25 free and discounted north west days out for March 2026

It said it would show its appreciation for the £32 million raised for good causes every week by National Lottery players and it wants to encourage people to unlock the hidden gems of the UK.

From the National Trust to English Heritage, there are plenty of offers to take advantage of and it’s easy to be a part of National Lottery Open Week.

Looking for a cheap day out? Here is a list of local offers in the north west for an adventure that doesn’t need to break the bank.

National Lottery Open Week will take place from Saturday, March 7 until Sunday, March 15 so there’s plenty of time to plan your next trip.

To redeem the offers, you’ll need a National Lottery ticket, Scratchcard or Instant Win Game.

Some of the highlights include free entry to the National Trust’s Dunham Massey and Carlisle Castle, which is an English Heritage site.

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is offering a free tour, while you can get free popcorn at HOME.
