30s woman is found by York city walls with head injury
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information after a woman was found injured at the junction of Price’s Lane and Bishopgate Street, just outside York city centre.

“Shortly after midday today, we received a report from the ambulance service that a woman in her 30s had been found with a head injury at the junction of Price’s Lane and Bishopgate Street, next to the city walls.
“She has been taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing,” said a spokesperson for the force.
The road is currently open, but the pavement is closed to pedestrians and road traffic officers are directing at the scene.
They added that they are appealing for anyone with information – particularly any members of the public who assisted at the scene – to contact them on 101.
