A170 at Sutton Bank to close for two nights for repairs
Sutton Bank on the A170 near Thirsk is due to close between 7pm and 4am on Thursday (July 23) till Saturday (July 25).
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Council said: “The works on the road will ensure that the “strategic route remains in a structurally sound condition long term”.

A spokesperson said: “During the closure of Sutton Bank, access to premises on the bank will be maintained whenever possible, however due to the nature of the works, there may be times when access will be restricted.”
