    My mother was diagnosed with CA this March . Now she recovered fully .
    She never had any lump or anything that feels like . Even docs were shocked.
    Soo please do go for a regular checkup and tests every 6 months

    IF some one has lump and their weight getting or got down swiftly than it's a sign of cancerous rather than it's normal lump known as Fibroadenoma which is caused due to not balanced diet I mean if you don't eat many things like i don't eat non veg though my whole family have it but it's not easy to prepare seperate meal for me everyday but yeah I manage it….and in veg also I'm way picky…. if you want you just to any diagnose centre and ask for UGC of breasts and one more FNAC these two reports confirm whether you have fibroadenoma or cancerous cyst

    By the time cancerous lumps become palpable, more than 90% of them would have already metastasized, so breast examination by palpation wont do any better for treatment and outcome i am afraid😢.(reference:- robbins textbook of pathology edition 10 volume 2 chapter 23 pg 1039).
    Instead, mammograms and advanced imaging like 3D tomosynthesis, or genetic testing for those having higher risk (BRCA 1, BRCA 2 +ve) followed by mastectomy could be better ways for screening of breast cancer.

    ‼️ According to United States Preventive services Task Force (USPSTF) Screening with “MAMMOGRAM” is recommended for every woman starting at age 40‼️
    Regular Breast self examination is not recommended as a standard for practice by clinicians in USA and women should be counseled about breast self awareness, i,e if notice anything unusual or symptoms like nipple discharge, change contour then definitely reach out to medical provider.
    – Have regular visits with health care provider who will examine breast.
