Arsenal remain in the market for a new forward but, after missing out on Vinicius Jnr, Juventus have made it clear that they will not sell Kenan Yildiz

The north Londoners failed with an initial enquiry for Yildiz earlier this summer and the Old Lady have now made it clear they’re not prepared to entertain the forward’s sale.

Juventus are ultimately in no hurry to sell and have the 21-year-old tied down on a contract until 2030, which he signed back in February. Yildiz scored 11 times in 47 outings last term and his displays saw him named the Serie A Rising Star of the Season.

Yildiz has continued to blossom since heading to Juventus as a free agent from the Bayern academy in 2022 and Spalletti is now adamant that, regardless of what figure is produce, the club will not sell their young star.

He said: “I am perfectly relaxed, because dealing with Yildiz is easy for me. They can offer whatever they like, I want Yildiz here and will always put him on the field. He’s a perfect lad to talk to, he’s mature, and knows he doesn’t need to rush anything.

“His future is already important staying at Juventus, not because there are other clubs who want to spend €100m for him. We are all convinced that we can show the total potential of Kenan, and he is a potential phenomenon of football. The fans are convinced too.”

Arsenal have looked to add another forward this summer despite already bringing in Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, with the Greek winger impressing in the side’s win over Coventry.

Vinicius Junior was targeted earlier this summer as his Real Madrid future remains uncertain. Any move would’ve been the biggest in the Gunners history but the Brazilian instead chose to remain at the Bernabeu, penning a new deal. Since that door was closed Arsenal have been linked with the Juventus star.
