Be on TV – BBC shows looking for contestants and contributors

Several BBC programmes are currently recruiting contestants and contributors, offering TV fans the chance to appear on some of the broadcaster’s biggest shows.

There is a new cooking show, yet to be named, which is being produced for the BBC by Studio Ramsay Global – Gordon Ramsay’s television production company.

The description for applicants reads “Whether you’re hoping to build confidence in the kitchen, master a cherished family recipe, learn a new cooking skill for an important life moment – if food has the power to change something in your life, we’d love to hear from you.”

Anyone aged over 18 can apply now until October 31, but has to be available for filming in November in the UK.

The programme is open for people to apply with applicants required to be 18 or over.

People looking to pitch ideas and gain advice from some of the most successful business moguls in the country can register their interest for the next series now.

For other business-savvy individuals, people are also able to apply to the next series of The Apprentice until January 2027.

After beating 11 other candidates, the winner will receive an investment of up to £250,000 and will go into a 50:50 business with Lord Alan Sugar.

Joanna Page of Gavin and Stacey fame needs couples, friends or family duos who are happy to compete against each other for the second series of her show Shift the Thrift.

The pairs, who should apply by September 27, will try to make the most money for a good cause close to their hearts by auctioning off items they have found in a charity shop.
