interrupts. So, they talk to their daughter and Cane talks about them coming out publicly as an official couple, but Lily wants to take things slow before they go public as a couple.
Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to rest at home, but she reminds Billy that it was just ligament pain, and Sally says she and the baby are fine. And she tells Billy that what’s happening also is that the Chancellor stress is just too much on her. Billy agrees and says he’ll drop Chancellor until after their baby is born because the law’s on his side. He doesn’t have to rush.
Audra Checks on Sally
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) shows up and Billy takes off and she catches Audra up on the baby stuff because of course she was worried about her bestie Sally. Audra is feeling very down about her desolate love life and Sally encourages her and she tells Audra that Billy is backing off Chancellor for now and Audra is pretty impressed that he’s doing that. Billy shows up to Lily’s place and barges in, interrupting their romance. He and Cane have a glare off and Billy says Sally had a pregnancy issue and it shook him.
So, Billy says he’s giving up on the Chancellor fight for Sally. So, Billy drops that bombshell, then he walks out. Lily and Cane are glad that Sally and the baby are okay, but Cane thinks that once the baby comes, Billy will come for Chancellor again. So Cane wants to spend this time figuring out the puzzle about this loan. Billy goes back and tells Sally that he told Cane and Lily he’s giving up Chancellor completely, but he didn’t tell them that this is only a temporary ceasefire. Billy says Sally’s the priority and he’ll circle back around later.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Nick in a Tough Spot
Thursday, September 3rd on The Young and the Restless, we’re going to see Nick’s present conflicting with his past. I’m guessing this is Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) maybe meeting Sharon because she’s up at rehab this week and she may feel a little jealous of Marie’s connection with Nick. I do suspect Sharon’s going up to rehab to check on Nick because Phyllis showed up to rehab and was talking to Nick about Matt, who Sharon knows is a trigger for him.
Also this week, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) chat at the Chancellor Park Cafe and Mariah’s clearing the air with Daniel. I think that Mariah may actually thank Daniel for taking care of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) while she was away. I don’t think Mariah harbors any ill will towards Daniel, but we’ll see.
Phyllis agrees to keep a secret for Matt. So, it may be that he went to visit Patty, or it could be about his dark spells, but at this point, Phyllis seems willing to do anything for Matt, who is struggling.
Y&R Spoilers: Nate’s Loved Ones Support Him
Friday, September 4th, on The Young and the Restless, everybody rallies around Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He goes under the knife for reconstructive surgery on his hand. And Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) said she would drive Nate to the hospital. But we may also see Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily showing up to support him. Alot of this may honestly happen offscreen. We’ll see.
Hopefully the surgery goes well and Nate’s hand is fixed so he can be a surgeon again. No matter what happens, I foresee Stephanie and Nate getting closer and heating up. I’m sure they’ll celebrate. If his surgery goes well, hopefully Devon will stop with his not so subtle age gap comments he’s been making.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s romantic Tahitian getaway takes a surprising turn. I wouldn’t put it past Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to be the one sabotaging their travel plans. Also, Nick is caught in a compromising position. So, after Sharon’s visit, where she runs into Marie, we may see Nick sparking with Marie, maybe kissing, and the rehab staff walks in on them and says, “Hey, don’t do that.”
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle & Victoria Heat Up
The week of September 7th through 11th on The Young and the Restless. We’ve got Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s fake rivalry kicking up and Kyle and Victoria soon realized they cannot keep their hands off each other. This goes from a one-time only thing to a full-blown affair very soon. Michael Mealor teased in an interview that Kyle and Victoria go from lust to possibly catching feelings.
Nick gets closer to Marie in rehab. And I wonder if Sharon’s going to take her concerns about Marie to Victor, who has similar concerns. But Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) thinks they need to let Nick just do what he needs to do in rehab. Nikki’s going to keep annoying Victor by pressing about Jack being Nick’s sponsor. And hopefully Jack and Diane make it back from Tahiti unscathed, even though their trip has had several problems and less than ideal conditions.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Phyllis In Deeper with Matt
Phyllis and Matt get closer, and Phyllis keeps falling for him. I wouldn’t be surprised if she says I love you soon. And honestly, Matt seems to be falling for Phyllis, too. But that may just be codependency. He is haunted by Patty saying that he’s dark and won’t change. And in fact, she thinks Matt should embrace the darkness. He doesn’t want to do that, but worries it’s going to happen anyway.
We’ll see if Nate’s surgery was successful or not. And we’re going to see Cane getting real busy digging into the Chancellor loan mystery because it is a question of why wasn’t it paid back because the money was there. So now they have this little bit of time since Billy has stepped back and I think Cane is going to take full advantage of this little break in the battle.
And Cane’s going to have to talk to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) about this very soon to find out exactly what she knew about John’s loan, what Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) knew, and whether Billy really does have a case or if there’s more to this story. Jill is the key to all of this. But the question is, will she spill the beans? She may not want to antagonize Billy the same way that Jack, Ashley Abbott (Eilleen Davidson), and Tracy are backing off and just letting Billy do what he wants.
