Megan Thee Stallion and Coco Jones Bring Glamour to Milan Fashion Week in Brown Amiri & Etro Looks
Now we told ya’ll the color of the Fall/Winter season was brown, but we know ya’ll didn’t think it was going to bump like this.

Megan Thee Stallion and Coco Jones have both been spied in Milan during Fashion Week with both ladies opting for the rich brown hue on different occasions.
The ‘Cognac Queen” rapper looked like Klay Thompson’s “cognac dream” in a brown crochet halter gown that hugged her body and consisted of floral embroidery for dramatic definition.

Posing with confidence at the opening of Amiri’s Flagship location in Milan, Megan embraced the “Naked dress” trend with confidence. She accessorized with brown high heel sandals, and her stiletto nails were a true match to her ravishing dress. Her black sleek buss down hair was a perfect page out of Law Roach’s fashionable hairdos. We see someone’s been taking notes.

In addition to Megan Thee Stallion, CoCo Jones radiated at the Etro fashion show like a true goddess. The “Why Not More“ singer sat front row in a sultry brown lace maxi dress that had a v-neckline and was enchanting with an ethereal silhouette.

Coco’s look was paired with a brown western-like floppy hat that featured a gold buckle atop. Her gold chain sculptural clutch bag, and pointy-toe sandals enhanced the color of her dress, and added a luxurious finish.

It’s been great seeing celebrities put their own twist of the ‘IT’ color brown this season. With Spring less than a month away, and colors like emerald, red, and citrus yellow expected to dominate the scene, we can’t wait to see how celebs put their use of color to the test.

Margot Robbie Turns Up the Drama in Sheer Black Chanel Couture at a Press Event
Continuing her press tour for her latest movie “Wuthering Heights” that released earlier this month, Margot Robbie stunned in a black sheer Chanel dress that perhaps is the perfect segue into Spring.

With her cinched waist and model physique, if anyone can pull off the “naked dress” trend, and embrace gothic glamour, Margot is showing us it’s HER.
Apart of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, her dress is a distinct reflection of how Creative Director Matthiew Blaze is adding a new freshness and modernity to the legendary fashion house. Despite redefining some of the house’s traditional codes, we’re sure Karl Lagerfeld would be proud to see the brand moving in the right direction.
Beneath Margot’s sheer organza gown with beautiful detailing at the neckline, she wore lace shorts with the matching lace bra, that added an extra layer of sensuality to her ensemble.
She paired her look with Chanel Couture pumps that were classical, and the hem of her dress was finished with beaded embellishments, nodding to the brand’s signature adornments.

We thought Margot Robbie pulled this look off exceptionally well, and effortlessly owned it. We’re also looking forward to seeing how Chanel is going to rock this upcoming Spring season with so many new and exciting changes.

Subtle Statement – Julia Berolzheimer
Bahia Maria Dress, Prada Bag (old, similar here and here), Gucci Sandals (similar here and here)
When you’re dressing in that space between minimalist and maximalist, the focus shifts to nuance, with pieces that feel special because of how they’re constructed and finished.
Fringe
Trim at a hemline. A subtle edge along a sleeve. Movement integrated into the design. Often rendered in ivory or tonal shades so the texture carries the detail.
Lace
Inserted at the base of a skirt. Layered beneath tailoring so it reveals itself in contrast. Framing a neckline on silk. Applied as placement, not overlay.
Structure & Silhouette
Sculpted bodices. Architectural necklines. Wrap forms with defined drape. Precise tailoring and clean seaming that hold shape.
Texture
Tone-on-tone jacquard. Embroidery embedded into dark fabric. Airy mohair knit. Studded leather on a classic heel. Crochet worked into a structured bag.
Softness
Fluid skirts paired with defined tops. Silk set against sharper lines. Sheer layers under weightier cloth. Drape balanced with form.
These are pieces defined by proportion and finish. The interest comes from construction and fabric.

Thursday’s Workwear Report: Savvy Fine Knit Sweater Top
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
Short-sleeve sweaters are a wardrobe workhorse in my closet all year long. In the winter, they provide an extra layer of warmth I can wear under blazers and cardigans, and in the summer, they protect me from the chill of central air conditioning, but are still cool enough to wear outside.
This sweater from Universal Standard has my absolute favorite elbow sleeve length — long enough to provide some coverage, but not so long that they bunch up under blazers. It comes in 11 (!) different colorways, so there’s something for everyone!
The sweater is $84 at Universal Standard and comes in sizes equivalent to 00-40.

Suit of the Week: Reiss

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Also: we just updated our big roundup for the best women’s suits of 2025!
This is a lovely, springy blue suit from Reiss — and I love the small details, like the peak lapels, four-button front, and single-button cuffs. The buttons themselves are cool — they seem paler than a lot of tortoiseshell options, and the ones at the cuff look reminiscent of a jewel edged with a gold rope bevel.
The suit comes in regular and petite sizes, and has a matching vest as well as shorts. I really like it as styled with the monotoned blouse (but, uh, not gaping at the waist?). (Ah, here’s the blouse — it’s cropped, so maybe not the best if your office is very conservative.) The suiting pieces are $235-$490 at Reiss.

What’s Your Preferred Background Noise?
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

What is your preferred background noise? Are you more efficient for some types of tasks with a specific background noise on? White noise, brown noise, classical music, “brain” music… what are your thoughts?
My $.02 on Background Noise
I’m one of those annoying people who finds it hard to focus with any background noise at all… I’ve sometimes tried to put some on in order to drown out other ambient noise (like a fantastically loud coworker next door), but it has to be something I really want to focus on. I absolutely cannot focus if there’s anything with words in the background, such as lyrics (or podcasts, or Netflix comfort shows).
Over the years I’ve had various playlists, first for ambient music without lyrics (like classical, but it has to be relaxed classical — I can’t focus if something like In the Hall of the Mountain King is in the background). For my kids we’ve investigated white noise — one still prefers to sleep to a noise machine playing a gentle rainstorm — and I can sleep in the same room as him, like if we’re on vacation, but it isn’t my preference. I’ve also tried to experiment with different types of noise (brown noise! pink noise!) but regardless of how they make me feel, nothing has improved my focus better than silence.
Over to you, readers — what is your preference for background noise? Have you tried different kinds over the years?

Meet Your Match: Matching Prints to Statement Bags
Hermes Shirt, Eres Bikini, Xirena Pants (similar here), Hermes Tote, Dior Sunglasses, Amazon Claw
There’s something undeniably fun about spotting a print you love and building the entire look around it especially when the bag gets to join in. This is about matching your outfit to your bag in a way that feels bold, coordinated, and fully styled. Pucci-inspired swirls paired with turquoise silk. Brocade minis meeting embroidered shoulder bags. Zebra prints styled with saturated colors. Missoni chevrons echoed in woven, multicolor pouches. Stripe skirts that pick up the exact tone of a hand-stitched bag.
When the palette aligns and the pattern energy matches, the result feels cohesive, elevated, and ready for summer events, vacation dinners, and statement moments.
Match the Color Story
When you find a print you love, look closely at the palette. Pull one dominant shade and echo it in your bag so the tones feel aligned from head to toe.
How to Style It
Lean into clean silhouettes and defined shapes — structured shoulder bags, tailored minis, sharp halter necklines, wrap skirts with movement.
Where to Wear It
The kind of moments where bold print and a matching bag feel like part of the fun, where getting dressed is half the reason you’re going.
