Agents GSC Grays markets the Brooms at Baldersby St James

The Brooms is at Baldersby St James, between Ripon and Thirsk, and is being marketed by GSC Grays of Richmond.

They describe the farm as offering “a significant block of prime arable land with extensive grain drying and storage facilities in a very accessible location.”

The farm is predominantly Grade II arable land, close to the A1 motorway, with irrigation from river and borehole.

About 581.05 acres is arable, with 1.67 acres of grass and 14.13 acres of woodland.

The farm also contains modern grain storage and drying for up to 4,000 tonnes.

The riverside areas and woodland offer “significant natural capital opportunity.”

There is also a solar array with commercial Export Agreement and Feed in Tariff.

In all, GSC Grays says the property has about 598.05 acres (242.03 hectares).

It is for sale for £7.2million as a whole or in six lots, the agents added.
