Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026-27. Thigh High Boots, Baby Doll Ruffles, Luxe Tailoring; Your Need-to-Know Trends.
Initiated by Charles Frederick Worth, (considered the father of haute couture), the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) traces its origins to 1868, when the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture was founded in Paris to protect the interests of couture artisans and combat the threat of mass production. Paris Fashion Week, as well as Haute Couture Week is brought to us by this historic institution.

Coffee Break: Recharge Gel Cream

I’m out of my usual moisturizer, so I’ve been using this one gifted from InnBeauty and I’m really liking it.
I typically use Clinique’s Dramatically Different moisturizer when the weather starts to warm up, but I just ran out, and I’m stubbornly trying to wait until the NAS to buy a new one. This lightweight but hydrating cream from InnBeauty has been a wonderful replacement. It absorbs quickly, feels like nothing on my skin, has no noticeable scent… and yet my skin has remained hydrated, not dry and itchy like it can get with moisturizers that are TOO lightweight for me. Love!
Other big benefits of the moisturizer, according to the product page: it visibly plumps, smooths and improves radiance and it’s clinically proven to prevent water loss + boost skin barrier. It is dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic — over at Sephora it’s got their green “clean” badge.
The moisturizer is $48, available at InnBeauty and Sephora. (I’m also a fan of their heavier Extreme cream!)

Designer Spotlight: Valentino – Julia Berolzheimer
Valentino is one of those designers I consistently return to because the pieces bring so much personality into my wardrobe. The craftsmanship stands out immediately with embroidered textiles, jacquards, lace, and intricate embellishment that add depth and dimension. Each style feels distinctive, yet timeless enough to wear for years, which is why Valentino is worth the investment.
Looking through the Cruise and Spring 2026 collections, I kept taking screenshots and saving them to my photo folder. So many pieces stood out. Embroidered jackets, paisley prints, feather accents, and decorative accessories appeared throughout, adding a layered, expressive feel. A few highlights include the paisley set, the striped raffia bucket bag, and the feather-trimmed paisley blouse. The printed set makes a statement worn together, but each piece also styles well on its own.
The small jacquard shoulder bag has been my most worn accessory lately. The tapestry-style pattern adds just enough interest, worn with everything from silk trousers to denim and knit. It’s quickly become one of the bags I reach for all the time.

Splurge Monday’s Workwear Report: Amor Ribbed Silk and Cashmere Midi Dress

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
Every working woman needs at least one outfit in her closet that she can throw on after a long night and know it will look great without too much thinking. For me, it’s usually a dress, and lately, I’ve been loving sweater dresses with a little bit of structure, like this one from Gabriela Hearst. I like the seam at the waist, and it looks like the mid-weight knit would be really comfortable.
Add a blazer if you want, and you’re ready for just about anything.
The dress is $1,890 at NET-A-PORTER and comes in sizes XS-XL.
