More than 10,000 people attended the race at Knavesmire today (August 2) with everyone taking a total of 15 minutes to cross the line after the race started just after 9.30am.

Participants took on a scenic tour of the city, passing notable landmarks such as Clifford’s Tower, York Minster, and the medieval walls – all while raising money for a good cause and hoping to get a personal best on the flat track.
